I'm back with an update on where I’ve been the past year! Live to my new station here https://jemradio.online/
What's up y'all? It's DJ J Erica. Um, I know a lot of you guys have been downloading my podcast, DJ J Erica Podcast. And man, I'm realizing that even with me not producing content, I have gained a brand new fan base, so I decided to come on here and do a quick audio clip for you guys. I've been considering coming back with a brand new podcast, but I know since you guys last heard from me around 2024, I was dealing with a lot of health issues. I just wanted to come on here, tell you guys that I'm alive and well, and things have been coming together so much so that I started my own radio station. Um, and I'm just hoping that everyone that has tuned into my podcast will equally and mutually support my new radio station that I launched. It is called JEM Radio.online, and that is literally the URL that you type in to your search engine, JEM Radio.online, and it's just a station for RB and hip-hop listeners, and I play all generations of hip-hop and RB. Um, we play current music, of course, for hip-hop and RB. We also play your favorite classic old school um songs, along with that from the early 2000s and 90s. Along with that, we also have the Quiet Storm where we play the super classics, you know what I'm saying? Like your favorite songs from the 80s and from the 70s, those love making hits, even the stuff from the 90s and even the early 2000s. Um, and we play that on the quiet storm late at night at 11 o'clock. So JEM Radio was created by me. Of course, I have my own media brand that I've been pushing for quite some time, um, including this podcast. So I had the podcast, also have my media website, DJ EricaPod.com, where I was putting out news right now. Um, pausing that and I'm focusing on the radio right now. And of course, I still blog, but the main focus right now is building this radio station. So I'm doing this podcast based off of the statistics that I'm seeing in the past uh week or so that I've had over 200 downloads in like a week, and I have not been posting, but I've been getting thousands and thousands more in the past 30 days, like in just the past week alone, I'm past over 250 downloads of this podcast, and um, I truly appreciate you guys listening to my archives and just like going through all 150 episodes that I posted. I've been considering maybe getting back on podcast, and I lost my voice during my health challenges and health struggles. I I did not have a voice and I was not able to enunciate and get words out, so uh, you know, I was vocally challenged for quite some time, and this is the first time that I've been able to properly and clearly be able to speak into a microphone. I'm not using any professional base mics right now. I'm literally have my headphones on on my iPhone. I'm talking into my microphone to get communicate to you guys for something real quick to let you guys know that I am here, I'm alive, I'm well, um, and I'm in the middle of doing a lot of great things. And um yeah, I just asked you guys to support the new radio station, JEM Radio.online. You know, it's a lot of traffic, but I know that you guys as listening will will help us build even more because I I have a dream and a vision for this entire brand in regards to JEM radio. Like I said, it's for all generations of listeners. Um, we play RB and hip-hop, and we play all generations of hip-hop and RB specifically. That's the genre, and when I say all generations, we're not gonna be playing no 1950s crazy stuff, you know what I'm saying? Like, it's for our generations, our 30-son-year-olds that love that music from the 80s and the 90s, love the music from the 2000s. That's gonna be the main focus of the music, and it's very well organized. Um, during our morning time, it's more like miscellaneous uh music from like the early 2000s. We also um, you know, we segue further into mixes midday for myself. Of course, I'm a part of Flea DJ. Shout out to the team because I just got back with them, and then we also have a few talented DJ acts that also play hip hop and RB, but we have a set playlist of brand new RB music that we play midday 12 to 2 o'clock. If you guys are looking for brand new RB music that just dropped, like Kalani out the window, you know, Kalani, um, just all of her new stuff that she came out with. We got that on there. Um, we have so many other new records that anything that's pretty much brand new in RB, you're gonna hear it. We got Coco Jones in rotation. Um, we have some old school um honoring legends like Karen White as well, um, who also had a brand new record that she came out on with, and we're pushing that. So that's what I mean by reaching all generations. Like you're gonna hear something from Kalani, a brand new track from Kalani, but then you're gonna also hear a brand new track from a legend like um Karen White. So it's like this station is something, and it's something in the making. And on the weekends, we really like to have the turn-up time, so that's when you know we have DJ Kingflow, who's all the way, all the way in Paris, France, uh, where he does his mix shows and he, you know, highlights the hip-hop and everything else. And then we have our party jumper, you know, uh DJ J Nation as well. And then for me, I mix my thing up, and you know, I love to do my hip-hop and RB uh throwback classics midday, and that's around two o'clock. So we have a great variety of this radio station. I just really want you guys to support it the way that you guys are supporting my podcast. It's music 24-7, um, limited to unum it's limited commercials, so dang near commercial free. You're not gonna have to deal with a ton of commercials, you're gonna be hearing 99% music, and at 1% you'll hear a commercial. And um, for the people that like to go mobile, you can download this app. It's called the Live 365 app. Live365.com. Look it up. You guys can listen on Androids or on your um Apple devices. Um, that's a radio device where you can listen. So it's live365.com. Then search J E M radio, and it'll pop up and um you'll see it. It'll say it's playing all generations of RB. It has a white background and it has uh radio giant boom box on the front. So that's the station, and we're just gonna continue to grow. And I hope that you guys tune in trying to get that listenership up. This is the stuff that I'm working on right now. I want to do more, I want to put out another pod, possibly talking about the current events that's happening. But you know, this is the directions that I'm at, and seeing all of these downloads, it made me just want to come in and just let you guys know that I'm alive and well, I'm functioning, I'm moving, I'm doing well, and this is my new business venture. And I hope you guys take the time to support. So uh go to the actual URL, JEMradio.online. That's all you gotta press. JEMradio.online enter. Put in your URL, it's gonna pop right up, and it's really nice and professional setup, and you can just stream it, and you can multitask while you stream it on your phone. And um, in the future, if we can get to the listenership where I want it to be, and beyond that, we will have an app dropping. I'm working on that, and it's a lot of great things on the rise. So thank you guys for supporting the DJ J Erica podcast. Um, this is just me giving you guys a tidbit. I I do want to work on an hour-long show um explaining the stuff I've been through, but really I'm a person who likes to get through when I get through something, I'll try to leave it behind me because I don't want to hold on something because it was something so negative, something's so scary, something so devastating, and you know, having to fight for my life, and I'm just thankful to be here and really I'm on the upside of that, and I'm trying to keep my mind in that way. Um, but I will probably do a podcast to discuss the things that I've been through. Um, but this isn't the podcast for that just yet. It's just me thanking you guys for listening and asking you guys to support the radio station and give it a listen, save it to you know, your favorites, share it with your people. I'm really trying to grow. And along with that, I also support the indie indie artists, and we do PR promotions as well. So um during mid-like evening, around seven o'clock, we would highlight independent artists that um are putting out tracks and high-quality tracks that that you guys might enjoy this from um the RB and hip hop sector as well. So please um make sure you guys follow me. There's a subscription button on the actual domain for the radio station so you guys can subscribe for when I put out a newsletter. Um, also, I'm gonna see if I can put my link tree at the bottom of this podcast so you guys can easily get to the radio station there. I gotta look into that. I thought I already had that in the description. If not, just simply go to jemradio.online. If there's no link in this description on this pod, just go straight there and um share it with your family and friends. I'm looking forward to the numbers further increasing as the podcast is increased now. And I thank y'all and I appreciate y'all for supporting me through all of the hiatuses that I've taken. I know I have not been consistent, but that was because my health is coming first, and this is something I would advise to anybody, no matter what your talent is, no matter what your job is, no matter what work that you want to pursue in life, you have to always put your your health first, and that's what I had to do. And you know, podcasting got me through a very tough and tramosless time in my life, and I'm still trying to get over those things, and you know, I'm doing the things that's necessary for me to be able to to function properly, but um, that's what I've been through, and I think that's a solid 10 minutes. So I will be back with more. Um, hopefully within the next 30 days or so, be able to put out another um pod with you guys. But please, the main focus of this podcast is to get you guys to listen to the radio station because that's what I'm investing in, and that's what I'm growing right now, and um, you know, simultaneously I will probably drop more pods in the future. So keep it locked here on the DJ Jericho podcast. But please, right now, go over to JEM Radio.online. Please support me. I really need to support. I'm trying to get back on my feet, and I truly appreciate y'all. Y'all be blessed. Bye bye.
