But we're here now and we're gonna be creating a lot more content, so make sure to subscribe, hit the notification bell, do all those things so you don't miss a single video that we have coming out. I'm catching up to all the questions that have been coming up while I was on the hiatus and moving in addition to that. I've put together a free guide all about how you can start enhancing your feminine energy. Now you can grab the link for that below, totally free. I think it's about a 10 to 15 page guide, uh, that goes through different life areas and different rituals you can start doing now. So you don't have to wait until I have a course or a program or any of that that'll help you start, uh, with the basics. So. Let's get into slow living lifestyle, right? Slow living lifestyle is actually something that I've been fascinated with for a very long time. Uh, but I never did it. And the reason why I never did it is because I always lived in cities, right? I grew up in a big city. Uh, I've lived in big cities. My husband also spent most of his time living in big cities. The last two years we were actually living in the second largest city. In Mexico for the last couple years. In addition to that, we're both entrepreneurs. We both like business. We both have a lot of energy. Uh, so we, we like to move right? And at least in my twenties, I'll speak for myself in my twenties because I was always in this hustle mode because I was taught that in order for me to be successful in life, then I had to always be grinding and hustling and money and success were the most important things. Turns out that was wrong, right? Uh, and I had to learn that the hard way. But because that's what I was taught. I spent most of my twenties moving at a very, very fast pace, and up until recently I always thought that I would end up in a city. So my husband and I now live in Mexico. We travel a lot for our main business. The main business is we run a relocation company where we help successful entrepreneurs and investors moving and invest overseas. It's why we're spending a lot of time in Mexico right now because Mexico is one of the top que uh, countries we get asked about. So we're, we're on the go a lot. Like, we like to travel, we like to explore new things, but what we've been feeling recently, um, and I'd been feeling it probably longer than my husband, but when I met him, he was already kind of moving in this direction and I was as well, is that we needed a slower pace. We needed a slower living lifestyle. When I met my husband, he basically told my mother, like, if it were up to me, I would be living in a farm in the middle of nowhere. And I was like, you're crazy. But now I'm like, okay, I think I can kind of, I can get the gist of it. I can get. Why? Because a few years ago when I had my dark night of the soul and I basically lost everything and had to start over and I had to learn to regulate my nervous system, one of the things I had to learn how to do was really slow down. Now, I wasn't ready to move outta the cities yet. Uh, that's more of a recent thing. But for example, I went from the United States to Mexico. Mexico is a slower pace. Than the United States period, culturally, which is why I tell a lot of women, and I know that this sounds kind of extreme, if you're a woman living in the United States, in Canada and parts of, uh, Western Europe and you're like, oh my God, I want a soft life, just move to another country where they value more soft life things. Mexico is one of them. So I already made a huge move, uh, with that and then. In addition to that, but we were living in the city, right? Because to go like moving to another country, for me, my husband was used to it. He'd been doing it for 10 years. But moving to another country for me was already a big enough adjustment and a big enough shift. And I was going through major life changes. This was a couple years ago. Um, so to go from like major cities my whole life to like more of a country lifestyle in Mexico. I, I don't think I could have done it right. So we ended up, uh, settling at least for a little while in the second largest city in Mexico, which is Guadalajara. Mexico City is the largest. And then you have Guadalajara. So we were there the last couple years and it was becoming pretty and we studied a lot of stuff there. Like we got the other business going, uh, with marketing and things like that. We actually studied to become holistic health practitioners. You can actually see our training materials. Down there from when we got certified. Um, you know, we've been taking meditation classes in the city and building a lot of community around that, uh, which was really helpful to us transitioning into a whole other country, uh, for me, and also gave me a lot of grounding, but it was becoming very apparent to us that we were kind of ready to get outta the city. Um. And we ended up manifesting moving to a lake house by Lake Chapala, which is the largest lake in Mexico. And this place is a dream'cause there's, um, it looks like Hawaii right now'cause it's rainy season. So that's number one. Number two, waking up to that lake view every morning is everything. We're also surrounded by mountains, so it feels a lot more grounding here. Then in the city we get our food from local farms. It's amazing. And I literally, we were out to breakfast the other day and they were just like cows roaming the street. It was great, and I never in a million years thought that I would enjoy that type of a lifestyle, but I'm realizing that the more in tune I get with my feminine energy, the more I want. A slower lifestyle. Right. And the more I want to embark on a seasonal living and cyclical living, which is a lot of what our ancestors did, they lived by the seasons. Even the farmers here, you can't see it, but across the lake there's a bunch of berry farms. Uh, they gotta go by the seasons in terms of, of harvest and, and all those kinds of things. Like one of the things that's interesting about Mexico, that's different from the united. States. It's like in the United States, you can find whatever kind of fruit or vegetable you want at whatever time of the year because they probably just imported it from somewhere else. Small towns in Mexico are not like that. Things are either in season or they're not right, and you have to, uh, adjust accordingly in that regard. So why? Are a lot of people, not just women. Right. But why are a lot of people in general more interested now in more of this slow living, uh, kind of lifestyle? Because we also hear this a lot in the main business when we're helping people move to other countries. Like they're just done with. The pace of the United States is one of the things that we hear a lot, so. There's a problem with hustle culture and there's a problem with hustle mode. And the main problem is that it's unsustainable. And those of us who come from Western countries, uh, we live in a world that glorifies productivity. Efficiency and getting things done right. You'll notice that a lot of the personal development stuff in the United States, which is where I'm from, is about getting more done, getting things done, uh, moving faster, moving better. It's very competitive, right? There's other countries that are not. So much like that. Again, Mexico being one of them, but there's several, uh, all around the world where the lifestyle is not really like that. Um, now there's nothing wrong with productivity and efficiency. There's a time and a place for them. Like, I sometimes wish Mexico was more efficient, uh, with some things, but I also appreciate that it's not right. So it's about finding that nice little, uh, balance in between. And what happens is those of us who come from more, uh, the United, traditionally Western countries like the. United States, Canada, and again, parts of Western Europe, I believe more in the north. There's like an over, um, over, uh, adoration, I guess over admiration. Um, over glorification of those things, which tend to be a lot more masculine. And not only is it more masculine, it just eventually, like I said, it's unsustainable. I had a nearly seven figure business a few years ago and I burned out so bad and my nervous system basically collapsed because it was all built on this hustle mode, hustle culture kind of thing. And again. There's nothing wrong with ambition. I'm very ambitious. I started this as a creative project because I was bored on the side of the other business. My husband is also very ambitious. Um, you know, the problem, like I said, is when we have an imbalance of those things, and most people are living in an imbalance way, particularly when we look at the United States and Canada, which again, because of the, the main business that we have, we mostly work with Americans and Canadians. Um, they're all in survival mode. Uh, even people who are doing well in those countries are in survival mode and their nervous systems are just wrecked because that's, that's what life is like, uh, in those countries right now. So this constant motion, this constant stimulation, this constant. Output, right? That is masculine energy and overdrive. And by the way, even men need to rest because they're human, right? So you might, uh, I know that there's examples of men that are like, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. And granted, right? They can do that and sustain it a lot longer than us women can because of how their hormones are actually set up, right? They have a 24 hour cycle. We have a 28 day cycle. It's totally different. Men can do the same thing day in and day out and be fine. Us women, we're like a different person from one week to the next, which kind of drives men crazy until they understand what is going on there. I mean, hell, it drives us women crazy until we understand. Um. What is going on there? But even men need to rest. Or if you go to the gym, right, if you, if you lift weights, if you go to the gym, if you're a gym rat, like what do you have to, uh, put into your gym protocol? You need a rest day. You need to rest. We are human right? We're not robots, we're not machines. Um, you know, back when I did a lot more business coaching and I was getting more into like automations and funnels and all that kind of stuff, one thing I, my husband and I would joke about, we'd be like, let the machines be machines and then you go be a human, right? So it, it's not just like a feminine energy thing, it's just a human thing. Um, in a lot of ways. And the thing is, when we humans live like that, but especially women, we slowly disconnect from. Our intuition, we start disconnecting from our softness, our creativity, our sensuality, our receiving power. And again, this is specifically women. It affects men in a bit of a different way. And in addition to that, and I've seen this with a lot of women, it completely disconnects us from our bodies, right? So this is when you have women who are literally living from the head up.'cause there's so much masculine energy. So. Now that we've established what's going on for a lot of people, let's talk about what is feminine energy, right? And then we'll get into how slow living and seasonal living is kind of like the perfect feminine reset as someone who's living it right now. So as I've mentioned several times, feminine energy is not about being passive, it's not about doing nothing, right? It's not, it's more about being present. I will give you an example. Uh, this past week we did not have, uh, help. Normally we have like a housekeeper who comes to help us once a week, but, uh, she wasn't able to come next week'cause her family member's sick. So I had to, when that happens, usually I have to pick up the slack, which is fine, right? But I was cleaning the kitchen, making us some food a couple days ago, and I had the, and I had this moment where I was like, you know what? Let me play like really beautiful music and just make this a very beautiful. Experience, and I had this moment while I was doing this where even something so mundane, like cleaning the kitchen and making vegetables suddenly because I was so present in that moment, seemed so beautiful to me in its simplicity. So that would be an example of feminine energies being very present, uh, in the moment. Now, in that case, I also made it feminine energy by making it pretty, by playing really nice, like. Summer cottage music playlist, um, on YouTube with like piano and all these beautiful waltz's and things. So that would be an example of how to incorporate feminine energy into something so mundane and then being very present in that moment. A lot of women are out here living in their heads and living in the past and living in the future, but not really in the present. The feminine is also about doing, uh, less. Right. It's about doing what nourishes you. So what do we mean by doing less? Here are some examples on how we can do it. According to seasonal living, it's summer. Right now it's the height of summer. It's when you have more energy, it's when there's more stuff going on. It's maybe when you're feeling more social and outgoing than you do for, than you would during winter months, for example. Mm-hmm. Um, another example might be with your own hormonal cycle, and I'll do a whole other video on, on cycle sinking according to your hormones. Because I've said it several times, it's life changing. I'll do another video, but I'll use myself as an example. Right. This might be TMI, but it is what it is. Right. I'm doing extra videos and extra work because I'm in a part of my hormonal cycle where I have extra energy to do it right. In a week. I'm not gonna have the energy to do it, and a week after that, I'm probably just gonna wanna sleep extra now because I know that. About my cycle. What does that mean? It means I'm planning my own productivity and my own schedule around the seasons of my body, right? So you could do it around the seasons of literally life, you know, and nature. And you could also do it according to the seasons. Of your cycle, right? So it's not, it's about doing less, right? It's about knowing when it's appropriate to do certain things instead of trying to do everything all at the same time. And what a lot of women in Western Worlds are trying to do right now is trying to do everything all at the same time, and then they just end up burned out and exhausted. Another way to do it is to actually ask for help. Um, you know, if you're feeling overwhelmed, ask. For help. Right? And you'd be surprised at how many women just don't do that because they feel so uncomfortable receiving. And I've done another video, which you can check out on the many reasons as to why women, uh, struggle with receiving. Because it's not like an accident and it's not like random. There's reasons for it. And once you understand those reasons, and you're better able to heal that part of yourself so you can start receiving more, and in receiving more, you start doing less and running yourself less into the ground. Right. The other thing is a part of the you that's intuitive. It's cyclical in nature. I just gave an example of that. It's magnetic and it's also emotionally attuned. And here's the truth, right? Your feminine essence and your feminine energy, the thing that makes you most attractive, the thing that helps you manifest, the thing that attracts provider men to you. Uh, the help thing that helps you manifest your desires, whatever they might be. It doesn't thrive in a chaotic, always on environment. It just doesn't, right? We're literally not built that way physically or psychologically. We're not built that way, and it's not how we thrive, um, as women. The reality is that our feminine energy, and we as women, we need space, right? I've said that to my husband a lot. I'm like, I get my best ideas when I'm doing nothing. I get my best ideas when I give myself the space to rest, right? It's not an accident. It's because that's how the feminine really works. So let's get into how slow living and the slow living lifestyle, which I know is trending all over social media. It's kind of, in my opinion, one of the ultimate. Feminine resets, right? So slow living, like I said, is a trend, right? You see it all over YouTube, you see it on TikTok, you see it on Instagram. It's not an aesthetic, right? I know there's an aesthetic that goes with it that's really cute, like cottage core and all that kind of stuff. It's more of a nervous system, reset. And one of the things that we really need to learn how to do is we need to learn how to regulate our nervous systems.'cause a lot of us are running out here with totally dysregulated nervous systems and it's part of what's causing a lot of sabotaging behavior, bad decisions and anxiety and health issues. And it just, it's interesting because when we were studying and becoming certified holistic healers here in Mexico, I remember day one of the class, uh, our teacher was basically a shaman. I remember day one. We went into the nervous system and he said something I will never forget, which is everything starts in the nervous system. Every ailment, every issue, everything you can think of starts in the nervous system. And guess what? Every ancient civilization knew it. They may not have had the words or the science or the terminology or the instruments to track these things like we do now, but they knew that everything started in the nervous system, and I never forgot that. That's one of the reasons why nervous system regulation is so important, right? So when we go into the slow living lifestyle, which could look like being more present in the moment, it could look like living more by the seasons. It could look like going more according to your hormones and your cyclical nature as a woman. It could mean going by the moon cycles, right? It could mean meditating more, but basically slowing down in whatever way it helps you to slow down. It's a way of being that says, I trust enough. To slow down. A lot of the reason why people don't slow down is because they don't trust that they're safe and they're gonna be okay and taken care of, right? So it's that I trust enough to slow down. I know that when I had my own massive nervous system dysregulation and everything collapsed around me, I had a hard time slowing down because I didn't feel safe slowing down. I thought, you know, my, my security was like at stake. If I slowed down, which might, uh, might seem familiar to some of you. It means I honor my body's rhythms. Right. Huge. Most people out here are not out here honoring their body's rhythms, and that's why they have a bunch of ailments that they're dealing with. Right. It means I value presence over pressure. Okay. Now, for those of us, it's interesting because I used to, I used to perform very well under pressure and I kind of liked. Right. This was in my twenties. Uh, I was going after the goals and I'm still very ambitious. I just have a different relationship to ambition and goals now than I used to have. It's a lot more holistic now and a lot more sustainable, but I remember that I used to perform very well under pressure, and if I was under pressure, that was like the thing I needed, right? Like my back needed to be up against a wall in order for me to really perform. I know a lot of entrepreneurs and high performing people that are like that. And I had, and now that I've gotten more into this slow living and I've gotten really good results from it holistically and sustainably, pressure doesn't do anything for me anymore. It does not motivate me. It doesn't do anything for me because I know ultimately that it's unsustainable, especially as a feminine energy woman. And the slow living lifestyle allows your feminine energy to come back online naturally. Okay. Completely. Naturally what's going on out here is a lot of women either, you know, sometimes hormonal birth control has something to do with it. I could do a whole other video on that. Um, or things that, or medications that we're taking for whatever other ailment, uh, that we may have sometimes causes some issues here. But mostly it's just our lifestyle, like what we're eating and how we're living, and how we're relating to time and our relationships and our bodies and everything around us basically. When it happens, right, is our feminine energy. It's almost like it goes off online, it goes offline. And I see this a lot in women who live from the neck up. When I see a woman that all her energy is up here in her head, neck up, I know she's gone offline. So when you start practicing more of the slow living lifestyle. That feminine energy can start coming back online now. It's not gonna be like this. It's not gonna be from one day to the next. The reality of what's probably gonna happen is you're gonna start slowing down and your nervous system's gonna freak out. Your brain's gonna freak out because again, all that safety stuff, it's gonna start coming up like, I'm not safe. I'm not safe. Uh, if I'm not in control, I'm not safe. Uh, and that those are moments for you to work through those things. The slow living lifestyle can help you do that in a way that's not so jarring. So when your feminine energy starts to come back online, and I can say this from experience as well, you start to feel grounded again. One of the things that I really love about living out here more in the country is that I feel grounded because I'm so much closer to nature. So grounded, right? Uh, this again might be too much TMI, but I got off of, um, hormonal contraceptive and one of, and you know, within two months of getting off of it, and I had prepared for six months prior before I got off of it, I was preparing my body for six months. So getting off of it would be an easier transition, but one of the things that I noticed was how much more grounded I felt in my body. And that was something that I just, I cannot feel that. When I'm on hormonal contraceptives, maybe you can, but I cannot. Right? So I was like, I need to get off of this stuff because I feel so disconnected and so ungrounded and I have so much, um. Anxiety. Right. So the, and again, right when I was able to get off of it, I was able to start living in a slow living type of lifestyle because I started, I was able to read what was going on with my body and listening to my body's rhythms and knowing things like, okay, I can film extra stuff now, but I'm not gonna be able to in two weeks. Better get it done now, and then I'm gonna rest in two weeks. Right. But again, I feel more grounded since making those changes and doing more of a slow living lifestyle. The other thing is that your magnetism increases, it increases in business, it increases in relationships, it increases in everything because you know what is more attractive than a person who's very grounded in themselves. It's super attractive when you find a person who's grounded in themselves, who's sure of themselves, who's not living in their heads. Super attractive, right? Man or woman. It's very attractive. And the other thing that happens is that you stop, uh, you stop operating in. Survival mode, and you start going into soul mode, you start being led more by your soul and not your survival. And guess what happens? When you're led more by your soul? You're more authentic. You make better decisions, you become more successful in whatever way that means to you. And whatever success looks like to you, you become more intentional about how you live your life. You become healthier. It just benefits you in every way possible. When you get outta survival and more into soul. So here are some of the ways that you can start to embody a slow living lifestyle, um, and then incorporating more feminine energy into it and increasing your feminine energy. As a result, right? So here are five ways that you can start living slower and reacting your femini, reactivating your feminine energy today. And again, I have a free guide that I put together for you guys so you can download that below. And it has a lot of these practices and some more in there, right? So number one, this is huge for me. Start your mornings without your phone. Okay? I don't even have my phone in my bedroom. I don't want it. You know, my bedroom, I don't wanna look at it. I don't want it near me while I'm sleeping. Because what happens is you get into the bad habit of looking at your phone. Here are all the notifications. Here's the news from the world. Here's the chaos. This person needs this from you. This person needs that from you. This crappy email came in, this good email came in, and basically it's an assault on your nervous system first. Thing in the morning. So I don't look at my phone, I don't have it in the bedroom. I do have my iPad next to me because I use that for, uh, meditation, but I don't have anything related to work or messages or any of that stuff on my iPad, right? Um, and what you want, what that helps you do is that it helps you create a soft space for presence right before the world starts. Pulling you in different directions. It's like you take control of the day before the world takes control of you, right? The next thing is you wanna embrace rituals, not routines. Like I don't have a problem with the word routine. I love routines, I love them. Um, but I will admit. There is something very nice about the word rituals and that some people have an easier time with the word ritual. It's similar to how people have a problem with the word budget, but they have no problem with saying spending plan. It's kind of like that, right? So embrace rituals, not routines, you know, light a candle, light some incenses, gruesome tea. Um, every time I'm having a tea or a coffee, I set it with intentions. For example, I have, uh, candles and altars for things that I'm trying to manifest into this life. You, you can turn daily moments into sacred pauses. Similar to that example I gave when I was cooking a couple days ago, and I started playing music and I was like, oh my God, this is so beautiful. Even the most mundane, simple, basic, everyday thing can be so beautiful in the present moment when you ritualize it. The second thing you want, the next thing right, is you want to move your body intuitively. Uh, feminine energy flows when you do. You can dance, you can stretch, you can walk. I hike up and down the mountain that we live on now, it doesn't look like much, but, oh man, it's deceiving. Uh, there's a pool that we can go to. To swim. I can do yoga out on the patio. Sometimes I just wanna dance and move my body in different ways and sometimes I wanna rest. Right? So it's not necessarily be about reps. And when you get into cycle, sinking as a woman and let me know in the comments if you want me to do a video specifically on cycle sinking and like biohacking according to your hormones or your hormonal cycle, right? You know what exercises to do when. That's the other thing. It's like, it's not just like when you're most productive, it's also like, what, what exercise makes the most sense for my body right now and how I'm feeling? Right? Uh, you also wanna create clear space on your calendar. This is so counterintuitive to what a lot of like business people and productivity gurus will tell you. But again, most of those are either men or masculinized women. Right? Uh, most women don't. Do very well with those things because the feminine needs space. She needs space to think. She needs space to rest. She needs space to create. She needs space to do nothing. She needs space to let her mind wander. She needs space, uh, to ground, and that's when her magic is able to turn on. You can also reconnect with beauty. You can surround yourself with art, with nature. I'm really getting into like music and stuff lately, while I'm cooking or cleaning and just playing really beautiful music. You know, feminine energy ultimately at the end of the day is beauty embodied. It was always goddesses that were were related or associated with a beauty not god's. All right, and then right finally. We're gonna go into is what happens when you start to do this, right? So when you start to shift into more of a slow living lifestyle, there's magic that starts to happen. Maybe not right away, right? But with time, you're gonna start noticing some things, right? Number one, you stop chasing. You stop chasing, period. Things become a lot more attracted to you. You become a lot more magnetic. Things become easier. One example, would it be like this move that we just went through, like it wasn't even something that we planned. It wasn't something that we grinded for. It wasn't something that we hustled for. It kind of just happened and it flowed in a really magical way, and we attracted the property. We're on, um, right now, and I've done other videos on how, um, when couples come together and I have a theory that when couples come together and a man that's very much in his masculine energy and a woman is very much in her feminine energy, they manifest like freaking crazy. So I will leave that below for you as well, because this move is definitely an example of that. You also become more magnetic, uh, more creative. I've never been so like. After many years of feeling like my creativity had just shut down because I was just in survival mode for so long, it started to come back online and I started being able to express myself again. I wasn't as afraid to express myself. I became a lot more creative and, and I wanted to embark in more creative pursuits.
