Episode 51: The Lie of Isolation

There’s a story about a pastor who visited a man who had stopped coming to church. They sat together by a fire. Without saying a word, the pastor reached out with the fire poker and separated one glowing coal from the rest. In just a few minutes, it faded and went cold.
After a while, the pastor stood up to leave. The man nodded and said, “I’ll be back on Sunday.”
We were never meant to burn alone.
And yet the lie of isolation convinces men they’re safer in silence. Today we confront that lie—and call each other back to the fire.
