Hey queens, welcome back to another Daily Buzz. So this is actually my last wedding for this spring season, so I thought what would be better than making a list for you and kind of the things that I'm looking at for wedding week as I lead up to it. So here is your wedding week checklist. So every Monday leading up to the weekend, I make sure that I'm checking in with all of my vendors, confirming that everybody's time is correct, that they are showing up, they know where they're supposed to be. So doing a check-in with all of the vendors, making sure that they have the timeline and that everything is smooth from that end, typically from my end of things. We have met so many times and I have every detail that you could possibly imagine that I kind of step back and tell the couple if there's anything that they need, I am available. Otherwise, at this point this is kind of where you are doing some running. So here are some things for your wedding week. Make sure that you create a detailed wedding like rehearsal day timeline, or at least have it in a group chat. You are going to be herding like chickens, not herting. At least that is the goal with your bridal party. You want to make sure that your bridal party knows where to be and when to be there. So make sure that you either have a group chat going or you have a very good, just written down in paper in email that they know where to be at what time. Next thing is you wanna make sure that you're also breaking in your wedding shoes, those beautiful shoes. You do not want to be hurting halfway through cocktail hour because you haven't worn them. So wear them around the house, walk around in those wedding shoes to get those broken in and then make sure that everybody has their attire, that's, your gowns, your suits, your accessories, all of those pieces. Make sure that those are prepped and ready to go. If you are considering packing emergency kit, usually things for those I say are safety pins, a sewing kit, any pain reliever, blotting paper deodorant, 50 pins, a sewing kit, any pain reliever, blotting paper, deodorant just those pieces that you might actually end up needing. Also tampons for you to have ready for you and your girls.

You want to make sure that you organize your tips and payments. If you're doing any tips for your vendors, put them in a labeled envelope and then just check in with everything that you are supplying. If you are DIYing any of your decor, double check your seating chart. Make sure that nothing has changed, as well as a who is bringing what list. So, when it comes to all of the things that you are taking to your venue, make sure you know who is responsible for what taking it in and then confirm that they are also taking it out. That is one area that I have seen be an issue. Somebody was responsible for bringing it in and then on wedding night said here's the seating chart back and they said I'm sorry, that is not me, so make sure that you know who is taking things in and out.

On wedding day, please make sure that you pick up your marriage license, if you haven't already, and then get your steamer or iron ready, depending on where you're getting married. You probably don't want to start steaming things a few days earlier, because once you start steaming, you put it back in the bag, it gets wrinkly again and then this is super important If you are writing your vows, please make sure that those are prepared and you have practiced them a few times. Also, if you have assigned anybody to do speeches, please have them write that down and not wing it. I promise from experience, those speeches that get winged are usually the ones that go viral on social media, and not in the good ways. So if you have somebody doing speeches, make sure that those are put together and you are practicing your vows Leading up to wedding day.

Make sure that you are getting a good night's sleep. So we're talking rehearsal day at this point. Make sure everything's packed, you have your overnight bag confirmed, who's attending your rehearsal and your rehearsal dinner, and then make sure that you have those rings and those ring boxes. So it is now your rehearsal night. Tomorrow is your wedding. Here are some good tips, and I really hope that you listen to me in this so you have an amazing wedding.

Make sure that you're getting a good night's sleep.

Speaker 0:

There is no reason for you to stay up late and party on rehearsal night.

It might be tempted, with all of your friends and family there, but I promise you will want a good night's sleep and you are going to be so excited for tomorrow being your big wedding day that you are already going to have a hard time falling asleep. So make sure you get a good night's rest. You want to make sure that you are eating well on rehearsal day and at your rehearsal dinner. I promise, if you don't eat on rehearsal day, you are going to be hungry on wedding day and that is going to make you a little hangry. So eat well, stay hydrated, get good sleep. Make sure that you have charged your phone. If you need to take portable chargers, then make sure to pack that portable charger. And then, the most important, on your rehearsal day, make sure you're spending time with your loved ones. So work hard early in your wedding week to make sure you have everything checklist and where it needs to be, you're communicating with the correct people so everybody is able to enjoy your rehearsal and your wedding day. That is your daily buzz.
