Hey Queens, Welcome back to another episode of the Daily Buzz. Today we are talking about bachelorette themes Love I love this topic. I think it makes or breaks the whole entire weekend. I think you have to also do what matches you best and also where you're going, and we had a lot of people send in their bachelorette themes that they've either done or they would love to see in the future.
Speaker 2:I think this is so fun because you're so stressed about wedding theme and color palettes and design and all of the pieces, and why not have a moment for you and your girlies to just live it up and do the thing?
Speaker 1:Just party it up. It really is that one time and that one break in between, like wedding planning, where you just get to relax and enjoy your time and have fun. So yeah.
Speaker 2:So what was your theme? Did you do a theme for your bachelorette?
Speaker 1:party, grace, I did. I did margaritas and matrimony because we were going to Rocky Point and I love a margarita. So I mean I will say we didn't go crazy with the theme, which I wasn't, you know, against or like pro, but we had decorations and stuff like that. But I know a lot of girls like themes nights and you have to wear. I was totally not against it, but I just feel like that's so much work and you're already spending money to go there and then, oh, you need to buy an outfit for Thursday, friday, saturday. You know, I just didn't Say it louder for the people in the back yeah, please stop doing the theme nights every night, because these poor girls are already spending a hell of money to come to these bachelor parties.
Speaker 2:I've seen people have absolute meltdowns over trying to pick outfits that match the color palette for each night and it's not.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I think I do. I am down for one night where it's a theme night, where it's like, hey, we're going out to the club tonight or we're going out to XYZ, let's all match, love that. But if every day you're saying, oh, you need to wear a sequence, and then you need to, like, wear a red outfit, and then it's just, it's overkill in my opinion. It's too much and I'm not for it.
Speaker 2:I mean I wish I had the just oomph that these girls have to like always go hard forever. But I feel like whenever I'm on like a drinking bender which does not happen often- You're like when I'm on a three weekend bender, Three day weekend bender. There's like, finally, a point where I'm like you're, I don't even want to put my makeup on.
Speaker 1:Like just let me throw my makeup on. No, you get sweatpants and a tank top. That's what you get.
Speaker 2:Me showing up is going to be a W for this event. That's what.
Speaker 1:I'm saying it takes everything and that too, if you are going, as most people do, to go and party and celebrate and go out to drink, I just feel like the thought of even putting together all these outfits and we need to get all these pictures and it's just, it's too much for me.
Speaker 2:Yes. And there is a point Keep in mind. I know that the social media era is here and is going very strong and influencing a lot of our generation, but you want to make memories, you want to enjoy the moment. It is not all about what hits the social media feed. So make sure that you are making memories, babe.
Speaker 1:It is not just for the photos. Yeah, the photos.
Speaker 2:Unless you have a very high Instagram following and you're getting paid for it. Good for you. We want that for you. Pop off queen, go queen, but make sure you're making memories with your core people, and it is about the experience. It is not always about when the camera clicks. So what are some of your favorite themes that you saw, grace?
Speaker 1:So we had some people send stuff in, so bikinis and martinis, freaking love, which I love because I love me a good espresso martini, and like dry martinis, I don't know, no, I don't. I want to be a martini girl, like straight vodka, like those, but I don't know if I can't I just did lemon drops the other night, oh, those are fire I had like four and then I like tapped my husband and I was like we've got to go home soon.
Speaker 1:Yeah, the martinis are straight. Liquor is what it is, so it's those, but I do. I forgot about a lemon drop. I do love a lemon drop, lemon drop, martinis fire. Chef's kiss.
Speaker 2:You could kidnap Kelsey with a lemon drop. Martini Bye. You said adios, exactly Groovy kind of love, so cute. I do love that. I am not really a 70s hippie girl I strive to be. I was a vegan for 11 years and I just I wanted so bad. She said peace and love. I just wanted to be a peace and love girl, but it's just, I was never it. My bestie is a groovy kind of girl. I could see her totally having this theme and she fits the vibe. So absolutely love that. I love the different themes.
Speaker 1:I know the summer. I feel like you have never seen it. The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Speaker 2:No, is that a movie? It's a TV show that's like.
Speaker 1:It's almost like a Twilight, where it's a throuple. You know People, you know like or no, no, no, like a love triangle, Okay.
Speaker 2:I didn't mean throuples. Throuples are very different than love triangles, girl. Sorry, sorry, sorry.
Speaker 1:Oh my gosh, it's a love triangle between brothers and this girl that they grew up with. Okay, so that's why this one, isabella, sent. In the summer I turned my new last name Cute, so cause it's called the summer, I turned pretty and I even responded. I said, as a fellow, the summer, I turned pretty fan. I love this theme, okay.
Speaker 2:So cute, no idea.
Speaker 1:I figured, that's why.
Speaker 2:I brought it Sorry. It's okay, I am in my motherhood.
Speaker 1:You're in your mother, and that's totally fine.
Speaker 2:Can you bring up the?
Speaker 1:funny one. Huh, which one? The one on the bottom.
Speaker 2:Oh, that's good. I don't know. Here really quick I did y2k I love that I would die I was in my I don't know. I was totally. I'm a little. I'm a little older than grace, not that much older. I'm not like ancient um, like my children say that I am. I'm still cool, but um, y2k, freaking love it I was totally a boy band girl.
Speaker 2:I was brit Britney Spears, christina Aguilera, like that is so my era. So I did Y2K. I totally remember the, you know, when the clock struck midnight in 2000 and everybody thought that the world was going to just explode. So that one I love it, I dig it. But yes, this bottom one is Gucci. I would so do this.
Speaker 1:It says the one theme is the last pickle.
Speaker 2:She'll ever take Gold, that is freaking gold.
Speaker 1:It's funny because I'm assuming Nicole is her name. I messaged her just like the other one.
Speaker 2:These are supposed to say anonymous, it's fine.
Speaker 1:Okay, it's fine. It's a theme for a bachelorette party. It's not?
Speaker 2:a horror story. Luckily it's a common name.
Speaker 1:Okay, Anyway, she said, I said this is hilarious, and she said I didn't even pick the theme. That is gold, which I loved. That's amazing. The last one is I um, um, like princess diaries yeah, shut up me a bride how she says yes, a princess, or yeah, shut up me a princess yes love that. I love that theme. I'm here for all the old disney nostalgia.
Speaker 2:I love all those yes, um, mermaid and matrimony cute I. I loved all of our responses. They were good. Live it up. It is summertime, it is your bachelorette season for all of our upcoming fall 2025, spring 2026 brides. Live it up, make memories, enjoy your time with you and your girlies.
