Hey Queens, welcome back to another episode of the Daily Buzz. Kelsey and I are here today to talk about the infamous Jeff Bezos wedding.
Speaker 2:Yes, it has finally happened. Yes, I felt like I was waiting for a baby to be born. No, seriously, because I've been like waiting for all of the tea on the Bezos wedding so I have all of my notes. Okay, perfect, per our previous conversation, yes, this was a $50 million wedding.
Speaker 1:I can't even imagine like having $50 million and then like only spending it on like one thing.
Speaker 2:Well, he has more than $50 million.
Speaker 1:Obviously I'm saying just having $50 million to just spend on that one thing, and then he has millions, of like, more dollars, like you know what I mean. Yeah, like the fact that he could literally just out of his bank account here's 50 million dollars and still be rich as fuck I know, so I can you give some us to like, everyone like.
Speaker 2:Share the love, jeff basil, uh, like grace has a honeymoon.
Speaker 1:Kelsey has six kids. I know I'm trying to. Well, I'm going to Italy too. So I'm trying to.
Speaker 2:You know I'm trying to live it up like the places. Well, I have some negative information on the experience from guests, but so guests arrived. I want to say it was Wednesday, thursday-ish. We started seeing the Kardashians arrive, kylie, looking snatched. Can we talk about Ivanka Trump?
Speaker 1:Yes, her outfits were stunning.
Speaker 2:This is not political, by any means.
Speaker 1:No, her outfits were just slaying Let me throw that out there.
Speaker 2:We are not going to get political, but Ivanka Trump you look like a freaking queen. Every single day I was obsessed yeah.
Speaker 1:Kelsey was sending me play-by-plays, like every picture, yes, every outfit she had, I'm like.
Speaker 2:Oh my gosh, Grace, did you see this Like obsessed? And they just kept getting better.
Speaker 1:No, she looked really good.
Speaker 2:She looked absolutely stunning. Her family looked so cute. It was just Ivanka, okay, she looked amazing. Let's talk about Lauren's wedding dress. She looked amazing. Let's talk about Lauren's wedding dress.
Speaker 1:What are your thoughts For her? I think for her age Wow, for her age it was appropriate. I did like it. I thought she was going to go like full boobie, Like I mean she has a great body, so she looked amazing in the dress. I'm not a fan of lace so I didn't care for that, which was like the whole dress, but I think she looked pretty. I'd give it like a six out of 10 for the dress. Okay, and I mean her hair. I mean her hair was cute. I think what was up in, like a bun or something. Yep, yeah, it was. It was all right. It wasn't my favorite. I think I've seen better celebrity wedding dresses.
Speaker 2:It was very. It gave me like medieval times.
Speaker 1:Well, that's what I'm saying. I was like are we back in like Bridgerton or some shit, Like yes, I was like okay, so.
Speaker 2:So, whatever it's her wedding dress, she felt comfortable in it. She thought it was what she wanted. Do you remember who designed it?
Speaker 1:I read it like five times that I'm. Was it Versace?
Speaker 2:no it was Dolce and Gabbana Dolce.
Speaker 1:Okay, I knew it was one because they designed like all the Kardashian weddings and stuff like Kourtney and stuff so, whatever it's your wedding, you feel beautiful in it.
Speaker 2:If I had $50 million to spend on my wedding, is that the dress I chose?
Speaker 1:I mean, it was custom made. I feel like she could have looked better for $50 million, like I. Just I don't know.
Speaker 2:But if you want to know who actually hated her wedding dress, it is Jeff Bezos' ex-wife. So Jeff Bezos' ex-wife took to Twitter, also known as ex. Welcome to the 80s, when big hair and conspicuous consumption ruled. Apparently, Tacky is back.
Speaker 1:Damn she went in. I mean shit. I'd be salty too if I was the ex-wife, because damn that man is rich.
Speaker 2:I don't know if they signed a prenup Like the ex?
Speaker 1:Yeah, they had. With how rich she is. They had to have signed a prenup.
Speaker 2:There's no way, kate and Jeff yeah, you think she left that marriage with $0?.
Speaker 1:No, but not as rich as she could be now. Maybe the marriage sucked.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean, maybe he's a piece of shit we don't know, I don't, I don't have the tea on that.
Speaker 1:So all right. Insane work though, that she actually posted on social media it's pretty freaking good.
Speaker 2:She's like you know what? What do I have to lose? Who cares? So are you going to venice? No, okay, well, that's good, because people were reporting that the heat was not helpful and that it took forever to get around Venice, which meant which were by boats. It was a hassle and it took ages to get around. They also said there were a lot of people who needed to get to the same place at the same time. There wasn't great transportation. A-list invitees were allegedly grumbling about the least about the least, and then were disrespectful about the event schedule. People were complaining about being tired by the time of wedding day because there were so many days of activities. Do you remember when we did this daily buzz and we talked about the, the Venice government or Venice like?
Speaker 2:city council said that there was not going to be an issue with transportation, that it wouldn't affect the regular tourist stuff.
Speaker 1:That is a lie. Well, venice, I mean, I've never been there, but I've heard, obviously, that you can only get around through Bo. Obviously, you can like walk through, the like, once you get to a certain spot, you can walk around, but I just don't see with how much. How many people were invited and especially snobby A-listers being like I need to get here as soon as possible and I need the best treatment and I'm in nine inch stilettos.
Speaker 2:How do they think that?
Speaker 1:was a good idea to have it there. I just don't get that.
Speaker 2:Nope, I don't know this festival. It kicked off Thursday night at one of the churches I am not even going to try to get this name right because I can't even this was multiple, multiple day event, so $50 million wedding of the year. I mean who else, whatever other celebrities getting married this year?
Speaker 1:Well, Haley Steinfeld. And that one football player just got. I didn't know his name, but I can't think of it.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:They just got married and she looked stunning, Did she? And my favorite YouTuber just got married and her wedding was gorgeous Like definitely a million dollars. Is she brunette? She's, yeah, dark brunette.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I and Lainey Wilson is engaged, so hopefully that will be a cute wedding too. So all right, there's your Bezo buzz. If we decide to do another episode on it, it's going to be worth it, because I'm still obsessed over this wedding. So that's your daily buzz.
