Hey queens, welcome to the Wedding Hive Podcast. It is officially 2026, and we are so excited for what is to come. I am your co-host Kelsey. And I'm your co-host, Grace. And we are so excited to be here. So a really quick background. My name is Kelsey. I am a wife, mom of six, and have been in the wedding industry for a few years now. I've done everything from coordinating, planning, ran a venue, all of the things. So my wedding expertise is it's stacked. It's stacked there. Grace, what about you?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, I've recently been in the wedding industry for a year now. I do content creation. I got married just a year ago and planned my own wedding. So I know all the good, the bad, and the ugly.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes. So 2025 was an amazing year. It was our first year of the wedding hive podcast. And let's talk about like our following. Let's talk through social media.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, yeah. Currently, right now, we are at 6,000 followers on Instagram. We are almost to 10K on TikTok and almost 1,000 subscribers on YouTube.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes. And we are on Spotify as well as Apple, um, Apple podcasts. And so our episodes are being seen across the world. So shout out to our friends in Australia and Japan. Um, crazy when we saw that. Yes, we support the weddings all over the world. So now that we are going into 2026, what what do we what are we bringing?

SPEAKER_00:

We're bringing a lot. We have a lot of special guests that want to come on, some people that we are even feeling very honored to have on. Um, we definitely have decided we want to shift a little bit, not only helping in the planning process, but helping for what's to come after the wedding. Yes. The marriage, um, the things, you know, the wedding day is, of course, the fun part, but what you're really doing is entering into a marriage. So we're gonna be diving more into that kind of stuff in 2026.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, I'm so excited to bring more content for communication. Um, how do we get through the highs and the lows of marriage? Because as much as wedding planning feels like we have gone through, you know, that finish line, the truth is that is the starting line for your marriage. So um bringing on experts in the industry and communication and relationships, so excited for those things. So our listeners can really um they, you know, they don't have to say goodbye. We don't have to say goodbye. So we want you to come back.

SPEAKER_00:

We're gonna bring more.

SPEAKER_01:

We really want to add value to people's lives when it comes to their relationship, healthy conversations, healthy marriages, um, create healthy families, which are healthy communities, which give us a healthy world. So that is really I know.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm excited. We have a lot of stuff. We have um also some different tools coming that are also gonna be available in the works for you guys who are planning to just help it make it even that much easier. Obviously, we know that you guys love to listen in, but have something physical to help you through the planning process.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely. Yep. When it comes to budgeting, maybe venue tours, yes, um, your timeline building, let's get the tools not just um in your ears, but also in your hands. So I love that for our guests. Yes.

SPEAKER_00:

That's gonna be a good year.

SPEAKER_01:

Um attending some weddings. We we love being part of weddings and um even our conversations in the um in our DMs, you know, people advice when they ask simple questions. I love being available to our fans.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, yes. Please send in DMs. We are here to help. Um Instagram stories, that's what we're here. We want to make this as easy as possible, the planning process, and to make it more fun than um hard for the people planning.

SPEAKER_01:

So yes, um, in 2025 we had some couples on, and that was so fun to talk through the wedding planning. Um, we also had a really fun Friendsgiving with some guests, and they are getting married in 26. And I would love to recap and loop back around with them to be able to see how did it go.

SPEAKER_00:

I know. I I want that too. And I think um definitely doing more. We could do like a Galantine's or something. There's so many holidays that we like can incorporate and bring some fun stuff in.

SPEAKER_01:

So we love the holidays. We do. I love a good holiday. Excuse to throw a party, throw a party, yes.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, so there's definitely lots to come, and it's gonna be a great year, yes, and all of the upcoming trends are amazing.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, we just did an episode on upcoming trends for 26, and we are be sure to listen to that because we're already hearing those trends, are they're coming in, they're coming in hot.

SPEAKER_00:

So it's gonna be good. I'm excited for 2026. I think there's gonna be some things that stay, but a lot of change in the wedding world, and we're gonna see a lot of different things um either come or go. So I'm excited. Yes.

SPEAKER_01:

So we have a big vision for the wedding hive podcast, and we have never shared it with our listeners. Would you be interested in sharing it with them today?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, I would love to. So obviously at the wedding high podcast, our vision is to be the most trusted, uplifting, and reliable space where couples, creators, and wedding pros can come together to learn, laugh, and feel supported through every phase of the wedding journey. And then um, we also just want to make sure that we are here to educate, inspire, connect with the wedding community by sharing meaningful experiences, practical guidance, and heartfelt conversations that help couples feel seen, supported, and excited as they plan one of the biggest days of their lives.

I love that. And truly, our mission is to grow a 50,000 plus wedding community through the expert insight, creator partnership, and live storytelling. As much as we sound like it's about us, it is genuinely about these brides. It's about the people um in our community. We love our listeners, we love our social media, our social media um following.
