Surviving Narcissistic Abuse with Jill Wise
Surviving Narcissistic Abuse with Jill Wise is a podcast dedicated to helping survivors understand, heal from, and ultimately overcome the devastating psychological effects of narcissistic abuse. In each episode, Jill explores the complex dynamics of narcissistic relationships, including manipulation tactics, trauma bonds, gaslighting, and the long term impact of emotional abuse.
Jill Wise is a trauma informed narcissistic abuse recovery coach and a lifelong survivor of narcissistic abuse herself. She was raised by a malignant narcissistic father, and later married a malignant narcissist and had a child with him. Her life was profoundly impacted by years of psychological abuse, including the parental kidnapping and severe parental alienation involving her son, which led to more than a decade of painful family court battles.
Through thoughtful discussion, psychological insight, and compassionate guidance, Jill helps listeners make sense of what they experienced, break free from trauma bonds, and begin rebuilding their confidence, identity, and peace of mind.
If you have ever questioned your reality, struggled to understand narcissistic behavior, or wondered how to truly heal after abuse, this podcast will offer clarity, validation, and hope.

Surviving Narcissistic Abuse with Jill Wise
Inside the Delusional Mind of a Narcissist
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode, we’re diving deep into one of the most disturbing and misunderstood aspects of narcissistic abuse—the delusional mindset that drives it. Narcissists don’t just behave in harmful ways… they operate from a completely distorted version of reality, and over time, they will try to pull you into that reality with them.
We’re going to break down the most common delusions narcissists believe, from expecting you to read their mind, to believing they are entitled to control, loyalty, and even the right to mistreat you without consequence. And more importantly, we’re going to talk about how these beliefs slowly condition you to question yourself, override your instincts, and accept things you never would have accepted before.
Because this is how the abuse works. It’s not just what they do—it’s what they convince you to believe.
If you’ve ever found yourself apologizing for things you didn’t do, taking responsibility for their behavior, or feeling like you’ve lost your sense of reality in the relationship, this episode is going to bring clarity to what you experienced.
And once you see it clearly, you can’t unsee it.
This episode will help you understand the psychological trap, break free from the confusion, and begin reconnecting with your own reality, your own instincts, and your own truth.
