Have you ever wondered what an Oracle card is or how to use them? Maybe you're wanting to use them for yourself for daily messages, or maybe you're wanting to use them for friends and family. Oracle cards aren't actually about predicting the future. They're more of a mirror of your intuition and your higher self. In this episode, I'm gonna walk you through exactly how I use them to receive messages and to deepen self-trust and to better help communicate to my clients. Hi everyone. Welcome back to the Ultra Aligned Podcast. I hope you are all doing well. As always, in today's episode, I'm gonna talk about Oracle cards and how I use them. Now, I'm gonna try to keep this episode a little bit shorter because I do like to talk and my episodes can get a little bit lengthy sometimes, so I'm gonna shoot for this one to be a little bit shorter today. So an Oracle card. What is it? An Oracle card. If you've ever heard of tarot cards, same family, just a little bit different. They're a divination tool to help psychics, mediums, whoever you are, use them for messages or to help communicate messages. In a way that has a more physical sense to it, I guess you can say. So how I use them, I like to say that they're my table of contents. I like to pull cards for people during my readings, um, to help get an idea of how the reading is going to go, and so I'll also use them for myself. Now, this can be kind of controversial. I've heard people say different things about Oracle cards. I honestly, I love them. I've used them. I'll pull them every day. I'll pull a card every day. Sometimes I'll pull five cards, 10 cards. It really just depends on the intuitive feeling that I get when I'm pulling cards that day. And so I'll use them. I'll pull a card and I'll kind of get an idea of how the day's gonna go, or current themes that are happening in my life that keep coming up that I may not be paying attention to. And so I like to use them that way for myself, but again, for the client, I will pull them and I will get certain hits off of each card, whatever it may be, to better communicate with the client. So one, for example, that just pops up in my mind. There's a card. In John Hollands, the psychic tarot deck. And I know you're thinking, Claire, you just said you don't like tarot. It's not that I don't like tarot, but it's an Oracle deck. It's just called the psychic tarot deck. I don't know, but I really like this deck. Um, and there's one card specifically. And it's a guy like taking a mask off, but the words say deception and envy, but I've never associated that card with deception and envy. I actually go off the picture of the guy taking the mask off as either the client. Myself needing to take the mask off of who they really are and who they really are meant to be. And more so, like, for example, if I were pulling it, maybe I am scared to share a certain part of myself or share, um, certain knowledge or wisdom that I may want to share that card when I pull it is my like. Hey, this is your message to take that mask off and show people who you really are. And so that one specifically is one that pops up quite a bit. And so the Oracle cards for me are really just getting an interpretation off the image or off the words, or maybe the numbers.'cause there's numbers on the cards too. So. Now, certain myths with Oracle cards is that they are a, psychic teller, fortune teller, whatever it may be, that they're gonna predict your future. I know there's, in tarot, traditional tarot, there's like the death card in Oracle cards, there's like an ending card, whatever it may be. I know that can be kind of scary. Like, holy cow, I just got like the death card. I'm, am I gonna die? Like what's gonna happen to me? I have never interpreted it that way. I've never gotten messages of someone passing or like going to pass, like in any way, like the client, nothing like that. My interpretation of a card like that is the death of an old way. So maybe old habits, maybe old relationships, the death of an old way, and so that you can come into, and you can be born again into this. New way of thinking, or this new way of acting, or doing whatever it may be. So they're not a fortune teller. They're not gonna, you're not gonna pull a card and it's not set in stone that that's gonna happen. It's more or less just to help guide you to use, you know, to use as a tool to help guide you through your day or your life, whatever it may be, whatever way resonates the most with you. I love using them as a guide because it kind of. Again, it's not set in stone, but it can kind of give me an idea of what might come up that day. Um, an example of this is there's a card in the, in John Holland's deck that says, stand your ground. And I've actually pulled that a couple times. And sure enough, that day something will come up or some someone will try to talk down on me, or someone will try to like put me in my quote, unquote, put me in my place or whatever it may be. And I'll, I'll think back to that car and remember, okay, stand your ground. Stand your ground. Um, and, you know, communicate, you know, what you feel or what you think. And make sure that you're coming from a place of respect and honesty and transparency. So. That's how I use my Oracle cards. And again, you can use them as daily check-ins, weekly check-ins, monthly, yearly, whatever you wanna use them for. I think they're an amazing tool. I think they are. Really, really helpful if you use them correctly. Now, a few ways that you could be using them incorrectly is if you pull a card and you're like, no, this is not the card I want. Put it back in. Keep pulling cards until you get the cards you want. That's obviously not gonna work. It really is that intuitive pull for whatever card you get. That's, that's the card you get. Don't keep putting'em back in. And until you pull the card you want, that's not gonna work. And so, um, each deck too also has a different energy to it, a different vibe to it. So I really, really recommend going with a deck that you feel energetically called to and intuitively called to, uh, every Oracle deck I have, I have gotten it. Just not because like it looked pretty or whatever, but I was really drawn to that deck and that's why I got it. And each deck comes with a little workbook that will give you a description of each card. Um, you can use this. I do recommend going off the intention or the interpretation that you get as soon as you pull the card, because if you pull a card and you have a quick, like, in, like quick hit on something and then you go and read the workbook and it says something else, you're like, well, maybe it means like what the workbook said. No, no, no. Go off. What that quick message was that you got, like that quick, um, interpretation that you got because it doesn't always have to do with like what the workbook says. It's going to. Sometimes it does. Sometimes if I didn't understand what a card meant, I would read the workbook and see if it fit, but never force a card to fit. If it doesn't resonate, don't force it. It's not meant to be forced. And so making sure that you're using them intuitively. Not as a, this is going to dictate how, dictate how my life goes, how my day goes, whatever it may be. Just use them as a tool. Just use them as like a gentle little guiding tool that helps you throughout your day. It can kind of give you an idea of how things might go or not at all. It's. Simply what resonates with you and the interpretations that you get. And so I really recommend when people are starting to use Oracle cards. Start with yourself and pull a card in the, in the morning, just pull a card. One card, whatever it is, leave that card out and set the intention that by the end of the day you'll come back and you, you'll have an idea of what that card might have, might have been drawn for, or like a certain instance that happened that day that you're like, oh. That makes sense for that instance. And so start using'em that way and just do one at a time and build up that muscle, that repetitive muscle on how to use the Oracle cards. You can even start using them for other people. Pull card for a spouse or for a friend, or for a child, or for a mother, whomever. Pull card and then just, you know, pick up what you feel off of it. Whatever resonates with you or whatever interpretation you get. Share that with that person. See if it resonates. If it does, great. If it doesn't, great, you're gonna have to build up that muscle. Just kinda like with psychic abilities on how to use the Oracle cards. So. Again, that's kind of how I used them. That's how I learned to use them, was to pull them for myself and to not read too much into them. You know, still take them with a grain of salt, but you can use'em as a really cool guiding tool. And so, in closing, just a little recap again, Oracle cards are an amplifier, not a set in stone. Decision maker. So use them to amplify those intuitive hits, those intuitive polls. Don't use them as a, this is is how it is going to happen. This is set in stone, so I really encourage you, again, to start small. Start with one card. Start with one card for one person or for yourself. Just start small, build up those reps and see what happens. And so I really encourage you to pick a deck that really calls to you that really resonates with you and to start working with it. And you can, um, when you get your deck, you can shuffle them to clear them. You can set them out in the moonlight or the sunlight to clear them to clear the energies. I always like when I get my, when I get my cards, I always like to shuffle them. Shuffling, kind of clears out that old energy, I've had instances where I've pulled cards and I haven't actually shuffled them from previous readings, and I'll get, I will get cards that don't make any sense and don't resonate at all with me. And I can tell they don't resonate at all with me. And then I'll remember that past reading and it resonates a lot with that reading. And so I'll shuffle them quite a few times to kind of disperse that energy to get that energy out. And I'll set the intention for the deck to bring through highest messages for my good, my highest good, whatever I need to receive today. And make sure that it is for me or for whomever you are pulling a card for. And so if you end up getting Oracle cards of your own or you start using them, whatever it may be, I would love to hear from you. You can send me a DM on Instagram. You can send me an email to theultraalignedpodcast@gmail.com. You can send me a picture or I would love to hear from you and I would love to see how your. Card pulling journey and your Oracle or tarot card journey goes for you. So with that being said, I'm gonna close out today's episode. I hope you all have an amazing day wherever you are, and I will see you next time on the Ultra Aligned Podcast. Bye guys.
