Streetlights, Sharks, and Summer Break

Summer is officially here, and the guys are celebrating by remembering when the season actually felt endless. Dan, Noel, and Jared look back on the freedom of the last day of school, disappearing on bikes until the streetlights came on, digging pointless holes, starting questionable fires, getting bikes stolen, and making the kinds of childhood decisions that somehow did not end in disaster.

Then the debate moves to everything that makes summer great, uncomfortable, or potentially dangerous. Lake, ocean, or pool? Soft serve or hard ice cream? Waffle cone or the weird cardboard-looking one? The guys also discuss overcrowded water parks, suspicious pool water, irrational shark fears, jellyfish, leeches, freezing lakes, river tubing disasters, sharp rocks, water shoes, and why jumping into unfamiliar water is rarely a smart idea.

Plus, Dan shares the story of nearly losing a shoe at the bottom of a river, Noel explains why everyone waits until the hottest day of the year to fix their air conditioning, and the group tries to determine whether humidity, heat, or stupidity is the real problem with summer.

It is a nostalgic, chaotic, and completely unfiltered trip through summer vacations, childhood freedom, beaches, pools, ice cream, cookouts, and all the strange memories that come rushing back when school lets out.
