Upon the Cross, we find the essence of our faith - not an optional add-on, but a necessary remedy for our brokenness. Just as Nicodemus sought Jesus in the night, we too must seek Him as the only solution to our sin. John 3:14-21 reminds us that Jesus, lifted up like the bronze snake, offers eternal life to all who believe.

Sin is serious, taking us further than we want to go. Love is costly, shown by God giving His Son for us. Justice must be satisfied, and Jesus is the only way. The cross confronts our hearts, demanding surrender and humility.

The cross wasn't optional - it was essential for our redemption. Today, make it personal. Stop trying to fix yourself and step into the light of Jesus. Embrace the cross, for it was necessary for your salvation. Will you respond and make the cross essential in your life?
