Hidden Chapters: Real Stories that Bring Light to the Hidden Parts of Life
Behind every put-together exterior is a chapter most people never see.
If youโve ever felt alone in your own story, especially in the middle of it, this is a place where those unseen chapters are spoken out loud.
Not the version that made it onto a stage. Not the polished takeaway or the neatly packaged lesson.
Hidden Chapters is a storytelling podcast that goes back further. To the grief that didnโt come with a lesson yet. The identity crisis in the middle of the night. The fear, the silence, the in-between, the raw and unresolved moments most people donโt talk about.
Hosted by Genevieve Kruger, each episode invites guests to share the parts of their story that are often left out. Not because the ending doesnโt matter, but because most of us are still living in the middle, and that part deserves its own space.
This is a show about the messy, complicated, tender, and deeply human parts of life that rarely get airtime because they donโt fit neatly into the stories we present to the world.
Hidden Chapters exists to honor the stories we don't always see, so you don't feel alone in yours.

Hey there, Genevieve here from Hidden Chapters. I wanted to take a moment between seasons to share some exciting news and give a little update for the launch of Season 2 in about two weeks. So here's the exciting news. This week, we hit over a thousand downloads! And we've only been doing this for three short months. Can you believe that? I'm honestly feeling emotional, in shock, and almost in disbelief. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Each download is someone choosing to take a moment to listen, reflect, and connect, and many of them are people I'll probably never meet and places I will never get to visit. What blows me away is seeing listeners tuning in from Canada, Ottawa, Fonthill, Mitchell, St. Catharines, and Vancouver, Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, Nigeria, Thank you for letting me be part of your story. So while we're on a little season break, I wanted to give you a peek behind the mic at what's coming in season two. I've been busy, really busy, working every day and reading a lot. I'm interviewing some newly published authors, but we're not just talking about their books. I'll be going behind their written chapters to uncover the stories that didn't make it onto the pages. I'm also bringing a personal but very special conversation about my husband's newly published book, Walking Away from the Ledge. We're going to be diving into a more honest conversation and the hidden chapters behind his words. Beyond that, we've got new guests from different cultural backgrounds sharing their unique experiences, challenges, and the hidden parts of their lives that we don't often see. And I'm bringing a few solo and mini episodes from me. I'll be sharing more soon, but I wanted you to be the first to know what's coming next. And I'm really excited about some new ways for us to connect in season two. First, if you'd like to help keep Hidden Chapters going and support the production of the show, there's a link to buy me a coffee in the show notes. Totally optional, but it's a sweet way to help me keep creating these stories. Second, I've set up Speakpipe, which lets you send me a 90-second voice message. You can share your thoughts, your reflections, say hi, or even share your own story. And I might feature them, with your permission, or respond on the podcast. I can't wait to hear from you. And third, I just recently joined Substack, where I'm sharing more of my own hidden chapters behind the mic and reflections that didn't make it into the episodes. My hope is to continue conversations with you there about each episode from this season or even last season that resonated with you. So again, I just want to say thank you. You listening, sharing, and connecting, it's what makes this podcast really matter. I can't wait to come back with season two and continue exploring those hidden chapters together. A heartfelt shout out again to all of my recent listeners in Canada. Ottawa, Fonthill, Mitchell, St. Catharines in Vancouver, Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, Nigeria, and Frankfurt, Germany, as well as all my listeners from across the world and the United States. Thank you for being here. I promise I am going to celebrate this because it's validation that what I am doing matters. People are connecting and Hidden Chapters is making an impact. Until the next chapter, with more stories to uncover.
