Badass Women of America
Wild West - Women Stagecoach Drivers
Stagecoach drivers had the hardest job at the time. Blizzards, rain, wind, bandits, and predators plagued their routes. Driving a six-horse team through the night these women were determined to deliver the passengers, mail and supplies even if it meant traversing unforgivable conditions.
Kit and Sherlock talk about two brave women who were the best-of-the-best stagecoach drivers. Brave and revered by the townspeople whom they provided essentials for living in the Wild West. Mary Fields and Charlie Parkhurst were the fierce women of the west who linked a connection between civilization and the newly populated American Wild West.
