The Cancer Cipher is a term I started to use once I was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer spread to my bones because it was difficult to understand all of the information concerning my diagnoses. I felt overwhelmed, stressed, and on emotional overload trying to understand all of the aspects of my cancer diagnosis. Therefore, my goal and mission with this Podcast are to help and encourage people as we all navigate through this cancer journey by:
* Helping people by providing insights on living with breast cancer through personal stories and experiences
* Discuss breast cancer basics and advanced knowledge
* Preventative health and life strategies while understanding medical treatments

Episode 1 The Cancer Code, Sharon Speaks
My name is Sharon, and I have finally gained the courage to talk about living with stage IV metastatic breast cancer, A doctor told me that I should be dead by now, but I am still here, so I am sharing my story to help other people. I lived with the shame and guilt of having cancer and I named the podcast The Cancer Code because I was so confused about my diagnosed, testing, treatments, etc. No one gives you a handbook and tells you what to expect when you have caner, so it is my mission to help people learn how to be their own advocate and learn how to survive this brutal disease. All stories are of my personal journey and experiences, but I will have guests join me to talk about different types of cancer and how it affected their lives. My desire is to take fear out of the word cancer and empower people to live.
