And William going deep. Sanders beach, hay Sanders out in front. 80 yards. Touchdown. Hello, sports fans, crew. Third down, short two. Long one from the 28th, William.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908welcome to another edition of the Head on Free podcast. It is Super Bowl weekend. A number of us before this season started predicted Washington to be in the Super Bowl. As we know that is not the case. So instead today we have a lot of fun with James and Lee joining me for the first part of the podcast. And then Brett, Brett Chat Sports podcast has joined for a brief chat about the game tomorrow as a Patriots fan. But as we're not talking anything Washington before we would go to one of my Anne James's great joys in life, which is trivia. And Lee is very, very kindly, whilst he's quite busy, I believe at work, managed to carve out some time to do some trivia. So thank you very much Lee. And also, hello, happy weekend and happy three points of Rip Switch.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Hello, Josh. Hello Sports fans. Great win this morning for For a switch. That's a good start to the Super Bowl weekend. holiday weekend for all of us as we have, what a nice Monday to not worry about, work to look forward to as well. Um, so yeah, can't wait. Actually listen in the middle of the week to a couple of podcasts and I'm now in the mood for Super Bowl. I'm now in the mood and I, I actually think it's gonna be a sneaky good game. So I'm, I'm ready for tomorrow, but also ready to talk, some Washington News after some, some hard hitting news yesterday. But the celebration of a great life of won the all time greats for Washington.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah, we're talking about, and let's do that quickly now as you mentioned it. So unfortunately, Sonny Jergenson passed away, age 91, uh, hall of Fame quarterback, who, if people aren't aware, had one of those weird careers where he was just split pretty much 50 50 between two teams. Um, drafted out of Duke as a quarterback by the Eagles. So he played the first eight years of his career in Philly, seven or eight years, and then the remainder of his career, 10 years in Washington. Um, pretty rare these days to play for two teams for that, long for both of them, and be beloved by both franchises. Which Sonny was, um, a standup guy and a hell of a quarterback. Uh, and one of the few numbers that we obviously in Washington have retired, um, won an FL championship with Philly in 1960. He's a two time all pro first team, two time, second team all pro. Um, he led the league in pass in five times, touchdowns twice, just a, a fantastic quarterback for the league for our franchise. Sad news that he passed away. Um, Lee, I'm assuming you as well as me, knew Sonny a lot from his radio work, uh, in the booth, which he did for many years. Uh, after his playing career with Sam, half the other hall of Famer.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah, that's the thing. As a, as a Washington fan, you obviously know of Sonny Jerson when you hear about the history of the team. And even an NFL fan will obviously know the name, but an incredible player. But for us, he was still very much part of our era as well.'cause of those radio calls, he'd done well into his eighties. And I remember him always joking with great, um, Jay Gruin about the, the fades that he used to throw to the, to the back corner of the end zone. But, uh, an incredible character, an incredible life. Um, made it all the way to his nineties. So a historic figure in, in the city and, and around the, the game, of course.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Absolutely. He was good fun in his later years on, on the radio coverage as well. It's worth listening to, um, JP Finley's radio show yesterday. They did a big segment on it. It's worth kind of going back to that if people haven't heard, lots of people phoned in and did stories about Sonny, including Lee. Actually, a story that, um, if I've got time I'll clip it in, but if not, go and find it of, uh, Sonny and Sam h getting into a. Fire at Soldier Field throwing, throwing punches and beer cans at someone on the back row who was giving it to them back in, back in the, uh, late nineties. So, uh, a bit of Chicago action there for you.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Nice. That will please James as
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906know, getting into it with Bears fans. So how are you, James this morning?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah, I'm here as well. Um, yeah, I'm right. Lee, I have a question for you'cause you mentioned in our chat yesterday you went to upgrade your phone. You had some trouble in the uh, apple store, so I've been kind of picturing that and you in a busy Apple store maybe getting a bit stressed. So I'd call out to hear about more of that before we dig in.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906yeah, I did, I did say will know about this. My, my phone wasn't charging particularly well over the Christmas period and I had to use one of those, like charging pads rather than the, the, the wire cable. And I made it all the way through January doing that because I just had it on my desk at work and overnight because I hate stuff like getting a new phone because of, I'm just impatient and,'cause
james_1_02-07-2026_150907No.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906all the time. If you, if you do it by mail, you know, you have to sign for it and it'll never come when I'm there, then you have to box up your old phone if you, all that kind of stuff. If you've trading it in, it's like, I'm just gonna get it done. But I put it off for like four weeks, but this week I, I went into the T-Mobile store and it was. A lot of fun, you know, after work, right in the center of Chicago, two people working, about 15 people in there to get assistance for various things from that have lost their charger to people asking some stupid questions, to people wanting an EI, I was the only one that was actually gonna worthwhile, you know, getting an extended contract and an upgrade. I, I think I waited at least, you know, like when you're like, I'll just walk out, but you were too far in. Do you know what I mean? So I
james_1_02-07-2026_150907In too deep.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906was there for like 40 minutes and I was getting angrier and
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906anyway, to be fair to the guy who was serving at least 10 people at once, to be fair to him, he did, um, keep the store open to get, to get me squared away. So I am the proud owner of the latest iPhone and all my, my, um, previous data, et cetera, transfer over. So to get it done in one go, perfect. The ends justify the means of, uh, making it like a 12
james_1_02-07-2026_150907So Yeah. Right.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906you,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Good, good news story then. Um, yeah, it's a problem when you're in one of those shops because there is no quick query in front of you. So you're often waiting quite a while on some sort of sofa.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah. Sofa. That'd been nice. It it is. like a skit though with the different people that were coming in there. And rather than just having people to wait, they would just kind of coming in and shouting at these poor stuff, really? And just, I only need a charger. I only need a charger. Um, how about this? How about that? And I'm like,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Wait, wait. Your turn at the Genius Bar. I hate that setup. I could do a whole thing on on that set. A hot take on that setup is ridiculous.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907in the off season
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Well, it's hot.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906non-football
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah. That'll be
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908It's right.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906but real quick on that, I'm, I'm a person that just wants to get it done rather than wait for something
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yes.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906in the mail and sign for it. If I'm not all that stuff, just, I, I'd rather take the two hours of pain than like five steps to get what you need, if you know what I mean.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906there you go.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah. yeah, glad to get that out in the open and just get to the bottom of that.'cause that has been, uh, bugging
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908That's it.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907since yesterday. Um, but yeah, super Bowl week, I said to Josh, it's taken me a while to actually get into this because spent so long wishing the season away from what we're watching, but listen to a few podcasts this week and, um, we obviously got a few plans tomorrow, so looking forward to it and ready to go.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yes, our plan, it's gone
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Oh, uh oh. Sorry. I know we've got a lot to get to, but can you tell me about your plans really quick? Because it's always been a bar in London, various different football bars or you you've seen to pick a new place every year. But this is out of the city, correct.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908very much so it's in, uh, it's technically Cambridge Share, I think.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Is it?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I think so. Or is it Essex? I dunno, actually, lemme have a look. Um, saffron Walden, uh, which is almost like halfway between London and Ipswich, making it a bit fairer for those of us in the fantasy league who always go down from Ipswich to London to a bar, um, are reigning. Loser, Pete managed to do some excellent work, finding a place big enough and decent enough for us all to watch the game together. So we're at a big house. I'll send you the linky actually. You'll like it. I think. Have a look at the cinema room and the hot tub and all this.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Um, there is one little quirk there, isn't there, Josh? That, um, there are some Harry Potter themes throughout the house for
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908There are, yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907so I dunno how, how that's gonna fare. Uh, yeah, there is a hot tub. There is a cinema, cinema room. Um, there is someone that's been named the Champions Lounge, where previous fancy winners will be able to have a drink.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Both of us included.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907anyone who hasn't won won't be allowed in that room.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906So I need, I need a lot of, um, photos
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the evening. So this, if there's just some big Airbnb with
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906bedrooms or
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Exactly that. Yes, yes.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I think there's a lot of, there's probably some bunk bed situations in there as well. I think probably
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906you organi, are you organized for all the beer and stuff? Or you have, you found a store nearby, et cetera?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I've not,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the food situation,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907lot going on there. Someone is pre preparing some pool pork, I believe. Um, there is a domino's nearby for anyone's pizza needs.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Few Sunday pubs, lots of pubs in the area.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907plenty of pubs. Um. So, yeah, I think, I think we're good to
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908We're all, we're all set. Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907some, uh, controversy and debate over the parking situation, but
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907won't waste time with that. I've, we've already wasted enough time
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yes. Fucking hell yeah. Let's move swiftly on.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907you.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908We are very, we're very excited though. It's g it is gonna be nice to not be, uh, stumbling outta a bar at 4:00 AM after being annoyed at various groups of idiots. Instead, we'll all be together in a house being idiots, which is much better
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Just annoyed at
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908probably, I must admit. Uh, no. Very excited. Um, James la last thing before we do the kickoff of trivia, we're just delaying Lee's moment to shine here, but, um, I've sent you, uh, in our group chat, I've sent a, a video highlight that I found of Sly Jergenson completing a behind the back pass in 1961. So if you haven't seen much of Sonny, that's the style of guy that he was. So it's worth having a look because that
james_1_02-07-2026_150907this, I saw this yesterday and I
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Ah, nice. Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907so I was like, oh, this was happening in the seventies or sixties, whatever it was. So, yeah, I'll probably have another look into that. I saw he was doing some casual phrase on practice field, like he's gonna throw it then, like the velocity on the
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907the back pass as well. Insane.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Crazy in that era, right? Um, Lee, you got one more thing? Sorry. God. Oh, I thought you raised, I thought you, I thought you raised your hand in, in, like, in, as, in to trying to interject or something else. Okay.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907massive
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Just des
james_1_02-07-2026_150907there
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Desperate,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Lee interjecting.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908desperate to, uh, to kick on with his Super Bowl weekend trivia. Um, I am going purely off my own
james_1_02-07-2026_150907this.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908vibes. I've done no prep for this. I'm excited and scared.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I sort of did when Lee put the in, but I don't retain knowledge too well as just a general rule, so we'll see.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906We're ready to go then. Exciting stuff. James. I'm glad you've done some, some homework. I did put the four rounds in. So overview. There will be four different rounds for the quiz. There will be five questions in each. There'll be different amount of points for various questions. total is 31. A little bit of a, um, well, I'm gonna give you both basically one lifeline here. So essentially. You can each ask for a clue on any given question. So you just have to stop the quiz and say, I need a clue. I will WhatsApp you to your phone. That clue so the other person doesn't get the clue. If that
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Are we WhatsApping you our answers or I shall I not interrupt?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906no. I'll just, I'll just do it on, um, at the
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah. All right.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I think, James, your, your mic has got a bit of feedback on, can you hear that, Josh? I might,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I reckon it's you, mate.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Sorry, I was on mute as well. No, I think it's fine.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908so, so we're gonna, I'm gonna type out my answers then, so we get, and at the end we, okay.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906And for anyone playing at home, we'll do the answers all at the
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Okay.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906that you can just pause the, um, pause the podcast if you wanna join in with this Fun Field Super Bowl episode. Okay. So let's get into it then. So the first round. is gonna be, uh, the category of players and teams. And this is gonna be all about Super Bowl or the last 10 years of Super Bowl history, starting from the Pat's Seahawks last Super Bowl, which was January, 2015. February, 2015, sorry. Okay, are we ready? Write your answers down. So one point is available for the first question. Now, when you need the clue, you can only do it on a question that's worth one point, not on another question that's worth multiple points.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Okay.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906keep that in mind. Okay? Okay. Question
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Rules.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Ready to go?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Sunday's big game is a rematch of Super Bowl 49, when the Patriots and Seahawks once again take the field. The last encounter will be remembered for Malcolm Butler's interception at the goal line. However, super Bowl MVP Tom Brady threw four touchdown passes that. Grant caught one of those in the second quarter. Can you name any of the other three of the New England touchdown scorers, any of the others? Uh, one point
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yes.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I know who Josh
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah. You, you,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907and it's the one I'm going to as well,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908uh, fine. I can't remember. I'll try and find another one. There's a bit of inside,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I did, hope we didn't make this too
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908no inside joke on that one. Just the one of my favorite ever fantasy players. I just draft him every year, even though he wasn't that good.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906uh, there you go. Okay. In the last decade, two divisions in the A FC have not sent a team to the Super Bowl, and one in the NFC has not produced a conference champion either. Can you name them? There's a point for each. So three points up for graphs. I'll
james_1_02-07-2026_150907can you repeat that?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906on that. Yep. So essentially, um, I need the two divisions where the A FC have not had a Super Bowl representative and the one NFC division where the Super Bowl has not had a representative and that's going back to the last 10 years. This
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh God.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906write, write that down as well.'cause you can probably think about that throughout. There'll be some more quick fire ones, but I'll let you think for a little bit on that. And obviously you've got great podcasting editing skills if we need
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah. Yeah. No, it's all good. Good question.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906and these, this is why it took a long time to do,'cause I didn't nick questions from a quiz. I actually created it myself. You see? So
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Custom.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906there,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I am.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906one question I did steal'cause it was good actually, but. Okay. I'm gonna move on to the next one. Just write that one down so you can think throughout. If you needed some extra time, we can uh, we can do it
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908can't,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906rounds.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908really gonna bug me. Move on. Move on.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah. In the last 10 years, there was one defensive Super Bowl MVP. Who was it? The last 10 years, there was only one Super Bowl defensive. MVP. Who was it? And remember, a is available at any time individually for one point answers, 20 questions total. Most of'em are one point answers, but we've got maybe another four that are not
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Okie got that.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906in Super Bowl 57. The Chief Speedy Eagles in a high scoring affair. One of the biggest plays in the Chief's comeback win included the longest punt return in Super Bowl history of 65 yards. Although he didn't score, Mahomes was set up for an important touchdown named the chief's wide receivers that made that play in Super Bowl 57. The Chief's be the Eagles, the longest punt return in Super Bowl history, yards. Sets up my homes named the chief's wide receiver who returned the ball one point and clues are available individually if needed.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908You really wanna see? He's a clue, don't you?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907nailed it, mate.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Have you got it?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah. Fucking right
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Uh, I got between two people. I can't remember who it was.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I could be wrong. Probably wrong.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Josh, do you need it or are you
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I'm gonna, I'm gonna hold it. Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah. Don't, don't bottle it.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906The Patriots beat the Rams in the lowest scoring Super Bowl of all time in Atlanta in 2019. Gronk caught a vital diving catch in the fourth quarter, and Julian Edelman was MVP, but who scored the games only touchdown. That will complete the round
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Oh,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906and teams
james_1_02-07-2026_150907that.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Got it. I think
james_1_02-07-2026_150907fuck.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908maybe, actually, I'm not sure.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Mm. Uh, let's go down that route.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906clue. Available
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Mm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906anyone that needs it. Last chance on
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Now I think I'm gonna need my clues for later rounds.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Um,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Is it alu per roundly? What's the clue?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906No. No, because that'll take too long. So essentially you now have 15 questions left. Let me just count how many questions are only one point. So that will give you a chance. One, two,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh, don't, yeah. No. The one I wanted was a, was the division one anyway, so I sort it Can't believe I can't get that one.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907that.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I think you've got nine, nine questions available to use a
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Okay. Oh wait, I'll save it.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907So the, that division one, so I got the question right, is, so first is a FC two divisions that haven't had a Super Bowl participant in the last 10 years.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907the same for the NFC South, but one division.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906one in the
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906haven't
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Got you.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Uh, but two in the A FC haven't
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906and that's in the last 10 years. But that's not to say that 11 years ago
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906both
james_1_02-07-2026_150907yeah,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906you know what I mean?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906we're just going from the last 10 years.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Hmm. Uh,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay, we will move on to round two. This is cities and venues, cities and venues. Name the city that has held the most Northernly Super Bowl.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907ever.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Name, yes, ever. Of all, all of this is all, all time. Name. The city that has held the most Northernly Super Bowl
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Hmm.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Okay. Okay.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Clues available if needed. Uh, where was the last Seahawks? Patriots Super Bowl.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Done my research on that one.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906There you go. Which city held the first ever Super Bowl? Super Bowl one was played in which
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Ah, Jesus.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908That's a good one.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907See son of a gum. No, can't be that.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Next question. This is a multiple point answer, so there's lots of points up for grabs here. Listen carefully to this one. So the Super Bowl has been held in 19 cities and over 25 stadiums, eight cities. Have held the game in multiple stadiums over the years. Note this would be a physically different arena, not the stadium with different naming rights, half a point for each
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Fuck.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907So we're naming eight cities here,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906that have held the
james_1_02-07-2026_150907twice
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906in the,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907more than two.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906not, no, not twice. Mul Cities have held the game like 10 times. But
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the question is of how does, how the game in different stadiums in the same city, at least one stadium in the same city?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907but
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906essentially,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907they can't, so they can be different stadiums in the same city.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I mean, I'll just repeat the
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah, you
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908That's the whole point.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Bowl, the Super Bowl has been held in 19 cities and over 25 stadiums, which eight cities have held the game. In multiple stadiums within the same city over the years.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907All right.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906So a physically different
james_1_02-07-2026_150907you.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906but in the same
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Got you.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906There's eight of the 19 metro areas or, or cities, um, that have held
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Set. This is not a clue that I'm asking for
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah. You can't have
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908clar. Oh no, I can't Clarifi clarification. Kind of.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Cities.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah. See, but they, so, so, okay. No, don't worry. I think, I think, I think I've got most of them.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907What,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Hmm. Chuck along, I'll just, I'll just keep writing.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908One of them, one, one of them's had free, I think,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Oh, yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908which is cool.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906couple. Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Clever boy over there.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay. And then the last question is, which state, which state has held the big game the most times? Which state has held the big game the most times? Probably quite clearly one of, or maybe one of three, but I forgot two.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I've got a good clue for that one if you need it.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908It is between two as I, I, I, I'm gonna wait for my clue. I think I'd be annoyed if I know the rest, but I doubt it. Excuse me.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Any repeats from that round?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Uh, no.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Um, what was the
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Uh, hold on.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Where's the first Super Bowl? Hold, so that one?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Correct. So that's half a point on that eight, uh, city ones, by the way. So four points total
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908That's a good one.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906are we good for the next round?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay. Red skins. What was the common denominator for both? I'm sorry? What was the unique common denominator for both of the skins Super Bowl winning seasons in the 1980s.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Uh oh yeah. No. Yeah. Cool.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I am gonna guess something here.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay, still a record to this day. The Redskins scored an incredible 35 points in the second quarter of their Super Bowl victory against the Broncos in 1988, who scored the first touchdown to start the frenzy?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908It's just unfair on James. He hasn't heard the intro to the show today, where you'll hear that commentary, I think. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that's the first one that I got there.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Oh.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I didn't realize, Josh, you're under the pressure already with the timing of this podcast editing, aren't you?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Sorry.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906You're under, you're under very
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah, yeah, yeah. It, it has to go out. It has to go. There won't be too many, um, fancy clips.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906No, no, for sure.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Some pre edits have been done.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay, so for this question, um, it's still only worth one point. So five players have played in all three of Gibb's championship teams winning teams. I need two of them for one point. No half points required. Five players have played in all of. The free Gibbs championship winning teams. I need two of them for one point.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908We can only guess too. Right?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yes. You can't, right? Five. You need two out the five. one of those was wrong, you then you wouldn't get any, any,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908uh, this is, sorry. This is one point total.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906point total.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Uh
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906two of the five
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908hmm. Oh,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906you need a clue. I probably only have four
james_1_02-07-2026_150907All right.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906later.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I've def, I think I've got one and then I've got the surname for one. I can't remember his first name, do
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Get it down there. Okay.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I'm going, I'm, yeah, I'm gonna start saving this clue too long, I think.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah. Uh, and then the next question is similar, but I need all of the a, all of the teams here for the one point. Can you name the free NFC Championship Opponents Washington defeated on the way to Super Bowl Glory.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907fuck
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Uh.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907right? I'm messaging you gimme a clearly message me, bastard.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906This is a
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Is it, or is it multiple? Is it.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Well, there's free answers, isn't there? So
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Right. Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906can give you a cl I can
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh, fucking terms, conditions.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906no, I'll give you a clue on one of them.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Do I have to get'em in order?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906No, no.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Okay. Okay, fine.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907this probably isn't a good use of my clue if you can,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906you're both running out basically.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907but that,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906there's multiple
james_1_02-07-2026_150907but, but
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906last
james_1_02-07-2026_150907if you're only gonna gimme a clue for one of the teams, that won't help me get a full point, so I'll just, um,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906why I was trying
james_1_02-07-2026_150907all right. Okay. All right.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906did.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907worry about it.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908can't think I'm good.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Joe Gibbs is still the only head coach in NFL history to win three Super Bowls with different callbacks. Can you name the quarterback of the free that did not win the MVP?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Hmm.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Um, I'll, I'll take the clue to make sure.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay, thank you.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908'cause I think, I think I know, but. I might as well use it now to make sure it's between two. Actually, I'm not a hundred percent sure.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I know, I know one that definitely did, so I'm just gonna pick between the other two.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay. It's coming your way, Josh.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Slow these new iPhones, aren't they?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Well, I had some clea ready to go. That's why I was trying
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Trying to figure out.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Heather. Okay.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906That's
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908okay. Nice. Yeah. Nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906to
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Thank you. Thank you.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay. Any repeats needed for that? Rounds?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Uh.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907actually, what was the second one?'cause all I've written down is clue, but I've not written anything
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907case I needed a clue.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906That is the first touchdown scorer in the second quarter
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I'm gonna need to
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906against.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907me on that one.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay. Sounds good. Perfect. Okay, so that gets us to the final
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh, that's, that's, that's no help.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay. Do you need any of the other questions repeated, because I actually have to check something very, very
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Nah, that's all right.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay. The, okay. Entertainment and other is the last round here. One point answer, multiple choice here.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906The average ticket price for Super Bowl one between the Packers and the chiefs adjusted for. Adjusted for inflation was$115,$815 or eight or five$85. The average ticket price for Super Bowl I, between the Packers and the chiefs adjusted for inflation was a hundred and fifteen, eight fifteen or 5 85.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Blow me thought James is gonna go where? Where was that one held? Just
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah, that'd been
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906been
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Oh yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906That'd have been perfect.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908it's expensive that.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906got, you might have got you might have got me. Um, okay, so no cheating on this one. So I've just, I've just checked my phone here. So this is up to date. What is the current cheapest ticket? To the Super Bowl on the platform. Tick pick, which includes fees. Is it$2,250? Is it$3,485 or is it$5,210? That is the day before the game getting price currently.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Okay.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906And then who headlined the halftime entertainment for the last Pat's Seahawks Super Bowl in 2015?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Hmm,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Who headlined the halftime entertainment for the Pat's Seahawks last Super Bowl encounter in 2015?
josh_1_02-07-2026_1509082015.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I've been interested to see what your clue was for this one.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907fucking wasted it,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I.
josh_1_02-07-2026_1509082015
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I don't really.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay, next question. As we're podding, I'll keep get through these. A. A beer, soft drinks and fast food company. Make up the top three when it comes to most purchased Super Bowl ads of all time. Can you name them all correctly for one point a beer, soft drinks, and fast food company. Make up the top three
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Okay.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906to most Super Bowl purchase ads of all times. I need them all for just the
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah. Must be
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908fast food. Was it the last one?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907be.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I don't You were confident a James.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah. I, I feel pretty confident about that one.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I called on two of them. I, I'm not confident on one.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906All right. Super Bowl is the second largest day for food consumption in the United States with Thanksgiving only being greater according to official data released by the National Chicken Council
james_1_02-07-2026_150907The fame, the famous NCC.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah. million pound measurement estimates. Approximately what number of individual wings are consumed throughout the country? Is it a million? Is it B 891 million or is it C 1.2 billion?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Now?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I'm just putting the answer I want it to be.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah, I think I'm matching you up.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907a world where there's 1.2
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah, yeah,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907on one single
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I hope so.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Love it. Okay. Now this is a bonus question and this is the big one.'cause it's available for six
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908cool.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906You get two points for the correct answer and then you get one bonus point for each of the four components of the second part of the question. Which quarterback has made it to the Super Bowl with four different head coaches? The only QB to ever do so, and you'll get one point per coach as well. Six point available.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907which quarterbacks made its Super Bowl four times with different coaches.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906It's, yeah, which, yeah, exactly. Which,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Jesus.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906has made it to two, to the Super Bowl with four different head cages. The question doesn't say he's only been to four, but that's the welling the question. Which quarterback has made it to the Super Bowl with four different head coaches? The only player to ever do so,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Good. Good, good, good question.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906and you get a bonus point for each of the coaches
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906a total of 31 maximum points.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I will do a quick shout out if any questions need repeated, and then we will, we'll go into the answers.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908How, how many cities in, in round two, you had the cities of how many there was that, um, have had different stadium? How many cities?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Uh yep. So the answer was eight cities and
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906half a half a point for
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I guess one,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907how many have I got?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I've got seven.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh, how many have I got for that? I'll pick one more.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906If anyone is playing along listening, then we will be going through the answers consecutively.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I suddenly just can't think of any teams or any fucking cities.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Get your key map out.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh, all right. It's what it's.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906let's go free. And then, um, if you need me to skip over and answer one of them to the end, we could do that. If you're still thinking, I guess
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906just'cause we had to rush it a little bit, but are you, are you guys good?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I am good for now.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay, let's get to question one. Do you have any of the other free touchdown scorers for. The Patriots outside of Gronk in that Super Bowl.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I have,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906it out.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I have my guy Julian Edelman.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Edelman.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908That's all I've got. I, I couldn't think of any of the others.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Uh, the other ones are Lafa and Danny Amandola.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh, nice.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908So that's a, that's a point. Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906yeah. Yeah. You just needed one for one point. Yeah. There's only one available. And then for the next one, we need the one NSC division. Any guesses there for no Super Bowl representatives? No, there plenty. Actually, Tampa
james_1_02-07-2026_150907yeah. Fuck me.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906made
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908North
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906North is correct. The last team was the Packers
james_1_02-07-2026_150907yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Tampa won it mate.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907yeah, they did.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906and then. In fact, the Saints would've actually completed most of the dway there. But they got that hose on that call, didn't they? And it's around. Um, how about the, A FC
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Definitely the south on this one.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906South is one point, uh, indie with the last team to make it with the South back in
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I'm not convinced there is another one.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I think you're wrong.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I, I was going,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908As in Lee,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah, I was going with the north, but they, they had someone recently and it can't be
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I put North, but I think it's,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907It can't be west'cause of chiefs.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908yeah, Bengals baby,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I think he's, I think he's fucked
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908his face.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906oh, no, the Bengals did. The Bengals were there.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh, nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908it anyway.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah, that's that's interesting Baltimore was the last team that it came up on my research. That must be incorrect. Anyway. Okay. One point each. That'd be much easier to have one in each division. did you
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I didn't, I didn't get both though, did I? I only got the FC one.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Did you put, okay, so you got the South right? For
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the last team there, um, than Packers in the north. Okay, cool. Did you get the MVP for the last 10
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yes. Mr. Vaughn Miller
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Perhaps the Washington
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908hell
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Did you get Aaron?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908yeah. I guess. Aaron. Donald? Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah. That, that would've actually been my guess. I just can't remember Vaughn Middle winning yet. That would've obviously
james_1_02-07-2026_150907was when he killed. Yeah. Was when he killed Cam Newton?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh yeah. Nice. Well done.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906And then the Super Bowl 57 punt returner for the Chiefs for that long punt return
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Do you know it, James?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh, I think so. Micko Hardman.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906incorrect.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Cade Caius, Tony.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Correct.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907what, okay, now
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908That was the two I was going between. I thought I'm gonna go for a bit of a gamble on Tony.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907was this? Sorry. Oh, it was only like
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Three years ago.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907years ago. Oh, yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906that was, that was, exactly. 2023, wasn't it? then, does anyone have the touchdown, the only touchdown scorer the Pat Ram Super Bowl?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907No, I, I don't think he even played for them at this point, but I'm just gonna go like La Garrett Blo or something.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Incorrect but good guess,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I also know it's a running back, but I think I've got it wrong. I guess James White, but he's the guy in the Atlanta one, wasn't he?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906good effort. I didn't know if I'd got this. It was Sony Michelle.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908it? Was it
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908how long ago?
james_1_02-07-2026_1509072019. That makes sense. Yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah. Nice.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Two good, two good guesses. I think
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908an annoying running backs.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907running back in that game, but,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908So what have I got four there? No. Do I get one point for the divisions?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Uh, you'll get
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908No, two. Okay, cool. Four, four for round one then.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah. good,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I got three.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Nice tight. Neck and neck.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906and cities and venues. Do you have the most Northernly Super Bowl?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I, I was going to, gonna ask for a clue, but then I was like, it's between two for me so I've gone Minneapolis.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I went Green Bay.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Uh, good answers. I didn't know if Green Bay's ever held one. I
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I dunno,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906So, Minneapolis is, uh, is a
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh wicked.'cause that old Detroit.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906on New York. New York, I guess, but.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906But yeah, Minneapolis, not far from the Canadian baller,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906correct answer. And the last, um, super Bowl, I think you both got this one, right? last Pat Seahawk Super Bowl.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Arizona. Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906The first ever Super Bowl was Howard in
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Guess James
james_1_02-07-2026_150907is it? Is it just Washington?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908la
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah, correct.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908co.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I thought it was the Yeah, it was, it was the, um,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah, it was the Coliseum. And then here comes the, the eight cities in 25, um, 20, sorry, eight cities that held it within two different stadiums. Do you want me to just read them out or do you wanna get Josh,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908We can go one for one. Let's go one for one. Oh, guess one. James has one. LA.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Correct. The most
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I also had la um, just thought of one, um, San Fran.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906No,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Miami
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Miami is correct. They
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Rose Bowl
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906it in an, in an older setting.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908or whatever it was,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Dallas,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906No,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908uh, Atlanta.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906no.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Uh,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Minnesota.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Correct. It was the old metro
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906and the new Viking stadium as well.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Uh,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906There's another similar one to that,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908new Orleans.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906that's actually correct.'cause they, Tulane held a Super Bowl.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh, did they? Oh, I didn't know that.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Huh? That was my, that was my wild card. Guess one at the end.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah, that's four.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907got two more on my list and I don't think they're right. One is Houston.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Houston is
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908it. Now
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Bowl held at at Rice
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908why? Nice.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907and
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908you bastard. What's your other one? You probably get it right as well.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I've got one more guest, Chicago.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906No,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I have three more written down.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906go. Correct. There was a Super Bowl held at the stadium previous to the Raymond James Stadium,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908am assuming Arizona.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906correct. Sun Devil Stadium. The college stadium
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906a Super
josh_1_02-07-2026_1509081, 2, 3, 4. I also guess New York, but I think that's wrong.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906That's
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Uh, the last New York Super Bowl was the first Super Bowl, uh, Detroit.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Uh, nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906The old silver
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Three, four.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Super Bowl and Ford Field held one as well.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908So it is half a point for each.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Half a point for each.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908It's two and a half.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Hang on. So I, I think I've got the first Super Bowl one, right? Did you say? Say it was New York.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908No.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906No,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Oh, that's why I wrote down.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Angeles first.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Oh. Have you already done that?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Oh, fucking now
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Last one.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907place.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908So I've got La, Miami, new Orleans. No. Yeah. La, Miami, new Orleans. Tampa and Arizona. Uh, Phoenix, Arizona.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I got four la, Miami, Minnesota, Houston,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh, we've got different ones as well then. That's good.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906that's a good effort. And then the state that's held the most Sea four games,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I put California
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I also put California.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906it's
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh, fucking hell
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906with Miami and Tampa. Jacksonville also held
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Did it?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906held Miami's. Yeah. Jacksonville held the Eagles versus the Chiefs. And
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906held a bunch, and Miami's has the most of all time. So yeah, California was second, but Florida is the answer.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Hmm.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Bugger.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906have given a good
josh_1_02-07-2026_1509081, 2, 3, 5. Uh, okay.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906it was between two states so I could have,
josh_1_02-07-2026_1509081, 2, 3, 4, 5, 5 and a half.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Nice.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Better get these right
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Here we go. Skins, uh, the unique common denominator for both of the Super Bowl winning seasons in the eighties?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I put comeback wins.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906No,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908strikes.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906both seasons were shortened. Strikes years.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Solidarity.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906All right. And then the record to this day is the Washington Redskins 35 points in the second quarter against the Broncos in 88. Who scored the first touchdown? Josh?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I hope for the sake of this intro that it is Ricky Sanders.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Correct. Ricky Sanders?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I just went with Art Monk.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Don't actually, weirdly, I don't think Monk actually caught one. He did. I don't think he did in the second quarter. Maybe he did in the second half, but, all right, then the five players, I need two of the five on this.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Um, I'll just put Monk again. Uh, and Clark, I think it's uh, is it Gary Clark
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Uh, none. Neither of those are correct.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Wanker.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908That's unlucky. Uh,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Joe Jacoby
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906correct.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908and I, I, I can't, I'm really annoyed. I can't remember the name of the center. Um, so I didn't put him down, but I guess Darryl Green,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Incorrect. So, Jeff
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908oh. That's the center, isn't it?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Ross Grim and to the look backs. Don Warren.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Tony Warren.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908points there? No
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906No points.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908guys.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I was hoping for a kicker question, if I'm being honest.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907to bring up Mark Mosley. I was trying to guess what questions would come up.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Would've been a good one too far. But Sorry, James.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I guess green just missed the first Super
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Um, I think he got drafted that year. And then, so his first Super Bowl would've been the loss to the
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah. Nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906believe,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I didn't think he was, he was right. But I was annoyed that I didn't get one of the other linemen. Good question.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906yeah. Don Warren played from the seventies through the nineties. Incredible. There you go.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I remain pointless in this one in more ways than one.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906fan you are. Some fan you are. although we haven't had a Super Bowl for a
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906have we? Okay.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Maybe in your time, in your time, Lee. But you know,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I had one in my time and Josh's time. Just about. All right. NFC Championship, the opponents when we won the Super Bowl. Do we have them? Josh
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I think I've got'em in order as well.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906go
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Alright. Cowboys, vikings, lions.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906correct. One point.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907uh, out of those I got Dallas.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Okay. No points.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Harsh but fair.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Last chance. Last chance to get a point in this round?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah. Out of all the quarterbacks, one of them didn't win so we had Fasman Williams and riff, obviously. Which one didn't win? MVV.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh, I'd gone Hyman because I know Ian did, but I wasn't sure. So I went between him and Doug.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Correct.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yes. Point
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the point. You salvaged the point.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Rigo, right?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah. Rigo won it, which was a good look. Back to last episode when Josh gave us some Riggins
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908yes.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906from that Super Bowl. Williams obviously went off. Timmy Smith might have been a shout for
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Doug went into all the
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Three. You said in the lead in three different Super Bowls. Straight. Three different quarterbacks for three different Super Bowl,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908and also none of them Hall of Famers, which is another mad thing for Gibbs.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906a great question in a quiz for non washing
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I think that's still a tough one to get. Uh, that completes the washing
james_1_02-07-2026_150907It is not the right questions. Are they,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Well, you got a point now you got a point.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Four.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Uh, entertainment. Another okay with, uh, adjustment for inflation. 1 15, 8 15, 5 85 for Super Bowl one ticket. What are you
james_1_02-07-2026_150907uh, still went one 15?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I went 5, 8, 5. No idea.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906One 15,$12 tickets. There was over 20,000 empty seats for the game. Notably,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the only other Super Bowl not to be sold out, I believe was the COVID
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Hmm.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906in Tampa. Technically all ticketed, but not a full stadium, of course. Okay, and then
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Fing.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the live pricing for the Super Bowl tomorrow. Uh, the get price, so the cheapest ticket, was it two thousand two hundred fifty three thousand four hundred thirty five or$5,210.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I went the highest 5,000, whatever it was.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I went 3, 4, 8, 5.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Josh is
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh, nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the getting price for tomorrow currently. And who headlined the entertainment for the Pat Seahawks last Super Bowl encounter?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Oh, I didn't get
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Do you know Eric James?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907No, I was just gonna, it's
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I've,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I was just gonna put like Beyonce or something, but I think it was like someone more like
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908uh,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907poppy.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908yeah. Yeah. I got Lady Gaga'cause I know it's some, she did it somewhere in the 2000. Whatevers
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I, I was gonna say Avril Levine, but that's a bit late for her, isn't it?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Skate Boy
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I would've weirdly got this one because I remember it. For
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Oh, I fucking know who it is now. Go on
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906go on. You

josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh dear. Not a good round for me. This. Katie Perry.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906a comeback
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.

ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906James.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Ah,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906One point. One point. No points.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I get
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh man.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906No, one
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Just like Burger King. More so I went for it.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Chicken Royal.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Pepsi. Pepsi is more of the NFL,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906isn't
james_1_02-07-2026_150907yeah,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908and Pepsi. I was like, definitely a hundred percent.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906yeah, I know cores have been big in more recent years, but over the years it had to, but I feel, all right then. Yeah. So the Chicken Council estimates of, of Wings, I think you're both correct on this. I
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the United States will be consuming 1.2 billion chicken
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906which averages out, you know. What, four wings, a person, something like that.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Pretty impressive.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907sense.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Will you be having any wings there?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907won't you, Lee?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I believe there'll be wings Samari, correct This question then, did anyone get a quarterback of what the guess is
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I, think I did.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906James?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Um, I know it had been someone a while ago because there's no one recent, so I've gone Elway, I just went with a big name who's not recent.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I'm lucky.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906good, good effort.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908That was my first instinct.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907it right. Wicked.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah. No, it is incorrect. Not right.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907What?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Josh. Josh Looks like Josh
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Paint a man.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906It is
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Ah,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Two points to Josh. wanna have
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I got two. I got two. I got Dungy
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Kubiak.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Nice. So you got the first and the
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah, no idea. In the middle. I probably know them.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906the,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907yeah. No points then. No points. And that's the real quiz.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I'm a, it's four points there for Josh in the middle was Jim Coldwell and John Fox
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908oh. Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906for
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I remember him.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906um, 16 Broncos. I guess.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908John Fox.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah, I remember him.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Did he, was he at
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah. Yeah. Carolina
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906really,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908for ages.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I guess what was Peyton then? Two and two.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Two and two. Yeah.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Four different, that's interesting. Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Crazy that he went to two Super Bowls, like relatively recently.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah. Uh, nice. That was excellent, Lee. Excellent work.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Well
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908How many was it? Out of?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906well it's out of 30, so it would've been perfect if I didn't bungle with the Bengals but out. Yeah. Outside that say
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Fuck.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I'm annoyed, I'm annoyed with myself for that. Um, 30 points maximum.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I, this doesn't look good. The, the one where we had to guess like eight cities or whatever was that point for each, ah,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906no, it's
james_1_02-07-2026_150907you serious?
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906a
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Half a point for each.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907then. This is very, very bad.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Have you, have you cracked double figures, James?
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Uh, might not have now
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907one. Oh, dear, dear, oh, dear.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906I was getting tired in ai, clearly. Let me down on that one.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I've got double digits 11.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906gotta have this. That's not, not, not a disgraceful effort.
josh_1_02-07-2026_15090819 and a half.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_09090619 and a half.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908I'm annoyed about a couple, but also very, a very good, good levelly, well pitched quiz, I would say.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907you what Josh, let's get together tomorrow.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907We'll throw a cat over a pub
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907you can throw it. Fair.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908we could do that.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907that's the real winner.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Saffron Walden's a good place for that sort of high jinx
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906What time are you, uh, getting to Seth and Walden?
josh_1_02-07-2026_1509082:00 PM GMT.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906food pubs in the afternoon
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah, there's a
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Awesome.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908or there's a football game. There's all sorts going on, so
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Bit rugged, isn't there?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908make a day of it's today actually.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Okay,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah. Nice. Well,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Lee.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908thank you. I hope some people played along at home, or at least to the Washington portion. Probably all of it, to be fair.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906feel free to steal and share
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I actually forgot that we were kind of podcasting there. It felt like we were doing like a COVID
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Friday, like happy, whatever it was called, that quiz thing. Yeah. Nice.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Any last pluses on the games boys, before we
james_1_02-07-2026_150907A hundred percent.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906go to enjoy our
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah, James has done loads of loads of profit in you. James,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907loads of
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908go on. You got two seconds, 10 seconds.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907what was I gonna bring up? Couple of things. I've changed my mind on this. I am going with the Patriots to find a way
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Oh God.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907to win this one. around in games, um, I think. If they can capitalize on any mistakes the Seahawks makes, I think they'll win. Um, I think they'll need one or two explosive plays. I think they've kept Henderson wraps in recent games. They've been kind of weird game scripts and in snow, so they've leaned on Stevenson. I think we could see a couple of big runs from Henderson in this. I think they're gonna need of that today, uh, to nullify, uh, the Seahawks. Um, but yeah, things have just been going their way. They're well coached and I just think they're going to through this one, perhaps. Um, I'm gonna go 2017 to the New England Patriots.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Blind me, I must admit, I've, I've come closer to a closer game, uh, as the week has gone on, uh, which you'll hear if, if people listen to the last bit of the show. Me and Brit having a chat on Thursday night, I said the same there. Um, but I still think the seals will win it. I think they're too good. Um
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I, I, I think if it's a close game, I think the Sea Haws would be in trouble.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908hmm.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907I think Patriots have been in a lot of close games. They found a way to win. But if the Seahawks get way early, it's game over. Um, I would say,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907mention the British defensive coordinator for the Seahawks, which we all kind of realized yesterday. I mean, I put a certain column out there. Um, pretty cool story he coached for the London Warriors. it mentioned in the column Colony used to go to, you know, there players with seven professional. One of those players was Mr. Vernon Kay
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Are here.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Strong Safety.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Bloody hell
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Um,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906it,
james_1_02-07-2026_150907yeah,
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908yeah. Yeah.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Um, he was quoted in that Sports Illustrated, uh, article there as well. Um, but used to turn up to people's offices to like run free plays with him like during the week and stuff.'cause you know, they
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Nice
james_1_02-07-2026_150907as well. So, pretty cool story and, and people seem to think, you know, it's a matter of time till he gets a coach shop, so pretty cool.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906awesome. I agree with both of you guys. I think the game's gonna, I actually really think it's gonna be a sneaky good Super Bowl. There's a lot of buzz about the Pats this week and their defense isn't there. And Seattle haven't really faced a top. have they? And they're two wins if you think about it at all. So I think it could be quite a tight game and like deep into the fourth quarter, which after the last year's game for multiple reasons will be, will be a good watch. So I'm
james_1_02-07-2026_150907Yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906for it. Last question for you guys. Do you have any one from either of the sides, um, fans with you guys in the group
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908wand.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Oh, is it
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yes.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907unfortunately.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906fan?
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Seahawks Bono. That's it. Just, just the one. Um,
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906That's always, that's always fun. I remember you telling me about the Miles, um, Lanter situation with our friend Dan Quinn and he was just at the end of the bar with his like head in
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908yeah.
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906for it to happen essentially. Yeah. Um, yeah, look, really looking forward to it now. So it should be a, should be a great day.
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Good. I hope, I hope you have a good time, Lee. We'll be sharing pictures and videos and all sorts and, and being in So
ledders_1_02-07-2026_090906Hala. Losing free won
josh_1_02-07-2026_150908are they Nice. Just a live update of the EFL championship scores.
james_1_02-07-2026_150907are you, are you bringing the pig skin tomorrow?

josh_1_02-07-2026_150908Yeah, absolutely right. Thanks guys. Uh, we will close out this bit of the podcast with the Washington, uh, tribute to Sunny Jergenson, which I've clipped in here. Um, but enjoy the game, both of you obviously. I'll see you tomorrow, James. Chat to you soon, Lee. Until next time, hail.
I looked on coming to the Redskins as a new start. An opportunity to start fresh again with a new organization and also coming with the Redskins was an opportunity to play for a team that I had grown up just seeing on television, you know, we, we, we had a good group of guys, good teammates. We fought hard. We didn't have the greatest record in the world. But the people enjoyed us. They backed us. They cheered for us because each and every week we went out and laid it on the wine and entertained them. Played as hard as we could. Sonny Jorgenson's Place in Washington's history is special. I haven't seen anyone who could handle a football in the manner that redhead could. Millions remember your voice as the soundtrack for this team's free Super Bowl. For 55 years with your many different talents, you have expired this team and generations of fame. Sunny, no single person has elevated, impacted, and loved the burgundy gold quite like you.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Welcome to the final portion of today's show, and we have yet again, Brett Walker joining us from the Brett Chat Sports Podcast. Brett, we've seen a lot of each other in the last few weeks. We probably didn't expect this to be the case earlier in the season, um, but I'm very pleased for you that the Patriots obviously are in the Super Bowl, and it's nice to chat to you again.
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134No. Well, it's always good to chat to you, Josh, and yeah, I've, uh, I've said this out, swear, but I'll, I'll gladly say it again. This is a conversation that I did not think I was gonna be having at this stage of the season about the Patriots.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135No, and not many people predicted that, although actually earlier on in this podcast. Um, so just, just, uh, the, the Eagle eared listener might, might notice that I have a bit of a cold and they wouldn't have noticed that earlier in the show. That's'cause we've recorded this one on, uh, Thursday evening. So Brett and I are chatting now. It's Thursday evening UK time for the Super Bowl. Um, and the earliest segment of this show was on Saturday, James Lee and I. Um, I hope Brett, that you are kind of riding the wave and not looking ahead too much.
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134well, exactly. I think it's, um. You know, I said at the start of the season on this show, but, uh, I thought we were gonna be like nine and eight, something like that, because I, for me, you look at Mike Vrabel and his time at the Tysons, he, he turned that team into one that was, that was always in and around the playoffs. And so I thought, well, that's what's gonna happen with the Patriots. Now obviously we're a lot further along in that rebuild than I thought we were gonna be, but hopefully that that. That means that, you know, it's good times ahead. We've, we've already built this good base. We've got, you know, fantastic players, good solid veteran players like Spill and Landry on the defense. We're do, we're doing the same on the offensive line as well. We need to keep building that offensive line, as I said. On the, you know, the previous episodes when we chatted, you know, we need to, we still need to add to the offensive line. So if we can do that in the drafting in free agency, then hopefully we can have some, like, sustained success. But you, you never know what could happen. Like Drake may could get injured early on next season. And then, yeah, we're down to, uh, we're down to, uh, Tommy DeVito and, uh. And Josh and Josh Dobb. So you know, like we, we'll have to see, we'd have to see how things go.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Yeah, it's, it's, that's a good approach to take, which is kind of a bit of excitement about what the future could hold. But as we know, NFL is designed to bring bad teams back around, and it's designed for parity more than, more than most. Sports across the globe, really. Um, ironically in terms of the US being the kind of champion of that in, in the NFL, um, the Patriots obviously buck to that trend for a long time being one of the, the kind of actual, um, dominant forces for a long time. Chiefs in recent years have done similarly, um, but you really never know what will happen year on year. So I'm, I'm glad you are enjoying it. Uh, before we talk about the game on Sunday, I did wanna discuss my appearance on your podcast as a guest host. Um, I very much enjoyed that. Thank you for the opportunity. Also, thank you for kind of giving me the, the steers with, with who was gonna be on and, and what to say. I must admit, when you sent me the document. Which was like a, a guide to um, kind of how the show would
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Yeah.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135I thought the professionalism compared to my bullet point list that I send you when I get you on this podcast is miles ahead. So I do thank you for that, but I really enjoyed it. Um, I hope that shows how had some success and, and people have been listening'cause it was really good
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Yeah, I mean, like, we're over, we've got over a hundred views on, uh, YouTube as, as it scans on Thursday evening. Uh, there's a, you know, there's been, we, I seem to do quite well on Apple podcasts as well, like, you know, because a lot of people have iPhones. And I've very deliberately made the show so that. Uh, you know, it doesn't have to be a biz pod. It'll work just as a, as a purely audio podcast. Like it, it does seem to, I do seem to get a good, a good deal of people listening on Apple Podcasts as well, so like, yeah. Hopefully between, you know, now on Thursday evening and Sunday on the Super Bowl, they'll, you know, we'll get some more people listening and watching to it.'cause Yeah, like, you know, I, you know, I do the podcast. You know, pretty much for myself, really, you know, I'm, I'm make, I'm making the podcast that I would want to watch or listen to, and if anyone else wants to watch or listen to it, fantastic. But yeah, I do, I do kind of really do just make it for myself because a lot of what I see, certainly on British TV in terms of sport coverage, it, it's not for me. Like, you know, there's, it's a lot of, there's a lot of banter. On UK sports coverage. And it, it's just really, it can be really dumb at times. And I just, I just wanna listen to experts telling me why a play works. You know, like what are the little nuances that I, I as a, as a fan of that sport, uh, should be watching out for. And instead you get. And I'm gonna say it instead, you get O making the same jokes week after week, and for some reason thinking he's a come genius and he's not. And. I'm gonna tread very lightly because he's been very ill recently. You know, he, he, he said, he said a couple weeks ago that he, he was in a coma for five days and absolutely, you know, I am, I'm very glad that he's outta that coma and that he's giving besting hour. But yeah, he was, he, he, he used to be so good on the NFL show, on the BBC when it was like him, mark, Mark Chapman and Jason Bell, and then he's. He just tries to make jokes now and it's not good. And it's the same with Jason Bell. Like Jason Bell, I love Jason Bell. He's a wonderful, an analyst. He's a better analyst than OCO, quite frankly, but. He's, he just seems, he just seems to think that you have to be turned up to 11 at all time and know, I just wanna listen to your, your analysis. J Bell. You are a fantastic analyst. Let's just see you doing that because that, that's wonderful and that's why I wanted to watch you on the NFL show, you know, 10 years ago.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Yeah, it is. I, I totally agree with you. It is really frustrating to what seems like a kind of appeal to the, almost the lowest common denominator in terms of like who might be watching and enjoying the coverage.'cause I think at this point, yes, there will be people tuning in for the first time midseason, but it's probably quite, quite rare. Like PE people are, are set in their fandom and they're kind of set in their. Knowledge base about the game and, and I totally agree that many people will watch the NFL for a fantasy football basis or not have a team that they root for or be a red zone kind of fan, which is great, right? None of those things need, you know, need judgment negatively at all. most people know the game well enough to kind of enjoy proper analysis like your craving
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Yeah.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135and like I crave as
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Yeah, like, I mean like,
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135than
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134sorry to interrupt, but like Channel, channel Five's coverage currently, like Channel five have got the coverage for this first season and the basic, they base it around a game show format and they've got Derma O'Leary hosting and Derma O'Leary is a wonderful host for that game show format. And he clearly does know American football a little bit. You know, he clearly, yes, he was a, he was a fan of the Dolphins in the eighties when he was on Channel four. You know, much like Mark Chapman, uh, you know, he did the NFL show in the NFL this week on the BBC. Clearly he was a fan of the Chicago birds because of that Channel four coverage in the eighties. So, you know, third place of Derma O'Leary, but he's holding it all together. But if you watch, if you look at everything around that broadcast, and this is me kind of going back to my degree and the fact I get communication ques and all that, they are surrounding Derma O'Leary with as many like funny people as possible. Like John Richardson's been on Sean Wel, she's being on, and they acknowledge that they aren't football fans, but they come on because for whatever reason they think that. That broadcast needs to be funny and it doesn't need to be funny. It needs to be good. It just needs to be good. It just needs to be interesting. It just needs, if you are watching American football for the first time, you just need to be told why something's happening. You know, the basic premise of you've got four chances to move 10 yards down the field, and if you move 10 yards down the field, you get another four chances. You know, and then, yeah, there's all the, uh, there's all the things about, you know, ten second runoff on the clock and all that. That's, that's what a first timer needs. That's what's actually gonna make them be interested and want to keep watching. Not as wonderful as, as John Richardson is. I love John, John Richardson. He's a fantastic comedian. You know, like Meet the Richardsons is one of my favorite shows. With the last few years, him and his, his ex-wife, Lucy Beaumont, did a wonderful job at that show. But by his own admission, he should not be on a show about the NFL, you know? So, and, and, but again, and, and that's not, I'm, I'm not meaning to grumble, you know, like it's, but yeah, that, that show is good for what it is. Like the game show element has a lot of charm to it, but.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Hmm.
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134I'm watching football because I want to watch football. Not, not to, not to see that game show for that, but yeah, I've, uh, I've been an old man there and I've wings gone pretending it's, so, I think it's probably best we move on.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135No, I, I, I, I will, I will join you in that winge. I mean, I don't quite know who that show is aimed at. Like, I, I like, if, if I was being kind of corporate about it, I'd be like, who? What's the audience of that show?'cause it's not. Because clearly it, it's, it's, it's far too NFL specific and, and, and, and they show the game and like that, that's the majority of what the broadcast ultimately is. So if you don't like the NFL, you're not gonna tune into that just for the game show element. So you have to have an interest in American sports or the NFL, but. If you have that interest, then you probably are already maybe a subscriber to, to D Zone or Game Pass or Sky. And if not, fine, but ultimately you might know enough about the game to not have to worry about the way that they pitch it. And also you prefer some analysis rather than the nonsense. So I kind of go like, who is it for? So I, I do struggle with that. I, I do think. But banter is good when it's just natural,
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Exactly.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135it's ultimately like really frustrating to listen to and a bit cringe. And that's kind of where it's gone with some of these things. So
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Yeah,
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135there's, there's plenty of options on Sunday for
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134there is. Yes.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Um, let's chat about what your plans are for the game then. Um, obviously no question that you'll watch this game live,
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Yes, absolutely. I will be a, I'll be getting up. I'll be getting up as normal on Sunday, doing my day as normal. The wonderful thing about the Super Bowl is it means that the NBA does matine a games, and I'm a ba, I'm a basketball fan first and foremost, so I'll watch an NBA game and then I'll have a strategic nap. Then I'll make sure I'm up and ready for like, the start of the Super Bowl coverage.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Nice. Good, good for you. And, uh, what's the food and drink situation
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134So,
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Casa
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134so, uh, so this, my try and tru and this, this, this, uh, this took about 15 years to Perfect, was pepperoni pizza, couple of beers, pack Doritos, and, and a couple of dips Try.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135flavored Doritos. I have to ask what
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134I, I go for original and then it's, it's for dips. It's for dips that it goes all over work, whether it's, you know, get myself a salsa, get myself a sour cream and chive. Occasionally I might treat myself and go some natural cheese on top.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Yeah. Nice. You gotta go. You got, you've gotta, you've gotta kind of get into the spirit of this sort of stuff, and I'm, I'm, I'm pleased that you do. Um, I do have to ask where your pepperoni pizza is coming from. Is that a delivery takeaway situation? Is that like a Sainsbury's pepperoni you've gotta go to?
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134No, no. I'll, uh, I'll, uh, I'll, I'll go, uh, I'll go to a supermarket and I will buy a pizza. This is a. You know, one of the, uh, one of the things that I make very, I'm very proud of my heritage and I'm half Italian, so I could, I could go down the whole make one, but no, no, I just, I go for like a good, a good solid American pepperoni pizza. Because it's for Super Bowl and then, yeah, Dorito, as I say, Dorito's dip. And normally it's a couple of beers this year. I can't, I can't drink alcohol at all, which is,
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Mm-hmm.
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134not a big drinker, but I, I, I make an exception for the Super Bowl and have a cup of beers, but can't do that this year. Uh, for, uh, various reasons. And that's fine because you know, if you can't, if you can't have a good time without alcohol, then. You know, it's, uh, that's a shame and I can certainly enjoy myself without our call, particularly when my team is in the Super Bowl.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Yeah, yeah, exactly. Well, who knows how long you'll enjoy the game for. Let's talk about the game because obviously, as you know, when I hosted guest hosted your most recent episode of your podcast, I did unfortunately predict a Seattle Seahawks victory. I wondered if you might just kind of. Forget posting the show after I did that, or cut me out completely or re re try and find a host at the last minute after I did that. But I, I had to be honest with my kind of prediction, even though perhaps I wasn't as kind to you as the
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134No. No. In fairness, in fairness, I'm the only per, I'm the only person who, who's even. Contemplating that the Patriots might win. And well also, and the, uh, the, the guy who, the guy from Seattle Gavin who's, who, uh, gave a Seahawks point of view, like he, he contemplated the possibility, but otherwise you and all the other, uh, and the fans of all the other teams, but, uh, gave a prediction, all of your predicting Seahawks. And you know what, that's fine by me because. It's, uh, you know, like if, if it means the pressure's off, but hopefully we can, uh, we can, hopefully we can surprise everyone and, and win.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Hey, not a bad position to be in when you have almost nothing to lose in that sense, and everyone else thinks you're going to lose. Um, let's talk a little bit about, about the game itself then. I, I kind of wanna hear some of your keys to a Patriot's victory. As many or as few as you like, of those that you think, you know, if that sort of thing happens or if you play that sort of way, or this player, whatever, um, what's the road for the Patriots to kind of win this Super Bowl for you, Brett?
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134So on the, on the Super Bowl. 60 preview episode of the BCS podcast folks. Uh, Josh kindly, guest host is one of the things that Josh said was that, um, uh, the Patriots play complimentary football, and we need to keep doing that. I would say that there's a few, there's a few different things that we have to do in August to win this game, and the big one for me is we have to give. Draped may as many opportunities on offense as possible. And for that to happen, uh, the two tackles Will Campbell and Morgan Moses. Have really got to step up their game because Drake may was sacked five times, uh, in all three of the previous playoff games. And yes, of course those are, that's against, uh, the Chargers, thetans in the Broncos who've all got dug defenses. Yet still, we won those games. But if we, if we wanna win a Super Bowl, we've got to give drape may as many opportunities as possible. So we've gotta assure up that, uh, offensive line. Uh, one of the things that, uh, the Patriots do on of offenses, occasionally they'll bring in, uh, the defensive linemen, uh, Karis, Tonga and Heel acts as a battering ram to create a hole, uh, for re scheming center into Ruey. I think that's something that we might have to consider doing is bringing someone like Tonga onto the offensive line, uh, every now and again to kind of be that battering ram and to take out, you know, the, uh, the Seahawks defense to give us that opportunity. Whether that's giving, giving re Stevenson a chance to run or whether it's giving, uh. It, it's creating, it's creating some additional space by taking a guy out so that Drake may has got more chances to survey helium through. And I think we also have to do the same on defense. You know, like something that we know about Sam Gar is he does not respond well to pressure. He's not as bad as he used to be, but you know, he very famously saw ghosts against the Patriots a few years ago. And. We're gonna have to, we're gonna have to try and do that again. Whether that's, you know, whether that's rushing guys off the edge, whether that's mixing up the, the looks that we are giving to the Patriots or to the, sorry, the, the Seahawks offensive line. We've got to find a way to put pressure on Sam Donald if we, if we can neutralize him, if we can n uh, if we neutralize him, we also neutralize the wide receivers. That's a big part of the Seahawks game. And then we, you know, we then, we then only in quotes have to worry about Kenneth Walker. So, yeah, I think we've got to play that complimentary football. We've got to be solid, but our, our offensive and defensive lines need to be solid and I think quite frankly. Uh, Josh McDaniels on offense and, uh, you know, Terrell Williams with the, with the help of ZKO on defense, we're gonna have to, we're gonna have to excavate every single nook and cranny of those playbooks because, you know, as much as I wrote off the Seahawks at the start of the season, they have spectacularly proven me wrong. They are a, uh, they are a legit football team. And we are gonna have to, we are gonna have to do everything, uh, that we can possibly do. We are gonna have to spring every possible surprise that we can if we are gonna be able to beat the sea Horts on Sunday.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135I really balanced and I think I agree with most of that take actually, Brett, because, um, one of the things I was thinking about was. Controlling the clock, kind of being able to establish the run, really old school stuff. Right. Um, but that sort of style of football that you, you mentioned bringing in, in the extra lineman, uh, jumbo packages, uh, eligible, all that kind of stuff, just to set a tone, but also to keep the ball in the hands of Drake may and the offense, rather than giving Donald too, too many chances. Right. I think that's, that's part of what I. I think is a, is a key. And I talked about that earlier in the previous segment actually, so it tied in quite nicely. Um, Sam Donald, to me, is the key to this game, kind of on both sides of the, of the football. I, I feel like his performance. Is the one thing I would point to either way that will make the biggest difference to the outcome of this game. And, and obviously a lot of that will depend on how well the Patriots are able to defend him and pressure him, like you said. Um, and I kind of dunno which way that's gonna go. So I, I, I, my final prediction, you are here, I'm not gonna tell you now. I'm gonna make you try and listen. I'll text you if
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134I always, I I, I always listen to the show. Like I, you know, yeah. Like I, I listen, like the last time I was on, in, like in, and you were, and you put me on last, I still, I still listen to you, James and Lee. Uh, basically, basically ripping each other
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Yeah.
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134for half an hour before, before I then came on.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Yeah. That's pretty much what will happen in this episode. Um, no, but a, a sneak preview, I guess for you about people who have already heard it, but my prediction is much closer than I originally thought and predicted earlier on. Um, and I'm kind of leaning on some of the things you've been. Been messaging me around and some other friends who are Patriots fans around Vrabel having tricks up his sleeve, understanding this game, kind of the experience of it. McDaniel's being in this position before, in terms of the success he's had in, in for the Patriot. I, I, I feel like I was too keen earlier this week to suggest that the Seahawks was such a dominant force that the Patriots be blown away. Um, and. The way you described the keys for the Patriots there makes them sound quite attainable and achievable if they're able to, to kind of set themselves up the right way. the X factor is, is some of the, the skill position players on offense for the Seahawks, Jackson Smith, and Jig B for example, Kenneth Walker and their, and their strength as, as a defense overall, which can be kinda suffocating. But this is a, this is a Super Bowl and a matchup that I'm way more interested in than previous years. Um, and not just because the Eagles aren't in it or the chiefs aren't in it, but also because I think it's an, it is a really intriguing matchup, and I think the fact that it's quite close in terms of who. At least in terms of the spread and, and what some people are thinking who, who are in the know this game. It's closer than people think. I think that's a good sign. I think it could be a really good game because of that. Um, I'm really, really looking forward to it. Um, and, and your kind of discussion there about how the Patriots might be able to get it done as has peaked my interest even more.
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Yeah. Right. Yeah, absolutely. Like, and it's a, you know, I. I think one of the things that makes the Super Bowl interesting is I, there weren't, there were, I don't think there were any of many people that would've predicting either the Patriots or the Seahawks would get to the Super Bowl. Like, you know, the most, the most ambitious fans. Yes. But you know, I regard myself as a pragmatist and I thought, well, you know, we, Patriots might just about be able to get a wild card swap, you know, like, same with the Seahawks. Like again, I wrote them off. Mainly because veering such a strong division as it happens, they topped what was a very strong division. So I wasn't completely wrong, I just discounted the Seahawks because of how strong, you know, bere, not beres, sorry, the uh, the beams and the forcing irons are. So it's, but yeah, it's, I think that's what makes it interesting is people did not expect this to be the Super Bowl matchup. And it is, and it's also the Super Bowl matchup. It's a, it's also a, it's also a, you know, it's, it's two teams that very famously went up against each other in Super Bowl 49, and there was a very famous ending to that game. You know, like I remember, I remember watching, I remember when it was Super Bowl 49. I, I'd only just started a new job, so I didn't dare take Monday off. So I watched the first car, went to bags, went into work. Basically told everyone, if you know the Super Bowl result, don't tell me. Got got through the whole day, drove home, and then watched the, um, watched the second half. I was living with someone at the time and they just, they just gave me go. Yes. I'm like, I'm like, what's happening? What's happening? So.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135like that is, that's a snapshot in time, that that would probably be now, though it's not that long ago. Like now you, I dunno if you'd be able to avoid
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Yeah, like I think, well it was, I think, uh, NFL, like the NFL was on the BBC at the time. So,'cause we're talking 2015, I think it was. It might, it might have even have been, um. Might be getting this wrong. I think it was even pre chaps, OC and J Bell on the B, b, C. So like, yeah, it was, I think, yes, yes, I'm right. It was a, it was on Channel four, VER and Kay presenting it with Mike Carson and yeah, I, uh, yeah, it was a, you know, it was, that was, I think that was the scar of like the NFL starting to get bigger in the, in the uk. And it's, um, yeah, I'm, I think you're right.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Nice. Uh, good shout for Mike Carlson. I used to love Mike
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Oh yeah.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135was the guy I couldn't remember earlier when I was talking about Colin Murray on Channel five, because Murray and Carlson did that together for a period as
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Yeah. And he's, you know, fantastic broadcasters, Mike casting, and it's, uh, yeah, like it's, um, I, uh, I like one of the things I is, I listen to the Nacu show and Mike Casting's a regular on that with, uh, Ben Isaacs, and I'm forgetting the other, the other LA's name. But yeah, like. I think we have some, we do have some wonderful broadcasters in this country when it comes to the NFL and yeah. Nat Coons, uh, with, with, uh, Mike Carson is, yeah, he's, he's a, he's an absolute national treasure for British NFL fans, I would say.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Agreed. I'm glad. We agree on that as well. Um, um, we are gonna disagree on the final score prediction. I'm gonna ask you now, Brett, for the final word on the head on free podcast before the Super Bowl for your final score prediction for this game. And also I did ask you to come up with, with a random prediction, could be anything related to the game on Sunday. So if you could give me both of those before we close out, that would be
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Okay, so firstly I think that you've got two very good defenses here, and I've said this about the, said this about the Broncos pa uh, Patriots game as well. Said it was gonna be 10, it was gonna be 13, 10, and it ended up being ten seven. I think this is a game where, and yep, I'm biased, but I'm, I'm also optimistic. I think it's gonna be 1713 to the Patriots. And in terms of, uh, you know, like a wild prediction, Brendan skewer as Meg is going for the Patriots, a song who. Who, you know, rushes off the edge on special teams and stops pumps and stops field goals. Brendan Schooler would also plays a wide receiver in, uh, college and I think if we are, if Josh McDaniel is gonna excavate every knock and cranny of his playbook, I think we, we bring Brendan schooler in, have, Markham is an putting down as an eligible receiver and he, he gets a reception. For the Patriots at some point on Sunday, because as I say, we need to be, we need to be throwing every possible surprise at the Seahawks. And I think that is a, that's a surprise that could work out just in the same way that like the Philly special works out for the Eagles when they played the Patriots, uh, in, in the Super Bowl, uh, pre pandemic.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Nice. That is exactly the kind of random, um, take kind of, uh, thing that I wanted when I asked you, because most Washington fans, probably most listeners to this podcast, won't have heard that name before necessarily. If they have it's from you
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Sure.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135at some point. And now we have a prediction that's that's based around that and, and a, and a trick play or
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Yeah.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135we're not expecting to be part of the game. So I love
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Either that, or rather than, rather than Tonga being brought onto the offensive flying to act as a battering ram for Ramon Stevenson, they go, Wildcat, they put the ball in Tonga's hand and he battering, rams his way into the, into the end zone and gets a touchdown as a, as a, as a rushing.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Nice. Love that. Okay, cool. Brett, thanks so much. I, I love the optimism. Uh, thank you for the analysis and it's always great to chat to you. Um, I'm assuming you'll be doing some sort of recap of the Super Bowl as either a podcast or, or as a substack or
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134If I can, if I can get people to send me reactions to the Super Bowl. On a Monday morning when they are bleary eyes and uh,'cause I did this last year and I somehow my to, to get multiple chiefs fang and multiple eagle fangs to send me a. To send me reactions to the Super Bowl result. So yeah, I'm, I'm basically just gonna use your podcast to advertise now, if there are any, if there are any Patriots fans or any Seahawks fans who you know, who are listening to this podcast and you fancy like sending me a reaction to the result on Monday morning, please do feel free. I will gladly, I'll gladly take it, and I will gladly put that out as a Super Bowl reaction episode on Monday afternoon.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Nice. Thank you. No, and please do use, use this platform. I'm not sure how useful it'll be.
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Good.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135anyone is listening, how do they, how do they get in touch with you, Brett? On, on, on X
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Right. So I'm on Twitter and I'm on Blue Sky at Brett Chat Sports. Get in touch with me on. Either of those platforms, like send me a message, you know, tweet me as, tweet me, message me, you know, send, you know, like follow me and then send me a message and then, you know, I'll follow you back and we'll, we'll we, we will chat over DM and we'll get that source because yeah, the only Patriots fan I know currently is me. Uh, it's, you know, it's, it's why, it's why I got you on to guest, host the podcast'cause it wa it was only right if I was gonna be the Patriots fan, giving the Patriots fan's view, make sure that there was an actual genuine, neutral, who knows the NFL host that show and actually being a fur and balanced coast rather than me trying to do double duty. And yeah. And people could have rightly have been skeptical about that.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Uh, that's, that's, that's, that's good of you. That's very kind as well. But I, I do think you'd have done a good job. I do think you'd have been able to hold it together and be relatively impartial, but at least you didn't have to do that.
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134Well,
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135that I was able
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134well, the facts is, I, you know, I, I, I know, I know a podcast host who I know knows football. He is, quite frankly, Josh, you are, you are more knowledgeable about the NFL than I could ever be. So the fact that I was able to get you in as a guest host and, and actually if, if anyone hasn't watched the, uh, the super. 60 preview episode of the BCS podcast. Watch it if for no reason so you can actually see what Josh looks like.
josh_1_02-05-2026_191135Trying to avoid that as much as possible. People seeing what I look like. No. Any kidding? No, it was great. It was great to be on, and it's a pleasure for you to be on this show as well. I really appreciate you coming on and sharing your thoughts. Look, Brett, enjoy the game. I wish you all the best. I think the seals are gonna win, for your sake. I hope the Patriots win.
brett-walker_1_02-05-2026_191134It is always a pleasure, Josh. Thank you very much for having me on.
