ideologies will tell us that we're defined by our group, our class, or even our struggle. 00:02:50.719 --> 00:02:55.360 Now, each of these frameworks tries to answer those deep questions we ask likeness. 00:06:45.839 --> 00:06:54.800 Now, before we go any further into this text, lift your eyes just some verses ahead of that, where God is creating the other things. 00:06:55.040 --> 00:06:57.920 And notice the shift of the language. 00:06:58.720 --> 00:07:06.160 Up to this point in time in Genesis chapter 1, God has spoken with a very steady pattern and rhythm. 00:07:07.680 --> spiritually adrift, that he would make some sort of physical gesture toward them, an expression of deference and respect, as an intentional act of honoring the image of God in that person.
