And I want this to be your go-to space for financial discipleship and kingdom motivation as you build your business and you walk out your calling. So whether you're taking a walk, cooking dinner, driving the kids to their next destination, or getting some work in while you listen, I want you to know that this is a safe place. This is a safe space. This is your space. Okay, so if you ever have any recommendations of topics that you want me to cover, go ahead and come over to the Rightful Owner community on the Patreon and share your thoughts and just anything that you want me to cover, all right? And also, I want you to remember there is no judgment here, sis, just truth and love and know that I love you enough to tell you the truth because I want to see you win, all right? So we'll be talking about today. Today, we're going to dive into... What the Bible actually says about wealth. I think this is a perfect first episode, what do you think? I want to dive into this topic because there is a difference between the wealth of the world and kingdom wealth. And when you understand that, it shifts everything. So, see, I would say worldly wealth is mostly about tangible wealth. You tell me what you think. But when I say tangible, I'm thinking money, status, clothes, cars, social media followers. Some of you would say like subscribers. It's often tied to power and authority. In the world, your net worth determines your worth. But in the kingdom, power and authority are not earned. They're your birthright. In the world, people are chasing back, fighting for influence, trying to secure the next win, but they often, as many of us, we often do not understand the weight of chasing after wealth. With it comes the temptation to idolize it, to compromise who we say we are, and to compare ourselves to others. But in the kingdom, it's Wealth is both tangible and intangible. So listen, it's not just about what's in your bank account. It's what's going on in your heart. What is going on in your heart, sis? I want to direct your attention to Galatians 5, 22 through 23. Yes, this is the fruit of the spirit, but it tells us what true spiritual wealth looks like. It tells us what true spiritual Like successes, like it gives us a metrics to measure success in our business. I actually want to do a lesson on this, a masterclass on this in the community. So watch out for that. But we know what the fruit of the spirit is, right? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. This is the one guys working with beyond. gentleness and self-control which one do you believe that like God's working on you with right now which which one the fruit of spirits are you in the season where God's like hey they be more patient or hey you need to be more kind or hey you need to demonstrate you know a better level of like self-control which one I'm interested in knowing but I shared this to say that When someone has truly tapped into kingdom wealth, it's not just about the obvious in their blessing. It's not just about what's in their blessing. It's not just about what we can see. It's evident in how they treat people. How they treat people they know and people they don't know. It's evident in how they treat God. Are they making God a priority or is he an afterthought? True kingdom wealth reflects God's character. And it reminds us that we don't have to chase anything that God hasn't already given us the authority to carry. Say that again for the people in the back. We don't have to chase anything God has already given us the authority to carry. Somebody need to write that down. While you're writing it down, while you're going to get a pen, let's direct your attention to Deuteronomy 8.18. Because if we're going to talk about wealth, then we got to talk about the most. Talk about scripture when we talk about wealth. And that's Deuteronomy 8.18. And it reads, Remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth. It is he who has given you the ability to create wealth. Everything that you need, my friend, is in your hands. So when we think about this, wealth cannot be evil. If God has given us the ability to produce wealth, then wealth itself is not evil. It cannot be evil. But wealth is a gift. It is a tool. It is responsibility. I remember when... I first came, you know, really got on this journey of financial healing. And I started to include behavioral finance in how I work with my clients. And the very first scripture that God pointed out to me was 1 Timothy 6, verses 17 through 19. Now, the cool thing about this scripture is that in the same chapter is the most misquoted scripture about money. which is the love of money is the rule of all evil. Or some people will missay it and say money is the rule of all evil. And so just the scripture that I'm about to read in verses 17 through 19 is really significant to me because I used to think that money was the rule of all evil. I used to think that even though it doesn't say that in the Bible. But going down a little bit more, God actually gives instructions to the wealthy. He gives instructions to the rich. And when we hear rich and wealthy, we may think a number. We may associate those words with an actual number. But my friend, if you're listening to this podcast, you are wealthy. You are rich. So here's the instructions that God has given us about being rich or wealthy. Command those who are rich in this present world, not to be arrogant, nor to put their hope in wealth, but to be rich in good deeds and to be generous and willing to share. That's the instructions that he gave us. And I want to be controversial and I want to say something, but I'm going to wait into another episode. Okay. But okay, so let's add this up in our minds, right? God has given us the ability to create wealth. And he is giving us instructions like to us, to the wealthy. So again, I say to you, my friend, wealth is a gift, a tool, a responsibility. And if God has given you wealth, it's not a flex. It's because he trusts you to steward it. He trusts you to be responsible for it. Even if you have discounted yourself or you find yourself unworthy of to be used as God's steward in his kingdom. God says otherwise. And when we say steward, I don't mean just budgeting. Budgeting is a very good first step, but it's not the only thing. And it also doesn't mean holding the money in fear or the opposite, spending it just because you can. Let's not forget the parable of the talents in Matthew 25. Now, I want you to remember the servant who multiplied what was given to him. You remember him? Yes. That's the one the master called faithful. Now, I want you to remember the fruits of the spirit, measuring of success. Faithfulness is one of them. This takes us all the way back to the very first command in Genesis. which says, be fruitful and multiply. Since I don't know what you're doing right now, but I need you to hear what I'm about to say. And if your hands are free, I need you to place your hands out in front of you as if you are about to receive something. Part of your stewardship is multiplying what God has in your hands. A part of your stewardship is multiplying what God has already placed in your hands. Remember, you have everything that you need. It's in your hands. But the truth is, many of us are playing small. I used to be one of them. And we're holding back. Why? Because we're afraid. What are we afraid of? What are we afraid of, KP? Afraid of investing, afraid of risk, afraid of what might happen if it doesn't work. And if I can be real, some of us are afraid, what's going to happen if it does work? But there's a principle that we need to really lock in on. Are you ready for it? Wealth requires faith. Wealth requires faith. You may even need to say that out loud. Wealth requires faith. Faith says, God, I trust you more than this dollar. I trust you more than this$10,000. I trust you more than whatever amount is coming up in your mind right now. I believe that for some of you, God has pointed out a very specific situation So that you can say, God, I trust you more than blank. Faith says, God, I believe that you are my provider. Not the client, not the algorithm, not the paycheck. We are not to place money where only God belongs. So I have said a lot. I hope that your mind is moving, but I want to bring it in. I want to tighten it up so that you have a takeaway and you kind of just understand what this episode is about. So I started out talking about telling you that the title of this episode is what the Bible really says about kingdom wealth. And here's what it says in a summary. No really quick takeaway. It's not about chasing money. It's not about striving. It's about trusting. It's about stewarding, multiplying, and doing it all with God at the center. True wealth is when your money and your heart are in alignment with the Word of God. When what you build bears fruit, both in the natural and in the spirit. I hope it's okay, but I want to challenge you this week. to ask yourself this in your prayer or maybe even in your journal. Three questions. Am I stewarding my wealth or just managing my money? Am I chasing fruit or being fruitful? And do I truly believe that God has given me the power to produce wealth or am I just trying to earn it on my own? Thank you so much for listening to the Rifle Owner Podcast. If this has blessed you at all, please subscribe and share. And I want to invite you personally to come join me in the Rifle Owner community on Patreon, where I would love to dive deeper into this episode with you. And remember, James 122 says, don't just be a hero of the word, but be a doer. Until next time, walk boldly and steward well. See ya.
