Oh, welcome in to the Casual Cast Live Podcast. We are going to be talking chaos all night here on the Casual Cast Live Podcast, the sports wagering community. I'm your host, Jay Ash, and I'm joined in a little two-man game and a three-man weave for producer Tyler by Jeff, your very punctual, very timely, very consistent host. Jeff, how are you doing?

SPEAKER_01

Doing all right, brother. How about you?

SPEAKER_00

Doing great. Doing great. We're a man down.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Another another Wednesday show, too. It's uh becoming a regular thing.

SPEAKER_00

You know, some people are clamoring for us just to go full time on Wednesday, so we might have to appease the audience. We'll have to check with all the uh significant others and schedules. But um, we did lose Bubba tonight. Um, just for everybody everybody that's curious, he's safe, he's okay. Um, he just had some prior commitments. So we're gonna miss him, but we're gonna enjoy the three-man weave we've got with producer Tyler. We're gonna talk a lot of basketball. And by a lot of basketball, I mean specifically March Madness, the NCAA tournament, or as I like to say, the best three weeks of the year from a sports calendar standpoint. So um we're gonna jump right into it. We we're we're gonna talk a wee bit about last night's disappointment for anybody that was watching the WBC. Um, but before we do that, we're gonna jump right into the talking tickets. So, producer Tyler, what do we got?

SPEAKER_02

Now, let's get into the tickets, boys. And we jump right into some college hoops. Um one buck ant the Discord was firing off this weekend with everything. Um we we started off with some conference play action, conference tournament action. So we had Wisconsin here, I believe this was on Saturday or Sunday, excuse me, Saturday, um, against Michigan. Um Wisconsin plus 12 and a half. They cover, as the game was a nail biter, um, almost won outright. Um Michigan ends up hitting a game winner at the buzzer, pretty much, to win the game. So um that's a W though. They're g getting 12.5 points, so 55-1 one buck ant. Uh a cool little 50 bucks there for one buck ant. But one buck ant wasn't just watching hoops, he was watching the ponies racing at Golf Stream Park and the fairgrounds. Um, two little winners here. Uh $21 winner and a $56 winner um uh at Golf Stream and and Fairgrounds. So One Buck Ant's got got his his tentacles are everywhere. Um, he's looking at everything. He's he's he also was throwing in um, I believe, some UFC picks this weekend. So um crazy. Um we got it all coming out. Um got VCU to beat Dayton and Arkansas to beat Vanderbilt. Pretty sure this is a good hit here. Um $50, one $128 for Rain Man. Um with both those teams winning. Um both those teams underdogs or both them favorites, plus 256.

SPEAKER_01

I don't yeah, not sure.

SPEAKER_02

I think VCU might have been a favorite, um, and Arkansas was probably a slight favorite of Andy.

SPEAKER_00

Um, they were kind VCU was a favorite, and Arkansas was catching extra two and a half.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, there you go. Um nice little W there. Yeah, very nice money. Um $50, one-on-one 28. Love it. Um unfortunately, um, we do have some losers. This was for last night's championship game with Aaron Judge to win the MVP, I believe this was. Um risking 200 to win 740. Um, unfortunately, Aaron Judge um did not have a great game, nor did anybody pretty much offensively for the USA team as they lose to Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic Championship game. So tough one there um for Rain Man. Um also had Yale minus two and a half um first half. And I believe this one hit. Um I think this was from Friday night, maybe. Um and I believe Rain Man did get some of his uh his loss from the Aaron Judge game back here uh with Yale. Um so that's on the positive note. We did have a couple good winners here in the golf world, and if you see golf, you know it's more than likely our man Jay Ash. Jay Ash had a nice little round three matchup with Scotty Scheffler, Joe Highsmith, Chris Godup, and Brooks Kepka to all win their individual matchups against um their opponents. $10. Nice little $400 plus victory there for Jay Ash. Love to see those, Jay.

SPEAKER_00

So do I. So do I. I wish they were uh consistent. There was certainly some fluctuation of my action this weekend.

SPEAKER_02

That'll happen. I believe you also had this one. Uh what is this, an eight-leg parlay here on uh I mean just craziness. We can't hit two-leg parlays and and bragging rights week to week. Um, but Jay just peels off and snipes uh an eight-leg parlay. Uh, who all did you have on here, Jay? You had um Akron, Houston, Old Miss, Duke, Yukon, San Diego State, Georgetown, and TCU. All get the job done, all cover when they needed to. Um, so great little $20 bet paid out 323. Awesome win there for Jay.

SPEAKER_00

It was nice. It was eclectic. Uh, a TCU game was a nail biter too. So it was a lot of fun.

SPEAKER_02

Well, we love it. We love to see it. Love to see it yes, we love to see it. Um, and again, everyone send us your tickets, send us it anyhow, anyway. Um, Discord is where we chop it up most of the time, but send it to us on Instagram, Twitter, um, anywhere you can find us, pretty much will send it to us. Um, and again, thank you for LastRep. Code Chaos at try last rep.com.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you, LastRep. All right, we uh we have we had a ticket in there for the WBC, and it was unfortunately an Aaron Judge ticket. So as two Yankee fans on camera here, I I know there was no shortage of text messaging and even some Discord talk last night about Aaron Judge just being the worst baseball player of all time. Um, you know, so uh I'm just gonna give my two cents real quick. It was great to see the the US team um put together a you know, a bunch of guys either in their prime, entering their prime, or you know, maybe on maybe on the back half of their prime, but still all-star caliber players, um, but more importantly, wanting to be there. And it was an interesting journey through it. The bats went cold the last couple games and continued to be cold last night. Um, Judge had a horrific performance. Um, just did did not did not look comfortable at the plate, did not look like he wanted to swing the bat, or when he did swing the bat, he just wasn't seeing the ball that night. Um and I just think it was a bad overlook overall loss. We had some pitchers on Venezuela that, you know, I I would assure you in the in the first five games of the season, they're not gonna pitch as well as they pitched last night against an you know an all-star caliber lineup. So I was just disappointed all around. We all watched the game, we were all messaging, and it was uh frustrating to watch. But I'm gonna get this out and I'll move on. Um, you know, congratulations, Venezuela. It obviously means more to the Latin American, South American, Central American countries than it does to this country. I'm not here to debate right or wrong. Um I heard Cunha say it was the best moment of his life. I got no issue with that whatsoever. Um I I do have an issue with people just repeatedly slamming Judge as if he was the only one it didn't hit um over the last two games and avoid the the conversation about the other you know X number of guys in that lineup that put up four runs over 18 innings. Um so we we know his numbers are down, um not where you want them to be in the playoffs, um, but again, got into a debate about postseason clutch. He's got the most home runs in elimination games. I don't know what else clutch means. Um could he do better? Sure. But uh this isn't a soapbox rant on let's defend judge. There's a lot of guys that spit the bit, shit the bed, however you want to phrase it, and march it, you know, more or less exhibition baseball. So let's let's calm down. The guy's still the rating MVP, he's still the best right-handed hitter, arguably, of all time, and most likely will be again barring injury this year. So everybody, here's a bag of ed up. Take it in, and um we'll we'll move on.

SPEAKER_01

Jeff? Yeah, I don't I don't have much to add. I mean, he had as you said, he he was awful yesterday, but pretty much everybody was uh outside of one hit from Harper, right? Um but Judge wasn't awful for the whole tournament. I mean, he you know he had some some big hits. Uh he made some big defensive plays. So uh and and again, let's not forget he had a monster playoff last year. You know what I mean? So um anyway, whatever. Uh enough of that. Uh you guys know my feelings when it comes to Judge. He's uh like you said, he's he's not been the same beast in the playoffs, you know, again, outside of last year's playoffs, um that he is in the regular season. But people acting like he's a complete scrub in the playoffs are just they're just kidding themselves. I mean, he still puts up numbers, he just doesn't put up the otherworldly numbers he has been in the regular seasons. So um Cal Raleigh, I don't even know if he had a hit. I think he might have had one hit. Um you know, Harper was a disaster before you know that one home run. You know, Bobby Witt had a really good uh tournament. Um, Anthony from the Sox had a good tournament, but other than that, the bats were really disappointing, you know, pretty much up and down the uh the lineup. So uh it's too bad. You know, I uh I saw an interesting take from Jason Stark today. Um he said what they should do is they should continue to play the uh like the round robin games um in spring training. You know, that that's sort of that that first round. Um and then once you uh advance to the quarterfinals, you know, so that's when it becomes uh you know, women uh lose and go home. Um they should wait and play those games during the all-star break because you could basically wipe that out over like a three-day period. You know what I mean? So, you know, app you play the all-star game and then um you know, maybe you get a day off, and then you play uh uh two you know, two uh uh quarterfinal games per day, you know, back to back like Thursday, Friday. You play the semifinals on Saturday, and you play the finals on Sunday. Um it is baseball, they're used to to playing every day anyway, so it's not you know, it's not like uh it's a big deal. So um I like that. I mean that that's one of the best solutions I've heard as far as you know how to make these games look more like real baseball um and not just uh pitchers throwing two or three innings and then getting yanked, you know. So um who knows if anybody's gonna take it seriously, but it is one of the better suggestions that I've seen. So uh like you said, congrats to Venezuela, and uh yes, uh uh you know, I think this country uh took it more serious this year than it had, you know, since this tournament started. Uh but we still are lagging way behind um all those Latin American countries. I mean, it's life and death to those to those countries, it seems like. So uh good for Venezuela. I would I was if if the US didn't win, I was rooting for Italy, but uh um you know their luck finally ran out, and uh you know, congrats to Venezuela if they deserve it. So there you go. All right. Tyler, any thoughts, Tyler?

SPEAKER_02

Uh pretty much echo Bryce Harper probably lucked out the most of everything by hitting one home run. So people aren't gonna talk as much about him having a dreadful I mean I mean, barely even put the ball in play, it felt like um most of the time. So he definitely lucked out, thought it was gonna be a huge moment. Um and it's probably gonna be the most forgotten home run of his career um at this point. Um even though he probably thought in the moment, wow, I just said that's probably the coolest thing I've ever done. Um so it sucks, but um Yeah, I mean I that that that suggestion with the All-Star game sounds cool. I think teams will still not want their big guys to go more than three reinnings because they're not gonna do that in the the all-star game. So there's there's just no good way to do it at the end of the day. There's gonna be that. So and it is what it is. Um it I saw someone talking about how it felt like the USA team was like playing all-star games versus all the other teams, they feel like they definitely come together more and feel more like team-centric. Um, which I do feel is kind of the way it it it comes off. Like the USA team just jogs out nine of you know the best guys in the league and they don't I mean they didn't put one little like run together of hit hit double, you know. Very it was if we don't hit a home run, if someone doesn't just hit a home run, then we're probably not gonna score. Um for the last four games, which you just when you're playing some of the best arms in baseball, it's just not gonna work at some point. So it is what it is. Move on. Good for Venezuela, very cool. I'm sure they will be partying it up um there. I saw some cool clips of of some people in Venezuela watching the game. Uh and awesome for them.

SPEAKER_01

I on the bright side, Japan didn't win and the Dominican Republic didn't win.

SPEAKER_02

So that that that some semifinal game was honestly one of the more fun games to watch, and it was very I I I was less interested almost in the final than I was in the semifinal. Um the semifinal felt big game feel. I don't know if it was because Skeens was on the mound, and it was that team's just got a ton of names on it, and but the star power in that game was awesome, and it was just a highly contested game the whole time, so it was very fun as well.

SPEAKER_01

Yep, no no doubt, no doubt. All right, well, three we we can talk about it again in three years.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. But we got hoops.

SPEAKER_01

Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Let's go. Let's go, let's go, let's go. Where do you want to start, Jeff? You want us to start and let everybody know there's this there's a tournament this weekend that starts and it goes for a couple weeks, and Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you're gonna be in front of TVs and talk like that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, unfortunately, we're not together in Atlantic City this weekend like we normally are, but uh, you know, uh, what are you gonna do? Uh life intervenes sometimes. So it does go.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, man. COVID couldn't even slow us down.

SPEAKER_01

I know. Yeah. Yeah. That was that was uh a unique experience that that year. But uh um yeah, man, I'm looking forward to it. I mean, again, we've we've talked about it. I mean, hopefully it's it's not too top heavy, and we we do see some upsets. Um I know last year was very chalky. I'm worried that this year is gonna be the same, but uh uh we'll see, you know. So what do you want to do? You want to uh you want to sort of pick one game from each region that we're looking forward to this weekend, or you want to start with our final four picks? What what do you think?

SPEAKER_00

Let's um let's do the the reverse, right? Let's let's do the the three-man weave here. We'll each pick a game and then we'll talk about final four and championship picks because we know Bubba sent them in, so we could just tie that together before we even get into categories and whatnot. So what we're looking to do here is we're gonna pick um one game out of the first two rounds. So that means we're gonna pick either a Thursday-Friday first round game, round of 32, I'm sorry, round of 64, or that we're gonna pick a um potential matchup Saturday and Sunday if the two teams we believe advance. Um we won't have the gambling odds for those games, obviously, because they won't be posted because they don't exist on paper quite yet. Um, but we can talk about the spreads for the Thursday, Friday games. We're gonna do one out of each division, um, keep it fluid so we're not here all night. So uh why don't you kick us off, Jeff?

SPEAKER_01

All right. Well, let's uh let's start in the west. I mean, usually, uh especially from from us being in the east, we would start in the east, but let's let's start in the west. Um I'm looking forward to uh a BYU Gonzaga matchup. Um uh, you know, for obvious reasons. I don't I don't think I have to go too deeply into that one. But uh, you know, on Gonzaga, you know, uh a perennial tournament team at this point. Um very good offense, good coach. Uh BYU, he's got the Banza. Um I have a feeling he's gonna have a monster tournament. He's actually been playing really well for the past, I don't know, well, he's been playing well all season, but he's been playing really well for like the past six weeks. So um I just have a feeling he's gonna have a monster tournament. So I'm looking forward to that game. And uh I do have BYU advancing, if anybody cares. I do think they're gonna get past Gonzaga. But uh that should be a really fun game.

SPEAKER_00

So I agree, that would have been on my list, but I don't want to piggyback off of you at all. Um I I will say this if you if you have a book that does allow for player futures, they're few and far between these days in college for sure. Um but if you do, typically an offshore book, I would look to bang some of his point totals and um, you know, over 25 point totals. I think he's gonna have a uh a monsters tournament as well. Um with that, I'm I'm actually looking forward to the high point Wisconsin game tomorrow night or tomorrow afternoon, rather. Um 12 vs 5, we we know that there's a long, long history of upsets in that you know particular matchup, the 12.5, I think we just read on ESPN 66% um winning percentage there. And the reason why I'm looking forward to it this year, obviously from a betting standpoint, it's a it's a nice value. Uh I believe high point's 11 and a half points right now, but plus 480, something along those lines. Um so I want to see them advance, but this for me is kind of nostalgic. I actually had high point last year in an upset, and it it was a you know, frantic game, came down to actually a buzzer beater, I believe. And um I want to see them advance this year. I like we when you when you check out that campus, it looks like you know, it reminds me of when Florida Golf Course made a run a couple years, you know, 10 years ago at this point, but it was like, wait, there's a school on the beach? Like what? And we when you when you see when you see high high point, it it's like out of Narnia or something. It's just like this little place, it just looks magical. So I like it.

SPEAKER_02

They give a free ice cream, they have like free ice cream trucks running around the the the campus. Like it's crazy.

SPEAKER_00

It's amazing.

SPEAKER_02

Crazy.

SPEAKER_00

So that's what I like out of the West.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Um for me, I I'm I'm kind of looking the next game from that Wisconsin game in round two. I think you got Arkansas, Wisconsin, um, potentially. Obviously, we don't we don't know if that's gonna happen, but if if both teams hold serve, um I think one of the most electric guards in the nation, if not the most electric guard in the nation, with uh um a cuff, I believe is how you say his name. Um dude's playing Unreal, literally pretty much willed them to win an SEC championship game. Um I mean, I think earlier this season dropped 50 in a game. Um so if you want to see a guy, you know, some people knock college basketball for um not being able to get your shot, and some guys struggle with that. Um you won't find that in that game with that guard. Um and Wisconsin again, I've talked about them. Um they almost did it to Michigan, and then they play in these big games, and they play better in big games versus you know, and Arkansas almost then them a high point. Um so to Jay's point, they they probably do have a chance to get upset. Um but I think also whoever wins that game's got a got a good little chance to go to a final four. Obviously, with they're gonna have to peel off another good team um down the road, but I think one of those teams is is in my final four, um, depending on who wins it. But you'll find out later who I got in my final four, who I think will win that. But that'll be a good big game for me in the West.

SPEAKER_00

Well, there's another guy again, be on the lookout for those um individual point toll. I don't think A Cup's actually positive. I don't think he scored less than 18 points in a game this year. So he can he can fill it up with the best of them.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you look at his numbers and it's just like, Jesus, dude. Like, what is it? They're NBA not like you don't usually see college guys dropping 35, 40 points. Like that doesn't just time doesn't happen, and getting your shot like that doesn't happen. So he's he's done it. So be fun to watch.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's the real deal. Um well Tyler, why don't you who who do you who do you looking forward to in the Midwest?

SPEAKER_02

Um Midwest. Um I'm interested if if Miami or Ohio can win tonight. Um if they can get into the tournament. Um they got Tennessee. Can they make a little splash of just, you know, can they get through to the next round? Can they get into a Saturday-Sunday matchup? Um and they would be playing a good UVA team potentially. Um so I I don't know if that's it probably ends there, maybe, but can they make the Cinderella run that they feel probably disrespected? They have to play in to the tournament. Um maybe they take that and and and and go at it. Obviously, we don't have that line yet because we have to see who gets into that game. Um, but that's one I'm I'm I got circled to a degree. Um interested to see if they actually show up um and play play hard and play well against uh a okay Tennessee team. I wouldn't say that you know, middle of the road SEC team. Um see if they can make a make a splash.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean they uh I mean obviously they lost their last game, but they they had a lot of nail biters before that, you know. So um I'm with I'm with you. It'll be curious to see if a uh a mid-road SCC team can can uh you know put the boots to them. So uh exactly.

SPEAKER_02

And they gotta get through SMU. There's no like complete slouch. I mean, they're not I mean again.

SPEAKER_01

No, I yeah, I wouldn't be shocked if they lost that game too. Yeah, I'm I'm with you. Um all right. For me, um, I guess I guess we'll just snake it back. For me, uh Midwest, I got and this is probably not surprising, but again, this is another uh second round matchup, uh Iowa State versus Kentucky. Um Kentucky has been on a roller coaster all year, but they've been playing much better recently. They got the elite guard, which is always important in uh in these tournament games, and of course Iowa State's got Iowa State's got the elite, the elite defense. So um if if that matchup actually happens, I'll uh I'll certainly be watching it. And uh if I had a pick, I would probably take Iowa State to win that game, but uh it should be a fun one. Nice contrasting styles. So always uh always a nice uh nice fit for these tournament games. Ash, what do you got in the Midwest?

SPEAKER_00

I don't have Kentucky, Iowa State because I don't have Kentucky getting out of getting past Santa Clara. So um in the Midwest, this is kind of more of a selfish thing, more than a gambling thing, although I'll have something on both of these, I'm sure. But I'm I'm the this part of the bracket is in Tampa on Friday, Sunday matchup. So I'm gonna be going to the games on Sunday. So I'm I'm actually looking forward to the Sunday game. Either with I I think Akron can upset Texas Tech, but I also think Hofster can upset Bama. I wouldn't mind two upsets, but I just want to see either a 12 or a 13 play the four or five. So kind of play a little Russian roulette with with Hofster or Akron, one of those two teams too advanced to play the other. Um I just think it's gonna be super competitive, fun matchup. You know, Texas Tech's resume will probably surprise people with the quality wins they have. I mean, they've beaten Iowa State, they've beaten Arizona, they've beaten Houston, they've beaten Duke. Um so they they've beaten some big, big boys. Uh it just shows you the strength of the Big 12 this year. But um Bama losing their second scorer, as we talked about, or you know, second leading scorer. Akron is sneaky and Hofstra is sneaky. So I just think it's gonna be a fun little four, you know, two-game, four-game uh stretch there in that side of the bracket. So that's my answer.

SPEAKER_01

All right. And uh who do you like uh in the east or the south?

SPEAKER_00

Um let's swing over. Do the south first.

SPEAKER_02

Do the south first because that lot that last bracket in the the east is just too good not to talk about last.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's fine. Um I'm actually looking forward to another potential 12-5 upset. I I I've got Vandy going you know fairly deep in the tournament, but I want to watch the McNeese State game. Uh McNey State's one of those teams that on paper, most people don't know anything about them, but you you start digging in a little bit and then you start listening to the Jay Billises of the world give you some stats, you're like, oh wait, this team's really good on paper. So it's just interesting to see if Vanderbilt, obviously, you you can't make the run they just did in the SEC tournament and say they're not for real, but it's just one of those teams that feels like they're they're very gettable. Um, so I want to see if they're gonna, you know, blow past the 512, you know, call it curse or however you want to phrase that um trend and then make a little bit of a run and meet up with Florida again, or even get past Florida. So I'm looking forward to that game.

SPEAKER_01

All right, Tyler?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I'm looking uh first round matchup. Um Nebraska Troy. Uh Nebraska's never won a NCA tournament game in in basketball. Um, so they got a great opportunity, had a good year this year. Um so trying to get the monkey off their back, and uh I kind of like Troy. Um just to maybe just have a they have this curse around them um at Nebraska. So uh I'm interested to see how that all works out um in that Nebraska Troy game. Troy's got, I think they're getting 12 and a half um or so. Uh yeah, 12 and a half on the hard rock right now. So plus 600 money line probably will be on a card at some point.

SPEAKER_01

All right. Um I'm gonna go with another second round game. Um uh Illinois versus VCU, which means I got VCU beating North Carolina in the first round, and with North Carolina playing without their best player, I don't I don't think that would be all that shocking. Um VCU, uh, for those old enough to remember uh his father, Phil Martelli Jr., is the coach. Um they have a uh high-powered offense, um, top 20 per top 20 in the country in three-point percentage. So um, and of course, Illinois has one of the best offenses in the country, period. So uh that should be a high-scoring game, should be a fun game. Uh looking forward to it. Oh, and I guess uh yeah, I'll stick it back. Uh you know, the bracket that everybody, including I think all of us, think is the toughest, I should say the region is the East. Um maybe the game of the weekend, if it happens, is Kansas versus St. John's. Um, you know, Kansas obviously is another team that's been on a roller coaster all year, uh, partly because their best player is dealing with some sort of uh cramping issue that nobody can figure out, but it does sound like Peterson's gonna play. Uh St. John's um not the most gifted team offensively, but uh they play extremely hard. They're big, they're long, um, they're uh you know all over teams on defense, so they cause a lot of turnovers and um a lot of their points come off of offensive rebounds. So that's that should just be a uh a fun game. Uh very two very athletic teams. Uh there is some star power there. Um so yeah, look looking forward to that one. Um I I do hope um I do hope both those teams advance to the second round because I I'm really looking forward to that game.

SPEAKER_00

Be shocked if they didn't. Um I I don't see either team. I mean, again, I know that that St. John's is in that dreaded 512, but you know, as I've pointed out in three three sides of this bracket so far, there's some interesting 512 matchups that can definitely go one way or another. I don't think this is one of them. Um, and again, not to step on your game. I'm gonna pivot off of that. I'm looking forward to USF Michigan State. Um, I know we talked about it before we came on air. Obviously, a little Tampa bias here being down here in USF, did did get to catch them play in the in the last conference game, so I did get to see them live. Um and I think they can handle the inconsistency of the Michigan State team. Michigan State's obviously more talented. Um obviously they have a a coach with a a significantly better resume. Um, don't know if he's got another run in them. Michigan State made a really good run last year. Um the couple years leading up to that, they were getting bounced first and second round. So um think this might be a situation where they probably put it on North Dakota State, coming a little pumped up, and you know, USF could be the Cinderella darling this year as an 11 seed. Um good team, high, high shooting percentage, uh, or I should say high high shooting volume of three pointers, two kids with over 100 threes, if I'm not mistaken, Tyler. Yeah, yeah. Might be the first time that's ever happened in college. Um, at best, a second. So they're definitely not gonna be out of the game by much. So I'm I'm I'm looking forward to seeing that matchup.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, sir. Um I'm gonna go with game one. Ohio State TCU. Um just gets things going early. Um 1215 tip off tomorrow, so the juices will be flowing, excitement. Um, everyone's got a perfect bracket. It's the best day in college sports, in my opinion, or in sports maybe, um, in my opinion, with the Thursday, Friday. Those two days are just so much fun, just so much basketball. So I'm going with the one right off the jump, and I think TCU can win that game. Um Ohio State's been up and down, TCU's been kind of up and down-ish. Um I think some guys are saying Ohio State may be that kind of middle of the road team that can potentially make a run, but uh I don't. You gotta play Duke next round, so eesh. Um so I think this will just be fun. First game of the week. So you can start one and oh. So get get off the board quick. I think I'll probably go TCU. The line opened up at four and a half, minus four and a half Ohio State. It's down to two and a half. Um, so obviously um some money's moving around the line there. Um so interested to see what happens there. So exciting. 1215. Get it, get it going early, get it going for lunch.

SPEAKER_01

And like like you said, that that region is loaded. Go ahead, Jay. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_00

No, I was just gonna say it had to be plus 970 to get juices flowing and horned frogs in the same same tank. So I like it.

SPEAKER_01

I'm a fan of it. Um, I I I would be curious to see Ohio State play Duke if that if that did happen. Um Ohio State's so physical. Um uh Duke uh sounds like their center isn't gonna be ready this weekend. I know a lot of people were thinking he was gonna be back, but um, so they're a little underhanded. Um undermanned, I should say underhanded. They're a little undermanned. Um and then the other the other game, you know, just sort of a bonus pick is uh you know, UConn UCLA, if they end up meeting in the second round. Uh UCLA coming with their old our old friend uh Mick Cronin. Um never never liked that guy. He's a miserable guy. Um good coach, but miserable guy. So yeah, so uh that would be a good matchup um if it if it actually happens. So uh yeah, man. Look look, you know, looking forward to it. Should be a fun weekend.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, the uh that Duke uh Ohio State matchup, I think I want to say I saw an ESPN tweeted, uh, you know, all their analysts are giving their their takes and who's gonna upset who. I think Jay Billis is picking in his bracket, he has Ohio State beating Duke uh in that round. Which is Jay Billis not a Duke guy? So he's is he just not is he not just kind of reverse jinxing it almost of like let me let me say that they're not that good to maybe motivate the gentleman?

SPEAKER_00

I and I think they give Billis a lot of leeway. I don't think they script him. So if he he must see something and he must he must be less convinced of people coming back from injuries that other people, other talking heads are very optimistic about. And I I happen to catch the second half of three of Duke's games in the ACT tournament, and with with the exception of Boozer, it's not an impressive team. Um when they're 100% healthy, they're arguably the best team in the country, and they got the number one overall seed. Um we talked about it, and not to turn this into a you know a first take style segment, but you know, if if if UConn was the one seed and they were in this bracket as a one seed, I'd be fucking irate. Um and if you're a Duke fan, you've got to be too. It's a gauntlet. I mean, who whoever wins that, you know, I I don't know if Ohio State or TCU can beat them with with the injuries, but I I know that both Kansas and St. John's can. Yeah. And then whether it's whether it's Michigan State, whether it's UConn, I mean, it's a big fight to get out of that uh bracket. So that goes for UConn too as the two seed. Anybody else trying to get out. It's a it's a gauntlet. It's by far the toughest bracket on paper.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you're gonna be battered and bruised even if you get out of it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

A lot of good teams, but a lot of good coaches. I mean, also it's it's it's yeah, it's just loaded with good coaches.

SPEAKER_02

Like five Hall of Fame coaches in one little subsect.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Fun stuff. I'm excited for it.

SPEAKER_00

You want to go over our brackets?

SPEAKER_02

You want to throw our whole brackets up there?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, let's do it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So uh just quickly, um, I'll go over Bubba's here. So this is kind of one we'll talk about you know, final four here. Bubba's got Duke, so kind of echoing what we said, um, he thinks that they're the best team, clearly. Um Bubba's going with Duke, and as you can see down the line there, you think you can see what he thinks of Duke. Um, he's also going with Florida. Looks like he's going just chalk. He's going with the one seeds. He's going Florida, Michigan, Arizona, um, all to get into the Final Four. So he's going really chalky. Um and looking down the road, it looks like he went chalk pretty much a long way down here uh in his in his selection. So he's got all the ones um going to the final four this year.

SPEAKER_01

Interesting. I yeah, I uh I you'll see. Jeff, this is yours.

SPEAKER_02

Why don't you why don't you go on yours? I could have guessed that one.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean, uh, you know, it's funny, Ash and I were were talking before the pod started, and uh um it just felt wrong not to pick UConn. So uh I mean they they have a good team, they have plenty of talent, and and I'll I'll get into more as to why I think they have a legitimate chance when we talk about our final uh our final four teams. But uh like I said, I'm I'm very chalky here. I don't have a lot of upsets outside of maybe a handful in the first round. Um and then after that, it's it's pretty much higher seeds moving forward. I I just think I just think the the back half of the bracket is so weak this year. Um I expect you know the the teams that lived in the top 20 all season to to just move forward for the most part. So there's not this unfortunately it's not a very sexy bracket for me. There's not a lot to talk about.

SPEAKER_02

So I believe this is mine. Um I'm going with St. John's. Uh I'm going Ricky P to keep the hot streak alive, uh, them upset Duke and then set up a rematch, which I think will be like one of the greatest like Elite Eight games of all time. Like if they if they face off UConn and St. John's um for a fourth time, um that'll be just awesome. Obviously, I I will hope that Yukon um plays better down the stretch of that game to make it a little bit more tight. Um got away from them for sure on uh last Sunday. Um then I'm going with Houston, um, Michigan, and Arkansas. Um I said that Arkansas Wisconsin game's a game I got highlighted. I think whoever wins that game's got um uh a chance to make a run. Uh again, I I'm just going riding with Acuffs playing Unreal Basketball. Um if he can keep that guard place huge, if he can keep that hot streak alive um get himself into a final four, and Calapari needs probably a little run. Um more than he would probably admit um to people that he he needs that run to get going a little bit. Um he he hasn't made a run in a while, it feels like.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah, man. He's yeah, he's been I mean, he has struggled in the tournament for I don't know, at least a deck a decade now. I mean, he's been really rough.

SPEAKER_02

With a ton of talent, with a ton of talent.

SPEAKER_00

They went to the elite eight last year. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. But just saying they're they're not paying him probably for Elite Eight matchups, right? Um those Tyson Chicken people wanna want to get in that final four, want to get in the national championship conversation for sure. So this is just the next step in that, um, for sure, um, is what I'm thinking. And then um obviously think Michigan can can get the job done. Um watch them play in Wisconsin. Um one of the best teams in the nation for a good part of the year. Um I I think they got a good draw in who they have to play. Um I I don't think they can they're gonna see a ton, which can hurt you at some point if you're not really challenged. Um, but it's a tournament everyone gets challenged, even in a game that maybe you don't think that you can do out outside of Yukon a couple years ago when they just kind of like waxed everyone. Um you know, you get challenged um somewhere down the road there. Um so but I got Michigan uh taking home the the title this year. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Those are good days.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, what when UConn was just waxing everyone?

SPEAKER_00

Uh what a what a fun year.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, beat everyone by like 15.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, just you want to talk about a cash register.

SPEAKER_03

Whew, that was great.

SPEAKER_00

Um all right. Well, as you can see with my bracket a little bit, it's it's it's chalky, but it it starts off a little bumpy road for some. I've got two 12s advancing, I've got two 11s advancing, and I've got two tens advancing, and then I've got um order being restored, if you will. Um I I my elite eights are actually um one, two, one, two, one, two, one, two. Um, so I'm I'm looking forward to some some good games in the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight. Um, Tyler, I I I support your St. John's play. Um, but for in order for UConn to advance, I don't want to see a fourth matchup for obvious reasons. And most people, most people probably don't know this or want to believe it, but Yukon owns Duke. So I'd much rather see that matchup from the Duke side of things. Um I see Purdue. Um, I I watched that Michigan game and I was actually impressed with with Purdue and that big guy. Um, I think they're gonna squeeze by BYU because I think BYU does upset Gonzaga um in the lower brackets. I I'm fine with your Michigan play. I've got them going to the Elite Eight, but I've got Iowa State moving on from there. And then I've got a rematch of last year's championship in the other side of the bracket with Florida Houston in the Elite Eight. So we could kind of jump into the final fours if we want there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, one one thing I wanted to mention is uh it's pretty shitty that they got St. John's and Yukon in the same region. Um there's only there's only three big East teams in the whole tournament. They could have easily put all three of them in separate regions. I mean, there's really no reason for them to have to go head to head to get to the final four.

SPEAKER_00

So um I just I would be shocked if representatives from both schools, particularly Hurley and Patino, didn't get on the phone with somebody and just literally say, What the fuck?

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_00

There's absolutely no reason both of those teams needed to be in the East, and there's absolutely no reason why they had to be in, you know, in that bracket together. It just doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It really doesn't.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and especially especially since they sent St. John's, like you know, uh UConn's playing in Philadelphia, so at least they're playing local, but St. John's they sent away. So it's not even like they they could it's not even that they could say, well, we wanted to keep them you know close to home because uh for these first two rounds, I mean I I don't know where they are, but they're far away. I can't remember where they sent them, but it's not local. So anyway. Um all right, final four. So uh you guys just want to run through um who you picked. I mean, I know we sort of just talked about it, but um uh how about from an odds perspective?

SPEAKER_02

Uh they're in California, by the way. Yeah, I was about to say, I think they're going to California, Jeff. Like thanks for winning the big East. Don't fucking go as far away from your where you're from as you can.

SPEAKER_01

Makes no sense, man, at all. Um well I'll start since I we already touched on it. I got UConn going under the Final Four out of the East. I got them beating Duke. Um they were plus 625 to make the Final Four. Um here's the thing to keep in mind about UConn. Um there's a reason why they play so well in out of conference games and they tend to struggle in the Big East. Not that they struggled this year, but they they played a lot of close games where most people thought they were going to blow teams out. And it simply just comes down to their offense. Their offense is very intricate, um, it's very complicated. And when you're an out of conference team and you're not used to playing them twice a year, right? So all these big East teams have seen them now. You know, Hurley's been running the same offense basically for the past uh four seasons. So they know how to uh how to defend them. Plus, the Big East officials allow uh uh Big East teams to be much more physical than the teams are gonna be in this NCAA tournament. There's a lot of holding in the Big East, there's a lot of like uh, you know, shoulder it shoulder uh uh uh bumps, you know, in the paint and all that stuff when guys are trying to run through. So um UConn's offense is gonna look a lot better in the NCAA tournament than it has these past few weeks in the Big East, and that's generally why um you know they have such good success in this in the NCAA tournament. I mean, even last year um they almost beat Florida, who ended up winning the championship. And if we're being honest, they they should have beat Florida in the second round. So um, and and UConn was not very good last year. They're far better this year than they were last year. So anyway, uh that's that's the reason for me uh riding Yukon and like I said, plus 625 to get out of the East.

SPEAKER_00

So Tyler?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, um, I got St. John's. Um again, I just they're plus 900 to win the East. So obviously like that number too. Um but they just played so well in that in that game against UConn last. So their last sample uh is they just dominated. Um obviously they've lost to them earlier this season, so it's not like they they've you know completely dominated them through and through. Um and they've lost some games here and there, obviously, as well. So not not didn't go unscathed this year by any means, but um I just think that's a huge confidence builder to to win in the fashion that they did. So um I'm riding with the Johnnies, I'm riding with Ricky P. Wear the white suit, bring it all out, go full Italian on everyone. Um all these guys wearing quarter zips and shit, and Ricky P and Dan Hurley still rocking suits, keeping it, keeping it classy, um, which I love. So um, yeah, I'm rock I'm rocking with Ricky P. Plus 900.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I am curious. So see St. John's um they haven't they don't have a non-conference win against anybody that's in the tournament.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So um now again, that's that's back in November. They're they're a different team than they were back then. But uh yeah, I'm I'm curious to see how they play um, you know, outside of the Big East. So looking forward to it.

SPEAKER_00

All right. Well, my final four, like I said, is um it's chalky. It's uh I've got one number one in Arizona and I've got three number twos. So I've got Arizona and Iowa State. Um in a Big 12, not title rematch, but a rematch, um, semifinal rematch. Um I think Iowa State has a pretty clean bracket um until they get to Michigan. And I I think Iowa State can clamp Michigan a little bit. I think losing that shooter, Jeff, is a big deal for Michigan, um, especially down the stretch. And um Iowa State can actually light it up when they're on. So they've got a couple kids that shoot the ball and shoot the three in particular really well. Um Houston is a statistical darling, um, you know, very high in the Ken Pom ratings. All these teams are high in the Ken Pom ratings. UConn's actually the lowest um coming in at 11 um out of out of my final four, but the other three are all in the top eight. So um I've got UConn because hey, I'm a homer and I've been honking all season, so I've got to stay on brand here. Um I would not be shocked if um they they did get clipped. I just don't like the way they have been playing, but I couldn't agree with Jeff Moore. Um, you know, look at the reality is they they spotted Florida too big of a lead last year. Um there was one controversial play down the end of the stretch, but uh they easily could have beat Florida and who knows what um roles could have been reversed there if that was the case. So um I do have Arizona playing Yukon in the championship in a rematch where Yukon will be healthy this time, where they were missing two starters um against Arizona when they played earlier in the season. So uh I'm gonna take Yukon, but I I think any any four of these teams can win it. But I I've said it um a couple times on the pod the last few weeks. I think Arizona is the best team in the country. They've got a little bugaboo to get over. Same thing, you know, just school logo hasn't made a run in quite some time. They do have a championship under their belt, so it's not like the program's never been there before. Um, but I I think just from an overall team's perspective, they're as good as it gets. And you know, if UConn was to get upset by Houston, I would root for Houston in that championship game because I just think we're all rooting for um rooting for the coach there at this point.

SPEAKER_01

All right. Well, real quick, I got uh the the other three parts of the my final four are Florida, Arizona, and Michigan. Um I got uh like you, I got Yukon, uh, well, I got Yukon beating Florida, but I got Yukon going to the championship against Arizona. Um uh you know, Yukon, Florida would be a rematch from earlier this year. Yukon, Arizona would be, as you said, would be a rematch from earlier this year, and Yukon winning the title would be uh plus 2200. So um you know that they were, I think, plus 1400 when the season started. So the past couple weeks, the odds really jumped uh because they had that awful loss to Marquette, and then of course, like uh you guys talked about they got crushed by St. John. So um if you still believe in Yukon, there's a really nice number out there right now for you.

SPEAKER_00

So I I saw it at 30 to 1 in a hard rock.

SPEAKER_01

Wow, even better.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, and uh my round out mine as well. I have Arkansas, like I said, um I think they can make a run um going there. Theycuff, um they're plus a thousand to win the West. Um so 10 to 1 there for them. Uh Houston, everything you guys echoed. Um they are they're plus 200, and then Michigan as my eventual winner, but Michigan to make the um Final Force minus 150. Um that that if I if you put in that of St. John's, Arkansas, Houston, and Michigan, a dollar pays out 550. Um so obviously with with St. John's and Arkansas, they're big odds, but um never know. Some some of them make a run. Um that's where I'm going with with my cold hard cash.

SPEAKER_00

So well, I I could post this if we need to, um, but I'll I'll just get it out there. I I actually parlayed this Final Four matchup, and 50 is gonna pay $5,922. Beautiful. So let's call that a hundred and one hundred and eleven to one.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I like it. All right, man. Gonna be fun. Looking forward to it.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I can't wait. Can't wait. All right, let's get into the categories.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, let's do it. Right. Um so Bubba, I mean, uh Tyler, you got double duty because you'll be uh filling in for Bubba as well. Um so lock of the week. Um last week I had uh Denver minus six and a half. Uh that came in. Um this week uh I'm gonna stick with the college basketball theme. I got BYU minus two and a half versus Texas. So uh I think like I said, I think the bounce is gonna have a really big tournament. Texas has been struggling for a while now, so minus two and a half BYU.

SPEAKER_00

I like that. I like it a lot. I looked at it and uh I don't know why I veered away from it, but I I did putting this together this morning. I went with Kansas, uh, minus 14. I usually wouldn't call that a lock with a big number. I just don't see it, and I think Peterson's gonna have one of those games. If I'm wrong, then they won't cover. If I'm right, I think they went by 20 plus.

SPEAKER_02

Bubba has you uh Georgia, Georgia minus two is his lock of the week. Um don't have the logic behind it, he just likes the dogs, I guess. Um so he's going with Georgia. Um, I am going with one that I saw online um that uh Yukon Furman over 135 and a half. Um and the reason why is because um and you gotta bear with me here, there's a sweet spot apparently um in in the overs. Uh this is 18 and 1 since 2014, this scenario. Um 11-0 since 2021. So um the when the spread is 15 plus and the total falls between 135 and 137. So obviously pretty particular, but there's three of those matchups this week. Um, so Yukon Furman, Houston, Idaho, Duke, Siena. Um so all those lines fall within those criteria um of what you'd be looking at, and I'll and I'll just ride with the Yukon game. Yukon get hot. Uh, they couldn't have played worse offensively last game, so I assume they're gonna play much better this game, so I'll take the over in their game.

SPEAKER_00

Um that's got part written all over it, those three games.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean St. John shot, I think, four for nineteen from three in that big East Championship game, and Yukon somehow shot the ball even worse from three. So uh yeah, they're they're they're you know, they're uh they're they're certainly looking at a bounce back, hopefully.

SPEAKER_02

So um where we want to go next, prop or underdog?

SPEAKER_01

Uh prop.

SPEAKER_02

Proper all right. Uh I'll go over Bubba's prop of the week is Cam Boozer over 22 and a half points. Um in his game, uh that's minus 120 um for boozer, Cam Boozer to go over 22 and a half. I get nervous with those pro like if I was actually able to bet some of that stuff just because um your team goes up huge and you come out of the game, you know. I just get nervous with that shit. Now he could be the one to go off.

SPEAKER_00

No, let's call it what it is. It's a lazy, it's a lazy pick. It's my it's minus odds, it's minus 120. Um let's have some fun with our prop bets on this show. Let's not try to do chalk, but I couldn't agree with you more. There's no reason that Cam Boozer should be playing a whole game against Sienna. That game should get out of control early. So Bubba's logic is probably he just dominates the first half and you know, comes out, hits a couple shots in a second, they're up 25, and he sits.

SPEAKER_02

So um, and I am going with one on the hard rock. It was a um not not really a prop, but it's just kind of a special going on. Um, so I'll call it a prop. But any three team, Florida teams to win a round one game. Um so you have Miami, you have USF, you have UCF, and you have Florida. So three of those four teams getting a round one win plays out plus money. So plus one forty-five. Yeah. Plus plus one forty-five.

SPEAKER_00

Um yeah, I'm hammering that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's a fun one. Um there for any three of the Florida teams to win one round. Or win round one. I think I think you got a guarantee in Florida. Obviously, everyone's talking about USF being upset potential. Um now on the flip side of that, everyone's picking, I think, Miami to lose their their their matchup. Um, but UCF can can potentially upset UCLA. So um, so it'll be fun.

SPEAKER_00

I actually have all four of them went in my packet. I do too.

SPEAKER_02

I do too.

SPEAKER_00

I I wasn't necessarily gonna bet all four of those games, but that that this is tasty. Yeah. A little treat, a little tasty treat.

SPEAKER_02

That's what you get here at uh Casual Chaos Podcast.

SPEAKER_00

I like it.

SPEAKER_02

Treats.

SPEAKER_00

All right. Um for my prop, before my prop, I had FAU last week, minus one and a half that came in. I forgot to mention that. Um and I and I like to mention it because my prop did not come in last week. I had Ricky Fowler plus 350. So I'd like to thank Ricky and every other golfer I had in the top 10 last week for just looking directly on the screen every now and then and giving me two middle fingers. Um I missed every top 10 play I had last week. It was a drubbing. It's the first time that's happened in quite some time. Um maybe curl up in a ball, maybe uh maybe maybe make some new life choices. So I just came right back and hit top 10 again in golf with Ben Griffin plus 390 this week at Innisbrook. I think um I'm gonna take the iron play, I'm gonna take the shot play, and I'm gonna get a nice juicy number and a guy that should play pretty well on this golf course. So that's my that's my prop.

SPEAKER_01

All right. Uh last week I had Carl Anthony Towns to score at least 21 points, and he did score exactly 21 points, so that came in. Um this week I have uh Jaden McDaniels of the T-Wolves to hit at least two threes. Uh that pays out plus 120. Um kind of an odd pick for me, but uh the reasoning is uh Edwards isn't playing. So there's just going to be more shots to go around for those guys. So uh, you know, I got uh McDaniels hitting uh hitting two threes. Um and then for my uh my dog, um last week I had uh Georgetown plus 105 that actually hit. So I actually went three for three on the segment last week, which is rare for me. Um this week um I got a big dog, um Hostra plus 550 to beat Bama. Um Bama playing without their second best player, their second uh leading scorer. Hostra's been on a hot stretch uh recently, and um selfishly it's uh uh my alma mater. So uh just hoping for a little uh first first round magic from Hostra plus 550.

SPEAKER_00

I like it. I like it. All right. My dog of the week is gonna be tomorrow. We already talked about it. I've got USF plus 180. Um I like it. I like it a lot. Um, I think Louisville struggled in the tournament. Um, we talked about it beforehand, and they're a man down as well. Um, coach has a iffy track record, to say the least, in the tournament. So I think the cards are aligned, and I think the USF team's pretty fired up conference champion, um, both regular season and tournament champion. So I think they're riding some momentum. I think they got some good leadership. I think they're gonna shoot the ball um above 35% um and win this game.

SPEAKER_02

Very nice. Bubba's right there with you, Jay. I don't know if you like that or not, but Bubba's right there with you. Um, so he's riding with the Bulls. Um, I'll also be on the Bulls. I I I figured you guys would pick that, so I'm I'm kind of just going a different direction just to give something else out. But yeah, USF's been they've won a lot of games straight. Um, they haven't lost since uh January, um, I think. Um so it it's been a while since they lost, which you'd love to see. Um if you're if you're going in the tournament, not remembering your last loss is a good feeling, I'm sure. Um I'm going with a team that has lost a ton in the NCA tournament. Um I'm going with Troy to beat Nebraska and keep their undefeated or unwinless streak of uh the NCA tournament wins uh to zero. Uh so I'm going with Troy, their plus six hundred uh to beat Nebraska. Uh and I'm strictly going off history. Just they've never won one. Let's just keep riding them, never get never getting one. I had I had the Miami to beat uh Louisville last week in my underdog, which did come in. Um and then uh my prop didn't come in. Two home ones, only got one, and then um my my lock was uh the lightning to get to bounce back and get a win. They did get a win in that uh game, so I went two of three last week.

SPEAKER_00

Alright. Let's move out of Bragg Rights.

SPEAKER_01

Alrighty. Yeah, we actually have some good news this week.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, do we?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's exciting. That's exciting. What do we got here? This one, uh, is this the winner? Got UCF, BYU, FAU, and Georgetown. Oh, yes, sir. Bang bang. Boom, boom. Love it.

SPEAKER_00

Is that six hundred dollars that way?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, just over six hundred.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Very nice.

SPEAKER_00

That was a stressful game, too. Um to watch because I needed um oh the plus five and a half there. And the situation, I've I've been in that situation at minimum a hundred times, and I've lost 99 out of 100 of them. Um, I I have no idea how they covered the five and a half. I have no idea how they hit the three-pointer um down the stretch to to cut it. Um, it was just uh I got very lucky to say the least, but uh everybody else came in with flying colors, so I'll take this, I'll take the sweat, I'll take the win, and I'll take the bragging race victory. It was lovely.

SPEAKER_01

Very nice.

SPEAKER_02

Beautiful. Well, let's get just we don't even have to if go into the other guys if if we don't want to. Um no need to talk about the bad stuff. Let's keep on the high note and let's look forward to the next high note of this week. So is this one UJ? I see USF in there.

SPEAKER_00

Indeed. Indeed, it is. So this is an all-Thursday matchup, um, relatively early games as well. Um USF Moneyline. Um, I'll be playing them with the points straight up just to cover. Um, but I like them to juice this up a little bit from an odd standpoint. Um, I already talked about high point um with a moneyline parlay as well, but I'm gonna take the points here plus ten and a half. I like VCU on the floor as well, but I'll take the points here plus two and a half, and I like Akron on the floor, but I'm gonna take the points as well plus seven and a half. And 25 is gonna pay a nice 463, 17.5 to 1. Um, and I shouldn't I should be good by 6 p.m. tomorrow knowing if this caches or not.

SPEAKER_02

Beautiful. Love it.

SPEAKER_00

I take that back. VCU's at 650. I don't know how to tell time.

SPEAKER_02

Jeff, I believe this one's yours.

SPEAKER_01

It is, and this one is uh, you know, not not the longest odds in the world, but uh I went all MBA. I got uh Pelicans on the money line, uh uh playing at home versus the Clippers. I got the Lakers also on the money line. They're on the road against the Rockets. The Rockets have been kind of a mess recently, and the Lakers have been playing really well. So I got the Lakers winning outright on the road. Uh Dunham McClingen to have uh at least 13 rebounds tonight uh against the Indiana Pacers, and uh Jalen Brown from the Celtics to have uh at least five assists. So 25 would pay 263. It's uh plus 954. So uh probably one of my lowest uh as far as an odds perspective, probably one of my the lowest ones I've thrown up there, but uh hopefully it comes through. I won't complain.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Very nice. And then Bubba's um he does have USF plus four and a half tomorrow night, uh tomorrow afternoon, excuse me. Um again, Georgia was his lock. Um he's going with Georgia money line here, not the minus two and a half um that he had on the um our categories, and then Duke spread minus one or minus twenty-eight um in that line against Sienna. And then he's also got UNC money line. Um so his is twenty-five dollars. It's very similar to Jeff's uh $25 pays out $227 for that one there for Bubba.

SPEAKER_01

All right, good luck to us.

SPEAKER_00
