We are located in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, and we hope to utilize this platform to play some small role in carrying the gospel from our neck of the woods to the ears of those beyond our community and to the ends of the earth!

Matthew 17:14-21; Mark 9:17-27
In the face of trying times for today's church, we must learn to have the type of faith that Jesus describes in these texts. Many of us have probably heard a sermon out of these passages about "the faith that moves mountains." Troy takes this passage from a different perspective that we hope will challenge your own personal walk of faith. This was a hard sermon to preach as well as to hear. Much of this message is specific to the context which Bald Mountain Church is currently facing, but anyone can take the truth that Troy delivers out of this passage and apply it their own ministries.
The calling for every Christian is to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. Well, where does the earth begin and where does it end? For us at Bald Mountain Baptist Church, the world begins in the Shumont Community on top of a little peak in Buncombe County, NC. Our prayer is that through this platform we might do our part in reaching the ends of the earth with the gospel!

We unfortunately began recording part-way through a long series on prayer, but have since moved out of that series and are on to wherever the Lord leads next. Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
