In this very special episode, students from 4A are joined by Mr. Michael McInerney, whose connection to St. Flannan’s College spans decades. A student here in the 1970s, a staff member since 1984, and Deputy Principal from 2009, Mr. McInerney has dedicated much of his life to the school.
He shares what first brought him to St. Flannan’s College, the deep pride felt by staff and students alike, and even reveals that he chose ‘Flannan’ as his Confirmation name—a true testament to his bond with the college. From cherished memories to legendary Dr. Harty Cup victories, Mr. McInerney offers heartfelt reflections and fascinating insights into the school’s rich history and culture.
