Sisters: Latter-Day Voices
Hi! We are sisters, Candice and Clare, and we are active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints who are looking forward to connecting with like-minded people about how to strengthen our testimonies of Jesus Christ and follow Him better.
We do not claim to be scholars or perfect members and Latter-Day Voices acknowledges that not every journey looks the same. By having honest conversations about our trials and triumphs, sharing and learning from life experiences, we can hopefully find the joy in this journey of life. This podcast is a place for connection, understanding, and strengthening faith through our Savior, Jesus Christ.

A Missionary in the Making: Learning to Climb When the Stone Won’t Move
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This week on Sisters with Latter-day Voices, we’re joined by Sister Sarah Wilding, now currently serving as a missionary. This episode was recorded before she left, while she was still in the thick of preparing for her mission and navigating a really hard season.
Sarah opens up about illness, unmet goals, and learning to trust God when things don’t turn out the way you hoped. She shares a powerful story about pushing a stone and climbing a ladder, and how God cares less about the outcome and more about who we become along the way.
This conversation is for anyone who feels stuck, discouraged, or like they’re doing everything right and still not seeing results. If you’re preparing for a mission, or just trying to keep going when the climb feels heavy, this one’s for you.
