A “dry” genealogy in Matthew 1 turned out to be the very bridge that connected the Old Testament to the New for a skeptical reader. What started as a list of names became a powerful reminder that Jesus’ messy family tree—full of saints, sinners, kings, and outcasts—was God’s intentional way of showing His grace is for everyone. No matter your past, Jesus stepped into our brokenness to redeem and restore.
