A 30-foot owl in the woods gets labeled “Moloch” online like it’s settled fact but the ancient record is a lot less dramatic and a lot more interesting. We sit down with Derek P. Gilbert to separate viral mythology from primary sources, and to track how names like Molech, Milcom, El, Kronos, and Saturn echo across the ancient Near East. Along the way, Derek explains why owl imagery actually shows up with figures like Ishtar, Inanna, and Astarte rather than with Molech, and why accuracy matters if we’re going to talk about spiritual warfare with integrity.

We also zoom out to the divine council worldview (Psalm 82, Job 1–2, 1 Kings 22) and what it changes about how we read the Bible. Derek connects the unseen realm to the problem of evil through the lens of free will, then brings it down to everyday discipleship: don’t confuse cable-news theater with the real battle, and don’t outsource discernment to politicians, trends, or fear. We keep it practical with Ephesians 6, prayer, wisdom, and staying anchored in Scripture.

Finally, we tackle the rising “divine feminine” messaging in modern UFO culture and why it often tries to borrow Christian language to feel familiar. If public UFO disclosure triggers an ontological shock, Derek’s pastoral counsel is simple and steady: Genesis 1 already tells us who we are, image bearers of God, no matter what shows up on the White House lawn. Welcome And Guest Introduction

SPEAKER_01

Hey, welcome to Blood and Oil. We have a fantastic guest today, Mr. Derek P. Gilbert. He is a host on Skywatch Television, best known for programs like five and ten. He is uh one of the original Christian podcasters. So um, you know, uh uh head nod to one of the OGs in the space. Um, he he does a uh a lot of work, him and his wife on um prophecy and in particular uh got his world upset by Dr. Michael Heiser and set into this zone of we were just talking offline, the the woo-woo zone or the the divine council worldview for any scholars who are paying attention and uh and we were laughing. Uh we we think there might be a new woo um arriving on the scene. And uh so Derek, thank you so much for showing up. We're we're just so grateful that you're here. I've been watching you for a while. Um, I think my first exposure to you was on end time headlines, and and I was listening to you do all the uh etymological stuff that you do. And I was like, I don't know if I can go with that. So I'm gonna be honest, you know, I was like, ah, maybe, maybe not. And so I started digging in. And matter of fact, the the book that I wrote a couple years ago, I quoted you and it. You and I have had a few conversations offline. Um, and uh uh and I found the inscription, um, the document for the inscription of the the uh uh Bale connection to Zeus. And I was like, there it is, sure enough. And uh and I've just come to respect your work so much. I I listen to the Iron Myth regularly, and um I I uh I'm very grateful for your ministry. I'm grateful for the niche that God has put you in. I'm and I'm I'm grateful that God has breathed his spirit freshly on what you're doing. And I hope, I hope to encourage you that there are Pentecostal pastors, many of them are not scholars, but this one is, and and I am digging into the stuff that that you're doing regularly. And so keep it up, please. Don't don't stop. Um so we're so glad to have you today. Derek, if if you had a few words to talk about uh your relationship with Jesus and plug your wife,

Derek's Faith Turnaround Story

SPEAKER_01

what would you say?

SPEAKER_02

Well, I would say that it was because of her that I started digging deeper into scripture. When we first met, um, I was just coming out of a divorce. And um I'll be honest, I I really had been raised going to church, been raised in very liturgical uh denominations, uh, you know, high church, you know, all organ music, and no shouting amen or preach it, brother, because that was considered disrespectful. But by the time I got into my 30s, I was probably more of a universalist than anything else. Wow. My my first wife, uh my ex-wife, is uh Roman Catholic. And so knowing her personality that she wasn't going to become a Protestant, I actually converted because I didn't have enough theological framework to understand the difference. I mean, it sounds crazy, but uh, you know, for anyone who's done any looking at the differences between uh Roman Catholic doctrine and and Protestant doctrine, but you know, that's where I was. It was like, yeah, I don't want to offend anybody, don't want to make her mad. So yeah, it's just okay. And when we divorced, I got into the Bible to try to prove text why I was right and she was wrong. And that's really not a good motivation for reading scripture, but the Holy Spirit took it and used it in the right way. Because one night I remember waking up in the middle of the night, um, and I had physical custody custody of our daughter, who was six years old at the time. And I remember thinking, how can I explain to her what's right and wrong when I don't know why I believe what's right and what's wrong? The Bible's a good moral framework, but what if it's not true? How do I know if it's true or not? Well, then I started digging and got into books like uh The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel, Evidence of Advance V Verdict by uh Josh McDowell and some others, and found that, yeah, there really is good archaeological and textual epigrapher evidence for the truth claims of the Bible, the Old Testament and the New Testament. Really what sealed it for me was reading in uh 1 Corinthians 15, uh where Paul that's such an amazing chapter of scripture, Paul summarizes the gospel by which we're saved in like three verses. Then he gives the apologetics. Uh, yeah, he appeared first to uh Peter, although, you know, of course he appeared first to the women, appeared first to Peter, then to James, then to the rest of the twelve, then to five hundred brothers it was. But I remembered reading in the book of Galatians, or rather the book of John, the Gospel of John, chapter seven, verse five, even his brothers didn't believe in him. So something pretty significant happened between Jesus going to Jerusalem and James being martyred 30 years later, which is recorded by the Pharisee Josephus, who had no reason or motive to uh testify to the truth claims of Christians that James had been martyred. Why would he be willing to die rather than say, okay, we made it all up, my brother wasn't really. No, it's because 1 Corinthians 15, he saw his brother after he'd been crucified. And for me, it was like I remember very it was like the whole world you know flipped on its axis. But even then, there was a there was a period of of growth because Sharon will tell you that when we first met, I was still telling her, well, there's no real contradiction between Darwinian evolution and the book of Genesis. Well, you've come a long way. Yeah. So, anyways, uh that's it in a nutshell. She's been very patient with me over these last 28 years. We married uh 28 and a half years ago. In fact, it was just about uh next month this time that we exchanged our first email. Uh anyway, uh it was I I guess I've always wanted to know the way things work, why things work the way they do. Uh maybe that's that one bit of the engineers gene that I inherited from my dad, because when it comes to doing the math, you need to know to become an engineer. But that led to our podcast beginning in 2005, which grew grew out of uh uh the writing that we were doing. We started a fictional series, a fiction series around 2003 called the Laodicea Chronicles, and had a Christian publisher lined up, but they got real nervous when they started to seeing things like UFOs and crop circles. And I think what really set them over the edge was when I started including things like uh government conspiracies, Rex 84 and FEMA camps. Government conspiracies weren't as popular during the George W. Bush administration as they were during the Clinton administration, we found out. So we parted ways with publisher. Uh, but that led us to start podcasting, our podcast, PID Radio. Uh you you mentioned we're the OGs of podcasting, which you know, somebody said that to us last year, and we had to look it up because that's how old we are. We didn't know what OG meant. We thought it meant old geezers. Um we we started podcasting in March of 2005 when most people didn't know what podcast what a podcast was. Tom Horn told us later. First time he ever heard the word was when we got in touch with him around fall of 2005. He said, We'd like to invite you to be on our podcast. He's and asked Joe, his son, what's a podcast? Joe didn't know either. So we've been doing this for a while, but he grew out of, you know, trying to tell people why they should buy our books. You know, episode one, buy our books. Okay, what do we do next week? Uh well, maybe we can start, you know, talking about why we write what we write. And that led to contacting people early on, like Dr. Michael Heiser, come on, L.A. Marzuli, and people like that. And what we learned from them uh really changed the course of our lives because you know, we had it not been for them, I would probably still be selling steel and yeah, you know, doing well. The company I worked for when we left Illinois and came here 11 years ago, liked me real well and uh compensated well. You know, at the at the end of your life, you want to look back and see and you what do you want to leave behind as a legacy? And um, it's not books, it's not, hey, I went on so many podcasts or produced how many episodes of popcasts by partnering with Skywatch TV, the work that we've done through Whispering Ponies Ranch and that ministry, where Joe Horn, Tom and Nita Horn, the founders of the ranch, Nita's still the CEO of the ranch, offering that facility at no charge to uh ministries like uh Royal Family Kids for the children, team reach at no no cost, uh to try to change the course of lives of children who are at much greater risk for getting involved in drugs and prostitution and gang violence and things like this. Um, you know, at the end of the day, all of what we do is to try to finance that. Amen. And uh so the the Lord used my anger coming out of the divorce and you know, changed the course of my thinking, my life, and led us into a place now where I can look back and say, okay, I can see what I why that happened. I mean, it's not that the Lord wanted the divorce to happen. It's he used the sports analogy. You know, you don't always roll a strike, but sometimes the Lord will help you pick up the spare, you know. And um, I think I think in this case, uh the Lord has used that and turned it for good. So that in a nutshell is the last uh 30 years of my life.

SPEAKER_01

Amen. Amen.

Bohemian Grove Owl And Molech

SPEAKER_01

So one of the reasons uh why I reached out to you in particular is um it the the way that you've traced these uh these entities all the way from Samaria and Akkadia and ancient Mesopotamia um and and west into uh through you know Persia and Greece and Babylon, etc. And uh like I've followed that um significantly and it and it seems like we're we're even today, you know, I've I've the some of the stuff that you guys have done and Tom has done um and even our you know friend Jamie Walden uh dug into on the uh the um Mason um underpinnings of a lot of stuff in America and these are the same entities just with a new face and you know shopping around the the same spirit with a different name. Um we are um glory to God or uh yeah, glory to God because we're doing good ministry. Um we are literally two and a half miles away from the Bohemian Grove where I'm yeah. So I I I one of the other things I do, I pastor church here and and I'm also uh a fishing guide on the river here that runs right by it. And so I I'm constantly every winter and summer going right by the border of their property, and you can feel like the just the e bejeebies when you go by, like something's looking at you, but there's nothing in the trees, and you know, they got security, but then you know, there's spiritual overtones. And you know, I I we've got people that uh go to church with us who work there because they're a pretty big outfit, you know, and they hire local cooks and stuff to do barbecues and things like that. And um, but there's a lot of a lot of mystique and and in addition, a lot of urban legends that surround it. And one of the uh one of the things that that is the present urban legend that surrounds it is that uh a lot of the conspiracy theorists want to call the owl effigy that's there, and it's there, it's about 30 foot tall, uh, and and it's fake. It's not, you know, it it wasn't there originally. It's it's got like a uh wooden framework on the inside and it's overlaid, I think, with uh with concrete or something. But um they've the the word in the conspiracy realm is that it's Moloch. And it is an owl effigy, so it's it's got a a squat little owl-esque head on the top of it. Um and I I was looking back trying to figure out, you know, is there any place in the the ancient connections between the owl and Moloch? So you're you're the guy. Um tell us tell us anything you might know or or any interesting things or connections that may be there, or you know, confirm, yeah, that's a bunch of hoopla.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I'll tell you the guy is uh that the the real guy, as far as Moloch is concerned, is a German scholar by the name of George Haider, H-E-I-D-E-R, which caused some confusion in my book, uh, The Second Coming of Saturn, because I cited both George Haider and Mike Heiser. So uh one or two of the footnotes got confused because the uh typesetter uh I think thought I meant Heiser when I actually meant Haider. He wrote a book called uh The Cult of Molech and spelled it M-O-L-E-K, a reassessment. And that's now available, by the way, for any of your viewers who might have the Lagos Bible software or interested in reading a deep dive into Molech, which is really interesting because he goes into primary sources, you know, Canaanite, Phoenician, of course, the biblical sources, and he traces references to this entity going back to the the uh the Akkadians, uh the ancient uh Amorite kingdom of Ebla in northern Syria. And I cite a lot of those sources in the second coming of Saturn. Um Molech in the Hebrew is just a twisting of the Ammonite name for their national deity, Milcom, and Milcom of the Ammonites, referred to in 1 Kings, I think 1 Kings 17, if I remember correctly, is uh referred to as the abomination of the Ammonites. But the Hebrews would change names of uh pagan deities like Baal or Baal, um changed it to Boshet, meaning shameful thing. So, for example, the son of Saul, his heir, uh after Jonathan was killed, of course, in battle with the Philistines, was uh Ish Baal or Ish Bosheth in the Bible, which means man not of Baal, but man of a shameful thing. Uh Astarte becomes Ashtareth. Uh so instead of Astarte, which is Ishtar, Inanna for the Sumerian name, uh she becomes Ashtareth. Again, shameful thing. So Milcom in the Hebrew becomes Molech, shameful thing. And in the second coming to Saturn, I show you know, piece together all the uh textual evidence from the ancient world to show that Milkan of the Ammonites was El of the Canaanites, who was Dagon of the Philistines, who was Anil of the Babylonians and Akkadians, and the Sumerians, and the Kronos of the Greeks, Saturn, the Roman, just all over in the ancient world. It's just that because we don't have these god lists in front of us, when we see these names, we don't connect them all. Um so this entity, Molech, has a much longer um career than most people realize, and was scattered across far more territory than just ancient Israel. I mean, the these the Phoenicians were sacrificing to him under the name Baal Haman, not to be confused with Baal the storm god, different, you know, Lord. But when you read through George Hyder's book, again, in this deep dive into this character, you don't find the world owl once. So uh long answer to your question, but no, there is no connection to between the owl and this entity uh anywhere in the ancient world. Uh, where you do see owls connected to an entity is with Ishtar, Inana, Astarte, and known by a number of other names as well, but uh especially in uh Babylon and uh the the region of ancient Akkad, which is around modern Baghdad in Iraq, um there's a very famous inscription called the uh the Bernie inscription, which is a woman um nude uh with like owled feet, standing on a lion with an owl on a shoulder. And um we actually uh it's I think that's at the British Museum. Um, but pictures of it are all over the place. That is a representation of Inana, Ishtar, Astarte, Aphrodite, etc. She is connected with owls, and there are owls connected to other deities uh from the pagan world. Moloch is not one of them. You know, Sharon and I were talking about the Bohemian Grove back in 2005 and 2006 on P.I.D. In fact, we just uh posted a throwback Thursday episode from from back then, which which had references to uh Alex Jones breaking in the Bohemian Grove and getting some video. Um don't know why they called him the owl there in Molech, but there are certainly things there uh r that would be worthy of Molech and uh that entity, who, by the way, I conclude in the book The Second Coming of Saturn is to be equated with one and the same with Jemia, the leader of the sons of God in Genesis 6, who rebelled.

SPEAKER_01

So you you you don't see him as as part of the Psalm 82 cadre, you see him as part of the the Gen 6 cadre. Exactly, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Um and also Abaddon Apollyon, the leader, since he's the you know, chronos, Saturn, king of the titans, uh locked up in Tartarus, like the sons of God from Genesis 6, according to uh Peter, 2 Peter 2, verse 4. God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but thrust them down to in the Greek at the word as Tartarosis, Tartarus, uh not Hades, not Sheol, not Gehenna. Um so yeah, the he would be the angel of the bottomless pit, in my view. It's circumstantial evidence because the Bible's not explicit, but it makes sense. Um this entity also, I believe, is the entity uh who is named Lucifer or Helael ben Shatar in the original Hebrew in Isaiah 14. Uh and you know, consequently also the rebel from Eden in Ezekiel 28. I don't think that's Satan in Isaiah 14. In other words, Lucifer is not Satan, Lucifer is Shemiaza. Um Satan still roams the earth, you know, he's still roaming around like a lion seeking whom he may devour, according to uh according to Jesus. But uh who is uh locked up in the pit? Well, the sons of God from Genesis 6. And that would include Shemayaza. And this entity in all of his iterations of the ancient world, Saturn, Kronos, Baal Hamon, uh Kumarbi of the Hurrians, El, Molech, what all either connected to the underworld or had been banished to the underworld. Even in the oldest stories, which come from northern Mesopotamia and the people called the Hurrians, their chief deity, Kumarbi, the father of their gods, just like El, Enlil, Asher, Dagon, etc., um, had been banished to the netherworld by the storm god, who in all of these pantheons takes sober as the king. Zeus, Jupiter, Vale, Marja, Tesha, Tarhunta. Same story in all these pantheons. Um, and again, why they name the old owl Molech, I don't know. Maybe somebody's got some demon whispering to them that this would be a cool thing. But in terms of the iconography, the imagery of the owl, kind of an odd choice. Roger.

SPEAKER_00

So go ahead, Zim. Yeah, I think that, yeah, we're we're kind of working with a conflation here, maybe. I think, you know, when you have a secret occult working happening behind the scenes, you kind of make it as bad as it can be. And I think, you know, in the conspiracy circles, if you've if you're associating this owl with Molech, you know, Molech also would be, you know, connected to child sacrifice and all of these things. So you sort of up the ante uh on the on on those who are participating in this by making it as bad as it can be. But I've it's always struck me as like Minerva worship, like you were saying, Diana worship, you know, because also, too, you know, doing research into the Freemasons, it's it's they're they're deists, I think, but they're also very heavy into goddess worship, Diana worship, right? So it's they're, you know, I would I can easily see that being part of it. Um and and you know, folks in the conspiracy world just sort of conflating the two and you know, making it worse than it than it who knows what's uh what they're up to. But that's the case that that's the point, is we don't know. So we kind of make it as bad as it can be, you know.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And and not everybody has the time like Sharon and I have had over the last 11 years, where we're hey, we're we're literally our job is to do this. I mean, most we started out doing this back in 2002 or three before we started podcasting, doing it in evenings and weekends. So, you know, I get it. When you've got life going on around you, it's a little hard to say, okay, that's your six-year-old daughter, hang on, honey, I'll be there and I'm reading a new paper about Mesopotamian cosmology. You've got to prioritize. And you know, our daughter's grown, and we basically this is what we love to do. I mean, the Lord has opened the doors so that we do what we love, which is reading, research, learning, putting pieces together. We we've been so blessed that through Tom and Nita Horn coming here to partner with Skywatch TV, we've been able to devote a lot of time to this that um you know most pastors don't have. And so I, you know, I don't I don't fault pastors for not having the time to dig into this. Jesse, God bless you for doing it. Uh, but most don't, especially because yeah, we we've been friends with with a number of pastors throughout our our lives and we've seen the demands on their time. And um it it just doesn't leave a lot left over for digging into books like The Cult of Multi. It's just so we we hope that we can serve as like the intelligence analysts in the back room pushing the information out and hopefully making it accessible enough for pastors and for people in the pews to appreciate that there's more going on in the spirit realm than we've been taught. And

Divine Council And Free Will

SPEAKER_02

this is what Dr. Michael Heiser hoped to pass on in his as his legacy, and he has that the Psalm 82 worldview, divine counsel, the idea that God has a royal court, which is in scripture, you see it plainly in Job 1 and 2, when you know Satan comes from walking around on the earth and comes to accuse Job and all the other sons of God are there. You also see it in 1 Kings 22, where God says, Okay, how are we going to convince Ahab to go to war against the Syrians where he will fall in battle? And he gets a bunch of suggestions. And, you know, there are some scholars out there, you know, theologians, who don't like the idea because, well, God doesn't need a counsel. No, he doesn't. God knew what the answer to the questions were going to be, he knows the end from the beginning. But for his own pleasure, in the same way that we humans choose to have children, he desires family. And so he created the angelic realm and then he created the hum created humanity for his own pleasure and includes us in the operation of his creation. But ultimately, at the end of the day, it's his will that's going to be done. And, you know, it's it's just, I think, makes the Bible richer when we understand that there are entities out there who are loyal to God and those that are disloyal, profoundly, intensely, violently disloyal, which is why the world's in the state it's in today. So when people pose the question of evil, and you see this, you know, on social media from time to time, somebody who thinks he's going to debunk the Bible in a single post on X, if you know God is good, why does He let bad things happen to good people? Well, it's a two-word answer: free will. He created all of us with free will, and he created the angelic realm with free will as well. And like many of them, the quote, the guardian of the grail from Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, they chose poorly. They chose to rebel against the creator who spoke the universe into existence. And somehow they think they're going to win. Meanwhile, because of free will, they are free to disobey. We are free to disobey, although we know what the consequences will be. God will not dis God will not separate us from free will. If God were to eliminate evil from the universe, it would require eliminating our ability to choose, to make choices. It would leave us little robotic automatons. And I don't think people who pose this question have thought that through. Would they truly prefer being slaves? No, I think the answer to the question is they just prefer to be able to do whatever they want to do without consequences. And yeah, I'm sorry, that's not the way, that's not the way the universe is created. God created the game, if you will, is his rule.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. Yeah, he's he's done it all for love. The the free will proves love. And glory to God, because it means that we can genuinely worship and love him

Divine Feminine And UFO Messaging

SPEAKER_01

back. Um, I I so you mentioned the the connection of the owl to the the feminine thing, and I I find it very interesting, especially with the the present alien phenomenon that's on the rise. And it's funny, you know, I I did my studies back in 2004 and I stumbled into Joe Jordan way back then, and I was like, all right, that settles it. I know what it is. So I hadn't looked at it for years until 2020, and it starts to hit Congress. And I'm like, oh snap, this may be part of the actual thing. This and Islam are these two prongs coming at the same time, coalescing into all of this deception that's on rise on the face of the planet. And the the person who's disturbed me the most is Chris Blitzo with his uh connection to Haythor and the divine feminine. And so it sounds to me, and you're you correct me if I'm wrong, that that particular divine feminine, Haythor, etc., is all that same Ishtar in an um Astarte zone. Is that correct?

SPEAKER_02

That would be my take. I haven't done a deep dive into most of the Egyptian deities. Uh Hathor, the cow goddess, mother goddess, um, is the one that uh Chris Bledsoe claims he is hearing from. I had to do some reading of Chris Bledsoe today, to be honest. I haven't followed a lot of what he said out there, but I can see he's generated quite a bit of following. But it's not all that different from the claims of messages from Mary or the Queen of Heaven over the years. And, you know, I'm sorry to my Roman Catholic friends, but I mean, the dictionary of Deities and Demons in the Bible, which is a scholarly resource that deals with entities that are mentioned in scripture, um just names, it just says that the Queen of Heaven is a title that is now applied to Mary and it's just an outgrowth of the cult of Inanna, Ishtar, Astarte, Aphrodite, Venus, and she's manifested as other feminine entities throughout history, but not just feminine. So when you go back far enough to the Sumerian original, uh Inanna, she also manifested as male. Transgender. She was the original transgender entity on planet Earth. Um, the Hurrian uh equivalent of Inanna called Shauska, uh, there's a very famous inscription in uh what is now central Turkey, which used to be the center of the Hittite uh Empire back during the uh late Bronze and Early Iron Age. They there is a a a uh like a chasm as you walk through uh to to get to this this area with with the deities of the the Hurrians and the Hittites inscribed on the walls, and the male on one side and the female on the other. Well Shauska's on both. Wow. Okay, she and the Canaanite Pantheon, she was uh manifested as a starte, the goddess of well, sex, uh uh but as the um Venus in the evening, the evening star. Uh but in the morning, there was uh the war god Aftar. So in a male aspect and a female aspect. So you know this this anthropometric presentation on Inanna that uh did a wonderful presentation at a conference in San Antonio on this a few years back. She argues that Inanna is the spirit of the age. And I would suggest that that is absolutely correct because Inanna Ishtar Astarte was not just a goddess of you know love like Venus or Aphrodite's depicted in uh in mythology, especially as it's been sanitized for us when we had to read all this in high school. You know, we're reading, reading pagan religion, and it's like, no, no, it's just literature. Like, okay. She was the goddess of of carnality. I mean the temple servants of Inanna back in each in Sumer were typically transgender or males who'd been castrated. Um, also the goddess of mindless violence. Basically, she's the goddess of sex and violence. Which is what we're seeing. Exactly. When you see that today, you look around at our world, um, there are uh there are political action committees that are arguing for unrestricted abortion, you know, unrestricted abortion, which again serves MOLEC, um, unrestricted access to pornographic materials for kids in school. And when you try to tell them, no, we're not going to do that, well, how many incidents of transgenders getting violent, I mean murderously violent, have we seen here in the last couple of years? Um not to mention the fact that we've got uh you know Islam in attack. I argued that Inanna was one of the driving forces behind Islam. Interesting. Even though by the time of Muhammad in the 7th century AD, the name of the deity had changed to uh Atar Shemain, meaning, you know, uh basically Astarte of the Heavens, Queen of Heaven, basically and the war god, Atar, who was uh never the chief god in any of the pantheons of the Arabian tribes at the time of Muhammad, but he was the one deity that was worshipped by all of them. Okay, so not the chief god of any of those tribes, but he was the one god that they would all agree on, the god of war. But again, just the male aspect of the Queen of Heaven. Uh, you look at what's gone on with Islam over the last 1400 years, and I wrote about this in my book, Bad Moon Rising. Um I mean, the most recent examples are the just the recent uh, I'll say the grooming gang reports, so that that R word doesn't get you uh flagged by an algorithm. Uh the grooming gang report issued by uh Rupert Lowe, in uh member of Parliament in the UK. He's the leader of the uh Restore UK Party, which is horrific, shows that uh some quarter of a million young British girls down to age 11 had been assaulted by adult men, uh Pakistani men, which is a nice way of saying Muslim men. And this is a pattern that is not unique to Pakistani Muslims in the UK. Um I don't want to belabor the point, but deviant sexuality and violence are key characteristics of Islam as it was practiced by Muhammad. Uh, there are some wonderful Muslims out there. Sharon and I have been to Jordan three times and uh never felt unsafe. Everybody that we met at the hotels was just absolutely wonderful. Tour guys were fabulous. So, you know, we we had a great time in Jordan, and I will say that the Jordanians are very proud of their biblical history, even though it is a predominantly Muslim nation. But when you get down to the way the religion is practiced by those who are fundamentalists, those who practice it the way Muhammad and his followers practiced it, the way it has been practiced by many of his most fundamental followers over the last 1400 years, you've got to say that this goddess, Inanna Ishtar Astarte, is the spirit of the age. And we believe she is the woman in Scarlet who rides the beast during the end times.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that makes sense. The uh the interesting part is the connection to uh Bledsoe. So apparently, in part of his you know, revelations, she steps out and she says, I've been gone for a little while, but I'm coming back, and she's she is skinning herself or presenting herself, or at least the messaging from Bloodsoe and his family, is that she she is the Holy Spirit. And so there is this very uh overt attempt to blend and and bring a synchronicity between um historic Christian doctrine and this revelation. So he writes the UFO of God. Um he's healing people, is is you know, part of the reports that are coming out. Uh one unconfirmed report says that um the spirit has told him at some point soon it's gonna be time for him to go into churches and start praying for people with this stuff. And so uh, you know, he's uh his history Pentecostal deacon. Like I I you know, I I am confounded with how it's happening, and it seems like that divine feminine thing is exactly that spirit of the age. I think you guys are are spot on. Um, and and now it's dovetailing with the whole UFO thing. I was listening to another uh, I think it was uh Tony Merkel was talking how um one researcher said that the entire area, the Sinai Plant Peninsula where the the Israelites came in when they came out of Egypt, there's all kinds of hathor stuff that's there in that region, and that there's a very very it's very likely that the cow that they created at the bottom of Mount Sinai was actually the hathor.

SPEAKER_02

Have you

The Golden Calf And Sinai

SPEAKER_02

heard that? That is a well, that is a possibility. I don't know that we'll ever establish that for certain. I think, and this is just my view, that uh there are a couple of other possibilities. Um actually three possibilities uh it could be uh the moon god sin, spelled S-I-N, but I'm informed by actual scholars, it's pronounced it's pronounced sin. So Mount Sinai was named for that entity uh in the wilderness of sin. Uh and in fact, you'll notice when they they enter the wilderness of sin, it's on the fifteenth day of the second month. Uh and whenever the Bible mentions the date, you gotta pay attention to it. 15th day of the month on a lunar calendar, that's the date that the moon is full in the sky. So we're entering the wilderness of the moon god when the moon is at its full power, and that's when the Israelites began to began to complain. We ought to go back. And the next morning manna began to fall. And so, you know, God took them through this wilderness, took them to the mountain of this moon god. Um, the moon god is referred to in a Babylonian text as the frisky calf of heaven. Why a frisky calf? Because when the moon is only partly full, the uh crescent moon looks like the horns of a bull. So there's that. Uh second possibility is uh the storm god, Baal, or Baal, for you scholars, just so you know, I know how to say it, who is sometimes depicted as a bull. The third possibility is the father god of the Canaanites, L, whose epithet is the uh is Bull El. And that has something to do probably with a reference to his, shall we say, generative powers, which are very important when you're a uh pastoral community. Uh, but the in the Eucharitic texts, uh, documents that were found, playing tablets found from an Amorite kingdom called Ugarit, dated to about the time of the judges, around 1200 BC when it was destroyed, they make frequent reference to the generative powers of Bull El. I'm sure could be one of those three. Now, when it comes to the the golden calf set up by Jeroboam, who led the rebellion of the northern tribes against Solomon's son Rayobon, the golden calf at Bethel, which means Temple of El or House of El, or and uh at Dan at the foot of Mount Ramon, I'm pretty sure those are those represented El, not Yahweh, not some other entity. And since Jeroboam said, you know, here is your God, Israel led you up out of Egypt. I'm leaning towards identifying the golden calf that was built by Aaron, who said lies through the gold in the fire, and this thing jumped out. Like worst. Yeah, yeah. Our daughter could have come up with a better excuse when she was six. Um, I think that was a representation of Bull L, who again, when you connect into these other entities, was the original, well, not the original rebel, that would be Satan in Genesis 3, but the leader of Genesis 6, which was such a an existential threat to humanity that God sent the flood to cleanse the earth of what the watchers, those rebellious watchers from Genesis 6, had created. And so Bull El, I think, had more followers, even among the Israelites, than um than we realize. Uh until you really really start digging beneath the surface of the English text in the Old Testament.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, those Canaanites are certainly spoilers for sure.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think there's something to be said too about the procession of the ages of the uh astrological calendar, too. So with every 2,000 years, right, there was an era where Taurus was, you know, in charge and then the Ram and then the Pisces and now the Aquarian. So, you know, maybe that motif is how they expressed, you know, worship of their deities in many cases in many cultures at that time. I also had a question, too, about um Hathor, we go back to Hathor real quick. She she's associated, I would say, probably with Ninhurstog, is that correct, from Sumeria, the mother goddess, right? So if there is a mother goddess and then there is a queen of heaven motif, the queen of heaven seems almost to stand in opposition to the mother goddess, right? The queen of heaven is like a destructive, you know, force rather than a generative force. So what what in your research, what are the how do those two motifs correspond or or you know conflict with

Many Masks Of The Queen

SPEAKER_00

one another?

SPEAKER_02

That's a good question. Sharon and I talked about that, and we haven't really come up with a definitive answer. Um in the Canaanite pantheon, the consort of uh L was Ashura, not to be confused with Astarte, two separate entities, the mother goddess Astarte, the goddess of sex, the one who had the uh the temple prostitutes. Her equivalent um would be Rhea in the Greek pantheon. Um I don't even remember Opis, I think, is her name in the Roman pantheon. She's kind of a minor figure. Um Tanit is her uh was her name in the Phoenician pantheon, the consort of Baal Hamon. And quite a few Phoenician sites, by the way, some that we visited on the island of Sardinia that have a very interesting um icon. It looks like a keyhole. That's the symbol of Tanit. Uh Tanit is derived from a word, Semitic word that means um dragon. Tanin. Right, as in Tanin of the of the in Hebrew. Asherah is got the epithet in the Eucharitic text of um lady who treads on Yam, and Yom in uh Eucharitic. In Hebrew is a word that means sea or ocean, you know, woman who treads on the sea. But yam in the Eucharitic text was the equivalent of Leviathan. So, you know, she who treads on the dragon. So kind of an interesting identification there. I I lean toward the fact that this entity, uh Asherah, may just be another manifestation of Astarte, and one who has not been banished into the abyss. And we, you know, looking at the Greek pantheon, we we're we're half convinced that uh you know, this entity, Anata Ishtar Astarte, also manifests in the Greek pantheon as uh uh as Diana, as uh uh uh Artemis. Um and uh possibly even as uh Hecate. It was the you know the the maiden mother crone of uh three-faced uh goddess. Um and people may ask how that can be. And Sharon came up with a great uh explanation for this. Uh number one, these things lie. Number two, because they are operating outside of our dimension and can manifest inside our dimension in ways that we as humans don't understand. You know, think of them as uh these different uh entities, uh different names as finger puppets, you know, coming into our you know, our time-space continuum, our 3D continuum, we see, you know, say four distinct entities when in fact they're all in the same hand. You know, same entity manifesting different identities as needed for whatever story or lie that they're trying to tell. So Asherah, she who treads on the dragon, Tani, the dragon woman, same entity, may be just another manifestation of the Queen of Heaven, Anana, Astarte, Ishtar, and so on.

SPEAKER_00

Um for sure. Yeah, and it would be a, it would, you know, it it strategically it makes sense if you're pres if you're presenting as a positive goddess and a negative goddess, you you have power in both. And you know, if she's trying to usurp power from God, you know, and she appears positive and or negative, that's a way to do it, right? Because now you're captivating the minds and hearts of men in two ways instead of just the one route, right? Um also the the Bledsoe stuff dovetails with, you know, the Gnostic thinking around Sophia, too, you know, because Sophia had the you know and she's generally presented as positive, but she's part of the created order, she's not God. So again, we're we're moving into deity worship again, right? No matter how positive the deity is, it's still a deity.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And Mike Heiser says really good teaching on this, uh, because there are those who will have there's a reference to wisdom in one of the Proverbs, and and I don't recall which one at the top, Mike. Proverbs eight. But we'll point, okay, there you go. I was gonna say 18, so I at least I had one of them did just right. The uh thought being by folks that want to find a divine feminine in the Bible that there she is, wisdom. That's the Holy Spirit. And you know, Mike has got a good teaching on that, that uh debunks that idea. The fact is that in Hebrew, the word translated wisdom is simply a feminine noun. That's all there is to it. Um it's not a deity, it is simply giving a using a metaphor to illustrate a point. But no, it's not a divine feminine, it's just the noun happens to be, you know, as in many languages, the the nouns are gendered, you know. That's not the case in English, but I I remember enough high school French to remember that in France there was a difference between la and le when it came to uh nouns. And the same is true in Hebrew, it's just a feminine noun.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think the same thing happens in Spanish. It's funny the the idea of both a positive and a negative, right? You know, it's the the uniparty, it's a republican and democratic system of the United States of America.

SPEAKER_00

Just a quick aside before you uh before you continue, Jesse. Uh in in researching Zechariah Sitchin, too, you know, Mount Sinai was actually he he he contends that Mount Sinai was the premier spaceport for the Anunnaki.

SPEAKER_01

And he's the one who said the thing talking to him was Timey Anza, right? No, that was uh that was Billy Billy Mock.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, Billy Mock. Yeah. But I found that interesting when you guys were talking about Sinai a minute ago. Yeah, Sitchin really, you know, laid into Sinai as the spaceport for the Anunnaki. So that was a pretty interesting connection to the uh the ETs there. But yeah, go on.

Pastors Preparing For Disclosure

SPEAKER_01

Brother Derek, um, we got about 12 minutes. I want to be sensitive with your time. Um the uh uh the if you were to speak to pastors right now and and you were like, look, this is uh I I want to give you a stage right now. There's a lot of stuff staging up on the face of the planet, and there's a lot of pastors that are absolutely ignorant for whatever reason, don't have time, um, scared of it, don't believe in it. And you know, if if if Trump ends up coming out like he's supposed to next month and saying these things are real or whatever, we're you know, we're we're looking at a we're looking at a uh ontological shift on the face of the planet as far as you know public reality goes. Um what would you say to pastors? What how how would you how would you pitch um uh preparing the congregations and such? Or uh for alien disclosure? Or in any of it. I I think all of it all connects to the same phenomenology. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um I I would say this. We can't know what we don't know. Um my feeling is, and this suggests a feeling, so this is not a theological uh position based on scripture, is that God probably would have warned us if there were legitimate extraterrestrials who would come down and uh introduce themselves to us someday. And that's a pretty significant event. Um I mean, you just imagine the the minds of the the Native Americans uh when they saw the first sails of the uh European settlers or conquistadors uh coming across the ocean. This is completely outside their experience, it just blew their mind. They didn't know how to react. Um, we would probably react the same way. And I think the fallen realm knows this. God, knowing that the fallen realm would know this, would probably have said, be prepared for a deception so convincing that it might fool even the elect, if it were possible. Sounds familiar? Wait, Jesus did say that, didn't he? Um But here's the thing: if we properly understand what God said in in Genesis 1, where he said, Let us create man in our image, or humanity in our image. The word image does not mean that God is a humanoid biped who stands about six foot tall. It means that we bear his image on earth as his moral agents. We carry his banner, you know, like the old song Onward Christian soldiers, even though I think a proper understanding of Ephesians 6 says we're supposed to stand our ground, we're not supposed to, you know, uh actually go to war except to hold our territory until he returns. But you know, that's a whole whole nother discussion. But while we hold that ground, while we are coming under enemy fire from the fallen realm, um the the things that the apostle Paul warned about when he described Ephesians 6. He was describing the armor of a Roman centurion, which all of his readers would have been familiar with, uh a legionary. Uh, you know, the the helmet to protect our minds against the onslaught that we get from ideas, uh, from what we put into our eyes. I mean, come on, guys, we are visual creatures, and too many of us are looking at things we shouldn't ought to be looking at. Um, you know, the the breastplate of righteousness to guard our hearts against taking these things, these evil thoughts and desires into our hearts, and so on. We are standing there with God's banner. That's what it means to bear his image. It doesn't mean that when Zeta Reticulans land on the White House lawn, it's like, oh, that blows my whole cosmology. My worldview has just now been no. It's like, well, cool. We got aliens. I'm still an image bearer for Jesus Christ on this planet. Now, who do you say Jesus of Nazareth is? The same question Jesus asked Peter. Come on, there does say he is. And it's like, okay, I think that answer from Mr. Zeta Reticulin will tell us an awful lot about who they are, what they are, and what their agenda is. So, pastors, I would just say this: just prepare your audience. That simple teaching on Genesis 1. We all bear God's image, regardless of how smart we are, how handsome, how pretty, how athletic, how academic, how limited. Even those of us who are dealing with physical or cognitive impairment bear God's image. You want to see pure love on two legs, you go watch a special Olympics event sometime. And those kids with Down syndrome, they bear God's image probably better than all of us. And it doesn't matter who or what steps out of that craft on the White House lawn, we're all, we're all bearing God's image and should not affect our faith as Christians one jot or tittle. Amen. Glory to God. What about practical discernment for what's happening? Well, I know Sharon and I pray every day for discernment and for wisdom because even I grow up usually as the smartest kid in my class, I've gotten to a point where I realize I'm not the smartest one in the room most times, and so I need discernment and wisdom from the Holy Spirit. Um we need to not put our faith and our trust in a politician. I support President Trump. I think he's done some amazing things, best president of my lifetime, if not the entire 20th century. But he's not perfect, and he is not going to save us from the supernatural enemy that we face. I think ultimately we need to remember what Paul wrote in Ephesians 6, he knew his theology. We're not wrestling against human opponents. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, principalities, powers, cosmic rulers over this present darkness. The enemy is supernatural. And while it's easy to get caught up in the news each day, especially the way it's presented on cable news, where it's often presented like a like a sporting event. The Trump's approval rating is down three points this week, and oh, the Democrats are doing that's those are the shadows on the wall of the real struggle that's taking place in the unseen realm. And we need to remember that. And we need to remember that our main weapon, our main weapon is prayer. It's not guns and gold will not save us. They have their uses, I'm not denying that, but they will not save us. At the end of the day, it is prayer, wisdom, discernment, and staying in the word of God, because uh that's where the answers are. It's like our friend Ellie Marzuli has said many, many times. We have the guidebook to the supernatural available to us. Let's open it once in a while and make sure we're studying. Amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Amen. Well, we're uh we we've got just uh a few moments left.

Where To Find Derek Prayer

SPEAKER_01

Um, Derek, for for those that are uh A, number one, guys, anyone listening, I want you to pray for for Derek and for Sharon. Um in particular, the the work that they're doing actually is pretty crucial um for a lot of different reasons. And um, and they're not spring chickens. So we we want we want to we want to keep them around uh uh as long as we absolutely can. So pray, pray for them, pray for Derek's health, uh, pray uh pray for the anointing on what they're doing. Um Derek, if anyone's looking to get a hold of you or or uh see stuff or or just consume what it is that the God is doing through you, where they're gonna find you at.

SPEAKER_02

Um I would say the best place right now is our Substack account. We've been posting a lot of stuff to Substack the last uh year and a half or so, and that seems to have really been a good platform um because it supports not just the written word, we can also post video and uh audio there as well. So Gilberthouse.substack.com. And then our main website where we've got links to our YouTube channels and social media and all that is Gilberthouse.org. Gilberthouse.org. You have an app too, I believe, right? We we do, and uh link to that is uh at the website, gilberthouse.org slash app, and uh that just makes our our content available through um iOS, Android, Amazon, Kindle Fire devices. Uh we've got versions for smart TVs and set top boxes as well. So if people want to see my uh my podcast, which is mainly just me and another guy, you know, usually or two or three guys sitting around talking, they can do that. Um that is uh again gilberthouse.org slash app. Guarantees will never get canceled because occasionally we say things uh that, yeah, I've got I've got a couple of weeks uh coming up where we're talking about spiritual warfare, satanic ritual abuse, and child trafficking might get us in trouble with the uh you know a certain you a certain um video sharing platform.

SPEAKER_01

So tune in for that spiritual gatekeepers. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Tune in while you can. If you would join me, I'd like to pray for for Derek. We prayed for him a little bit beforehand, but I'd I'd like those listening and those who listen later to to pray with us. God, we we lift up this man. God, he is yours um beyond anything else. He he is secured by the blood and the righteousness of King Jesus. And and so Lord, we we just pray that over his body in the name of Jesus. We pray that over him and his wife's relationship in the name of Jesus. We we pray that over their minds and their hearts as they God, they look at things that that are often very, very dark. Keep them and protect them as they go. God, by your light, we see light. And I say that over both of them in the name of Jesus. By his light, we see light. So, God, lead them, bless them for your glory in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. All right, Derek, you're gonna have a bunch of Pentecostals praying for you, so let's see what happens.

SPEAKER_02

I appreciate that. You know, I have learned, I have learned since getting married to Sheridan because she was raised in an independent Baptist church, which you know, those are the Baptists who think the Southern Baptist Church is way too liberal. So I have learned. Wow, I have learned to shout Amen and Hallelujah and preach it uh with the best of them, and we become very good friends with a lot of Pentecostals. Um, so who knows? You know, maybe one of our callings is uh we're sort of uh, you know, Ghostbusters reference, we're crossing the streams and uh bringing together some uh some traditions that uh uh don't don't usually get together over the pot line.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I know. I I know Tom Horton was uh AG in Oregon, and I know the uh brother Dizdar was full-blown Pentecostal. Um so I I was out at Jamie's Jamie uh Walden's spot last month. I went out there for my birthday and hung out with him for a week, and I was like, I said we're gonna have you baptized in the Holy Ghost soon, is where we're totally poking flint at each other, and it's just you know, it's amazing. God it God is going to unify his people before he gets back. So that's right.

SPEAKER_00

We're all in this we're all in this phalanx together.

SPEAKER_01

So brother, thank you so much. Um, you know, if in in the future we'd love to have you back at some point and chat some more about some of these interesting uh nerd out things with some weird eight eighties movie references. Um we've we'll chop it up and and and love it.

SPEAKER_00

Great. Yeah, if you guys like it. Yeah, thank you so much. And yeah, um, if you guys like what you heard and saw here, like and subscribe, please follow us. Uh spread the news about the show. Uh, you know, the more people with their eyes on this thing listening in, uh, you know, the more work God can do on this uh in this world. So thank you so much, Brother Derek, for joining us. And uh just been wonderful. Any closing thoughts?

SPEAKER_02

No, just really enjoyed the conversation. Thank you for uh being open to uh discussing these subjects. I get uh so you can tell a little bit emotional. As I get older, I get more emotional, same as my dad. And uh I think it's because we get closer to the end of the finish line. Each day that we can work becomes more significant, becomes more precious. Yeah, that's more precious.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. Thank you, brother. All right, guys. Thank you.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, blood and oil out. We're done. Life is still fifty four, fifty five.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's finished up. Yeah.
