They told me Parkinson’s would affect my movement. What they didn’t say was how much it would hijack my mind.
In this episode of Living with Parkinson’s: The Good, the Bad, and the Reality, I open up about one of the most invisible and misunderstood symptoms of Parkinson’s: anxiety.
This isn’t just stress or “worrying too much.” Anxiety in Parkinson’s is rooted in brain chemistry, and it can hit out of nowhere — racing heart, spiraling thoughts, a body that feels stuck even when my tremors are calm.
I share how anxiety shows up for me, how it’s connected to off times, and the tools I’ve learned to manage it — from tracking symptoms, to breathing exercises, to yes… even peanut M&Ms. Most importantly, I talk about the real game-changer: knowing you’re not alone.
If you’ve ever felt the hidden weight of anxiety with Parkinson’s, this conversation is for you.

If you told me Parkinson’s would give me the best gift of my life, I’d have laughed you out of the room. Everyone talks about what you lose with Parkinson’s—mobility, independence, even the ability to button a shirt without a 5-minute battle. But nobody warned me that Parkinson’s might actually give me something I wouldn’t trade for anything.
In this episode of Living with Parkinson’s: The Good, the Bad, and the Reality, I reveal the biggest and most unexpected gift this disease has given me: community.
We’ll talk about:
•How my diagnosis left me searching for hope in the darkest places
•The surprising way a late-night video turned into real friendships
•Why shared stories, dark humor, and honest questions matter more than medical pamphlets
•How strangers became lifelines—and why you don’t have to do Parkinson’s alone
•The movement we’re building together, one story at a time
This is more than a podcast. It’s proof that you’re not alone—and you never have to be again.
💬 What’s the one thing Parkinson’s has given you (even if it surprised you)? Drop your answer in the comments—I’d love to hear your story.

Let’s talk about sex. Yeah, even with Parkinson’s. Not exactly the kind of thing you hear in a neurologist’s office, right? But if you’ve noticed changes in desire, performance, comfort, or confidence—you are not alone.
In this episode of Living with Parkinson’s: The Good, the Bad, and the Reality, I’m tackling the intimate side of Parkinson’s that often gets ignored. Erectile dysfunction, vaginal dryness, loss of desire, embarrassment about symptoms… these are real challenges, and they’re not “just in your head.”
We’ll cover:
This isn’t about fixing everything. It’s about staying connected, finding closeness in new ways, and knowing you’re still worthy of love and intimacy.
💬 Have you noticed changes in your sexual health since diagnosis? Do you feel like no one’s talking about it? Drop a comment—or if you’d rather keep it private, join the Inner Circle community. That’s where we go deeper, safely and confidentially.

Have you ever thought, “Is this Parkinson’s… or is it just me?” You’re not alone.
In this episode of Living with Parkinson’s: The Good, the Bad, and the Reality, I’m talking about the autonomic symptoms of Parkinson’s—the invisible, often overlooked issues that affect more than 80% of us. These aren’t the tremors or stiffness people expect. These are the ones that whisper: sudden blood pressure crashes, bladder urgency, constipation, unpredictable sweating, temperature swings, and even intimacy struggles that most of us don’t want to admit out loud.
I’ll share my own stories (including one where I had to fake a phone call just to cut in line for a restroom), practical tips that help, and the key questions you need to be asking your doctor.
Because Parkinson’s isn’t just about what people can see—it’s about the battles that happen in the background. And those matter just as much.
💬 Comment below: What symptoms surprised you the most? What helps you cope with them?
✨ Bryce-ism of the Episode “With Parkinson’s, it’s not always the visible symptoms that break you down—it’s the invisible ones that remind you just how strong you really are.”

I’ve had Parkinson’s for 15 years, and not once has my doctor told me what stage I’m in. And you know what? That might actually be a good thing.
In this episode of Living with Parkinson’s: The Good, the Bad, and the Reality, I break down the five official stages of Parkinson’s and explain why most doctors don’t talk about them. We’ll dive into why these stages don’t always match what we actually live through, why progression isn’t linear, and why focusing on a number can do more harm than good.
I’ll also share a personal story from a conversation with my neurologist who told me: “I treat the person in front of me, not the stage they’re supposed to be in.” That perspective has shaped how I see this disease.
Instead of chasing stages, I’ll talk about the real questions that matter: Are my meds still working? What’s getting harder lately? What can I still do on my own?
Stick around—this one will challenge how you think about Parkinson’s.
💬 Have you ever been told what stage you’re in? Did it help or just confuse you? Drop a YES or NO in the comments, and let’s get a conversation started.

When Ozzy Osbourne said, "I’m not dying from Parkinson’s, I’ve been working with it most of my life," he revealed something that completely shifted how I think about this disease.
In this episode of Living with Parkinson’s: The Good, the Bad, and the Reality, I explore Ozzy’s incredible 16-year journey of living with symptoms before his official diagnosis — and what it teaches us about the hidden years so many of us face.
From the rare PRKN2 genetic variant he carried, to the love and loyalty of his wife Sharon, to his defiant final performance on a bat-themed throne just 17 days before his passing — this is both a tribute and a deep dive into resilience, hope, and the power of showing up.

⚠️ Important Note
This is my personal Parkinson’s medication journey—what works for me may not work for everyone. Parkinson’s is different for each person, and medication plans should always be tailored to individual needs. From awkward moments at the dinner table to bouncing legs in boardrooms, Bryce shares personal stories, debunks common levodopa myths, and reveals the surprising lesson a dinner with friends taught him about owning his movements.
Plus, he teaches you the 30-second “confidence reset” he uses in public to turn embarrassment into empowerment. Whether dyskinesia has just started showing up or you’re still wondering what it is—this episode offers truth, laughter, and real-life tools to help you live fully and unapologetically.
🎧 Bryce-ism of the Episode:
“With Parkinson’s, your best dance moves show up when you least expect them. So why not just own the spotlight?”

One minute you’re walking fine. The next? Your leg’s frozen, your hand’s doing the cha-cha, and your family’s asking, “But you seemed fine this morning!”
In this episode, Bryce tackles one of the most frustrating parts of Parkinson’s: the symptoms that come and go—randomly, without warning, and without a user manual. From spilled coffee to freezing mid-goodbye, it’s the unpredictability that drives us (and everyone around us) a little crazy.
You’ll also hear real tips from the community—like elevator cards, sturdy-chair scanning, and planning for the “just in case” moment. This one’s real, raw, and full of those “yep, that’s me” moments.
🧠 Bryce-ism of the Episode:
“With Parkinson’s, the only thing predictable is that it’s unpredictable.”

Is there such a thing as too much Levodopa? In this honest, experience-driven episode, Bryce dives into the reality nobody talks about: knowing when your medication is helping—and when it’s starting to hurt. From the early days of chasing “control” with more pills to the wake-up call of dizziness, exhaustion, and dyskinesia, Bryce shares real stories and practical signs that it’s time to rethink your dose.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, deep into your Parkinson’s journey, or a caregiver wondering what “too much” looks like, this episode unpacks:
Bottom line: The goal isn’t just to survive, it’s to function and live. Sometimes, that means having tough conversations, adjusting your dose, and remembering: more isn’t always better, but less isn’t noble if you’re struggling.
Bryce-ism of the Episode:
"More medication isn’t always more freedom. Sometimes, it’s just more noise your body has to shout over. Tune in, track it, and find your real balance."

You’ve heard about the tremors. The meds. Maybe even the stiffness. But what about the wild vivid dreams, sudden sleep attacks, or the crushing mood swings that hijack your day? In this brutally honest episode, Bryce pulls back the curtain on the lesser-known, often humiliating, and definitely under-discussed side effects of Parkinson’s. From impulse control to dyskinesia to the emotional toll of looking “fine” while feeling broken inside—this is the stuff no one puts in the brochure.
This episode is more than just a list of side effects—it’s a raw, relatable, and sometimes hilarious journey through the unexpected realities of life with PD. Bryce opens up about the side effects that have surprised him, the ones that have messed with his confidence, and the mindset shifts that help him take back control.
💬 Have you experienced any of these? Drop a comment—we’re in this together.
🎧 Bryce-ism of the Episode:
“With Parkinson’s, some side effects don’t just hit your body—they punch you in the pride. But naming them out loud? That’s how we take the power back.”

Some days I can speak on stage in front of hundreds—and others, I forget why I walked into the kitchen. In this honest episode, I’m opening up about the part of Parkinson’s that doesn’t get enough attention: cognition.
From brain fog to memory lapses to that awkward moment when I left my keys in the fridge—this episode is packed with personal stories and the real strategies I use to stay mentally sharp and emotionally grounded.
You’ll learn:
🧠 My daily 10-minute brain workout routine
📓 The journaling habit that changed how I cope
🗣️ Why talking (yes, even just chatting) is serious mental fuel
📱 My favorite tech tools—including how Alexa became my second brain
💤 How I’m learning to treat sleep like medicine
💬 Plus, why I don’t edit out my brain blips anymore (and what that taught me)
I also dive into the emotional side—what it’s like to forget names, lose your words mid-sentence, and still show up fully. If cognitive changes are part of your Parkinson’s journey, you’re not alone. Let’s talk about it.
