Symbolic Studies is a project ran by lifelong artist and graphic designer Mario Garza. With a foundation in the signs of astrology, Symbolic Studies is an outlet to share symbolic insights on the zodiac, mythology, folklore and world religions. Located in the Pacific Northwest he records the show with his co-host Michelle. Mario is available for symbolic birth chart and tarot readings, private lessons and is also a freelance graphic designer.

In this episode, we focus our attention toward the second sign of the zodiac: Taurus, the Bull. As usual, I’m joined by my wife and co-host, Michelle, as we dig deep into the fertile soil of Taurus symbolism to unearth some of the more esoteric aspects of the sign. We cover themes including the sacred cow and its abundant offerings that tie in with Venus and Earth symbolism. We discuss various runic connections as well as the signs’s correspondence to the throat as the "inner ear" or "voice of the heart".
