Sue Grier, advocate, support coordinator, educator, founder and mother of the 'force to be reckoned with... William'
Sue Grier is the Founder and Managing Director of Lets Connect Support Services which is an Independent Registered Support Coordination Company based in SE Qld providing supports to people through out Australia.
Sue has over 25 years experience in the disability sector in Queensland and Tasmania with 8 of those years as a Support Coordinator. Sue has lived experience with her son William promoting self directed support and her son achieving the ultimate goal of living in his own unit on the Redcliffe Peninsula utilising Independent workers which has seen William have maximum choice and control of his life with assistance from his family and his network of dedicated people.
Sue is a passionate advocate for people with disabilities and families and believes in education and awareness as the key factor in the sector. Sue regularly speaks with people about her NDIS knowledge and is the founding member of “NDIS Queensland Planning for Change forum “ which is an online forum she started at the beginning of the original Disability Care Australia , which is now known as the NDIS.
