Sup PEEP's here we go again another week and some more good music that's what is all about GOODVIBEZ. It's a great week with a great guest so it's my pleasure to introduce the SUPER TALENTED Jose Velez mixing GoodvibeZ SessionZ 37 let's go Jose give it to them.... nothing but the GOODVIBEZ. Jose dose not need much introduction but here is a little about him and his journey...
It didn’t take long after purchasing his first set of Technics 1210's, for Jose Velez’s phenomenal disc jockey talents to catapult him in standing out with his compassion for mixing of eclectic underground house music. Creating incredible energy with intuitive, crafty unique mixing & transition skills, the musical journey’s expressions with his live sets, quickly becoming a local favorite amongst the crowd.
Jose began his DJ career by displaying his talents at small local venues in the Tri-State area, securing a 2 year residency in Belmar New Jersey’s famous venue “DJAIS” but quickly gained the attention of an Elite Event marketing companies which catapulted him into the limelight of the Tri-State. Jose's natural gift of spinning, coupled with his keen sense of an insatiable musical appetite for serving energy-charged atmosphere’s on the dance floor despite the genre he played. He became an instant club sensation, being approached & sought by endless venues interested in “packing the house and creating a musical journey for all the beloved” for displaying his live musical expressions.
Although passionate about DJ-ing, Jose turned his attention to producing his own sound, Starting in 2004 producing a white label remix of Jefferson Airplane “White Rabbits” that ended up being featured the legendary Sound Factory Records NYC. Just one year after the launch of his own production company, Jose Velez was then approached by Hosh Gureli and asked to remix Deborah Cox hit song, “Something Happened On The way To Heaven” and signing original music to, Ultra Music, Stereo Productions, Nervous Records and many more.
Jose Velez holds a very promising future, already played with Top Elite Artist Worldwide, as the opening act for -- Tiesto, DeadMau5, Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia many times & also with themselves Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, & Axwell, DubFire, Sharam, Ramon Tapia, Hermanez, Funkagenda, Robert Dietz, Tocadisco, LutZenKirchen as well as local A-rated Artists, Danny Teneglia Victor Calderone, Boris, Jonathan Peters, DubFire, along with big NYC locals, Cristian Arrango, Jean Pierre,..etc
