On this week’s BabyGay™ Podcast, host PJ Brescia (they/them) sits down with Robbie Simpson (he/him), actor, director, and producer best known as the fan favorite and only openly LGBTQ+ cast member on Season 2 of Hallmark Channel’s breakout hit Finding Mr. Christmas.
Robbie shares his journey growing up in Massachusetts, coming out at 18, and learning to stop trying to fit into expectations...both on stage and in life. We talk about queer representation in mainstream media, trusting your path, and why you don’t need every opportunity to succeed...you just need one person who believes in you. He also opens up about stepping into his “unapologetic era” and the unforgettable story of proposing to his fiancé in Sydney, later featured in People Magazine.
Robbie continues to develop projects for Broadway, television, and international theater while championing visibility, artistry, and joy in every role he takes on.
