On this week’s BabyGay™ Podcast, host PJ Brescia (they/them) sits down with Kelley Robinson (she/her), President of the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBTQ+ advocacy organization. Kelley shares her journey growing up on the South Side of Chicago, the role her family played in shaping her values, and how storytelling, faith, and collective action continue to guide her work today. Together, we talk about the evolving nature of coming out, the importance of deep connection across communities, and why showing up — even in small ways — can create meaningful change.
We also discuss the origins of National Coming Out Day, the urgent need to support Trans people and their families, and how each of us can help build a future rooted in dignity, safety, and belonging.
