From the Horn Auto Center Studios, Chris Bennett and the Morning Brew. And now it's time for Chris's wife to give us her Christmas Hallmark movie reviews. Alright, my love, what is today's Hallmark Christmas movie review?

SPEAKER_03:

I'm going to review our holiday story.

SPEAKER_01:

Our holiday story. Here's what I think it's about. I think it's about a family that uh works for the circus, and they kind of tell the story of what Christmas is like in the circus and how they have the elephants at the circus unwrap the presents. Is that what this is about?

SPEAKER_03:

Not at all.

SPEAKER_01:

Alright, what is this one about?

SPEAKER_03:

So this is about a couple that are retelling their holiday story of how they met. So you're a little bit of an equally. And your holiday story is like if you get like a couple of your story, and it takes forever for them to tell it, and it's really not that interesting. Yes, that's kind of the feeling I got. I wasn't, it wasn't super interesting to me.

SPEAKER_01:

Alright, how many uh cups of hot cocoa for our holiday story?

SPEAKER_03:

I gave it six out of ten cups of hot cocoa.

SPEAKER_01:

Alright, six out of ten if you're strapped on time. My wife says, skip our holiday story. I love you, my love, and thank you so much for your Hallmark Christmas movie review.

SPEAKER_01:

I am so excited this morning to have some guests in studio from Ashton Salon. It is Matthew Pino and Tia Barraza. Good morning. Heck yes. Uh, it's been a while since uh you've been in the Q Country studio. I think last time was before we burned down.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, this is the first time in the new location, and so happy to be here this morning. It's great.

SPEAKER_01:

And I understand you guys uh have a new location. Well, the five years new location. Where have you moved to?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, so we're we're right behind Chase Bank and Birdie's Cafe in the Red Brick Building. It's called the Cooley Professional Plaza, and we've been there five years, and I just had someone come up to me and say, like, uh, where have you been? And I'm like, here, just around the corner. So so surprised. And it's been going on for a little bit of time. So I'm like, you know what? I'm calling Chris. We're gonna get the word out that we're still here working and operating. I have nine of the most amazing stylists uh working with me, and it's a beautiful shop. And uh so excited to still be in Sholo. Uh after the pandemic, it uh we had a downsize, but uh we survived it and and we expanded, and uh shop looks amazing.

SPEAKER_01:

It and you guys offer more than just uh just just hairstyling. You have like a plethora of services that you provide. You're a full service salon.

SPEAKER_00:

Not a full service because we do not offer nails or pedicures. Okay, but we do offer a lot of aesthetics work and for skin and and hair and uh conditioning treatments and perms and colors, ombre, balayages, um, Brazilian blowouts. Um we also offer um, yeah, we're amazing at men's haircutting and women's haircutting. That's nice. And you also do like uh uh makeup, permanent makeup as well. I've been a permanent makeup artist for almost eight years now, and a certified laser tech for a little over two years now.

SPEAKER_01:

All right. It is uh the holiday season, there's Christmas parties going on, uh, New Year's is coming up. Maybe you want a new do for a new year? For a new you? Go to Ashton Salon and uh treat yourself. What number do they call or how do they uh set up an appointment?

Yeah, it wasn't her own hair, but we can give that look. It's called ghost root. Yeah, yeah. It's it's uh where you do different colors, shadow root, different colors at the root and the ends. Oh well, congratulations, Matthew.

Hold this over Tia's head all day. You're smiling. But we'll have uh we'll have another opportunity for you to totally redeem yourself, Tia. It is Monday, and you know what that means. It's time to get motivated with it with some motivational Monday quotes. Uh, to help us pick our motivational quote for the week. We have Matthew Pino and Tia Barraza with Ashton Solon. And uh, I thought for our motivational quotes today, we would do famous hair edition. She says, You can't be afraid of what people are going to say because you're never going to make everyone happy. Yeah. Those are some good motivational quotes. Yes, we do. Yep. Awesome. We actually have, yeah, really good staff, uh, highly educated, highly professional. Um, I wish I could follow that path. And uh Tia, you were talking about hair love. Like that's kind of your motto, and then you talked about, you know, the what did you call our hair? Our crown. Our crown. Um, I've always been a person of like that helps people and that makes you want to feel good about yourself. So I feel like the crown that you wear every day shows the power that you have and the love that you instill. So by loving yourself, you can give that gift to others too because you're empowering others. Like, oh girl, I love that hair. Oh man, I love that that fade. It looks really good on you. Who did that? And you know, and then you go to that same person and you can still feel just as amazing. Because I want you to love your hair, love the hair you're in. That's kind of my motto, is my hashtag hair love.

SPEAKER_01:

I love that. Hashtag hair love. And uh you guys can help people love their hair, you can help them get a new style, or maybe they have a style they like. Uh, you listen to them and kind of find out, you know, what they want as well. And then you educate them uh too. So if they uh, you know, you you let them know what styles are available to them.

SPEAKER_04:

Absolutely, and then with some more realistic style for their hair and the type of hair and their ultimate goal. You know, I mean there could be something unrealistic, but then we're gonna talk to you about it and be normal and be like, okay, well, this is what we can do. Let's make you love what you can do and what you actually want to do with your hair. And then have a great experience while you're there, too.
