Ever wish your Monday came with a spark instead of a sigh?
We kick off with Jineane Ford checking in after her Vegas weekend — magic shows, good food, and maybe a little fog the next morning — while I get ready for the SLO Comedy Festival this week. Plus, VIP tickets for our March 14 Comedy Night at the Show Low Elks Lodge are almost sold out, and we’ve got the details.
Then it’s Motivational Monday — powered by Winter Olympic gold medalists. We share quotes from Lindsey Vonn, Shaun White, Apolo Ohno, and Mikaela Shiffrin about grit, resilience, and redefining success. If you need a reset or a push this week, this segment is for you.
We also try to give away Arizona Renaissance Festival tickets with 2026 Winter Olympics trivia. One caller goes 0-for-3. Another wins — without even knowing what station he’s listening to. Classic.
We wrap up with a quick Country News Minute and send you into the week fired up.
Hit play, grab a quote to carry into the week, and don’t wait on those VIP comedy tickets.

I like that one. Uh Sean White, three-time Olympic gold medalist in snowboarding, says success doesn't happen overnight. It's the result of years of hard work. No shortcuts. Uh Paulo Ono, uh, when you fall, get right back up. Just keep going, just keep pushing it. Uh Michaela Schriffin, uh, alpine skiing Olympic gold medalist, it's not about winning, it's about pushing yourself to be the best you can be.
unknownOh I like that.
SPEAKER_01I love that one. Erica Jong, Olympic snowboarder, says if you don't risk anything, you risk even more. Oh, and Chloe Kim, Olympic gold medalist snowboarding says, Dream big, work hard, and stay focused. Man, those all got me motivated. What is today's motivational quote?
SPEAKER_00I love pushing pushing yourself to be the best you can be. What was that? The next the last one. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Michaela Shrippin, Alpine Skiing. It's not about winning, it's about pushing yourself to be the best you can be. There you go. There we go. That is today's motivational quote for the week. I feel motivated, Janine. I hope you uh feel motivated to uh get some rest.

Caller Trivia: Redemption And Winner
Country News Minute
SPEAKER_01Love you too. Bye-bye. Good morning. You are caller number one. Who's this? Danny. Danny, where are you from, Danny? Show. Sholo, Danny from Sholo, calling to win two tickets to the Arizona Renaissance Festival. Here's what we're gonna do. The Winter Olympics just wrapped up yesterday, so we're gonna do some Winter Olympic trivia. You gotta get two answers right, and the tickets are yours, Danny. If you get three wrong, you're gone. Sound fair? Yep. Here we go. Which country led the medal count at the 2026 Winter Olympics? Was it A, USA, B, Norway, C, Italy, or D, Canada? Uh, USA. No, it is not USA. You must not have tuned into the sports minute. The number one uh medal count leader this year was Norway. Number two, USA. Alright, next question. The USA men's hockey team won gold this year for the first time since which year was it? A 1960, B 1980, C 1998, or D 2010? Uh I'm sorry? 2010? Is it 2010? You don't watch much Olympics, huh? Uh do you remember the miracle on ice? I don't. Oh, 1980. Were you even born yet? No. No, okay. You got two wrong. If you get one more wrong, you're gone. I gotta take next caller. But you might come from behind and capture the gold. How are you feeling? I'm feeling good about it. Alright, which athlete won gold and women's figure skating ending a 24 U.S. drought? Was it A, Ashley Wagner, B, Amber Glenn, C, Alyssa Liu, or D, Isabel Lavito? Uh, that's so easy. Is it D? You went O for three, best friend. I'm so sorry, Danny. The correct answer? Alyssa Lou. Call back 928-532-4144. If you want to try and go for gold and win two tickets to the Arizona Renaissance Festival. Good morning, it's the morning brew. Who's this? This is Ron. Ron, where are you from, Ron? I'm from Chambers. Ron from where? Chambers, Arizona. Chambers? Uh North. Oh, North. I've never heard of that. Okay. Oh, awesome. Alright, Ron, did you hear poor Danny go 0 for three? Yes. Oh, how did you do? Oh man, I did all three, but those were probably only three questions I know. Well, I got some other questions for you. You just gotta get two right, Ron, and you win these two tickets to the Arizona Renaissance Festival. If you get three wrong, you're gone. No. Uh here we go. In the biathlon relay, which country won its first Olympic gold in the event? Is it A, Germany, B, France, or C, Sweden, or D, Norway? I want to say Norway. You want to say Norway? But Norway was the number one medal count leader for the whole thing. So you really think they won their first Olympic gold in that event? Um no. No. So that's your lifeline. It's not Norway. It's either A, Germany, B, France, or C Sweden. I'd say France. It is France! There we go. Alright. Ron, you're one correct answer away from winning these tickets. How many total medals were awarded at the 2026 Winter Olympics? Is it A about 150? B about 195. C about 220, or D over 300? Oh, wow. I'd say D over 300. Uh D over 300? No, you got a wrong correct answer. About 195 metals. Yep. That was that was your second one. That was, yes, sir. Alright, okay. Which country won gold in women's ice hockey this year at the Olympics? Was it a USA, B, Sweden, C, Canada, or D Finland? It was a USA. It was. There we go. Way to go, Ron. Congratulations, Bestman. You just won two tickets to the Arizona Renaissance Festival. You ever been? Never been. We would love to go. That's great. Yeah. You could use these tickets any weekend up until the end of March. Make sure you wear sunglasses, Ron, because there's some great people watching and you don't want to be caught staring. And a lot of great food, a lot of great shows. Make sure you check out Dead Bob and the Jousting. What station hooked you up? Huzzah Station. What? Oh, they say huzzah there. But what rate what radio station hooked you up?
unknownOh.

SPEAKER_01You want to give me a multiple choice on that? So so you just listen to a bunch of stations? I listen to a bunch of stations. Up north is hard to get stations, so I just heard this one come on. Heck yeah. Well, this is your new favorite station, Ron. How far are you from Sholo? I'm about a mile. I mean an hour and a half from Sholo. No, two hours from Sholo, sorry. Two hours, okay. Yeah. Awesome. Well, we're coming in loud and clear, and we're we're now your new favorite station, Q Country 925. What station hooked you up? Pew Country. 925. All right, best friends. It's time for Chris's country news minute. Time for me to get you caught up in the news of country music. First up, Ella Langley. Uh, she is hot right now and she is not slowing down. She just dropped a brand new song called Be Her ahead of her upcoming album, Dandelion, which comes out on April 10th. And uh Hardy co-wrote the track uh with her, Be Her, and he said he knew it was a hit within 30 minutes of writing it. And the song dives into that feeling we've all had looking at someone else's life and thinking, man, I wish I could be her. Ella's been on an absolute rocket ship lately, and uh this one might keep that streak going. Uh next up, Carrie Underwood has officially announced she is in her granny era. That's right, and she's proud of it. Carrie Underwood says she loves crocheting, baking, sourdough, uh bird watching, fermenting hot sauce, and even milling her own grain. She says life isn't red carpets, it's laundry, gardening, and cleaning toilets. And honestly, we love that. That's good down to earth. And finally, big congratulations to Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, who just welcomed their third baby boy, Chet Wiley Combs. Uh, Luke even skipped a performance recently to make sure that he did not miss the birth of his uh son because family comes first. I'm Chris Bennett, and that was my country news minute.
