Yeah… today got a little out of hand 😭😂
We kick things off with Paul from Beaumont recapping his son’s bachelor party… and let’s just say it ended with matching tattoos in a place you probably weren’t expecting.
Then we put Paul to the test in “Are You Smarter Than a Redneck,” give away Diamondbacks tickets with a round of Dolphin Fact or Fake Fact, and wrap it all up with some feel-good stories on Talk About Something Good Tuesday.
Big thanks to Jineane Ford from Majik 101.7 and Italk 106.7 for joining us to share some good news — including a viral dad turning his daughter’s imagination into songs and the world’s oldest gorilla celebrating her birthday 🐒
Thanks for listening to The Morning Brew with Chris Bennett & Best Friends — don’t forget to follow, share, and join us live weekday mornings on Q Country 92.5!
Cold Open Butt Reveal
SPEAKER_01So at your son's bachelor party, you all basically showed each other your butts. Yeah. Yeah, and that pretty much sums up today's show. Welcome aboard. I'm Chris Bennett, and uh today, on today's show, we find out what the heck was Paul talking about because apparently things got a little wild at his son's bachelor party this weekend. We've got the full story. We find out if we're smarter than a redneck, gave away some diamondback tickets with a little dolphin fact or fake fact, and wrap it up with some good news on this talk about something good Tuesday. Let's get it started. Chris Bennett and the morning brew. Woo! That's Bob Lon! I said so! Yay! Yay! Holy moly, I didn't hear from you yesterday, so I didn't know if you made it back alive from your son's uh bachelor party in Hoochie Town, Oklahoma.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we made it back. We got a memento mark from the from the trip. A what? A memento mark from the trip. What's a memento mark? Uh, we got a tattoo.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh. Is this your first tattoo? No, no, no. So everyone on the bachelor uh party got uh matching tattoos. What is it?
SPEAKER_02Bigfoot on our butt.
SPEAKER_01Big foot. So at your son's bachelor party, you all basically showed each other your butts. Yeah. That sounds like a good redneck time. Did uh your wife and everyone's significant others know that you were getting tattoos, or are they just gonna be surprised uh when you take your clothes off and uh they see a Bigfoot on your butt?
SPEAKER_02No, they didn't know we were getting it until uh because uh Jane I was like, well, dude, they're all at your house right now. You might want to go ahead, might want to go ahead and FaceTime yours right now, and then they're all there, so they'll all know at the same time, but nobody can really get mad, right?
Are You Smarter Than A Redneck
SPEAKER_01So yeah. Oh my goodness gracious. Well, uh, it sounds like you guys had a great time. And then when's the big day? Uh the 2nd of May. Here we go. It is now time for Are You Smarter Than a Redneck with everyone's favorite redneck, Paul from Beaumont, back from his son's bachelor party. Uh, we're gonna do some bachelor party trivia. Here we go. Uh, what percentage of bachelor parties involve karaoke? A 10%, B, 30%, or C 50%? Paul. Paul.
SPEAKER_02It should be 50%.
SPEAKER_01No, it is not. Uh uh, let's see. I'm gonna say uh uh 30%. Ding ding ding ding. That's right. You're part of the 30%. Okay, cool. Uh what is what is the most popular karaoke song of all time, Paul? Is it A, Friends in Low Places, B, Sweet Caroline, or C, Don't Stop Believing? Chris, I'm gonna say Friends in Low Places. Nope, it's not. It's either Sweet Caroline or Don't Stop Believing.
SPEAKER_02Don't stop believing.
SPEAKER_01There we go. Dig, did you sing any of those songs?
SPEAKER_02Did you say that song? We all did Friends in Low Places.
SPEAKER_01Oh, there we go. Perfect. Okay. And uh you and I are tied at one apiece. This last question will determine the winner. What's the number one regret people have after bachelor parties? Is it A spending too much money, B, drinking too much, or C, embarrassing themselves?
SPEAKER_02Paul. Pa. Is there an all the above?
SPEAKER_01No, there did you do all that? You spent too much money, drank too much, and embarrassed yourself?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01No. Uh, I'm going to uh guess uh drinking too much. There we go. That is the correct answer. I am smarter than a redneck, Paul. It sounds like you have a lot of sleep to catch up on.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I do.
SPEAKER_01There you go. I'm still catching up. And is your butt still sore from the tattoo? No, it never was sore. Awesome. Well, welcome back, buddy. Uh glad you had a good time at the Bachelor Party, and uh, we'll uh talk to you soon, I hope.
SPEAKER_02All right, buddy. Talk to y'all later. See ya, bye. Bye-bye.
SPEAKER_01You are first caller. Who's this?

Dad Turns Kid Ideas Into Songs
SPEAKER_01Oh, perfect. Janine and Steve here is uh I'll go first with the good news story. And there's a dad going viral right now for turning his three-year-old daughter's imagination into real songs. Um, like most three-year-olds, she comes up with wild little ideas. She had one called the Purple Bear Princess, and instead of just laughing them off, her dad actually turns them into full songs. He's a music teacher in New York, and he'll sit down at the piano and take what she says and turn it into something that sounds like a real polished track. Here's a couple of his uh songs, Janine. Oh, here we go.
SPEAKER_00There was a purple bear princess. She was a grown-up dog. She was a grown-up purple bear princess dog. It's so funny.
SPEAKER_03You know what? What a great dad. Yeah, right. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, what started as just silly moments between him and his daughter have now blown up online. He's gone from just a handful of followers to hundreds of thousands with millions of uh plays, and people aren't just watching, they're loving it. Do you want to hear another one? Yeah, let's apple.
SPEAKER_00Apple Stooler.
SPEAKER_03That is great. I love it. It sounds so good too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, they really sound great.
SPEAKER_03And what's his name? How can we follow him? I want to know.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah. Here, let me see what his uh his name is. His name is Steven Spencer. So you can check him out, uh, Steven Spencer on Instagram or uh TikTok. He's under Steven Spencer. You can listen to all his uh great songs, and it's just one of those reminders that sometimes the best ideas come from just having fun and not overthinking it. So super cool. You could check out his uh uh songs, Apple Man Song, and uh a lot of other great songs there on his TikTok and Instagram. So that's my good news for the day. And when we come back, we'll get your good news stories.
SPEAKER_03All right, we all need an Apple Man and purple bear princess, you know.

SPEAKER_01That's right. All right, Janine, I'm ready for your good news on this Taco Bat Something Good Tuesday.

Her name is Lady Fattau, and she lives at the Berlin Zoo in Germany. For her birthday, they gave Lady Fattau fresh veggies, which is her favorite treat. She was born in West Africa in in the 1950s and has outlived her expect uh life expectations by decades. Man. She continues to hold the Guinness World Record for oldest living gorilla. And she's there's a picture of her online with her having her birthday.
