SPEAKER_01You regularly snore loudly and sometimes wake up uh gasping or choking. Normal. No, that is not normal, Dave. That is for me. Well, that was Sho Low's own Dave Ramsey on this annual medical checkup day, finding out what is normal and not normal. And apparently, Dave might need to make a doctor's appointment.

Raise The Wolf Fundraiser Details
SPEAKER_02of course, Lance. Tell them about what's coming up at the house in October.
SPEAKER_00Yes, in October, um, it would be on October the 4th. We're having our fourth annual Raise the Wolf uh fundraiser. That's our main fundraiser for the year. So again, it's on Sunday, October 4th from 1 to 5 p.m. Uh it's at the house, the restaurant the house. Most people are familiar with that location. It's a fun place to be at. We'll have a lot of uh like silent auctions, we'll have raffles, we're gonna have a live auction. And there should be music and they should be playing cornhole and that kind of thing.
SPEAKER_02Of course, there's food and and the big thing too now, Chris, they have time. So everybody that would like to donate for this fundraiser at the house with the Tales of Love Rescue, find them on Facebook, Tales of Love Rescue. Look for the blue, two blue dogs facing each other in the heart. You can't miss it on their Facebook page. It has all their information.

Lost Engagement Ring Found Fast
SPEAKER_01It is now time for my good news story on this talk about something good Tuesday. You ready, Janine?
SPEAKER_02Yes, we are.
SPEAKER_01All right, here we go. Um, for my story, imagine losing your engagement ring during the wedding. Does not sound like anything fun.
SPEAKER_02Is it the wedding ring or the engagement ring?
SPEAKER_01It was the uh engagement ring. Oh, okay. Yeah, so Abby and Tony Clark were getting married on a beach in the Channel Islands when bees started buzzing around the bride, and uh Abby swatted one away and accidentally sent her engagement ring flying into the sand. All 15 of the wedding guests immediately started searching, but nobody could find it. Rather than let it ruin their big day, Abby and Tony decided to carry on the ceremony, but their friends would not give up. They contacted Steve Andrews, a local firefighter, who volunteers this time helping people find lost rings with the metal detector, and he came down to the beach and found it in ten minutes.

SPEAKER_01Pretty cool. Yeah, her friends uh kept it a secret until the couple was about to cut the wedding cake, and that's when they surprised Abby and Tony with the good news. And the entire wedding erupted into cheers.

All right, here we go. A family enjoying a day at the beach in Wales found what they thought was an old buoy. The kids played around until authorities discovered it was actually an unexploded bomb. Real or fake? Real. It is real. Ding ding ding. Had you heard that story before? I have. Oh, there you go. All right, here we go. Uh, let's see. Beachgoers in Florida once woke up to find Shoreline covered with coffee, wine, pet food, paper towels, and other groceries. Ooh, real. That is real, yeah. Cargo container fell off a barge, and the contents washed onto Florida beaches, including thousands of cans of Cafe Postello coffee. Holy moly, you only needed two questions. You got two right. Normal Not Normal Health Check
SPEAKER_01On the phone, we have Sho Lozone Dave Ramsey. We have a special game today, Dave. Uh, instead of Boo or Cool, it's called Normal, Not Normal. Today is annual medical checkup day. So we're gonna find out some things going on with my body if they are normal or not normal. Sound good? Sound good. All right, you wake up slightly taller than you were when you went to bed. Is that normal or not normal? Not normal. It is actually normal. When you're laying down, your discs between your vertebrae and your spine are compressed as much as uh by gravity. So you can wake up slightly taller in the morning. There you go. Uh, what about your eyelid randomly twitches for a few seconds or minutes, especially when you're tired or stressed? Is that normal or not normal? Normal. There you go. Does that happen to you? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Occasional eyelid twitching is extremely common, I guess. So it and it could be caused from stress, fatigue, caffeine, eye strain are frequent triggers. Okay. Uh, how about this one? Your urine smells strange after eating asparagus.
SPEAKER_03Normal.
SPEAKER_01Normal. That is normal, right? It smells bad, right?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it smells like a grasshopper.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, asparagus contains compounds that your body breaks down into sulfur containing chemicals, and uh, so that is what causes the bad smell after you eat a bunch of asparagus. And last one you regularly snore loudly and sometimes wake up uh gasping or choking. Normal. No, that is not normal, Dave. It might be for me. Well, it might be for you, but it is not something to just write off as normal. Snoring itself is common, but loud snoring combined with gasping, choking, or pauses and breathing can be associated with sleep apnea, and it definitely deserves medical evaluation on this annual medical checkup. You should uh make an appointment and get that checked out, best friend.
SPEAKER_03I have many times, and I usually wake up at two o'clock in the morning after these stupid sleep tests, and they say, You up already? I said, Yeah, and I'm out of here.
