Why Christmas?

Luke 2:11-14 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host   praising God and saying: 14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill[b] toward men!”

Luke 2:14
14 “Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”

Matthew 10:34
34 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.

1 Timothy 1:15
15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

2 Peter 3:9
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Luke 2:14
