Fractured Ink: Writing In Life's Chaos (audio)
This Podcast will focus on fiction writing that deals with families undergoing the chaos of severe challenges. We'll start by introducing my two published novels, "The Overlife: A Tale of Schizophrenia" (https://amazon.com/dp/191685219X) and "Three Kidnapped, Three Siblings, Three Furies"(https://amazon.com/dp/B0DPXW76DV/), with some information about myself. For example, "The Overlife" is inspired by my personal experience with my paranoid schizophrenia and my mother's. "Three Siblings" deals with sibling abuse and is inspired by my complex PTSD. I also live with absence epilepsy. My mind is "Fractured" by these conditions, affecting the "Ink" I choose to leave on my writing pages. We will also discuss these conditions for their own sake. We will feature other authors dealing with families facing the chaos of a severe challenge.
Despite the serious nature of this description, we will have some fun! Humor has always been a big part of my life and is sometimes the best therapy.

Kindle Scribe Color Soft: new device out Dec 10 2025
Here is what I have found out so far about the new device. The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft is Amazon's first color e-ink version of the Kindle Scribe note-taking device. It features an 11-inch Colorsoft display for vibrant colors in notes, comics, and highlights, along with a front light, AI-powered note tools, and integration with services like Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. The pen supports 10 writing colors and 5 highlighting options, and the device is thinner (5.4) and faster (40% speed boost) than previous models. It starts at $629.99 for 32GB in Graphite (click) and will be available for purchase in the US starting December 10, 2025, with no preorders. A Fig (purple) variant is expected in early 2026.

Hello. Hope you all had a great weekend. I wanted to just make a very, very short episode to uh announce the uh forthcoming new device from Amazon.com. So it's called the Kindle Scribe Color Soft. So it's uh a cross between the Kindle Scribe and the Kindle Color Soft. It's Amazon's first color e-ink version of its note-taking Kindle Scribe device. It features an 11-inch colorsoft display for vibrant colors in notes, comics, and highlights, along with a front light AI-powered note tools and integration with services like Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. The pen supports 10 writing colours and five highlighting options. And the device is thinner, 5.4 millimeters, and faster, 40% speed boost than previous models. It starts at$629.99 for 32 GB in graphic black and will be available for purchase in the US starting December 10, 2025, with no pre-orders. So that's very soon. A fig purple variant is expected in early 2006. So as you know, if you've been following my podcast, I have uh recently acquired uh the Kindle Scribe and uh the Colorsoft uh Kindle as separate devices, okay, and uh the Kindle Fire, which is quite something again. So you may ask, well, uh, are you gonna recommend this Kindle Scribe Colorsoft? Well, based on my experience of the Kindle devices so far, I will recommend it, but I will make plain that I don't as yet have the device. And probably I uh since it's so expensive, I will probably wait uh a little bit to see if uh I can get it on promotion. But uh if you want to go ahead and get it in the meantime, uh please do. And as of uh December 10th, I will have uh an affiliate link uh available for uh you to use my affiliate link to get to the device. Okay, I just wanted to say that so that you're aware and you're up to date, and I'll say goodbye for now.
