This Podcast will focus on fiction writing that deals with families undergoing the chaos of severe challenges. We'll start by introducing my two published novels, "The Overlife: A Tale of Schizophrenia" (https://amazon.com/dp/191685219X) and "Three Kidnapped, Three Siblings, Three Furies"(https://amazon.com/dp/B0DPXW76DV/), with some information about myself. For example, "The Overlife" is inspired by my personal experience with my paranoid schizophrenia and my mother's. "Three Siblings" deals with sibling abuse and is inspired by my complex PTSD. I also live with absence epilepsy. My mind is "Fractured" by these conditions, affecting the "Ink" I choose to leave on my writing pages. We will also discuss these conditions for their own sake. We will feature other authors dealing with families facing the chaos of a severe challenge.
Despite the serious nature of this description, we will have some fun! Humor has always been a big part of my life and is sometimes the best therapy.

Hello, I hope you're all doing well. So I am here with a brief episode just to bring to your attention that there are some great deals at the moment on Amazon.com, especially for Prime members. And in particular, there's a widespread deal that covers many, many Kindle accessories. And they're mostly taking 20% off, but there are some items that are 30% off. And the uh products are disappearing fast because people are leaping in to get either to get an accessory they don't have or to get an accessory that uh they'd like to renew. So I just wanted to give you uh four examples uh of uh device accessories that we've already discussed. So they're ones that I own and use and that I recommend. So uh the first one, oh let me switch over to um screen share, and that would be very helpful, I think. Okay, so uh here we are. So I just wanted to give four examples. So this is the uh Amazon case for the uh color soft signature edition. And uh I looked it up and it's 20% off, so it's uh$34.39, and it's the lowest price in 90 days. So this is uh the Kindle Scribe. Now the Kindle Scribe, so it's not the Kindle Scribe color soft, and it's not the Kindle Scribe without the front light, it's the Kindle scribe, and uh this uh the the cover here, or the case if you like to call it, is uh actually 30% off, and no doubt that uh deep discount is because they've come out with these newer model uh um Kindle Scribes. But a lot of us like me are going to wait a little bit on the newer scribes and get some more use out of uh the Kindle Scribe uh that was already in existence before the Kindle Scribe uh Colorsoft and the Kindle Scribe without front light. So this this cover is now 30% off, and uh it that brings it down to$55.99. Okay. So maybe you just want an extra one, it's a good time to dive in and get one. Maybe you don't have one, and uh, I really recommend it because it fits the Kindle Scribe uh like a glove. And uh the next uh example is the premium pen. Uh the Amazon Kindle Scribe premium pen, it's 20% off, and that brings it down to$63.55. Now, this is a rather fragile part of um uh the accessory world for the Kindle Scribe, and you may well want to buy another one, or uh you may want to have two because you're in one place uh a lot of the time in another place a lot a lot of the time, and uh uh you don't want to have to carry the premium pen. Uh so that is my case. Uh I'm in Texas and Alaska, and I I'm not gonna use my premium pen on the plane, so if I buy a second one, then I can take it up there and have one in each place. So that's uh um so the the the fourth example, and it's a very humble thing, but I have found it very useful. Uh, I bought it when I bought my Kindle Scribe. So the Kindle Scribe came with the uh charging cable, which means you can uh charge it from a USB port. But uh I actually went ahead and got the uh Amazon 9 watt official OEM USB charger and power adapter for Kindle devices. So you can use it on pretty much any Kindle device, and I just find it so useful to have something I can plug into the wall um because uh not every place that you go has uh has charging ports, okay, uh for USB or for uh C type uh charges. And so this one is 20% off, uh, which brings it down to$15.99. And Amazon has marked it as a deal selling fast.
