SHRM’s All Things Work podcast continues to provide coverage of how the world of work is responding to the pandemic.

This time last year, talent shortages were on the minds HR and recruiting professionals everywhere, but the onset of COVID-19 shifted employers’ focus at many organizations from talent acquisition to a survivalist mindset of just trying to stay open and adapt to the new complications of operating during a pandemic. After months of recalibrating to a new normal, employers are again looking toward their future success and returning to the question of, “How do I get the best people to work for my organization?”

To discuss recruiting and retaining talent in a post-COVID world is Jim Bitterle.

Jim is a Managing Partner with EDSI Consulting, a national workforce development, talent and training company that helps companies and communities train and retain great people. He’s also the author of the new book “Unquittable”, published by SHRM, which is a guide to the most effective tools, strategies and processes for attracting, developing and retaining talent in your organization.
