Hey, hey, everybody. Welcome to the Core Energy Experience. Tonight we have something very different, and you're going to enjoy it very much. We have no guest, but we have the partners, myself and Alex Fabio.
SPEAKER_00How do you do? There he is. How are you, Kurt? I'm so stoked. Yeah. Good to have you, partner. Yeah, it's been a while since us partners had a convo like this on the pod.
SPEAKER_02So sat down and done our routine.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah. It's pretty crazy. Um, you know, coming back on here. We've had so many amazing guests.
SPEAKER_02We have, haven't we?
SPEAKER_00We have, all the way back from episode one. I mean, it's just been insane.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. So just let the guests know, speaking of, um, Alex and I are going to do a shorter version of the uh episode, and uh there's gonna be a few of these, we're calling them segments that we're gonna push out. So today we're gonna concentrate a little bit about transition, which as you know is one of the four concentrations. If you recall, leadership, performance, well-being, and transition. So today, Alex and I, uh as partners, we decide to bring out the transition. So, with that being said, we do like to tie in guests to whatever we're talking about with the core energy, as you well know, because we're all the same about our core, but we're unique and different always and forever. That's why we bring on different guests so they can explain away their experiences and we identify with it in some way or another. So, with that, we're gonna start talking about transition. And my partner Alex has some really big news about transition.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so I've I've probably gone through the biggest transition of my entire life. Uh just about a month ago, I became a father.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I uh my my wife and I became parents to a lovely little girl named Rosalia, and uh she's perfect. I mean, this has been far and beyond the the biggest transition I've ever been through in my life and the greatest, most incredible gift I've ever received. So it's it's been truly um magical, humbling, uh huge life lessons every single day. Um, and I just feel really, really proud.
SPEAKER_02That's fabulous. She's a beautiful girl.
SPEAKER_00Thank you.
SPEAKER_02And to Kim too, right? I mean, it it takes two of you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, I know. I was thinking about this on the way over here, you know. It's like there were times in my life where I never even really thought I would make it this far, you know.
SPEAKER_02Really? Yeah, as far as what, being a dad?
SPEAKER_00Being a dad, yeah, being a dad and in a stable environment, you know. Like since I was 12 years old, I was just fully one-track mind dedicated to being in a rock band, playing guitar, honing my skills as a songwriter, touring. And, you know, many people don't make it out of that lifestyle with steady relationships or with, you know, a a nice environment to cultivate a family. And so I just feel really blessed to to have met Kim and be in the position I am now and have a uh an incredible daughter.
SPEAKER_02That is something else. Having life, watching your wife carry the baby and God bless all women out there. And men, I suggest we bow down to all this, right? We all know that.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_02And to see the development of it and the whole transition of it as we're talking about transition.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then finally, baby arrives. And you can't really prepare for it. You know, so many of us give give people um what we think is invaluable information about what to do with the when the baby comes out and whatnot, but it doesn't matter because we're all different, we all handle a little a little differently.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Uh and preparing for it is is really something that you can't prepare exactly for it because time's gonna make it different when it happens.
SPEAKER_00That's true. It's it's pretty futile, actually, trying to prepare for it. I mean, you can in some ways try to mentally prepare so that at least maybe it's not so explosive in your mind and your psyche when these things happen. But I uh I I reference uh Chris Williamson for Modern Wisdom Podcast. He's he says unteachable lessons. And that's definitely one of them. Having a baby is an unteachable lesson. Um, you know, seeing your wife or your partner go through pregnancy, unteachable lesson, you know. Um, the birth experience, totally unteachable. And raising a child now I'm one month in. She's a month and four days today. And uh totally unteachable. I mean, you can't you can't possibly explain to someone what it's gonna feel like um and how it's going to affect you um and your worldview um until you do it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. You know, um, Alex, you and I talk a lot about the different uh influencers in our lives, and that's part of our core, right? What influences us. And there's you know, there's a few, as we know, it's uh environmental, uh social, uh, physical, mental, and that spiritual part.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_02And how has that been with you guys, the spirituality of it all?
SPEAKER_00It's been good. Um, I think having some kind of a spiritual core is really helpful in these times of starting a family and going through like really, really, really hard ships, like with pregnancy and birth and raising the child. I mean, anyone who's had a newborn baby knows how rough it can be at times because you know their only communication is crying. So uh it's a lot of patience and dealing with the constant discomfort of the child realizing they're alive and they're not in mommy's womb anymore, you know? And so um having a little bit of a spiritual core is definitely helpful for us. Um, you know, I'll read excerpts from the I Ching or from uh like uh the Law of One, like stuff like that. That's just like old texts that can help ground us. And you know, I'll kind of read them aloud or just to myself sometimes to remind me to like you know be present and not take any second for granted. Because the other incredible thing is she's growing every day, every second. So like it's it's all happening so fast that like you don't want to miss it. And it's it's easy to in the days of being a new parent, you know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and you and I talk a lot about change, and when that's time, right? So you know you're hitting on it right now. And again, audience, this is what we're you know, pointing out. You know, we all have very similar things happen to us, but we're always in transition and it's uh happening constantly as we you know, we speak about. So, you know, Alex, we've had on such a variety of guests. We sure have, and it's really been an enlightening and fun, hasn't it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's been a blast.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So let's just go back to our first one, yeah, if you will, uh Brian Cooper. Cooper who worked with me uh in the World Trade Center uh in the uh precious metals industry of uh commodity futures. And uh so Brian and I both went through the uh the two World Trade Center attacks. Yes. And if we recall how Brian spoke so deeply about it, right?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I mean, the transition that he's gone through in his life to tie it back is unbelievable. I mean, from you guys working on the Trade Center floor, experiencing those two attacks, to his almost like a rebirth in his life now down in Naples, Florida, working with Mighty Dog Roofing.
SPEAKER_02I mean totally different, right?
SPEAKER_00Completely different. Talk about transition, transformation, even, you know. It's both it's it's incredible what you guys experienced and what everybody did um in those tragic events. So to bring something positive out of it is really impressive. Yeah. With Brian, you know.
SPEAKER_02And as we see as we go forward with, you know, our uh our multiple guests in different ways, we hear now that was a very that was a deep conversation, right? Yeah, as we know. And we've had so many that are so much uh lighter and different, and some that are deep in their own ways. And that's part of the beauty of having you know the multiple different cast members of guests that come on and speak their truth. Isn't it so interesting though, how they when they come on that they really start unwinding and just sort of get raw and their their truth comes out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think one of the one of the best examples of like the other side of the spectrum of guests would be Blaze. Yes. You know, Blaze and I had that amazing conversation, and it was just so filled with like fun and light, but depth, right? Because Blaze is very a very deep person. We touched some deep topics, but he's also just an open book and like excuse me, and let's singer, songwriter, let the audience know, right? Yeah, Blaze, incredible singer-songwriter, pop star, probably one of the most notable people out of Asbury Park in the last few years. Um dresses very flamboyantly. Yes, you could see Blaze out any night with a giant bow the size of a human being, or uh, you know, uh uh see-through sheer dress or something, you know. It's it's incredible uh the artistry that Blaze brings to the table. But he too has experienced these massive transitions, similarly to like opposite side of the spectrum, right? Yeah. But his transition from, let's say, the fashion world, right, in New York City to coming back to New Jersey and going the route of becoming a musician and developing as a pop star to be like one of the most notable New Jersey acts. And this year is actually playing See Here Now Festival on the beach. I mean, it's just incredible.
SPEAKER_02His growth, and we talk a lot about that too, and that happens with what? Transition, time, change. Yep, right? And then in different ways, as we're pointing out now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And Blaze really exhibits a lot you know so much of that. Yeah, he was really a lot of fun. Yeah. I wasn't there for that one, unfortunately. You did that one. Oh, I had a blast. Yeah, you guys really really did a great job.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And and we can go on to, you know, other guests. Uh, let's see, let's pick uh let's say uh Dr. Axa. Yeah, you know. Remember Dr. Axa? Of course.
SPEAKER_00How could I forget?
SPEAKER_02She was interesting. She she is uh uh her concentration is what about health and wellness? Yeah, and really about the aging process.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, correct. She was she was saying that uh historically, technically, we have the ability to live up to a hundred, what was it, a hundred years? 125, I think she said. Wow, yeah, 125 years. That is uh a mind-blowing concept.
SPEAKER_02She was really interesting, wasn't she? You know, she was in comparison to just the two that we've already brought out. Yeah, that's another spin on it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And her whole take about transition and how, well, how the heck do we remember? We asked her, how do you how could we last that long? And then she said, Oh, about 115. Now, if we know, we've read about people who are 105, 110.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you know, and my grandmother lived to 104.
SPEAKER_02There you see, yeah, there you go. Yeah, so it is it is all possible. And that's the other reason about bringing on these different guests is that you hear things that you're like scratch your head at and say, No way. Is that really is that really possible? And sure enough, they explain themselves away and it it makes sense.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, boom. Here's an example of it right there. Yeah, yeah, it's incredible. I I think one of the greatest things about all these guests that kind of brings it together for me, and something that just I feel I like working on this show now for so long, it's like feeling this thread that kind of ties everything together is that everybody has used their core in some way or another to get from point A to point B, right? Yes, you know, whether it's those massive transitions of Coop or Blaze or Dr. Axe's work or whatever, you know, it's they all, whether they know it or not, whether they have the vocabulary to specify what's happening or not, they're using their core to start from within and then come out in a way that um they can bring light to the world. So that's so cool.
SPEAKER_02That's excellent. That's so true, Alex. And thank you for summing that up. Uh, audience, that's that is it for this segment today. We wanted to bring that out and just give you a little taste of where we're headed with it all, just as a reminder for you. So when you come on and you watch us, you can uh relate to it more and more. And we appreciate you coming on 100%. Uh, we would like to give thanks to Rec Productions always. We're very thankful for them. And my partner Alex, he's on the back end of a lot of it after we get through doing some editing with uh uh Recht. Alex takes care of all the crux. So he and I are compliment one another, and we're we're so fortunate to have one another. I'm really fortunate to have one of the best partners I've ever had in my life. And I've had a I've had a few.
SPEAKER_00Well, thank you, Kurt. I appreciate it. And the same goes back to you. And I just want to say to the audience too, if you haven't subscribed, please do. Um, you know, as the nature of the internet, a lot of people who see content, they just watch it and move on to the next thing. But it helps us a lot to uh grow our audience and grow our platform. If you would subscribe and comment and like and just let us know you're there and let us know that uh you've heard what you know, you're picking up what we're putting down here at the Core Energy Experience. So we appreciate you tuning in. And uh, I'm excited for these uh these new segments.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I am too. And thank you for all that, Alex. You're awesome. Everyone, thank you for attending today. So remember your mind is your power. Stay empowered.
