Buckle Up Podcast Universe: Spotlight with Proud Navy Veteran Shy
Today on the Buckle Up Podcast, we were honored to sit down with my great friend Shy—a proud Navy veteran, incredible human being, and someone whose story truly inspires. We talked about everything from her journey into the Navy, her time in college, to her experiences serving overseas, including being deployed in Japan. Shy opened up about the realities of deployment, the transition back into civilian life, and the lessons she’s carried with her along the way. We even had some fun talking about movies and life beyond the military. It was a powerful conversation filled with honesty, humor, and heart. Shy strength and resilience shine through, and I’m so grateful she shared her story with us.
“We didn’t know it all— we learned with love, led with kindness, and earned our way to the top.”
