Carlito Hill, aka DJ Carlito, is the sonic soul of Throwdown Theatre and a founding force at ROX-TV. Since joining in 2020, he’s been spinning more than just records — he’s been spinning culture, stories, and legacy into every project. A Detroit original with deep roots in music, wrestling, and underground media, Carlito co-created the fan-favorite radio show Cruisin’ The Barrio with Rude Boy, blending Latin oldies, hip-hop, and real talk into a community staple. But he didn’t stop there. Behind the scenes, Carlito helped shape the voice and visual style of Throwdown Theatre, digging up rare footage, crafting promo material, and keeping the brand’s energy locked at 100. Whether on the mic, behind the decks, or editing in the lab, Carlito Hill brings the flavor, the hustle, and the history. From Mexicantown to the Motor City, his fingerprints are all over the movement.
