Well, we've talked a lot about places you can go with the family going to amusement parks, going to the beach. But a lot of people don't want to go to the beach and get in all the salt water, so they're looking for something else to do, like perhaps go to one of the many lakes that are in the state of Texas. So there's several different levels of family resorts that you can find in Texas. We're going to start with a remote family camp called Deer Lake Cabins Ranch Resort. Now, this is up in East Texas, up in the Pine Forest. It's a nice family escape with lakefront cabins and ranch-style lodging. Families can go horseback riding, paddle boating, hiking, fishing, utv's, got cabins full of kitchens you can camp. You've got decks but it's not crowded and it's not you know a lot of things going on at night. It's got endless outdoor space. So this is a great place for unplugging, reconnecting. Then we're going to move up to some a little more rustic and scenic called Canyon of the Eagles. It's a nature lover's paradise on Lake Buchanan. It offers hiking trails, stargazing in an observatory, wildlife watching, got some lake cruises you can do. The family can stay in lodge rooms. They can enjoy activities like crafts, scavenger hunts, a lot of things that you can do in the outdoor for the eco-conscious family wanting a scenic, slower-paced vacation, then we're going to step up to something a little more casual and chill called the Heart of Texas Lake Resort, and it is an experience for families located on Lake LBJ Got cabins, motel rooms, rv sites, kids can play on the playground, got a pool, go fishing, mini golf, indoor games. It just got a relaxed atmosphere that is basically nostalgic and no frills. Family retreat.

Now a resort, a family resort, is Lakeway Resort and Spa on Lake Travis. Now this is up on the hill up above Lake Travis Got spas and the resort, family fun, with elegant comfort, because it's got three pools, kid splash zone, water slide, full-service marina for boats, got movie nights for the family, on-site dining, a spa, lots of things you can do. And it's just outside of Austin, so if you run out of things you can do, you can buzz into Austin real quick. Now, if you want something that's a little more fun and lively, there's the Margaritaville Lake Resort over on Lake Conroe. Now it's got tropical vibes with a Texas twist and there's a three-acre water park with a lazy river, splashstones, pools, on-site dining, boat rentals, mini golf, spa services. This is actually out on Lake Conroe, so there's all the activities that you can find on Lake Conroe to go along with it. Now, if you want something to get into the luxury and the active luxury area, horseshoe Bay Resort is a luxurious family resort.

If you're looking for something like that on Lake LBJ, that would be Lake Conroe Did.
