We trace how words dig holes or build paths, moving from complaint to praise, from blame to blessing, and from self-reliance to Spirit-led speech. Scripture anchors each step as we outline practical ways to plant better seeds with our tongues and walk in love.
• the fruit of the lips as sacrifice of praise
• thanksgiving offering that admits human imperfection
• God’s mercy contrasted with the devil’s distortion
• the battle line at thoughts, words, and confession
• you will not rise above your confession
• practical repentance and daily habits of love
• seeing the kingdom within and acting like Christ
• change your seeds to change your harvest
• blessing, intercession, and Scripture as daily practice

"The Flowers You Are Picking Today Come From the Seeds You Planted Yesterday. Don't Like Your Boquet Of Flowers? Then Change the Seeds You Are Planting Today." Chaplain Terry
Framing The Message And Theme
SPEAKER_00Hello friend, Chapman Terry Warner here. This will be podcast number E50 season twenty twenty five. I generally give the season first Podcast season twenty twenty five episode fifty five zero Getting out of the hole that you dug for yourself. Ha you like that? I talked to myself. Don't think don't think you're the only one. I'm gonna start in Hosea fourteen. That's a good place to start. O Israel, return to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled and fallen, visited by calamity due to your iniquity. Take with you words and return to the Lord. Say to him, Take away all our iniquity, except what is good, and receive us graciously, so we will render our thanks as bullocks, to be sacrificed, and pay the confession of our lips. Hebrews thirteen fifteen, Hosea fourteen one and two amplified. Through him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of the lips that faithfully acknowledge and confess and glorify his name. Hebrews thirteen fifteen amplified. You know, we think about praise and we try to praise and we try to praise a little bit, but we're going around in a funk all the time because things are just not working out. We oh we put up a good front, we put up a good face, and we make a good show of everything. But this world is a rotten world, and its sin has just about wreaked all the destruction it's going to wreak before the Lord returns. And here we are still plugged in around in the mud and the mire and the muck, trying to build a kingdom for God, but we can't even build a kingdom for ourselves. And it starts with us first. It starts with God. God started first, don't get me wrong. But your condition and your circumstances have got to come from your heart. Have got to come out your mouth, and you've got to speak it. And it's got to be something more than just reading it out of a book or saying it a certain way. Leviticus seven verse twelve says it explains that the he explains I duplicated there. The regulations for a thanksgiving peace offering, a sacrifice offered in gratitude for God's blessing, such as deliverance from danger, are a serious illness. The offering is unique and it includes not only unleavened bread mixed with oil, but also leavened cakes. The leaven of the leavened bread, the addition of the leavened bread, symbolizes that while the offerer is thankful, they still acknowledge their human imperfection and sinfulness. That's the old AI kicking in and re explain it a little better. I use AI occasionally, but I make sure I read every word first before it's published. Peace, peace to him who is far off, both Jew and Gentile, and to him who is near, says the Lord. I create the fruit of his lips, and I will heal him, make his lips blossom anew with speech and thankful praise. Isaiah fifty seven nineteen. But what do we do? Instead of speaking the words of praise and thankfulness and gratitude, what do we do? We gripe and complain and blame God for our condition and circumstances. God didn't put us here to be a bunch of complainers. He put us here to bless us, have fellowship with us, and let us be kings and priests over this earth and rule. Well, if you're a king, that means that this earth is your kingdom. The body of Christ is your kingdom. Whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven. Whatever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. So loose the ministry and angels today. Loose the angels of healing and sick and sickness, not sickness, but healing from sickness. The offering is unique because it includes not only leavened bread mixed with oil, but also leavened cakes. I said that. This addition of the leavened bread symbolizes that while the offerer is thankful, they still acknowledge their human imperfection and sinfulness. Peace, peace to him who is both far off, both Jew and Gentile, and to him who is near. You know, when Jesus was born, peace on earth, good will toward men. God is a God of love, compassion, slow to anger, plenteous in mercy. What in the world happened to that image of God? Well, I'll tell you what happened to it. The devil got in and twisted it and turned it around and got everyone believing God struck them with lightning or hit them with something or give them some kind of signature disease to teach us something. It says the Holy Spirit is our teacher. He will guide us into all truth, not the devil. Stop and think and realize God is not the problem. The devil is our problem, and it's actually the spirit of the devil. It's not a person. I tell you, there's a bunch of jerks in this world. There's a bunch of hypocrites. But, you know, welcome to the club. But our battle is not against flesh and blood. In other words, it's not against a personality or a politician. Where was I? For the promise of the Holy Spirit is to and for you and your children, and to all who are far away, even as to many as the Lord invites and bids him to come to himself. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as the Lord has said, and among the remnant of survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls. Acts two, seventeen through twenty one. All year long we've been planting seeds with our words that come from our mouth. Well, we have been planting seeds with words coming out of our hearts, and manifesting are being made real to our physical life by coming out of our mouth. We then believe our words and act on them and wonder why our lifestyle is that of living in a hellish pit. Well look at your words. It's just that simple. So how do we get out of this hole that we made with our words? Our first step is that we need to realize that the battle is taking place, it originates and starts with thoughts, then the words, then those speaking of the words, and bringing it to pass to the words that come out of our mouth. You're never going to rise above your confession. You're never going to get any better than what's coming out of your mouth. What's coming out your mouth? Is it TV? Is it social? Is it me social media? Is it Facebook? I shouldn't say Facebook. I retract that Facebook. Is it FB? Is it TW? Not me. Not my TW. So how do you handle your thoughts? In short, you don't. But basically you let the Holy Spirit teach you how to control your words and drive the unbelieving. I can do it myself, and I realize that the thoughts coming into your heart, also your soul and physical senses, including your conscience. It's being set into motion, absorbed into your mind, and those words, thoughts are conceived and brought forth or into action by your lifestyle and words. I can do it. I'm a self-made man. I don't need anybody. I can do it by myself. Oh yeah, don't we wish? And all of that is started by something small, namely your tongue, that can only be tamed or controlled by the Holy Spirit. A born-again Christian cannot be demon possessed, but in a lot of cases, a lot of born-again Christians are living a life of hell because they are staying away and living outside of the Word of the Holy Bible. Today, if you will repent and start studying and following the words of Jesus, you can start filling in the hole that you've dug for yourself. However, you must start seeing yourself as what God intended you to be. To start, start by walking in love toward everyone. Loving others is more than just being nice and considerate toward others. The next step I would recommend would be to start reading and listening to God's word. This is done by doing and acting like Jesus, is alive in your life here on the earth. And if you're a Christian, if you've given your heart to Jesus Christ, he is actually living on the inside of you. The kingdom of God is within you. You bow your head, you're looking at the Holy Spirit. Look no further than yourself. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus, the Word, who being in the very nature of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. Philippians 2, 5 and 7. That's the NIV. The bouquet of flowers you're picking today are from the seeds you planted yesterday. Don't like the look and smell your bouquet? Then change your seeds. You have a blessed day in Jesus' name. Amen. This has been Chaplain Terry Warner. My podcasts come out every Monday morning.
