"The Flowers You Are Picking Today Come From the Seeds You Planted Yesterday. Don't Like Your Boquet Of Flowers? Then Change the Seeds You Are Planting Today." Chaplain Terry
Beware Of Quitting
SPEAKER_00Hello, friend, Chaplin Terry Warner here. This episode is titled Beware of Quitting. It's season 2025, episode number 52, and it publishes for podcast on December 31st, 2025. At 1 o'clock in the morning, if you want to get up. Your foundation scriptures are Philippians 1, verse 6, Philippians 3, verse 12 through 14. Every day in 2025, if you've been reading with me, you've been planting seeds. I kept a daily journal of my Bible reading, and in a year's time, I will have read through the entire Bible by reading from Genesis to Revelation. My daily journal at the beginning of the page, I use a spiral a spiral notebook and the title has been Come Alive in 2025. How? By planting seeds. In addition to reading through the Bible, in addition to reading through the Bible, I then listened to podcasts, read biblical books, and continue to fellowship with the Holy Spirit during the day. We are now getting ready to enter a new year, and the seeds you have planted in 2025 are going to need watering and care. And by that's done by applying the Holy Spirit's power over the seeds you have planted. Maybe you have been watering your seeds as you planted them last year. Maybe you're going to make seed planting a priority in 2026. However, if you have been planting seeds every day of your life and not realize it, a lot of your seeds are ruining the good seed, a lot of your bad seeds. But the seed may be lying dormant in the ground. Your heart, in other words, and is waiting on some spiritual watering. This spiritual water, provided by God, and in a lot of situations, the spiritual power is the words of the devil. Either way you are watering and nourishing your planted seeds every day, or you are burying them and letting them die every day. The seeds don't quit existing. The bad seeds bring about bad things. The good seeds bring about good things. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So what comes out of your mouth without you thinking about it, without you saying about it, it's what's in your heart. So what's in there? Gun smoke? Soap operas? Social media? What's in there? I tell you, social media started out pretty good, but now it has just become a a a magnitude of evil and bad thoughts and violence and and killings and pushing and misfortune and we laugh at it and everything else. Now you can't pray for all that. It'd be nice if you could. Maybe change some of it around. But you can affect your world. And that's where you need to start. In 2026, you need to start watering the seeds or the bad seeds that you've planted, you need to start digging them up and getting rid of it. Get rid of foul communication. Get rid of anger. Get rid of hatred. Get rid of prejudice. Get rid of all that stuff. Lying. The only difference between Oh, this is hurt. The only difference between murder and gluttony is a comma. Stop and think about it. Jesus Christ died for you so that you could live a righteous and right kind of life. Listen to this. My son or daughter, attend to my word, God's word. Consent, consent, and submit to my saints. Let them not depart from your sight. Keep them in the center of your heart, for they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh. That would be hearing, seeing, feeling, smell, taste. And let us also add in our mind and our conscience and our words. Keep and guard your heart with all villages, and above all that you guard, for out of it, out of your heart, the bringing out of the words and causing them to come to pass, flows the springs of life that is needed for your words to come to life and fruition, completeness. In other words, if your words come out of your heart are good and kind and and and praying for people, you're going to have a good treasure. If your words are anger, hate, rage, frustration, you're going to have bad seeds, and you're going to have bad fruit. Stop and think about that, and I'll be back in just a minute. Put away from you false and dishonest speech, and willful and contrary talk put far from you. Let your eyes look right on with fixed purpose, and let your gaze be straight before you. Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established in order to write. Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left hand. Remove your foot from evil. Proverbs four twenty through twenty-seven amplified, and I have a little bit added in there for emphasis. For those of you who did not plant good seeds or failed to comply with God's laws, ask God to forgive you and start your journey new with God right now. All things have been entrusted and delivered to me by my Father, and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Well, let me back that up. Hang on just a second. Alright, let's try this again. I had a typo. All things have been entrusted and delivered to me by my Father, and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father. And no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son, and any one to whom the Son deliberately wills to make him known. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am gentle, meek, and humble, lowly in heart, and you will find rest, relief and ease, and refreshment and recreation, and blessed quietness for your souls. Jeremiah 6 16 Amplified For my yoke is wholesome, useful, good, not harsh, sharp, oppressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant, and my burden is light and easy to be borne. Matthew 11 27 to 30. You get the idea. Plant good seeds of love. Be kind, be compassionate, be considerate. Put others first. Jesus first, others second, you last spells is an acronym for joy. Let's make twenty twenty-six a year to remember, not a year to regret. You have a blessed day in Jesus' name. Amen.
