Ready for a reset that actually sticks? We open a new season by moving from watering seeds to harvesting them, focusing on how identity, words, and daily habits align your life with God’s reconciliation and abundance. Chaplain Terry Warner guides us through 2 Corinthians 5 to show what it means to be a new creation and an ambassador of grace, then pairs it with Philippians 3 to help us forget what’s behind and strain toward what’s ahead.

You’ll hear why motivation by love and faith outperforms transaction thinking, and how speaking God’s words anchors your focus when feelings wobble. We unpack Isaiah’s call to “put Me in remembrance,” not because God forgets, but because we do—our confession trains our attention and reshapes our reactions. From John 10:10 to practical steps like starting a Bible reading plan, praying for the sick, and choosing kindness in traffic, we connect theology to everyday choices that add and multiply life rather than divide and subtract it.

We also share updates on a new newsletter, an upcoming book at the publisher, and how generosity through the podcast supports children and people in need. The episode closes with a blessing and a reminder: God is for you, interceding, caring, and calling you righteous. If you’re ready to speak what God speaks and act like Jesus in the moments that count, this one will help you take the next faithful step.

Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs a fresh start, and leave a review telling us which promise you’re choosing to speak this week.

A New Season And Purpose

SPEAKER_00

Hello friend, Chaplain Terry Warner here. Welcome to the ChaplainsCorner.net. My podcast today is going to be a new beginning. It will be season 2026 and be episode number nine. I think you're going to enjoy this. So sit back and relax and let's just get on with it. Last year, uh and so some years ago, I keep a daily diary, and at the beginning of the top of the page, I would write watering and caring for seeds I had planted, and the good seeds that I had planted. And that was good seeds that I had planted back in 2025. Well, I noticed this morning that I had changed that writing a little bit. And for giving an example, I have Saturday, February 28th, 2027, watering and carrying and harvesting the good seeds I have planted. And so some seed doesn't come to harvest all at once. And so many times we think we can give X number of dollars to receive X number of dollars. And so we are motivated by money and the dollars rather than motivated by love and faith. And it's love and faith that puts us over. So I'm going to talk a little bit about that this morning. And then also, too, I'm redoing my newsletter, and it's going to be a new newsletter. I'd urge you to sign up for it. I'll put a link on there, and there's a link when you first get up. There's no charge, no cost. You don't have to give anything. If you do want to make a donation, that is great, and we'd appreciate it. But it don't feel like you're obligated or have to, or even uh a move to, or me begging you to. God takes care of us. But he takes care of us through my listeners and my partners. Your foundation scriptures, we're going to start in 2 Corinthians 5, 17 through 21. And I'll be reading amplified. Starting in verse 17. 2 Corinthians 5, verse 17. Therefore, if any person is engrafted in Christ, the Messiah, he is a new creation, a new creature altogether. The old, previous moral and spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come. But all things are from God, who through Jesus Christ reconciled us to himself, received us into favor, brought us into harmony with himself, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation, that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with him also. I added also, it was God personally present in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with himself, not coming up or unholding up against holding against them in their trespasses, but canceling them and committing to us the measure of reconciliation of the restoration to favor. So we are Christ's ambassadors, God making his appeal, as it were, through us. We as Christ's personal representatives beg you for his sake to lay hold of the divine favor now offered you and be reconciled to God. For our sake he made Christ virtually to be sin, who knew no sin, so that in and through him we might become endured with with, viewed as being in, and an example of the righteousness of God, what we ought to be approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him by His goodness. Let me speed that up and get that a little better. He who knew no sin was made to be sin for me, that I might be made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Since I am the righteousness of God in Christ, then God looks at me as being righteous. He doesn't look at me as an old sinner just saved by grace. He doesn't look at me as struggling. He looks at me as complete and in Christ. And he doesn't know that I have a need. Well, he does. But I mean, unless I bring him up and say I have a need. And what does God do? He meets my needs according to his riches and glory by Christ Jesus. The stop and think about this. God the Father was in Christ reconciling the world to himself. Your sins and your misbehavior that would keep you out of the kingdom of God was settled and taken care of over 2,000 years ago. You're just now finding out about it. And you need to act on it. So stop and think about that. God has come down from heaven in the form of Jesus Christ, anointed with the Holy Spirit, and reconciled the world to himself. He sees you as a righteous son or righteous daughter. That's heavy. That's heavy. We ought to act like it, don't act like a jerk. All right, let's see what we I have Philippians 3 13 and 14. And Paul's talking about his getting everything done. Not that I have now attained this deal, ideal, idea, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of grasp and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus the Messiah has and hold of me and made me his own. I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it on my own self, but one thing I do. It is my one aspiration, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. Put that old sin failure out. You know, I said a while ago we were made the righteousness of God. What was born again? Your spirit man was born again. Your spirit man was born again, but your soul, your mind, your will, your emotions, your conscience, your brain, that's being the I won't go with conscience, the brain. Anything flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Let me put it that way. Flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom of God. So forget those things of failure, defeat, lack. Forget that. Speak what God speaks abundance, wholeness, sinless, made righteous. He who knew no stem is made to be sin, so that I may be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Himself bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by his stripes I am healed. Forget the old things, do away with them, and remind God of the new things. Why do we need to remind God? Because you what you say or what you believe is what you say. And when you say the words back to God, you're not doing it because He free he's forgetful and he doesn't remember. You're doing it because that puts you into saying what God says. Say what God says. And then my last one is Isaiah 43 16. Let's see, I hope I didn't pull out the no. This is that that's a good verse that I just quoted. This isn't the better. Put me in remembrance, remind me of your merits. Let us plead and argue together. Set forth your care, your case, that you may be justified and proved right. God is for you, and he doesn't want to try you and put you on trial and send you to jail. He wants to try you and find you acquitted and forgiven and made righteous and whole and wholesome. Think about it. God is for you. His arithmetic, by the way, is add and multiply. The devil's arithmetic is divide and subtract. Alright, I have a newsletter coming out this month, and it's going to have a join link on it. I have a book coming out real soon. It's at the publishers. It needs to be a finally get a final approval and then it'll be on the market. I'll bring that out to you. Some things you need to immediately do. Start your Bible reading plan. Start saying what God says, not what you think or know. Say what God says. Do not say what you have. Jesus said, I come to give you life and that abundantly. The devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy. I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly. John 10 10. Why? Because your words and actions need to be the same as God's words and actions. Let's go around and start acting like Jesus. Lay hands on the sick. Pray for people, be kind, be compassionate. Don't be yelling and screaming at them when they're not driving right. Come on, folks, let's get off of that. Let's don't we don't need to be petty about stuff like that. All donations go to helping children and those in need. Give through my podcast or direct mail. If you are not able to give, that's fine. Then please pray for us. We will pray for you. And if you'll join the prayer list, I'll pray for you several times a day. I pray over my partners every several times a day. And I'm going to increase that this year of 2027. Because I think we're getting down, winding down to the rapture, and I'm getting ready to go. And I want to go in good in good condition. I guess that's a good way to put it. I want to be pleasing to God. And I am pleasing to God. I stay in His Word. I try to live honest and upright, and I try to share my my belief with others. And I don't get mad and cast them out or throw rocks or anything else. I try to stay out of stuff that is not, I cannot steer toward a godly outcome. I'll put it that way. Well, you have a blessed day. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. And you're going out and you're coming in and you're rising up and you're lying down and you're laughter and your tears. God is for you. He's a friend that sticks closer than a brother. He's an intercessor. He pleads for you. He prays for you. He cares for you. Stop and think about it. He gave up his earth, he gave up his heavenly throne and rights and dominions over everything to come down and be a man on this earth. He was God, but he was man too. And be our substitute. And we identify we are sub we identify with him in sin. We're buried with him in baptism. And we identify even more when we are raised righteousness and sinless. You have a blessed day in Jesus' name. Amen.
