Unseen Forces Of Faith

You can’t see faith, but you can see what it does. Chaplain Terry Warner takes that idea and drives it straight into Scripture, showing how the Bible describes “unseen forces” that shape the world we live in and the spiritual life we’re called to live.

We start in Colossians 1 and sit with a powerful truth many believers forget: the Father has already delivered us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of Jesus. From there, we trace the supremacy of Christ across Proverbs 8, John 1, and Hebrews 1, where Jesus is revealed as the visible image of the invisible God and the One who holds all things together. This is practical Bible teaching, not theory: if Christ is preeminent and reconciliation is real, then your identity, your prayer life, and your confidence in God’s promises change.

The conversation then turns to the Holy Spirit and how God works through His word, from creation to Acts to the church today. We talk about spiritual gifts, growing up in Christ, and why faith can’t stay as head knowledge. One of the clearest moments comes through an airplane illustration: you cannot see lift, but lift can overcome gravity. In the same way, God’s word in your heart and in your mouth can overcome what your natural situation says is “impossible.”

Welcome And Foundation Scriptures

Hello, friend. Chaplain Terry Warner here. The title of this podcast is Unseen Forces. It will come out March the 16th, 2026. It's season 2026. It's episode number 11. And like I said, it'll be airing March the 16th. We're going to get right into it today. It's a little lengthy. But I have some surprises for you at the end of the podcast that I think you'll enjoy. Your foundation scriptures will start in Colossians 1, verses 9 through 22. Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion, which is the inheritance of the saints, God's holy people, in the light, Psalm 119 105. The Father has delivered past tense. This was done over 2,000 years ago and drawn us to Himself. And if you can't tell, I'm adding comments. You didn't find God, He found you. You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and I have appointed you, I have planted you. Mark 11 23. I have planted you, that you might grow and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting, that it may remain, abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, as presenting all that I am, he may give it to you. John 15 16 amplified with my comments. Out of the control and the dominion of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through his blood, which means the forgiveness of our sins. Now he is the exact likeness of the unseen God, the visible representation of the invisible. He is the firstborn of all creation. For it was in him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities, all things were created and exist. Are they cohere and are held together? Proverbs eight says Proverbs eight twenty two The Lord formed and brought me wisdom forth at the beginning of his way, before his acts of old. I, wisdom, was inaugurated and ordained from everlasting, from the beginning, before ever the earth existed. John one one in the beginning, before all time was the Word, Christ, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. Amplified. Isaiah nine six says For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his notes turned over him. Matthew twenty eight eighteen, Luke two, verse eleven. When there were no deeps I was brought forth, when there was no fountains laden with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills I was brought forth. That's Job 15, seven and eight. While as yet he had not made the land or the fields or the first of the dust of the earth, when he prepared the heavens, I wisdom was there. When he drew a circle upon the face of the deep, this lays out the fact that the earth was laid out and set up with design and purpose, not by evolution, he assigned pacific physical laws that we cannot see, hear, or touch them to run or ruin and control the universe, and stretched out the firm over it. When he made him when he made firm the skies above, when he established the fountains of the deep, when he gave to the sea its limits, and his decree that the waters should not transgress across boundaries set by his command, when he appointed the foundations of the earth, Job thirty eight, ten and eleven, Psalm 104, 6 through 9, Jeremiah 5.22. Now picking back up in verse 30 in Proverbs, where I'm at, Proverbs 8. Then I, wisdom, was beside him as a master and director of the work, and I was daily his delight, rejoicing before him always. Matthew 3.17, John 1 2, and verse 18. Back to 31 in Proverbs 8. Rejoicing in his inhabited earth and delighting in the sons of men, Psalm 16 3. Now therefore listen to me, O you sons, for blessed, happy, fortunate to be envied are those who keep my ways. That's Psalm 119 1 verse 2. Psalm 119 verses 1 and 2. Psalm 128 verses 1 and 2. And Luke 11, verse 28. Hear instructions and be wise and do not refuse it or neglected. Blessed, happy, fortunate to be envied is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the post of my doors. But he who misses me wrongs and injures himself. All who hate me love court and court death. Proverbs 8 22 through 36 amplify. Jesus Christ has made in me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. You find that in 1 Corinthians 30, verse 30. Now let's jump to Colossians 1, starting in verse 17. And he himself existed before all things, and in him all things consist of, are coherent and held together. Proverbs 8 22 through 31. I know I'm repeating some of this, but some of it's going to take you more than one reading or hearing to get it. He is also the head of his body, of course. The church, seeing he is the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that he alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place, stand first and be preeminent. For it has pleased the Father that all the divine fullness, the sum total of the divine protection, powers, attributes should dwell in him permanently. And God proposed that through, by the service, the intervention of him, the Son, all things should be completely reconciled back to himself. You get that? And God proposed that through Christ all things should be completely reconciled back to himself. Whether on earth or in heaven, and as through him, the Father made peace by means of the blood of his cross. And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from him, and were of hostile attitude of mine in your wicked activities, yet now has Christ, the Messiah, reconciled you to God. This blood sacrifice when Jesus went to the cross, he bore your sins, carried your diseases, and by his stripes you are healed. You have been reconciled to God. God has reconciled himself to you.

Faith Grows By Hearing The Word

In the body of his flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and in irreproachable irreproachable in the his presence, the Father's presence presence. Now, let's take a look at a little further here. In Hebrews 11 or Hebrews 1, in many separate revelations, each of which was set forth a portion of the truth, and in different ways God spoke of our old to our forefather in and by the prophets. But in these last days he has spoken to us in the person of his son, whom he appointed heir and lawful owner of all things. Also, by and through him he created the worlds and the reaches of spaces and the of the ages of time. He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order. He is the sole expression of the glory of God, the light being, the outrain or the radiance of his divine, and he is the perfect imprint and very image of God's nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by his mighty word of power. You realize what I just read? Do you realize that if you're a Christian, giving your heart to Jesus Christ, you've been born again and you are the body of Christ? Taking a place and rank by which he himself became as much superior to the angels as the glorious name or titled, which he has inherited, is different from and more excellent than theirs. God's name. God is higher than the angels. We are the body of Christ. He's the head, we're the body. We are higher than the angels. Everything's been put under our feet. Do you realize that? In the old days when they conquered a king, you'll find this in Judges, uh just before Joshua, where they conquered the kings, they made them lay down and they put their foot on their necks. That made the kings their footstool. When Christ went to the cross, he made the enemy your foot your footstool. It's up to you to grab hold of it. Conceive that. Jump on over a little bit. Now understanding and controlling spiritual laws on this earth. Let's take a look at this a minute. Before we proceed further, we need to see and understand the importance of the Holy Spirit today. Started in the Old Testament, we see an active, active, moving, and powerful Spirit of God molding, forming, and making creation come out of the heart of God and manifesting the things we now see, touch, smell, taste, and hear. The Holy Spirit is the third part of the Trinity and was very active in the forming of the world. He then was seen in the Old Testament, God the Father using Jesus by speaking the word, which activated the Holy Spirit to bring about the action, and causing the word to bring into manifestation whatever it so desired. God then, working through certain prophets and priests, and in several areas through animals, such as Balaam and his donkey. Then in Acts 2.17, listen to this, and it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares that I will pour out my spirit on all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, telling forth the divine counsels, and your young men shall see visions, divinely granted appearances, and your old men shall dream divinely suggested dreams. Yes, and on my men servant, also on my maidservants, also in those days I will pour out my spirit. And they shall prophesy, telling forth the divine counsel, and predicting future events pertaining to God's kingdom. Acts 2, 17 and 18. The church did not need the acts of the Holy Spirit to get going in the first century. The Acts of the Holy Spirit got the church going in the first century, but the acts of the Holy Spirit is still keeping the church going to this present day. And above all, we we need to seek the gifts of prophecy, of healing, of deeper and more knowledge than just being saved. Being saved is the first step once we're in the body of Christ. Once we're in the body of Christ, then we're able to understand and hear the scripture of the Bible. Well, you never know what God's going to do. Yeah, you do. He'll do what his word says he'll do. You never know what God's going to do. Read the next verse. But it has been revealed to us by his Spirit. God's not hiding anything from you. Now let's get over here to creation specifics. In the beginning, God prepared, formed, fashioned, and created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form and empty waste. And darkness was on the face of the great deep. The Spirit of God was moving, hovering, brooding over the face of the earth. What was the Spirit of God waiting on? The spoken word. Do you realize that when Jesus, not when Jesus, when God the Father, through the prophet Isaiah, said that there would be a Savior come out of the seed of Abraham? Come out of the I'm getting tongue-tied here. In Isaiah, it says that Christ was going to be born of a virgin. That was 750 years before it took place. 750 years. Why? Why so long? Because he had to get enough of his word in this earth to be able to come out victorious. Why would you not be victorious if you don't have enough word for one reason? Stop and think about it. If you don't have enough word in you, you can't believe the word. If you don't have enough word in you to believe what God says, you can't bring it to pass, believing and hoping, wishing, hoping, thinking, and praying. All those things, you've got to have faith. Faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the word of God. Faith is now. Faith has corresponding action. And knowing it in your head, reading it every day, reading it and reading it and reading it, but not applying it is not faith. It's head knowledge. It's it's uh human knowledge. And it's not gonna work when you try to do spiritual things with it. Faith cometh hearing and hearing by the word of God. Now, that faith hears, you speak God's word, or the faith in those words, and it gets down in your heart. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Then you start going around saying what God says, you start going around acting like God acts, and you start going around being a Christian, a little Christ, a little anointed one, and you should be doing the works of Christ. He said you do greater works than these.

Now, we don't see, you can't see faith. You can see the result of faith, but faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. If I want to fly an airplane, the airplane weighs more than the the grass, you know, weighs too much to go flying on its own. Even a little bird weighs too much to fly on its own. It's by the unseen laws of God that things function and happen. But anyway, if I get that wing that we designed and created, and I put thrust behind it or power behind it, or speed behind it, and start going down the runway. If I look out there on the airplane, do I see lift? No. It's not there. You can't see it. Is it there? Absolutely. Because when I get up to about 70 or 80 knots, that plane's gonna lift off the ground. When I slow down, it's gonna come down. Hopefully in landing, it's gonna slow down. It's an unseen unseen force, and the law of lift has overtaken the law of gravity. Well, the law of lift in your spiritual life can overtake the law of gravity in your natural life. And it's time we flew. It's time we went to new heights. God created man out of the dust of the earth. He created man out of the dust of the earth. No. He formed man out of the dust. He created him when he breathed his words into his nostrils, and he became a living soul. Right, I went pretty fast and read a lot of scripture and put a lot in under you. And I didn't want I didn't go through all of it. I'll keep on har keep on this for a few days. But I just want to say that thank you so much for coming and sharing your time with me today. They could see it, it was medically verified. They just had a lot of trouble with it. But it directed me, God directed me to get back in the Word and keep asking myself, what does the Bible say? What does the Bible say? Well, I went to the Holy Spirit School first, then I went to Full Gospel Bible Institute out of Pennsylvania. Then I went to the National Association of Ministers Ministers and several other uh documents and credentials and got my minister's license. My uh preacher's license. I didn't need that. The Holy Spirit's a enough license for you to have. Anyway, I uh have a pretty good-sized ministry going through this podcast. I do PowerPoint presentations, I put them on WhatsApp, and they serve India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Africa, and Kenya, and other parts all over the world. And they they and even a college in Pakistan takes them and uses them for teaching. And that is so neat. All of the expenses are footed by me or people who give to me. And that's why I'm asking today. I oh, I have a book coming out here just in a few months. That and all those proceeds and the money and the donations that I receive, and I just receive them a little at a time. If you can give, great. If you can't, great. Get on my mailing list.
