Greeting And Episode Setup
SPEAKER_00Hello, friend, Chapman Terry Warner here. This is Confessing the Word, season 2026, episode number 12. It air on March 23, 2026. The other night I wasn't feeling very well, and I decided that I'd start confessing scriptures. And after about two or three scriptures, I mean not very many at all, I felt really good. I felt really good. So I went ahead and took my Tylenol, laid down and went to sleep, and everything was fine. So I decided that I would go through what I go through, or put you through what I go through. Confessions that I do on a daily basis, I don't do these consciously. I do these when I feel I need them and when I want to concentrate on feeling better and getting on top of things. For those of you that don't realize that, I had uh got sprayed with Age and Orange and Vietnam. I have PTSD. I'm I'm fairly highly disabled. And a lot of times things sets it off and gets me thinking back like I shouldn't be, and I get in a mess. And so consequently, if I catch myself soon enough, I can turn it around with confessions. Sometimes I can't. Sometimes I don't pay attention to my lifestyle enough to do it. And that's not really good. So let me start with a little bit of things and how I what I do to get on top of it. I have a tit entitled that's here, Start Here. Before I forget, we're making some changes to the podcast and my podcasts that I do every week. We're gonna have I have a book coming out pretty soon, and we'll be adding that on there. Plus other little t-shirts, caps, things like that. We try to help the children, the defenseless ones, especially the ones in the womb. They need a fair chance to get out and make it in this world. How many geniuses and doctors and lawyers, I don't know about lawyers, huh? How many geniuses and doctors and inventors have we aborted? All because we fell away from God and got away from moral and ethics. All right, here we go. Only be strong and most vilient and courage, so that you may observe to do according to all the which the law of Moses, my servant, has commanded you. You shall not turn away from it to the right hand or to the left, so that you may be wise wherever you go. Let not this book of Torah, that's the Old Testament, or still the law of God. Let not this book of the Torah depart out of your mouth, but meditate on it day and night, so that you may observe and do according to all that is written therein. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success. Have I not commanded you, saying, Be strong and of a good courage? Do not fear or be discouraged, for I, the Lord your God, will be with you wherever you go. Joshua one, seven through nine. That's the revised Geneva translation. For the Word Jesus is alive and full of power, making it active, operative, energizing and effective. It is sharper than any two edged sword, penetrating to the divine in line of the breath of the life or the soul, and the mortal spirit of joints and marrow, of the deepest parts of our nature, exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and preferred purposes of the heart. Hebrews 4 12 amplified. I got too many things going on. I got my mind's messed up, I just can't memorize all this. Well, that's fine, friend. Read it. Read it out loud. Why do you need to read it out loud? Because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. When you read it out loud long enough, your head will put it in your heart, and out of the abundance of the heart speaks. When you start speaking what Jesus spoke or the Word of God spoke, you'll get healed and get out of your condition and circumstances, and you'll live above the evil in the world. Alright, let me pick up. Words are containers. They carry pictures to your mind. Your mind, in other words, your will, your brain, and your emotions, process these containers that are filled with words and images. You will your will is a marvelous creation, but it is useful to motivate your physical facilities so you can have meaning and direction in your life. The brain, or the mind, is a step up from your will and lets you process the incidents or activities that require mental but not physical attribute. Everything that's permanent and eternal is invisible. Everything you see on the earth is temporal. The emotions work together to compromise the physical and soullish experiences in our lives on this earth. Unfortunately, our emotions are wishy washy and not dependable for sound and directive life issues or directing life issues. However, we are created with words, our containers of information by God, trying to use our physical abilities and knowledge to operate, control, and lead our lives is a disaster. In other words, if if we try to carry it out, we just mess it up. God's got to do it. We were not made to have this knowledge of the tree of good and evil or good and calamity. Why not? Because man is made in the image and likeness of God. We are the body of Christ, but man was not meant he's not all knowing. And you can't handle the knowledge of good and evil if you're not all knowing. I digress. We are spirit, our soul is our mind and our will, desire and our body. Spirit, soul and body. In our present earthly state, we are incapable of controlling anything except a small amount of mental willpower. We are then eternal spirit. We have a soul and we live in a body. So how does God create, control, and maintain sound logical, righteousness, decisions and desires? He uses words. Words. He uses words. What of his word what's the name of his words? His name is Jesus. That's the word. He uses words, not just any word. God uses container filled words filled with faith that goes deep into the spirit of God and transfers his powerful words into the desired result. Therefore the Lord shall give you a sign. Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel, God with us, Isaiah nine, six amplified. For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called wonderful, counselor, mighty God, everlasting Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace, Isaiah nine, six amplified, Isaiah twenty five, one, Isaiah forty verses nine through eleven, Matthew twenty eight, eighteen, Luke two, verse eleven, Jeremiah thirty one twenty two, Micah five, three, four, five. Oh give thanks to the Lord for He is good, for His mercy and loving kindness endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has delivered from the hand of the adversary, and gather them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the Red Sea in the south. Some wandered in the wilderness in a solitary desert tract. They found no city for habitation. Hungry and thirsty they fainted, their lives were near to being extinguished. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses. He led them forth by the straight and right way, that they may go to a city where they could establish their homes. Oh that men would praise and confess to the Lord for his goodness and loving kindness and his wonderful works to the children of men, for he satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with good, some set in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and in irons Luke one hundred seventy nine. Because they had rebelled against the words of God and spurned the counsel of the most high, therefore he bowed down their hearts with hard labor. They stumbled and fell down, and there was none to help. Then they cried to the Lord of their trouble, and he saved them from out of their distresses. He brought them out of the darkness and the shadow of death, and broke apart the bonds that held them. Psalm sixty eight six Acts twelve seven Acts sixteen twenty six. Oh that men would praise and confess to the Lord for his goodness and loving sicknesses and his wonderful work for the children of men. He loves us. He loves us. That's the sickness is a curse of the law. That's the devil getting in there fooling me while I'm writing a podcast. Can you imagine that? Can you imagine the nerve of that idiot? For he has broken the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron apart. Some are made fools, made ill because of the way of their transgression, and are afflicted because of their iniquities. They loathe every kind of food, and they draw near to the gates of death. Then they cry to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivers them out of his distresses. How does he do that? Catch this verse twenty. He sends forth his word Jesus, heals them, and rescues them from the pit and destruction. Also 2 Kings 20, verse 4 and 5, Matthew eight and eight. I'm reading that Psalm 107. Now visualize this. God loves you. John three sixteen. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believed in him should not perish but have eternal life. He that knew no sin was made to be sin, so that I may be made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Well, Brother Terry, there's none righteous, no not one. Oh come on, get off of that. Learn a new verse if you're going to quote me or or refute what I'm trying to say. Learn a new verse. That's not talking about our righteousness. That's talking about God's righteousness. Their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. That's in Isaiah. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against me in judgment thou shalt condemn. Their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. When you were in sin, which is every time before you got Christ, Christ died for you. He paid the price for you two thousand years ago. You're just now finding out about it now. Instead of you providing what God needed, God provided what you needed. Second Peter one three. By means of these he has bestowed on us his precious great promises, so that through them you may escape by flight from the moral decay, the rottenness and the corruption that is in the world because of covetedness, lust and greed, and become sharers or partakers of the divine nature. Jesus Christ paid it all. All to him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain, but he washed it white as snow. Aren't you tired of sitting out in the cold? Come in from the foot of the cross and enter into the throne room of God. It's nice and warm and comfortable. His burden is light, his yoke is easy. And he loves you. Jesus Christ just flat outright loves you. You have a blessed day in Jesus' name. Amen. Friend, you can go to thechaplainscorner.net. The chaplains with an S. The chaplainscorner.net and see my podcast, my blogs, my announcements. Like I said, we're making some changes coming up. Gonna have some different voices besides mine. I I'm not real big on interviewing people because it gets me sidetracked what the Lord wants me to explain, explain to show you. But my I have family members, my stepson and my stepdaughter are gonna jump in on this. My stepson's playing the background, the interlude music, and my stepdaughter will be doing the announcing and announcements and telling you how to get everything. If you want to write me my address and stuff are on the chaplainscorner dot net. Uh you can donate there, and we would appreciate your donations. This costs money. I use it for the ministry and and uh the children. And I and I mean when I say for the ministry, the ministry has yet to not pay something. It comes out of my pocket. I'm not bragging. We could use your help, we could use your donations to spread this gospel to those who need it. You have a blessed day in Jesus' name. And you're going out and you're coming in, and you're lying down, and you're rising up, and you're laughter, and your tears, in your tears and in your laughter, in your joy, and your sorrow, you have a blessed day. And just remember Jesus is the Lord.
