God knows your name, your story, and the secrets you’ve never said out loud and He still calls you His child. That’s where Chaplain Terry Warner starts, before moving into a Scripture-rich “Gift Speech” built to steady your heart and sharpen your daily walk with Jesus. We also share a few updates to The Chaplain’s Corner, including plans for a newsletter and ways we hope to help others, especially the unborn and the poor.
From Romans 5:8–9, we talk about the love of God proved at the cross and the confidence that we’ve been saved from wrath. Then we turn to 1 Thessalonians 5 and the end times: the Lord’s return comes suddenly, but we refuse date-setting. Instead, we focus on what readiness actually looks like, staying awake, staying sober, encouraging one another, and choosing peace. If you’ve been following rapture talk or biblical prophecy and feel anxious, this is a grounded reminder that watchfulness should produce steady faith, not panic.
The second half goes deeper into why Jesus had to come at all. God is spirit, yet redemption required a Redeemer who is fully God and fully man, sinless, present on earth, and able to reconcile us through the Word made flesh. With Philippians 2 and 2 Corinthians 5, we connect Christ’s humility to your identity as a new creation and your calling to live as an ambassador of reconciliation.

But we want encouragers to listener, listeners, to sign up for our mailing list. Nothing to buy, nothing to sell, but we do have soon items you can purchase, and all proceeds will be to helping others, especially the unborn and the poor. We'll take all proceeds and pay that or use that to support the unborn child. I'm writing a book called Something to Think About, Volume 1, and it is a compilation of my articles that I have written over the past three years. There'll be a volume two, plus the Lord has given me several uh ideas for other books as well. So start looking for those. I'll start sending out a newsletter that will have all these opportunities and stuff on. If you can afford to give and help us out, great. But if you can't, great. We want you to write us, tell us your prayer needs. We'll pray for you daily. We'll pray for you several times a day. And we're going to build a little group, not anything big, not anything expansive, but a little group. And we're going to pray for the unborn and get them money and funds. And we'll be ready. And we'll enjoy that. We get to spend eternity in heaven. Isn't that going to be neat? Alright, let's get going on today's article. Our podcast. It's the gift speech. It comes out April the 6th, 2026. It's episode number 14. Your foundation scriptures, it is 1 Thessalonians 5, Galatians 4 and 9. I remember the time, not exactly, but the time of space in my life when I came into the knowledge that God, the creator of the universe, the creation of man, and then by reading and studying his word, Jesus, realized that God actually knew my name, the number of the hairs on my head, my disposition, my name, and every secret about me that only I know about. This is the God who created me in his image, and even though I failed to meet his expectations, still intricately and intimately he still calls me his child. I am loved unconditionally. Thank you, God. Also Romans five eight, but God shows and clearly proves his own love for us, our me, Terry, and it's okay if you add your name in there. By the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ the Messiah, the Messiah, the anointed one, died for us. We also can't just read verse eight in Romans without reading verse nine, at least I can't. Verse nine, therefore, since we are now justified, acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God by Christ's blood, how much more certain is it that we shall be saved by him from the indignation and wrath of God? You've been saved from the indignation and wrath of God. God's not out to get you. God's out to love you. Your love toward me cost you the life of your son, hung on a cruel cross of shame and defeat in every area of not only my life, but everyone and everything that He created. All principalities, power, spirits and beings, and everything else that I can not even think about, Jesus paid it all, period. With that introduction in mind, let's listen to God Himself, using one of His creations, now renamed Paul, expand and define how our life as a Christian should be lived. We'll start in verse one. But as to the suitable times and precise seasons and dates, brethren, you have no necessity for anything being written to you. There was a forged letter being circulated by Paul. There was a forged letter being circulated, claimed to be written by Paul, stating that the end times had already come. For yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the return of the Lord will come as expectedly and suddenly as a thief in the night. When people are saying all is well and secure, and there is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction, ruin and death will come upon them as suddenly as labor pain come upon a woman with child, and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape. But you are not given up to the power of darkness, brethren, for that day to overtake you by surprise like a thief. For you are all sons or daughters of light, and as sons and daughters of the day, we do not belong either to the night or to the darkness. Accordingly, then, let us not sleep as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake, alert, watchful, cautious, and on guard, and let us be sober, calm, collected, and circumspect. For those who sleep sleep at night, and those who are drunk get drunk at night. But we belong to the day. Therefore let us be sober and put on the breastplate, the corset of faith and love for a helmet of salvation. For God has not appointed us to incur his wrath. He did not select us to condemn us, but that we might obtain his salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, who died for us, so that whether we are still alive or are dead, at Christ's appearing, we might live together with Him and share His life. Therefore, encourage, admonish, exhort one another, and edify, strengthen, build up one another, just as you are doing. Now also we beseech you, brethren, get to know those who labor among you, recognize them for what they are, acknowledge and appreciate and respect them all, your leaders who are over you in the Lord, and those who warn and kindly reprove and exhort you, and hold them in very high esteem and intelligent and sympathetic appreciation of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. And we earnestly beseech you, brethren, admonish, warn, and seriously advise those who are out of line, the loafers, the disorderly, and the unruly encourage the timid and faint hearted. Help and give your support to weak souls and be very patient with everybody, always keeping your temper. Always keeping your temper. If some idiot pulls out in front of you on the highway, bless him. Pray that he's get where he is going safely and get him delivered. It's not who is right or who is wrong that is the issue. It's what is right and what is wrong is the issue. That person needs your prayers. If nothing else to get where he's going safely. Don't pray that he get a ticket. Don't pray that he get punished. Pray that he's forgiven and the Holy Spirit can nudge him enough to get him to give his heart to Jesus Christ. See that none of you repays another with evil for evil, but always aim to show kindness and to seek to do good to one another and to everybody. Be happy in your faith, and rejoice and be glad, heartily continually, always. Be unceasing in prayer, praying perseveringly, perseveringly. Thank God in everything, no matter what the circumstances may be. Be thankful and give thanks, for this is the will of God for you, who are in Christ Jesus, the revealer and mediator of that will. It's also a day the Lord has made. This Lord this Lord, this day was made for you. It was made for me. And it wasn't made for me to belittle and put down and make fun of things. It was related to me to make it wholesome and good and kind and tenderhearted. Do not quench, suppress, or subdue the Holy Spirit. Do not spurn the gifts and utterances of the prophets. Do not depreciate the prophetic revelations, nor despise inspired instruction or exhortation of warning. But test and prove all things until you can recognize what is good, to that hold fast. Abstain from evil, shrink from it, and keep aloof from it, in whatever form, whatever kind it may be, and may the God of peace himself sanctify you through and through, separate you from profane things, make you pur pure, make you pure not pur, make you purr pure and holy, consecrated to God. And may your spirit, soul, and body be preserved sound and complete, and found blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ the Messiah. Now some things to think about. God is a spirit. John four twenty-four. God is a spirit, a spiritual being, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth or reality. Why was it necessary for God to send Jesus? Why didn't God just defeat the devil for us and send everything back to like it was in the Garden of Eden?
SPEAKER_01Sorry about that. Thought that looked different. Oh well.
Jesus Chooses Humility
What A Redeemer Must Be
New Creation And Reconciliation
Study These Verses And Close
SPEAKER_00Here we go. Mainly because God wasn't the one who indeed need to be redeemed from the curse. God actually was the redeemer. But because the religion, sin, the nature of evil ruling in and over the world, we were, mankind, in other words, convinced that God had turned against us. This was possible because of man not following God's word and therefore was deceived into believing God. God wanted us punished, starting with Adam and following mankind, the laws of flesh and defeat. If God came back to earth to redeem man, there are some conditions that must be dealt with. If God, the spirit form, came to earth but remained in his spiritual condition, how could we hear him, see him, fellowship with him, and be part of his family? When Adam sinned, he broke the communication link, the communication carrier of God. Words. Brother Adam broke the communication link by disobeying God. It took God having to send a man that was 100% God and 100% man, and because he was 100% God, we call and recognize him as the word made flesh, or in other words, Jesus. Let this same attitude and purpose and humble mind be in you, which was in Christ Jesus. Let him be your example in humility, who also being essentially one with God, and in the form of God, possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God. Did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, but stripped himself of all privilege and rightful dignity. You see, he was in heaven. He stripped himself of all that before he came to earth, so as to assume the guise of a servant, a slave, and that he became like men and was born a human being. And after he appeared in human form, he abased and humbled himself still further, and carried his obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore, because he stooped so low, God has highly exalted him and has freely bestowed on him the name that is above every name. That at that name, the name of Jesus, every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue frankly and openly confessed and acknowledged that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2, 5 through 11, amplified along with my comment. God is a spirit, John 4 24. God is a spirit, a spiritual being, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and truth and in reality. How does God control this kingdom? By words. Hebrews 1 2. But in these last days he has spoken to us in the person of a son, because if he remained in his spiritual state, we would not have been able to hear it. Flesh and blood are not able to understand and comprehend God and his directions for our life on this earth because our spirits that are dead to God cannot bear and hear and understand God because dead men, spiritually or even physically, are unable to respond. So what are the qualifications that must be met that would enable God to redeem the world back into Himself and restore it to former pristine condition? The Redeemer must be God. The Redeemer must be a man, both physically and on this earth. The Redeemer must be totally sinless. In other words, back up. The Redeemer must be a man and he must be here physically and on this earth in a body form. He's got to have a body. The devil doesn't have a body. If the devil tries to do something, ask the devil to show his birth certificate. He does not have one. The Redeemer must be totally sinless. That would mean that the seed that brought Jesus into the world must be God Himself. That is why Mary had to be a virgin. The seed of mankind had to come from God the Father, the Spirit. The Redeemer must be seen and felt on this earth physically, so mankind can have a body to communicate with. Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign. Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son physically, and shall call his name Emmanuel, God with us. Jeremiah 31, verse 32, Micah 5, verses 3 through 5, Matthew 1, 22 and 23, and Isaiah 7 14 amplified. Then the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High overshadow you like a shining cloud, and so the holy, pure, sinless thing, the offspring of God, which shall be born of you, will be called the Son of God. Luke 1, verse 35, amplified. Exodus 4 40, verse 34, Isaiah 7 14. Jesus is the necessary man, that God is 100% God and 100% man and qualifies him to be the Savior of everything. Now, listen to this. Therefore, if any person is engrafted, that's us, the Messiah engrafted in Christ, he is a new creation, a new creation altogether, not fixed up or refurbished, a new creation altogether. The old previous moral and spiritual condition has passed away, the fresh and new has become. But all things are from God, who, through Jesus Christ, reconciled us to Himself, received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation, that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him. It was God personally present in Christ, because it was God in the body of man that gave God the ability and legal right to speak and explain to man his love toward us by using words. Jesus. Jesus is the Word. Jesus being the mediator between God and man, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with himself, and not counting up and holding against men their trespasses, but canceling them and committing to us the message of reconciliation, of the restoration to favor. God's not mad at you. God loves you. So we are in Christ, so we are Christ's ambassadors, God making his appeal, as it were, through us. We as Christ's personal representative beg you for his sake to lay hold of the divine favor now offered you and be reconciled with God. For our sake he made Christ virtually to be sin, who knew no sin, so that in and through him we might become endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of the righteousness of God, what we ought to be approved and acceptable and in the right relationship with Him by His goodness. I'm gonna get in this and put more as we keep going on. This is a deep subject. And take the time and write these verses down. And study them and read them. And we'll start going over confession. Jesus paid it all. You are born again. Not of incorruptible seed. Yes. You were born again of incorruptible seed, not of incorruptible, not of corruptible seed. By the word of God. By the word. Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Holy Spirit, the God, the Father, Emmanuel. His name should be called Wonderful, Counselor, Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Everlasting Father. I'm starting to get emotional here. You have a blessed day in Jesus' name. And we'll see you next week. God bless.
