This week on Milk & Honeys, it's just us girls catching up on life—and somehow we end up discussing everything from birthday reflections and West Hollywood Pride to horror movies, reality TV chaos, and whether aliens are about to make themselves known.
We recap our incredible night at Doughbricks' Scary Movie event, share our thoughts on Spielberg's new alien thriller Disclosure Day, and debate if a real-life "disclosure day" is actually coming. Plus, we're diving into the messiest moments from Married at First Sight and the Summer House reunion, discussing friendship betrayals, relationship red flags, and why some breakups hurt more than romantic ones.
And of course, we couldn't resist talking about the Romy and Michele reboot (especially since those are also Vanessa's cats' names) and giving our thoughts on the Euphoria finale.
Birthdays. Pride. Bravo drama. UFOs. Female friendships. Emotional damage. This episode has it all.
Pour yourself a drink and catch up with us.
Seat Switch And Bald Spot Confessions
SPEAKER_00Well, hey guys. Um, I don't know if you can tell anything that might be a little bit different, but we switched shares today on Milk and Honey. We sure did. I mean, I could be honest about why. Um, and I will. I have a bald spot over here on my right side. I just didn't want the camera to see it.
SPEAKER_01Yes. But you know, if Kayla would have told me that before we left the house. Yeah, she couldn't fix it. I have ColorWow, which isn't just this is not a sponsor, but it could add, but we did. I do have color wow, which if anyone has bald spas, because I have it, I should have put some on my part today, too. So we're all balding. We're all balding. It's the stress of the world.
SPEAKER_00The luxury of getting older. And that's kind of what we're talking about today, guys. Again, welcome back to Milk and Honeys. It's just the two of us today. We've had some pretty great guests so far this season. We've got some coming up in the next couple of weeks. Uh, but since our last catch-up, we both celebrated our birthdays. We survived West Hollywood Pride. We attended a horror movie event, a Dobrik's house of all places. So an early screening of Spielberg's latest alien movie. We watch way too much reality TV. And somehow questioning, which I don't always at all, whether aliens are real or not, but they're obviously real.
SPEAKER_01I mean, we're sitting here, so we're aliens.
SPEAKER_00We are aliens. Proof of life.
Birthday Check In And Aging
SPEAKER_00But first, you know, since we had our birthdays in Pride, how are we feeling? I know you and I are both a little bit, we're moving a little slow right now. We've had nonstop events probably for the last month.
SPEAKER_01We have, but like we also, every time we kind of complain about something, we're always like, oh, we get to go to an event, or oh, we manifested being this busy, and here we are. So we always have to remind ourselves and pinch ourselves that we wanted this life and here we are, you know, getting to live it out together.
SPEAKER_00That's yeah, getting to, not having.
SPEAKER_01Getting to. We get to do this. Yes. But do you do you feel uh any different than than last year?
SPEAKER_00Well, the bald spots definitely are making me feel a little bit different. And to be fair, I don't really have bald spots. It's just because I pull my hair too tight this way. I want to be very clear. I'm not really that bald. I'm not balding. I do have gray gray hairs now. I have a lot of gray hairs. Girl, you do not. I just had Josh cover them, but I definitely have lots of gray hairs. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel that. I wouldn't know if my gray hair is in other places because you know that's bald spots. Those are bald spots. Bald eagle. Bald eagle. No, I think since I started, I mean, this is my 35th birthday, so it's kind of one of those like big birthdays, I guess. I think I definitely have experienced a lot of growth in the last year. 34, I was still in the midst of this uncertainty of where my life and career was going. Relationship was in a different, you know, it was in a relationship, and now I feel like I'm kind of like taking the world by the balls. Yeah. And I feel like between now and the next birthday, I'm gonna have a lot of like successful things to be proud of.
SPEAKER_01I feel good. I turned 37. So I'm very much closer to 40 than I am 30. Um, so that was an interesting feeling. And I feel like I'm kind of still in that little limbo of wanting to add to my repertoire of, you know, hats that I wear as jobs. And so I'm still finding that out. But I am, it's it's funny, not that I am ready to turn 40 and I don't I'm not pushing time to go faster, but I am looking forward to turning 40. I think 40 is gonna bring a lot of really cool shit for like I mean 30s was way better than 20s, I think. Um, but I just know and I've heard that it gets better, and like 40s are so much fun, and I do. I feel like I'm like being in that pocket of who I am and who I am working on to be and the type of woman that I want to be. Um, and so now I just am ready for like the career aspect to feel a little more settled as well.
Fillers, Botox, And Timing It Right
SPEAKER_00I mean, on top of that, you look freaking incredible. I mean, we talk about we're not like you know shitting on anybody who's younger than us, but I think we always joke, especially the millennials. Like, I do feel like there's something about a generation that does kind of keep a youthfulness that some of the younger generation doesn't. I think I think the realistic reason is because they had way too much access to the fillers and Botox before we did. I didn't start putting that stuff into my face until like a few years ago. Right. And that stuff will age you if you're 22. Yes. I mean, hello. We actually need it now because we're we're actually 30s and 40s. Exactly. Exactly.
SPEAKER_01That's a different, and and it is true. It's like if you put too much fill, like obviously, hello, people use filler because when we get older, you know, you kind of lose that the baby face the baby face and all that stuff. Um, so if you are in your 20s and you're doing a lot of filler, you're just adding to your baby fat, is what we used to call it, I guess. I don't know what they call it now, but we called it baby fat. And uh you're just adding more fat, not anything good. So then you look like it's just too much.
SPEAKER_00Stop, put down the needles, guys. Yeah. Until you get to be there, you're gorgeous.
SPEAKER_01I would I would always tell someone to wait till they're 30 to start doing micro changes or micro uh just like anti-aging effects. I I would wait till you're 30. Yeah, I think yeah, I think I was like maybe even like 32 before I had my first Botox. I was 30 when I had my first. Yeah. Um, and it changed my life because I do have migraines. And so like my Botox really did change my life in more ways than just wrinkles.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but also it does help those
Mental Health And Not Giving Up
SPEAKER_00too. Um, what's something you think you've learned about yourself in this past year that maybe surprised you?
SPEAKER_01Um I I think it's how I've always known that our minds are very powerful. Um, but I I think I'm really proud of myself for being honest and open when something feels off, like mentally for me personally, because I do struggle with that. And also I've gotten better at not necessarily letting those negative thoughts like pour in. Even though they're gonna pour in no matter what, but I I'm able to like hold on to them and find them and figure them out and like talk to them and name those negative thoughts and kick them out. And that does come with like my friends and my family. Like, I think I just have a really good amount of people in my life right now that I can come to and say, hey, like I'm feeling this way. I'm struggling. And uh anytime I do talk to someone like that, I it's it makes me proud to be like, oh, I do have people in my life that I can be open with this topic to and they can help. Yeah. Yeah. What about you?
SPEAKER_00I think someone said something to me recently, and I feel like they meant it as like a negative thing. Um, but they said, you just don't give up, do you? Because of like, you know, when I left my job and it's been two years, so figure it out. I think people thought, well, I'd finally have to take a normal job or move back home or whatever. And now, like, my career is like, you know, kind of speeding back up again. And they're like, you just don't give up, too. And I'm like, it feels really nice to hear that, even though maybe it didn't come across, or they were trying to say it in a positive way. Because you know what? I don't. Because there are times that we, you know, this has been a tough couple years for all of us that you want to give up. And maybe I even felt in myself that I had. But hearing that, I'm like, that's right. I do not give up, and I never will keep my eye on the prize until the day I die.
SPEAKER_01So absolutely. You know what? I hope you guys do that too, honestly. But what's one thing that you're bringing into this next chapter?
SPEAKER_00Um, God, I hope lots of money. That's we were told that this is like the year of like money for Geminis and Gemini. So, like, we haven't seen it quite yet. Ready, but we are totally ready whenever you want to come in. We're actually ready.
SPEAKER_01We're already what, six months into the year or more?
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, that's insane.
SPEAKER_01Are we? We're halfway through the year and I would love to see more greenery in my bank account.
SPEAKER_00That wasn't like if like finance gods just like trying to keep us on our toes, but like we're gonna come off our idea. Yeah, I think we're ready. We're we're ready to be more relaxed. Um, do you think birthdays make you I mean, more reflective or to make you want to avoid reflection? I think that's kind of what we were saying. Like sometimes as we get older, I know for me it is it is kind of a weird realization sometimes to think, oh, I am 35 now. I'm no longer like a baby. Like, you know, when you tell people your age and your circle, it's like, oh, you're just a baby. Yeah. No one says that to me anymore. I'm like, oh shit, I'm like actually a full ass adult now. Yeah, I know. Um but I think I I think that also like keeps me accountable. Like you now, I think my goals that I make are way more like, I've got to hit these goals. What is it that I want for my life? We're halfway to 70 years old. Right. You know, like we are moving, rocking and rolling through our you know, adulthood. So I like the reflective aspect of it because it keeps me accountable of the things that I said that I want. I love that. Yeah, no, it it it really does.
SPEAKER_01It's uh, it's uh gosh, life is so interesting. It really is. Put that on and yeah, life is so interesting.
One Year Of Podcast Consistency
SPEAKER_01I can't. Uh, what's been your favorite uh moment this past year?
SPEAKER_00Um, I mean, I think since so this time last year, well, we're we literally are celebrating, we just celebrated a year of our podcast. Yes. I think that was a really cool moment. I think it's also been really nice to see that we've we said this before when we came back after the you know the new season, that we've been so consistent because I've had many friends or people in my life who started podcasts around the same time we did, and they've quit after like three or four months. Right. And I think it's been hard, it's been a lot of work. We have a lot of other things going on, trying to get our schedules together, try to book, you know, it's it's a lot, but the fact we've continuously like stayed on top of it just goes to show like that we do have like a lot of drives and consistency.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely, you know. And it's I I can say the same. I feel like that kind of was my answer too. It's like it's like I I we've started so many things, at least I know I have, with friends, or I've tried to start businesses. If we're, you know, we have so many beautiful, wonderful creatives in our life. And you do try to start businesses with people, and a lot of the time, most of the time, they're not gonna work out, they don't work out, you know. So I think us being able to celebrate a year into doing this consistently, like we said.
SPEAKER_00Well, not also we're not making money on this podcast yet. We're spending money on this podcast. And a lot of times that would discourage people from continuing. We just know you keep it going. We had some great conversations with people at a big agency in town who met us and were instantly enamored by us and want to help us, and that's just kind of how you know people see what you're up to and that you're not, you know, just dicking around.
SPEAKER_01And I and I think, like you said, now it's like that we're a year in. We have uh, you know, this is gonna be episode 49 for us. And so we're almost at 50 episodes, which is such a crazy mark for us. And I, yeah, I'm just proud of us for being able to do it and have different thoughts or different ideas, but be able to talk to each other about them and create uh the relationship, like work relationship, and also like our play relationship, right? It's we have two. So uh I think it's so lovely to have people in your life that when you have to lock in, you lock in, you lock the fuck in. You know what I mean? It's time to work, it's time to work. And then we get to like play after that.
SPEAKER_00Vanessa, put the tequila down. Actually, no, we're good at doing both.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, sometimes I'm telling her to put it down too, okay? It's not just me. I I would like, I know my family's probably like, it is Vanessa, I know it. I'm the one that's always saying baby shots. Do you want a baby shot? Just a baby shot, not a big ol' shot. Like people, people need to stop taking big big old shots, okay? Baby shots, you get to take more at the end of the day, and then you feel like you took more, but you really don't.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's how that's exactly how it works.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh. Okay, so what's something that you're, you know, hoping is completely different this time next year when our birthdays roll out?
SPEAKER_00My bank account.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I have to uh agree with that too.
SPEAKER_00Uh I want a fatter bank account, I want a nicer apartment, I want a nice, I want, I want the nice things. And it's not like being superficial. It's like we've worked so hard for these things. Yes. It's not like, oh, I just want to do no work for it and have it. I want to do the work for it. So that way when I'm having these things, I sit back, like, wow, I did this on my own. I'm so proud of myself. And this is my treat. I deserve this now. And then we can like take nice weekend trips away and do milk and honeys on the roads, and or not, you know, just we're on the road.
SPEAKER_01Milan Honeys on the road sounds fantastic.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but some so somebody else is paying us to do that.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. Exactly. I mean, yeah, I I I couldn't agree more. I think finances are just right now, everyone wants to their finances to be uh not in survival mode, right? Exactly. But you want to live, we want to live, not just survive. I think that's where we're at in our lives and our careers. And I do, like you said, I think that we've worked really hard to be able to have that. Maybe it's not here yet, but I truly do believe that it
Pride Weekend And Birthday Plans
SPEAKER_01will be there. But speaking of surviving, oh God, we survived our birthdays, which was so much fun. We went to Vegas for mine. Yours was right smack dab in the middle of WeHope Pride weekend in Los Angeles. And uh yeah, it was just what a time. How was your birthdayslash pride weekend for you?
SPEAKER_00You know, this year again, coming up in 35. I was like, you know what? I don't want to be here. Living in West Hollywood, pride feels like every every other day. Um, and for the last three out of four prides or two, yeah, two or three out of whatever, it's always around. It's on my birthday. Yep. But my best friends from the East Coast were like, hey, we want to come out and celebrate with you. And so I'm like, you know what? The hell up with it. Let's let's do it like that. So my friends flew in from Boston and Florida, stayed with me, um, got together with all of my friends. My friend uh Kira had a birthday party because I share a birthday with another friend of ours, Bobby. She had a big pool party for all of our friends, and then we went out in the town. And honestly, I'm so glad that that's how I did it. Because I think, I think ultimately I like the idea of like going off by myself somewhere. But in reality, I probably would have been sitting in my hotel, like paluting, like, when my friends would hang out with me. Well, they're the ones who like were asking to hang out with me. Exactly. So I think I actually am someone who needs to be around my people when bringing in a new year.
SPEAKER_01I'd say I was the same. Everyone kept asking me, What do you want to do here at Bertha? And I said, I just want to go to a cabin by myself and and and be with nature. And they were like, Okay, Vanessa, no, but like, what did we do with your birthday? And I decided to do the exact opposite. I went to Vegas. So here we went to Vegas and we literally 48 hours, we just partied it up for 48 hours, and it was so fun. It was fun. Like you said, like we had even for your birthday, I can tell you, you know, everyone that was there and showed up for you was so sweet and kind. And meeting meeting friends that you've known for a very long time, and um, and joining different groups of friends is always uh anxiety driven, even though it never really has to be that. But you know, we're Geminis, we have so many different personalities, and we have so many different like views on life. So we have a lot of different types of people in our life, a lot, a lot of different friend groups, and that's okay. But I always like growing up, I always got really like scared to like bring everyone together.
SPEAKER_00Same like the personality is trash, which it's also a lot of things it is, especially when they're doing it for us. Like we everyone was in Vegas for you, wanted to celebrate you. So if if even if there was some friction, which there wasn't, people would still like make sure they were behaving because they wanted to be there for you, absolutely and same for mine, yes, yes, so yes, it would be do you do you think that pride has changed over the years a lot?
Pride Meaning, Allyship, And Hate Signs
SPEAKER_00Um, well, I think it's taken on a different meaning for me, like personally, you know, because I think I I mean living in West Hollywood, we're so close to so much of the community. Like we have obviously we had Low Colby on our show, you know, last week. A lot of our friends are part of the like the gay community. So I think it's just watching our friends just so happy to feel like they're so like loved and accepted, like this is their world, and being able to kind of sit back and watch the celebration like for them. I think sometimes it got me a little emotional. Just like it's like I I say like it feels like pride every week in Wehoe because it's wehoe, but at the it's not really true. Like that weekend is just especially special. Absolutely, you know? Yes, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I I feel the same way. I think it's it's so lovely, at least for me, to you know, be considered technically an ally in in our queer community. And I am just um, I wouldn't be who I am without my, without that specific community. Yeah, I just wouldn't. I wouldn't be I wouldn't be loved the way that I'm loved by my friends. I wouldn't feel uh safe enough to be my true authentic self. And so yeah, I just I think as I get closer to my friends who are in that community, every year it's more special because you are you do get closer and you realize, you know, I I will never understand what it's like to go through the things that anyone has gone through in in our in our queer community. So I just I respect them so much for sticking by it regardless of the outcome and really sticking to be true to who they are. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And you know, also every every year during Pride, we see the group who wants to come out with their hate signs. Sure. You know, and we all love me and my friends, we all dressed as a different color of the rainbow, and we stood in front of the sign or front in front of those people and took a picture. And like, I can't for the life of me understand why people would come speed their hate in the middle of pride. The the the religion that just preaches love, love, love is literally coming to where our neighborhood, where our people can feel so loved and accepted by their own. What what do you think you're gonna accomplish here? Right. What part of that shows love? And but what is what is really nice to see is it does not impact anybody. No, nobody is like, oh, you're hurting my feelings. It's like little people are walking around, like I literally walked by and it gave me middle fingers.
SPEAKER_01Like, well, yeah, but I I love walking around saying Jesus loves gays. Because you know what?
SPEAKER_00Jesus loves the gays. The Jesus that I that I know does. Yeah. Like, what are we saying here? Like, yeah, I just and so that was just like just watching like people interact with that. Because in my first pride, I was like, oh my god, this is so sad. Like, are you okay? Are you okay? And they're like, girl, we live for this. Yeah, we live to show that we are actually the community of love, not the one who decides to get on their church bus, drive to our neighborhood, and hold up fire brimstone signs that you're going to hell. God, God hates you, repent now. The oxymoron of all of that is seen to me. Like, yeah, get the fuck out of our neighborhood.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. We're not hurting the the only one. We don't go there and be like maybe we should. We're not going to like their neighborhoods and being like just dressing completely naked.
SPEAKER_00That's like you have like, yeah, guys like blowing each other in the back people like we're not doing that.
SPEAKER_01Exactly.
SPEAKER_00Some of my friends probably would. I'm not condoning ever to do that.
Celebrity Sightings And Pride Chaos
SPEAKER_00Okay, wait, so so a funny celebrity settings during Friday. There's celebrities everywhere. My favorite one this week, this time. I was very hungover on my actual birthday. Yes. I think I sent you a picture. I was like, already walking around, we hold my son. Oh, yeah, when you FaceTime me. I FaceTimed Kaylin at 11:15 a.m. She's already covered. Okay. I was like, we're just gonna rock and roll. I'm walking, the streets are kind of finally coming alive, and I hear a song that I recognize. So I'm walking towards the main stage, and I hear, I'm the prettiest girl in America. And it was Megan Stalter from Hacks rehearsing. That like was like my my birthday song. I love it. It just like sets the scene.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you heard it by yourself, which is.
SPEAKER_00I'm literally sitting there, like I was about to like go take a picture, but security wasn't there. I'm like, okay. Um, I could have, I could have easily scooted. It was like, I'm hungover. It's my birthday. Let me get through and just take a picture. Let me take a picture. Um that was probably like my most like little starstruck moment, I think.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I love I actually didn't see anybody this year.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you probably did. Well, you did, but like they were performing.
SPEAKER_01But they were performing just like walking around. No, no, not just walking around this year. I think one year, though, I did see like Paris Hilton was a rat walking around one year, and she's always, you know, the best, like an amazing ally as well. So, but yeah, I didn't see anybody this year, unfortunately. I mean, besides us. Besides, I mean, we are we were the celebrities, you know, we're the celebrities.
SPEAKER_00What's like the craziest thing you saw at Pride?
SPEAKER_01Um honestly, this year, I think the craziest thing I saw was walking into Pride around 4 p.m. And I I get, I guess I have to remember, people are already out there at like 11, right? Like ready to go, watching the parade. And uh some of my friends and I were walking in, and this guy was already like detained and sitting on his butt with like his hands in in zip ties. It's like, what? And I just looked over and I'm like, babe, it's only 4 p.m. How hard did you go? You know, and there's like cops just standing around him. I'm just like, that probably was like the craziest. And then also while we were waiting to get into this all happened within like 15 minutes of each other, too, which is funny. And this other guy is like walking near us with his friend, and I'm like, oh God, he's about to throw up.
SPEAKER_00Oh no.
SPEAKER_01And his friend's trying to carry him. And so I'm like, you guys, so we just like move over a little and uh he didn't throw up, thank God.
SPEAKER_00But like probably had already thrown up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, his friend was like talking to him, and all of us are like, I don't think you should be that close to his face. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00Like, no, what about you? It's a good friend. I mean, probably the same. It was I mean, even earlier than that. When I was walking around at 11 a.m., there were people like there was one girl by herself sitting in the grass, and I could tell she couldn't figure out how to put her shoes on. But I imagine those people probably never went to bed. And they're kind of rolled in. They're rolling into something. I think that I learned from my first pride. Like my first pride, not gonna lie. I I try to roll in like the whole like just no sleep, just keep going for like two or three days. Lots of change. I got sleep. I will say I literally like got sleep every night. I went to bed, I was hydrating, drinking water, eating food. And then it felt great, but I'm also not 25. Exactly. But I was able to like last. And then like on my actual birthday, I left all my friends middle of the day, went back home, ate a burrito, took a nap, and then went back out.
SPEAKER_01Which was crazy.
SPEAKER_00Because I feel like I'm just doing like partying a little bit more responsibly, you know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, you have to if you want to survive, you know, which is why I wasn't out there at 11 a.m. I was out there at like 3:34, and Kayla was asleep taking a nap.
SPEAKER_00I was like, okay, why did you in the morning?
SPEAKER_01And I was if you if you could describe Wii Ho pride in three words, what would you name it?
SPEAKER_00Say loud, proud, and a big ass crowd.
SPEAKER_01Ooh, I love that. Okay. Okay. Nancy Drew over here. Nancy Drew. I mean not Nancy Drew. Nancy Drew. That's not what I bet. I bet wait, what's the rhyming? Wait, the duck that rhymes. The duck that rhymes.
SPEAKER_00Oh, oh, doctors. No, you're talking about You know what I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_01Yes, the nursery rhymes.
SPEAKER_00Nursery rhymes. I know exactly what you're gonna say. Oh let's just go with Dr. Seuss. We're gonna go with Dr. Seuss. Okay, Doctor Seuss. Nancy Drew. I'm like, well, my detective. What are your three words?
SPEAKER_01Um my three words, I think, would be um obviously fun. I know that's so lame, but like fun, chaotic, yes, and gay. Very gay. And I love the gays with all my heart. But it is very gay.
SPEAKER_00That's a very gay. Oh, okay. Well, from a pride, if you have never been to a pride, we highly recommend it. They have them in cities all over, but with Hollywood Pride is extra special because this is this is where it all happens. Yes. So absolutely.
Scary Movie Night At Dobrik’s
SPEAKER_00Okay, well, speaking of chaotic things, uh, in the last few weeks, we've been invited to multiple events, one being a scary movie event at Dobrick's house. Yeah. So Dobrik is a pizza Dobrick guy. He's a young guy who has these big ass parties in his mansion, like up in the hills. Um, I obviously am a huge fan of scary movie. It is out now. It was a pretty surreal event to kind of walk into, like at somebody's house.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you would not have thought that it was somebody's house that they actually live in, you know, because most of the time when you where they do these things, it's mostly like a house that like no one really lives in. They rent it out, you know, da-da-da. This is actually lives there. So it was crazy to see how they transformed everything in the event.
SPEAKER_00You walked in was just a giant, which by the way, if I ever have my own house, I want, I really would love to have ghost face, a big ghost face door. This is not just for Halloween, this is just for Halloween. Every day, every day. And you knock, knock, knock, and you hear, wah! When you ring the doorbell, I think this is what I'm gonna do for my my house one day.
SPEAKER_01Well, if she does have that, we'll know that, you know, scary movie was such a cultural phenomenon, you know, because if it lasts that long, but why do you think that it is such a cultural phenomenon?
SPEAKER_00Well, I think, especially when it first started, I went back and kind of rewatched all of them. I think, you know, people love a good parody. And I think they've done a good job of just like again taking the most popular horror movies and turning them into comedy. And especially, you know, when you had, you know, the the the first the the first one and the actors and actress they had in that, they're still like, you know, still doing it today. I think people just feel like this sense of like it's almost like a like a like a family, you know. And being able to follow something for this many years, especially. Disclaimer as we're sitting here, I still have not seen the latest. Um, I it's I am not hearing the best things about it, but also like, do you expect it to be like a mind-blowing great movie? Because I don't feel like I go in thinking, oh, this is gonna be take take a 90% sword in Rotten Tomatoes. It's just a fun movie to sit back and like laugh at, right?
SPEAKER_01Exactly. Exactly. We'll see.
SPEAKER_00I mean, we'll we're gonna have to go.
SPEAKER_01We have to go see it. Like we really do.
SPEAKER_00Did you have a favorite scary movie of all time?
SPEAKER_01Uh honestly, probably the first one.
SPEAKER_00The first one was like five.
SPEAKER_01I think is obviously like the best one. But not to say that like none of them, I think a lot of them are really good. I'm just saying I think the first one has to be the the best one. Yeah, it was for no for sure. Yeah, it's just the freshest.
SPEAKER_00Now, if we were in a horror movie together, what's a horror movie you don't think you'd survive? She wouldn't survive any of them.
SPEAKER_01Actually, actually, no, I think I would survive a lot of them, which is scary. Ah, that's bold. Yeah, I I jack jack not eat not that word. Don't um I think that I probab no, see, I don't know. I I think I would be become friends with zombies. Um You become friends with zombies. I would become become friends, like they would, I like spiritually, I just feel like they would get me and like they wouldn't. Zombies would get you spiritually. And then and then I think like the robots, I would be able to like, you know, I I think that we would be able to make moves together. So I think I'd join the robots, not necessarily be killed by them. And then the aliens, it's like I'm an alien. So like they're gonna be like, oh my god, our sister. They're gonna be like, what's up?
SPEAKER_00The aliens tell me, what's up? Oh my well, you know what? I love your confidence and your survival skills against zombies, robots, and aliens. Yeah. I'm gonna be straight up, I don't think I would survive. Like, I saw a shadow in my door frame once, and like my heart stopped. I'm like, that whole like that notion of like uh fight or flight, like I or freeze, I froze. So I'm like, I don't think I would be able to survive.
SPEAKER_01See, I've been in sit certain situations in my life where I thought maybe I would freeze, um, and I didn't. I actually was the one that was like taking reins and either getting us out of a situation or yeah, just getting us out of that situation. So that's why I think that like in a situation like that, I actually would pull it together and be like, all right, guys, this is the plan.
SPEAKER_00Well, I love that. I'll follow your level. We're befriending all this is on you. We're befriending all of the enemies.
Spielberg, Disclosure, And Alien Theories
SPEAKER_00Well, speaking of aliens, we wouldn't saw Spielberg's alien movie. It's coming out this weekend. By the time this airs, it's just came out. Uh, disclosure day. Holy cow. When I was told this is gonna be a two and a half hour movie, I told Vanessa, I'm like, there's a chance I'm gonna want to get up after 90 minutes. That's a long ass movie. I say. But it's Spielberg, so I'm like, let's give it a chance. By the end of the movie, we were like, no, we want more.
SPEAKER_01I, I'm sure you saw me at one point. I was editing. I was like sitting up and my my hand was like on my hand was under my chin, and I'm just staring at the screen because I I just I know something is about to happen. It's just, oh, it was so good.
SPEAKER_00It was really well done. So good but start to finish. And you know, we've all been talking about. I mean, if there's anyone who was gonna make this movie, it had to be Spielberg. Absolutely. And I feel like he probably knows a lot more about what's happening in the world than most. Um, and we've all, I mean, for years now, we've been talking, I mean, for decades, we've been talking about aliens. Are they, aren't they? And then lately, we've, you know, a lot more stuff has been coming out. I like doom scroll late at night, just like reading everything and watching everything. And I think this is probably pretty accurate as to what we're going to experience. There has to be a disclosure. There's no chance in hell there there's no life on other planets. And there's no, there's no chance in hell that our government is not concealing this information. And there's also no chance in hell that we are don't we don't have them hidden somewhere on our planet. Or just here out in the open.
SPEAKER_01You're out in the open, yeah, for sure. You know, I mean, I go back to men in black. I don't think they were lying, you guys. Like, they're probably out here working in tech. Hello?
SPEAKER_00I mean, I mean, it's there. Like, some of them, like, yeah, like why, like, why are these people like so intelligent? Smart. I mean, I know we're not the smartest, but like, but on one, like, why do you think audiences are maybe even more, you know, attracted and fascinated by alien stories right now?
SPEAKER_01I think because there has been a lot of talk, and look, at the end of the day, we don't know if the government is actually being truthful and showing us these aliens or showing us little bits and pieces of what's actually going on. But behind all of that, no matter what's truth or or true or false, I know that there's truth behind some of it. So I do know that there is probably a compound somewhere where they're they either have live uh life or they have, you know, aliens who have passed on and they're doing research on them.
SPEAKER_00So I just Oh yeah, what's that area 50 area 51, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, I don't think that they're there because like they probably think that we think that they're there. So we're not, you know, they're like, oh, these idiots, they think that all the aliens are Area 51. No.
SPEAKER_00If people try to storm Area 51, but what if like what if like we're watching TV and all of a sudden they'll, you know, the announcement pops up and they're like, hey, uh it's official, aliens have now, you know, arrived. Would you be like how like how would you feel? Oh, that's racks. Are you are you gonna be shocked? Like, I wonder like what your initial feeling is gonna be.
SPEAKER_01Well, my initial feeling is like I I don't believe media a lot of times. So like I think for sh for in the beginning, I would probably say to myself, I probably react first, because like, you know, of course we're human. So like I would react and be like, I knew it. Exactly. That's the first thing I would say. I knew it. And then I'd probably call everyone, Kayla, Ozzy, my mom, my sister, all of our friends, and be like, you guys, are you watching? Can we adopt one? Yes. And then foreign exchange program. Yes. We teach them like English and all.
SPEAKER_00That'd be great, like walking through LA. I wouldn't know.
SPEAKER_01How to use the auto, the auto, the little robots that deliver food and teach them how to do it. The first thing I would do is want to get an alien stoned, and I would want to give them a shot of tequila. That'd be great. Don Julio Repo.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, they would take them to the club and just like I think they can fucking dance.
SPEAKER_01I'd be like, girl, you could get on my shoulders. I got you. You're like, we're we're going to Wiho, you're gonna have the best time ever. They would love it. Like, no, no probing here. What do you think the aliens though? Like, obviously, us taking them to Wii Ho and stuff. What do you think they'd be most confused about if they came to LA?
SPEAKER_00Came to LA. Oh my god, so much. So much. Probably first, like trying to learn our language and like trying to take on the Valley Girl accent or something. I don't know. I mean, I think the little robots that run around delivering food would probably confuse them a little bit. But maybe not.
SPEAKER_01Maybe that'd be like or maybe they know how to talk to each other, like maybe they have some technology. You know what I mean? Yeah. Obviously, you have to go see disclosure.
SPEAKER_00Oh, and Emily Blunt. I will say she's done a lot of great shit in her day. I think this, I'm saying it now, this is the role of her life. She is this is the best role I've ever seen her in.
SPEAKER_01Everyone was fantastic, phenomenal, but the way that she carried this film, it was just so incredible. I mean, the amount of macro shots, and if you don't know what I'm talking about, macro, just meaning very, very close up. So the whole screen, like, think about this. The whole screen in the theater is just her face, just from here. Like, just not even a headshot, just her face. And her not even having to talk. And you know exactly what she's thinking, you know exactly what's going on in her mind. Her eyes are saying it all. It's just, it's actually perfection for an actor. It's just it's she just oh my god.
SPEAKER_00She was able to like, you know, combine like this. The humor, but it was such smart humor. It wasn't like she was trying to be funny. No, like, but I think altogether, I mean, and then having Spielberg as, you know, like there couldn't have been like a better it was a genius film. Definitely go see it.
SPEAKER_01Genius.
SPEAKER_00Um, okay, would you rather meet an alien or a ghost?
Ghosts, Alien Stories, And A Weird Night
SPEAKER_01Um well, I've met both, but I do think that I want to have an actual legit convo with an alien. Oh, ghosts, I'm girl. You know how many deaths I've had in my life? Like we've met an alien? Um, yes. I always tell people when I was younger, I wouldn't sleep in my bedroom because I was too scared. So I don't know why. Trauma. And my parents put a cot in their bedroom. Until I was like 11, I slept in their bed, in their in their room. And I remember one night getting up, and I swear to you, I remember getting up and walking to the window for some reason and just like staring out. And we had a pool or we have a pool at my mom's house, and staring out, and I will tell you, I'll never forget, there was, I swear to you, an alien outside, and his hand or he or they, it, whatever, their hand just like kind of went up, and I just went like this, and like we like waved to each other. I swear to you, I know this sounds crazy, but my mom knows this story too. I like I've never forgotten it. And and I that's why I don't think I'm like terrified of aliens coming because I didn't even as I don't know how old I was, like maybe six or seven. Don't do it, you know? Don't do it. Nope. Um that's for the genetic. Um, I don't remember how old I was, but I remember it not being scared of it.
SPEAKER_00I wasn't scared, it was very they it was very kind and well, it's kind of like not to give up way too much of the movie, and that's kind of I think what they were kind of conveying in the world. Sure, they aren't here to hurt us. If anything, we're the probably species that are hurting.
SPEAKER_01Probably hurting them and trying to like figure out their life and their environment to take over.
SPEAKER_00Well, there is a rumor though that um that the aliens are going to show up at a big sporting event happening in Miami, which we are right in the midst of that with World Cup. And they're going to um take 300 people. This is a rumor that's happening on the internet that they're about to beam up, take 300 humans, and start. I don't know, we'll see. So do we need to go to Miami? I don't want to be I don't want to be the first. Well, I want to be, I wanna be beamed up. What if they like, you know, let us come back? I want to be special. I don't want to be one of 300. Like it's come find me.
SPEAKER_01Like, but one of 300 in the world? We'll see what happens. It's pretty special.
SPEAKER_00We'll see what happens.
SPEAKER_01This is pretty special.
SPEAKER_00Um I will say last night I told her I think I was visited by something last night. I'm not sure if it was a demon, a ghost, or an alien. But the weirdest shit happened to me last night. I was fast asleep, lights out. I always, I always cut out all my lights. And then I woke up thinking it was daytime and my lights were all on. Doors were still locked, and I had this feeling of dread and like horror. And all night I was having these terrible, like scary dreams. So there could have been a demon, but it could have maybe I was visited by something last night. Because I still took it, as I'm saying this to you right now, I'm getting goosebumps because I can't explain what happened last night.
SPEAKER_01Well, yes, because Kayla also explained that her remote for those lights were in her drawer.
SPEAKER_00You can only turn them on by using the remote, and their remote was locked in my drawer.
SPEAKER_01So, well, not locked, but closed in the drawer. Could you imagine? Because it's like, yeah, my side table, there's a lock in there, honey. I don't want anyone to know what's going on.
SPEAKER_00No looks in there. There's a lot of different kinds of remotes in there. But I don't know. TVD. We'll see if I make the next episode. Okay, moving on. Yes. Uh obviously the uh conversation about aliens can be confusing, but here's something else
Married At First Sight Trainwreck
SPEAKER_00confusing. Vanessa and I have been watching Married at First Sight.
SPEAKER_01We have. And this season was a complete disaster. I've never watched this show, by the way. Kayla was like, you should just watch it. Oh no, actually, I think we just we started it together. We were on the couch, just vegging out one night, and she we were like, well, it's funny. I was like, let's watch Dateline. She goes, maybe let's watch something. Oh no, I said, let's catch up on euphoria. Oh, yeah. And you were like, let's watch something like more lighthearted. Yes. I watch Dateline when I go to bed, so that says a lot. Um, anyway, if you do watch it and you'll realize how wrong the experts got it this season.
SPEAKER_00It was bad. Like I've I've watched other seasons.
SPEAKER_01It was so bad.
SPEAKER_00Every what one couple made it at the end?
SPEAKER_01One couple, but we should like look them up. We're gonna look them up and see if they actually did or if they're still together.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because you know, so yeah, it was like so. Uh if you don't know the show, it's basically uh these experts, um, therapists, uh, look for people uh, because there's people who want to get married so desperately. I never understand how people go on shows like this. So ultimately they find people they think is a match, and the couples meet for the first time at the altar. Then they go through this whole experiment. They're married, but they can get an old like in another 90 days, I think, is you can get an old for something. And so you get to follow their relationship from like the early stages to the bedroom to the honeymoon and then beyond. And I have never like had so much secondhand embarrassment watching these couples who ultimately hate each other.
SPEAKER_01Yes, like they did a terrible job matching these. I mean, look, I I will back up for a second and say, like, I do understand why some people would do this. They're obviously putting their lives in the hands of experts, um, but also let's say that loosely. So they're putting their hands in in these experts to pick a partner for them. But I do understand that I got I get it. Some sometimes it's you're working a lot. The apps aren't working. If you're not going out to bars or like meeting people, like where are you meeting these people? You know, I I understand that. I mean, I know that I'm in a relationship right now, but like if I wasn't, yeah, like when we're married at first sight, though.
SPEAKER_00I know, married at first sight, love is line that maybe we're more like understandable, but like the we meet at the altar and now we're married for the first time after, like, I just don't understand that.
SPEAKER_01I don't either, but obviously, like I mean, people get it. Obviously, it makes a good show because this is like season 25.
SPEAKER_00Even arranged marriages, people meet before they get to the altar, right? Right, right.
SPEAKER_01At least a FaceTime, like something, like but then that would defeat the whole show, so they couldn't do that. Like, it's a show, you guys. I mean, I guess it's an experiment, and these people are going on here to do an experiment, and all of them um failed, but there was the best, the the the worst one. The the yeah, the biggest villain.
SPEAKER_00Well, obviously it was David, yes, yeah, like David and wait, what was um her name?
SPEAKER_01I forget what her name was. She was the blonde. Well, they're both they're both blondes.
SPEAKER_00David obviously lives in his parents' basement, which uh first and foremost, the expert should never do that. That's like really shitty that you would like put somebody that's in that situation to where you have to be okay with a 40-year-old man, your husband living with his parents. Like, I would feel the same way. I'd be like, no, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_01Even though, you know, in the beginning he's like, Well, I'm choosing, I'm choosing to live in my parents' basement. I don't have to, I'm choosing. But again, I don't know. That was just like, but he definitely was the biggest villain of the show. But so was that girl, the the girl. So, long story short, uh, David ends up uh having another relationship with somebody else's wife. In the same experiment, in the same experiment. They all go on their honeymoon kind of together in the same space, and then they all they're all from Chicago. So that's why they do it in different cities, right? They do it in different states and stuff, so that you make sure you're marrying someone who you don't have to like up and move your whole lifestyle somewhere else. So they're all from Chicago.
SPEAKER_00Um, and yeah, David just and in the beginning of the season, we were feeling bad for him because his wife was like so turned off by him, didn't want anything to do with it. So mean. And we're like, oh, I feel so bad. He's gonna get such a good, like, all these opportunities after because he's trying his best to only find out that the entire time he was smacking on this other girl, he sent a text. We all have accidentally sent a text that was meant for somebody else and try to backtrack. Absolutely. He sent a text to the girl that wasn't his wife that said, You look so good, I can't wait to eat it up, or something like that. And he accidentally sent it to his wife. And she's she's like, What was this about immediately? Oh, my cousin sent me a picture a picture of some food. So we finish it. I can call it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she he said, Oh, my cousin sent me a picture of some food. So I was just telling her how good it looked. And everyone who's watching this, behind me and Kayla both, like, for sure, but I'm sure everyone else watching that, our faces were like, bruh. What?
SPEAKER_00Who says that when you send me a photo of some food? Oh, it looks so yummy. I can't wait to eat that. Or I can't wait for that. I can't wait to eat you up. I could eat you up. Yeah, I talk to my food like that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and he's like, Yeah, me and my cousin, we just like we have that kind of relationship. I'm like, well, if you have a relationship like that with your cousin, uh, your female cousin, then you guys need therapy. And you need to tell somebody, you need to talk to somebody about this right now because this is not okay. It's not okay. Yeah, and then he and then he made another lie and said it was this girl named Tiffany.
SPEAKER_00Got caught, and then there was no Tiffany.
SPEAKER_01There was no Tiffany, it was it was the girl from the show.
SPEAKER_00Like, I don't know what I would do. I think what they should have done, probably what his wife should have done. I don't know what the rules are. Like, if you decide you don't want to be in your marriage, if you are contractually obligated to make it to a certain point, right? But she should have just like, hey, I don't want to do this experiment experiment anymore. I've got to walk away. Cause she could have done that, I think. Instead, it's like, okay, so why did you stay as well? Like, there was no completely right thing in this situation.
SPEAKER_01Right, right.
SPEAKER_00Um, but yeah.
SPEAKER_01But but what which there's so much to learn from this episode. But like don't go on that show. Don't yeah, just don't go on the show. But um, who do you think out of the couples learned the most?
SPEAKER_00Well, I think the God, I should have written down their names. I'm just like the guy. Who was cheated on the blonde guy who now has a whole a fiance or whatever? He was a very he was very sweet. And I think he probably learned like to maybe have more self-worth. You know, because like you don't want to be begging someone to like you. Like that's one thing I know. If you if you're not into me at like the way I'm into you, then I'm gonna walk away because that's just embarrassing. Yes. And I think a lot of them had to learn that. Like, yeah, don't force.
SPEAKER_01I know it's a different situation, but like he was fully in it and would tell her comments as oh, well, if this is what you want, like I want to make my wife happy, so I I want to do better. And it was superficial things, it was about the way he dressed. Yeah, like emotionally.
SPEAKER_00She goes, I'm not attracted to you. I'm the way that you dress. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And it was just but then he changed everything about himself to appease the woman who's just stepping out on him anyway. Who's literally cheating on him with somebody else in the group who lives in his mom's space?
SPEAKER_00Right. And I'm like, what make it make sense?
SPEAKER_01It doesn't, but you know what? It made sense for them. Hopefully they're happily together still. As far as a reunion goes, they're still together. But I don't see that. I always say, look, if something like that happens, if someone cheats on somebody and they're they end up being with that person for the rest of their lives and they have a beautiful family and da da da, then obviously that person was never meant for you. So I always try to say, okay, that's that's that there's a silver lining to the uh you know disheartening choices that these people made. So I really do hope they do stay together because like we're looking at you guys, literally.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so we're already almost an hour in. Let's say let's
Summer House And Friendship Betrayal
SPEAKER_00push. Okay, okay, real quick, we're just gonna hit on Summer House. If anyone who watches Summerhouse, I know you've only watched the reunions. I don't want to really dive into like the summer house of it all, but like clearly there's been 10 years of this show. You have Kyle, Amanda who've been married, then you have Wes and Sierra who are dating, and now Wes and Amanda behind their backs and behind their backs. It's a whole, it's still a mess to this day. But I think it's really interesting to think about friendships in this regard. Um, it was very clear with Sierra that she was more hurt by Amanda's betrayal than by or like it was it was oh sorry, it was more hurtful for Sierra. She was more upset by Amanda than by West. Yeah, that was her friend. Right.
SPEAKER_01Well, obviously, Wes and her were not working out. It's just like that, that's the thing. Like the betrayal of your friend sitting there listening to all the things that you're telling her. You're holding, you're you're literally this friend is holding you up, keeping you up, keeping you afloat, keeping you in good spirits, and then you find out that this friend of yours that you were telling everything to is literally having a relationship with your ex fiance? Or no, were they just together? Oh boyfriend.
SPEAKER_00But while Amanda was still married to her as well. Exactly. So it's like watching the reunion back, it breaks my heart for Sierra. But I think so many good things are gonna come to her after this. Wes is already like, I almost sent you this meme because it was uh from did you ever watch The Office? And so Ryan and uh uh Kelly Kapoor, and there's an episode of Ryan's on a horse. He's like, Kelly, I love you, but I can't promise that I'll be in love with you forever. I can't promise I want to marry and have kids. It's literally how Wes is talking to Amanda. Like, I can't promise that I love you, but here I am blowing up your entire life. But it goes back to the friendship. Like, why do you think a breakup with a friendship hurts so much deeper oftentimes than like with a romantic relationship?
SPEAKER_01I think it hurts more because with a friendship, you're always gonna feel a little bit less of that. Well, obviously, a friendship, you're never having that romantic layer, right? So I feel like with a boyfriend, a husband, a fiance, a partner, whatever, you're always gonna have that romantic uh pull that holds you guys together. And so no matter what, if you ever have a relationship or romantic relationship with somebody or anybody, like physically, mentally, emotionally, whatever, that's always gonna be there. But with a friendship, it's like you have all of that with a sexual relationship, but without the sex. And so it's like it's it's just like, you know, if I obviously I'd be devastated if my man did that to me. But like if I had found out that it was with my friend, like you, I would, I would be way more devastated because I do think that like relationships sometimes, like somebody does that, right? Like somebody will cheat, somebody will be dishonest, somebody will do that. But a friendship, there's no, there shouldn't be any reason for you to feel that way. You know, but you're still telling them all the things, you're still opening up, and you just don't have that like physical connection with them.
SPEAKER_00And sometimes that is way more. I think when my best friend Dylan was in town, he's like, it's so funny to look at you, he goes, I've never looked at you sexually at all. He goes, but I'm in love with you. Yeah, you have it. You fall in love with your friends, of course, more so in the you know, than a romantic partner. Of course. Of course, it is really devastating. Sierra, girl, we got you. Yeah, your star is only gonna rise. A man and West kick rocks.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, kick rocks. It's just, you know, I mean, yeah, I don't like wish anything bad on anybody, but that was pretty intense. That was I do. Kayla's like, I do. I do.
SPEAKER_00What else?
SPEAKER_01I wish it.
SPEAKER_00Um, okay, we have two more things to talk about.
Romy And Michele Sequel Hype
SPEAKER_00Uh, this is more for you. Yes. Romy and Michelle. We're getting a sequel. Her cats are also named Romy and Michelle. That just shows how much of a fan she is of the franchise. Uh, I know you're feeling some kind of way. Take it away. I am so excited.
SPEAKER_01I I look at the end of the day, do I think it's gonna be the same as the first? No. But do I love these two actors with the pit and of my soul because that's how fucking funny they are together and their chemistry together as actors are just incredible. I cannot wait to see them on my screen again together. I mean, I mean, just like watching the comeback, yeah, and and and knowing that, you know, what's I can't remember her name. She just blinked. Anyway, I could go take that part out. I haven't watched.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yes, Lisa Coudre. Yeah, Lisa Coudre. Yeah, I could not think of her name for a second. Um, just like knowing that, like, you know, actually, like honestly, like Lisa Coudreau still has it. So I already know that things are gonna come and she's gonna make sure it's not cheesy or anything like that. And so I'm just so I'm so excited. I'm actually mad that I didn't get an audition for it. I wish I was in the movie. Um, even if I was just like in a bakery.
SPEAKER_00Is it too late?
SPEAKER_01Have they already have they I mean I'm pretty sure it's I'm pretty sure they've already passed everything. I'm pretty sure they've already like filmed it.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you they've already filmed it.
SPEAKER_01I think so because they they announced this a while ago. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I'm just now seeing the announcement. Yeah, okay. It's all right.
SPEAKER_01This is they announced it a while ago, but maybe they are either in the middle of filming or maybe they just finished.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm like just gonna put me in the bank. Let's bring Romy Michelle to them.
SPEAKER_01And like just like I'm gonna I should write them and say, hey, my cats are named after you. You should let them be in it. That'd be cute. And I have me and my friend Kayla, and we can hold them together.
SPEAKER_00This is hold them in the background. Let's like symbolo them. Uh, why do you think that, you know? I mean, this is going back to what we were talking about. Like the story of female friendships resonates so much, especially in the world that we're seeing now with a lot of breakups in female friendships. So maybe this is coming around like a really good time in society, and yeah, obviously the way the culture is.
SPEAKER_01It's you know, I just think it's proof that it doesn't matter how much time has gone by, you can still reconnect and create that magic, the same magic that you had once before. And I say that all the time, but I'm sure you can feel the same. It's like, you know, even with you and Dylan, like you, you know, we I don't see all of my really good friends all the time. But when I do see them, it's we pick up right where we left off and nothing changes. It's crazy. It really does feel that way. And I think that's what it's gonna be like for them. I'm sure there's gonna be a ton of people who were in the first movie who are gonna come back. It's I think if I'm recalling this correctly, it's going to be how Adam Sandler does his film. Okay. Where there's there's like five to ten people that are always in it, even if it's like, you know, you can do it. Like, you know, like in every single film, there will be one person, and I do, I just I have a feeling there's gonna be so many cameos from people in the first film, and it's just gonna be incredible.
SPEAKER_00It'll be interesting to see like who like from now they pop into like the like the Alex Earls potentially like influencers. So, what do you think, Romy Michelle, like will be doing in 2026? Influencers, having a podcast, selling unnecessary wellness products, like I wonder what they're gonna be doing.
SPEAKER_01Well, when they finished the last movie, they were they had a storefront, they had their own store. So I think that they would be kind of like a Mary K Nashley. They would be they would have their own, you know, entity.
SPEAKER_00But how many years ago was that? Now my gosh, they're gonna have like it probably won't be a storefront. No, but I just mean like now, like why they have like a TikTok shop. I'm just curious, like just like Sydney Sweeney was an OnlyFans model, and Euphoria, like how's this gonna like change?
SPEAKER_01I I think they would be on lives 24 hours of the day talking about their products that they're selling. Okay, that'd be funny, actually. That's what they would be doing.
SPEAKER_00I I thought they'll have a podcast too. Yes. Oh, for sure.
SPEAKER_01For sure. They would have a podcast about how they, you know, the first topic would be how they went to their high school reunion and pretended they created post-its, you know? And it's just like amazing, fantastic. Back then it was so cool too, because you couldn't like Google it right away because no one had phones. Right now, we're gonna handle it. We invented um the color green. Yep. And then they would look it up right there and be like, no, you didn't. But back then it was just so cool to put it together.
SPEAKER_00Uh we were gonna talk Euphoria, but we'll save that for another episode.
Listener Topics, Aliens, And Goodbye
SPEAKER_00We're just ending because we might have a special guest coming on soon who has a lot to do with Euphoria because a little teaser there. Uh, but we have covered birthdays, pride, horror movies, aliens, reality TV disasters, friendship drama, and Romy and Michelle. We packed a lot into this episode, but it was a good one.
SPEAKER_01It really was. And honestly, it really does just sound like a month in our lives anyway. So this is uh nothing new for us.
SPEAKER_00But thanks as always for hanging out with us. We love having y'all here every week on Milk and Honeys. Again, this is season two, it's crazy, and yeah, we've got a lot of really fun plans. Episode 49.
SPEAKER_01Make sure you guys subscribe, leave us a review, let us know what you think about our topics, give us topics if you'd like, because we always love like knowing what people want us to talk about.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. Um, but yeah, talk about the aliens, disclosure day if you think it's gonna happen. If so, we will do a special when the aliens land, we'll do an emergency episode on milk and honeys. Absolutely like how to prepare for the aliens. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01So get your tequila, uh, what's Hollywood be ready. And the first thing that we would do if the aliens did come down is that we would definitely tell them about milk and honeys, we'd hand them a cup of tea and just be ready to spill with us every single week. And we'd probably have a third, and it'll be an alien. And maybe we'll like do the episode from space. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Never know. Who knows? But on that note, we'll see you guys next time.
SPEAKER_01Bye bye.
