Trust After Trauma -Episode #11- "Breaking Free: Overcoming the Trap of Feeling "Not enough" or "Too Much”- Lawrence C Harris
Lawrence Harris, a 19-year-old Youth Empowerment speaker who supports teens and young adults in building self-love, resilience, and a positive outlook on life. Drawing from my own experience facing childhood abuse, Autism, and C-PTSD, I have dedicated the last four years of my life to supporting others in need. I am reaching out because I believe I can bring unique value to your podcast, as someone who has both personal experience with trauma, healed it, and can share what I found to be most effective for other young people I've helped.
We will discuss various ways in which we give our power away to others and their opinions of us. Looking at the ways we have adopted others' beliefs as our own and how to stand in our knowing of who we are to move forward. Lawrence shares the importance of journaling as a dynamic method to get to know yourself and separate your “feelings” from who you are.
