Yo, you know why you're here already. It's your favorite baby in the week. And guess what? We're in the brand new studio. And you know the show about ordinary people who have done extraordinary things. And there's always working asking. Please just hit the subscribe button, baby. Go ahead and click the subscribe. It's free. Show us some love. Because the gentle gentleman is in the house. What's up, Lukwam? What's up, everyone? So I'm gonna have the gentle gentleman, not the basketball star. What you're getting there, what you're getting there, but uh a little bit about the gentle gentleman. He has a practice that does so much for everybody's body. And what I mean by that is we've been hearing all this noise about peptides. We've been hearing all this noise about how do we live longer and what are the things we can do. And Laquan is here to talk all about that. So we appreciate having being being here, man. I'm happy to be here and in the new studio. You like the not bad, right? First one, we're gonna, you know, I'm sure we'll have a few kinks here and there, but you know, well, I'm liking the vibe. I'm liking the vibe. Me too. And you fit the vibe. Look at you, always dressed to the hilt, man.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, every once in a while I gotta come out the scrubs and wear a little something.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So let's talk about the general giant business. First of all, what made you go into the practice that you went into?

SPEAKER_00

So when I first started, uh, a lot of people don't know this, but I was an athlete back in the day. Uh, played football and and uh did well at that. And I always wanted to be in healthcare. I was ER nurse trained and then became an MP a couple years later. It's almost been 10 years since I've been a nurse practitioner, but I've always been into uh natural medicine. And I thought I wanted to do orthopedics because I wanted to be around sports, but I didn't like orthopedics because I just saw so many people being prescribed pain pills and people becoming addicts. I was like, I don't want to do that kind of medicine. I want to do something uh where people can actually get better and promote healing the right way, like learn how to take care of yourself because pretty much pain pills and cortisone sauce is just a band-aid. What are you gonna actually learn, right? And so I came and started my practice. We started doing PRP stem cell injections. When I first started, I didn't know what it was, but I got to witness what it does. And it was just crazy to see that people using this type of medicine felt better than having surgery. It was insane to me. So I became way more and more addicted to that, and we started doing peptides and seeing patients just become so much healthier. And it's just and it was crazy. It's what what I learned in school, it was like threw it all out the window. What was I in school for? Because I didn't learn any of this in school and I learned it outside of school. So I wanted to develop a practice where it's a one-stop shop for all things health, beauty. Things, you know, I go dive deep into getting answers that patients may not get. I even get some of the hardest patients, you know, with like autism and dementia and pain and all these other things. And I've been fortunate to just learn so much and I've been using natural medicine to get results.

SPEAKER_01

You know, it's funny because I I was just getting ready to say, you know, what are some of the problems that you've been able to fix that general medicine can't fix?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I've seen patients with things like especially women with menopause and PCOS, you would think they go to a doctor that specializes in women's health that they would actually put them on testosterone to help them with these menopausal symptoms that women need testosterone. Oh yeah, just like men need it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh wow.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah. Men need estrogen too, but not to the degree of a woman.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Right? So unless they want to get all balked up to some of them.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So, you know, notial bodybuilders, but you know, you're seeing that. You're seeing kids with autism, you're seeing people with depression.

SPEAKER_01

How do you help kids with autism? Because there's a big market for that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, um, there's actually peptides that is geared towards helping with the brain chemistry and using things like red light therapy and hyperbaric chamber, uh, using exosomes IV. There's a lot of studies out there that actually shows that this stuff works, but you know, it's just diving deep and then other doctors, you know, being open to learning more outside of what Western medicine taught us.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. You know, let's talk a little bit about peptides because peptides is a big topic, and that's really one of the reasons why we wanted you here today. Because I know you're very educated on this, and you're doing this all over the world now. You have you have offices over in LA, West Coast. I know you're going overseas now with this. So, what exactly is a peptide? Tell the viewers exactly what a peptide is, and and let's go from there.

SPEAKER_00

So, a peptide is pretty much a chain of amino acids, which we already have in our bodies anyway, right? So, what these peptides can do is they can actually signal the body to do what it wants. We'll, for instance, we have BPC called body protective compound in our guts already. So, for those people who have inflammation and other things that can cause problems there, well, BPC is going to be made more to help with the inflammation. Well, we have a peptide that's called BPC TB500 that you can use as a pill to treat inflammation. But now we also use it as an injection to help with healing injuries and inflammation and things like that. But there's so many peptides that can use that you can use that are natural to help your body heal, treat anxiety, grow your hair back, have less wrinkles, um, help you with sleep, anxiety, weight loss, muscle, and guess what? It's all natural, which means you can start and stop when you want to. But why would you when you look and feel that good?

SPEAKER_01

You know, a lot of a lot of people are misinformed about peptides, thinking it's like steroids, you know, um, you know, because they're like, wait a second, is this legal? Because some of the people are getting such good results, and it's almost like, well, it's gotta be, you know, gotta be illegal if I'm getting good results. What do you mean it's it's natural and stuff? So explain how is it how it's actually natural because if you're injecting it in your body and it's something you have to do every day, what how is that how is that natural?

SPEAKER_00

It's natural in a way that it channels, like for instance, if you're taking growth hormone, we have growth hormone in us already. So by using this product, it's going to tell your body, hey, I need you to make more growth hormone so that I can get more benefits, sleep, muscle, uh, my mental health, right? You have peptides that can help increase your serotonin. We have these in our brain already. So with that serotonin, you can treat depression and anxiety. So they're pretty much channeling things that we already have on our body to make more of it for our desired effect, whatever we're trying to treat.

SPEAKER_01

Gotcha. What's the what's the biggest, hottest peptide out there today in the market? Because I know there's all different ones, and we I want to go down each e each level, but what's the one right now that's that's out there a lot that you're hearing?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, the biggest one right now is a reticutide. Yeah, I knew that was coming. I knew that was coming. It really is. It's really changing lives. You have people who haven't been able to lose weight for forever. They tried everything. Um, and then it's treat a multitude of things, not just the weight loss, but you have people with inflammation, you have women with PCOS and all these other ailments, and it just does so much more than just weight loss. And it is cutting edge. I mean, you're literally having to prevent people from probably trying to go get bariatric surgery because now you're channeling the body to do something it hasn't been able to do for years by using this peptide.

SPEAKER_01

How are how are peptides made? Like how how does that, you know, how do you get a hold of them, you know, where you know it's somebody else's peptide that you're putting inside yourself?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, well, we know China is great for all things. Yeah. So a lot of, you know, the these compounding pharmacies are getting the raw product from these places that are FDA approved in China, and then they are compounding them, or you have some labs that are just using that powder and the patient actually mixes it themselves with bacteriostatic water.

SPEAKER_01

Gotcha. But, you know, realistically, so it's something that's that's actually created. They make these amino, these peptides, you know, for people. So not coming from an embryo, you know, like uh stem cells or something like that. Because people do get confused with that as well, you know, because I I've heard people, I've told people, hey, you know, I had stem cells in my knee or my shoulder, and they're like, oh, okay, so those are the you know, you had to put the white powder and mix it and all that. And I'm like, no, no, these are like embryos and they're injected, and you gotta have somebody that knows what they're doing to be able to do all those types of things. So, you know, there is a misconception with that as well as Xosomes. So um, tell us a little bit about exomes and and what that can do for you as well, and why people choose that over something else.

SPEAKER_00

People can use PRP, which is your own plasma, to help with injuries and ailments, you know, and let's start with the basics. So, what these cells are designed to do.

SPEAKER_01

Talk about the PRP, like because now we're gonna so because that gets misconformed too. Oh, yeah. It's actually taking somebody's own blood, correct, right? You draw their blood, correct, and then you're spinning it, and that creates what you're what what could you use?

SPEAKER_00

So the blood that we take, it comes from you, right? So I always tell patients um how how healthy you are is how potent your PRP is gonna be. So take for instance someone who has diabetes, who eats my crap.

SPEAKER_01

So I need to be using like your blood. Yeah. Next time I do PRP, I want your blood. Yeah, or you or you, your son, a dog, or something like that.

SPEAKER_00

But we take that and we inject that back into you. But we can use that anywhere. So wherever you inject the PRP, it's gonna channel those cells to make whatever that is. So you could put it in the hair to make new hair follicles, you can put it in a muscle to make more muscle tissue in a ligament and so on and so forth to do that. But as you get older, the less stem cells you have with your own PRP. So that's where we come in with the stem cells, where it comes from the placenta. What they do is they ask women right before pregnancy, hey, do you want to donate your placenta? And this placenta is a ton of mesenchoma stem cells, growth factors, cytokines, all these things that can be used to do what PRP can do, but times 100, right? So if somebody has like a full tear or something like that in a muscle, then they're gonna need a stem cell injection versus PRP. Right. You can still heal with PRP, it's just gonna take longer, but because it's way more stem cells in that product, that would be your first choice. And then you can use PRP later because it's like a fertilizer is to a plant.

SPEAKER_01

So it's really if you're pregnant or you know a pregnant person, you probably should try to hit them up for some uh stem cells to be used.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah. A lot of them. How long can you hold them?

SPEAKER_01

How long can you give them a couple of things?

SPEAKER_00

So what they actually do is, and I already told my twin brother this because him and his wife are gonna get pregnant, to keep your placenta. Because you can use that.

SPEAKER_01

You should have told my daughter just had a baby, but you got a grandson on the wall. You don't know that. No, I didn't know that, as well. I didn't think about that.

SPEAKER_00

And with her placenta, say something were to happen to you, yeah, she could use the cells because she's your daughter, she could use the cells from her placenta to treat you. Yeah, her mom, her grandmother, all that, all the way up to the second generation.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. That's crazy. That should be like a questionnaire when they sign in. Shouldn't you? But they don't want to do that. They don't want people to do that. Why don't they want people to know?

SPEAKER_00

Just like they didn't want us to know about peptides.

SPEAKER_01

Right. And they won't approve it a lot. Exactly. Because they don't want you to get better. Exactly. I believe that, man. I think big pharma is a big problem.

SPEAKER_00

That's the world we live in. It's about making money off of us being sick rather than being healthy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, the drug dealers.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I know for me, I wish it was like an incentive for being healthy. Hey, we give you this amount to spend on your wellness, whatever that may be. Instead of you playing paying this premium for insurance all the time that you might not even use, they should give money back to you for being healthy and not needing to use your insurance.

SPEAKER_01

That would be that would be great. In a perfect world. We'll be in a perfect world, but unfortunately it keeps going up, up and up. Exactly. It's gotten to a point now where some people can't live, dude. And uh a family, like a young family that's got a couple kids, I mean, you know, it's $2,500 a month minimum. Oh, yeah. You know what I'm saying? You gotta make in order to bring home $30,000, you gotta make $50 to $60, you know, and the average Americans aren't making that.

SPEAKER_00

Correct.

SPEAKER_01

So they wonder why the world's struggling or they're not having insurance and they gotta go for special help and and so forth.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and keynote to everyone out there if you have a very high deductible with your insurance, pay cash, it is like a fraction of the cost. I promise you. That you need to remember that. That's that's strong.

SPEAKER_01

What do you think is more powerful? Is peptides more powerful than steroids?

SPEAKER_00

They have a different purpose. So if you have someone, and then steroids is only geared towards one thing, whether it's and that is gaining muscle, getting lean, um, and being shredded and all those things. Peptides can do so much more. You can get lean with that, but you can treat so many other things like you know, uh dementia, um, autism, diabetes, weight loss, sleep deprived, uh, anxiety and depression. So for me, I would take a peptide all day. But always tell patients peptides are not going to increase your testosterone if you're deficient there. You're going to need testosterone to do that, right? So that's the difference between the two. Peptides are has a purpose. Testosterone has a purpose too, but it's called therapeutic for a reason.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah, that's true. Can you bain can you gain muscle though on peptides? Other peptides for that? It is.

SPEAKER_00

However, which one diet is everything. Right. You have things like foliastatin, you have things like uh IgF1, uh, Tessmerelin, CJC, Semorolin, uh, PEG, uh, MGF, a lot of things that uh can help increase muscle in places that you're deficient in. Growth hormone can help do that.

SPEAKER_01

Really? Mm-hmm. So you have have a little bit of everything.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but I always tell people if you're trying to gain muscle, your diet and your workouts have to be geared towards that. Right. You can't be doing uh berries and uh orange theory and trying to gain muscle. It don't work like that. You have to lift heavy, you gotta eat for muscle gain.

SPEAKER_01

You know, you talked about dementia, and I know the older generation, older people always worried about that, and some people are actually going through that. How how can how can peptides help that? Like what which peptide would be used for that, and how would that work?

SPEAKER_00

So peptides can definitely help to um delay that or delay the progression, or it can produce new neurons in the brain, right? And also be neuroprotective, which means protect your brain from doing that, even if you're predisposed to that, right, from a family history. And you have things like dihexa, cerebral lysin, um you have uh thymacine alpha one, you can use BPC, um, you have what else you have? Yeah, you have a quite a few that can help with that, even things like stem cells, too. That can also have been studies that shows people who were at their later stages in Parkinson's and dementia actually regain their health with their mental state. Also, NAD is great as well. You can use methylene blue, also. Well, that's a big list.

SPEAKER_01

Go to Amazon today and purchase money management for beginners, a book for everybody, especially younger kids. Kids that get money don't know what to do with it. This is the best $20 you'll ever spend. We'll save you millions. That's right. I said millions of dollars if you start young and earn you the same. A M A Z O N Amazon. How do you know whether you're getting good stuff or wrong or bad stuff? I mean, there's so many people out there now. I mean, it's it's a problem because you don't know what you're getting and and and the potency of each one. You know, somebody's like, hey, take 20 CC's of this. This might be a different potent of 20 cc's of something else. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

All of a sudden we have all these drug reps.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. With those.

SPEAKER_00

You know, I mean, you got fitness coaches, you got people on the street, you got people at the gym that don't even look the part that's trying to sell. I had somebody ask me, hey, you looking for a uh a uh peptide provider? I'm saying, sir, first of all, I ain't buying nothing from you because you are a hundred pounds overweight. What can you give me? Nothing, but I can give you plenty. Right. But uh I've seen patients that have come to me from getting their stuff from a friend, from a friend, from somebody's trunk, and they say, you know, they're in a hospital with anaphylactic shock. And that's because there are certain parameters that you have to do to produce these peptides. If you miss certain steps, that kind of stuff can happen.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you know, they talk about some of the negative stuff. I hate to throw it out there, but they say the C-word, cancer, yeah, can be, you know, evolved through the wrong peptides. You know, so you do have to be careful with that. I mean, I had a buddy who lost the his color, like lost, you know, his his skin color because he was on a peptide and he thought he was, you know, on something that turned out that affected his skin color. So he got darker? He got he got way darker, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So he was taking melanatan.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. You know that.

SPEAKER_00

So was he supposed to be taking melanitan or he got something that ended up being melanatan, but it was supposed to be something else?

SPEAKER_01

I have no idea. That's a great question. No, he wasn't trying to get darker. So you know, he wasn't trying to get darker. It's just the way the peptide hit him, that's what happened.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, because I know with melanotan, if you use it too much, you can become really, really, really dark. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So that is something that people actually do. They want to they want to be darker? Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That one is a very popular one, especially during wedding season. Who wants to be white, white and they're wearing a white dress? Right. So that is one that you can do, but you can control how tan you get, but some people abuse it. And that's why I tell people, you anything you abuse, you have side effects. I don't care whether it's peptides, uh, steroids, testosterone, everything is prescribed a certain way for a reason. I mean, you have these people that buy on their stuff offline and have no idea how to use it. Well, some people can have side effects just because they're not using it correctly. But most peptides you don't have an issue. Like things like BPC, it's been tested that you can give yourself a hundred times the dose and not have a problem whatsoever. But it's things like melanotan or too much IGF, which could, if you were, did have cancer cells, it can increase cancer cell production a lot because you are abusing it. So that's why I tell people therapeutic doses, you usually don't see, you know, cancer progression when you're using a therapeutic dose.

SPEAKER_01

What would you say the safest peptide is that's out there today?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I would say TBBPC is probably the safest one. Yeah. I mean, I have yet to to hear or see anyone that's had a major side effect from that one.

SPEAKER_01

You know, it's funny because I hear more and more good stuff about BPC, not just for inflamm inflammation and everything else, but also gut uh gut issues and so forth.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah. I just had a patient today who was having uh issues with colitis, but also her colitis was so bad when she was pregnant that she ended up losing a baby. Right? Well, this time we took her off the biologics and she's using BPC and KPV, no issues with pregnancy. She is literally shook. Like she was like in awe today because she was just like she was nervous that wanted to have a baby, and she was just nervous about that happening again. And she's like three months in with no issues at all before the last time, as soon as she was pregnant, she had issues the entire pregnancy. So right now she's three months safe with using a peptide. That's crazy. That's great. Yeah, good. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What's the biggest mistake you would say people that you know new people first using peptides go through?

SPEAKER_00

Uh, I think the the biggest mistake is buying it from the wrong source. Um, and people don't know the questions they need to ask. Because if they can't tell you uh what we call a certificate of analysis, which pu provides the information, whether the purity it is and the sterility, uh, where is where is the place you is getting it from? Is it credible? Can you even look up the information of where they're where this pharmacy is? Can you talk to someone if you have a question? Can you talk to a pharmacist if you have the question? If you can't do any of those things, please don't put that in your body. People want to buy it cheap so they can save a quick dollar, but is your health worth saving saving a dollar?

SPEAKER_01

Right. Well, in and to be fair, you have to have a licensed, you know, physician prescribe it, correct? Like even though people are, shoot, they're selling them at the chiropractor's offices and stuff now. Correct. Um, who don't have, like you're a nurse practitioner, you have a degree in some sort of medical field. A lot of these people don't even have that anymore.

SPEAKER_00

Correct.

SPEAKER_01

And they're just going ahead saying, oh yeah, you need this, you need that.

SPEAKER_00

You have a lot of fitness coaches that are selling it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you hear it all over the world. So the questions you want to ask, what if you were to you were a new person, what would you tell the viewers three questions to ask?

SPEAKER_00

What is the certificate of analysis, which means what is the sterility, what is the purity, um, what is the address? What is the name of the place where you're getting your stuff from? Is it a lab? You want to see the lab? There's there's a couple places where you can actually, if you wanted to, you can actually go visit the lab and they'll walk you through it. And if somebody's telling you that, then you know what you're getting is good product. Right. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Is there a life expectancy on these peptides as well?

SPEAKER_00

Um, if you're getting what we call lifelize, which is the powdered version, it has a two-year shelf life. Keep it in the fridge. But normally, if you're getting ones that are compounded already, it's about three to six months before it starts to lose potency. So if you're somebody who wants to buy in bulk, I recommend you just get in a lifelize and you can just mix it when you want to. But as soon as you mix it, you want to keep it in the fridge.

SPEAKER_01

What do you recommend over? Would you recommend it mixed or the powder? Because you know, I've seen them both. And unfortunately, sometimes like when you're getting that's that's already mixed, you're wondering what's really in it. Yeah, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_00

Did somebody from if you're getting it from a pharmacy, then what you're getting, what you see on the bottom is what you're getting. Yeah. With some of these powders though, well, from what I've seen with some from some some patients that have showed me, well, I don't know what they're taking. It's uh I just see a bottle of powder, right? So you want to make sure it could be fentanyl.

SPEAKER_01

Who knows, right?

SPEAKER_00

So whatever you're getting, you just want to make sure that's what it is. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So any things to look for, like I'm sure there's a lot of knockoffs. I'm sure there's a lot of you know fake stuff out there and probably good fake stuff. Oh yeah. It's such a huge, huge market right now. Um, you know, I know it's hard even getting people to process with credit cards and different things. Like banks are refusing you know, the peptide businesses. You know, they don't want to see that because there's a lot of fraud and a lot of stuff going on with that. Correct, correct. They don't want the liability on their hands.

SPEAKER_00

Correct. And I feel like if you are a practice that is actually, even if you are doing peptides, if you're using a credible pharmacy, I feel like you should be okay because, well, if you go down to pharmacy going on first, because they're the ones who made it. But that gives you more credibility to saying, hey, we're we have a peptide business, but everything comes from a 503A pharmacies that are licensed by the FDA kind of thing. Gotcha.

SPEAKER_01

How long have you been in the peptides right now?

SPEAKER_00

About 10 years. 10 years. Yeah, November makes 10 years. I know that sounds crazy, but I'm not.

SPEAKER_01

No, it's funny because that's a long time. And peptides are, you know, are getting big over the last year or two. Yeah. But to know that, oh, 10 years ago you could do this stuff. Exactly. You know, why all of a sudden is the big rush now where you see more and more people talking about and wanting it?

SPEAKER_00

I feel like mostly in the fitness industry has been most of the people that have this type of knowledge, right? Have been using these types of things because they've always gotten stuff out of the black market. And then they don't talk about it because it's the black market. Right. And then you have people like Kim Kardashian, um, who finally came out with what they were doing, Hugh Jackman, uh, these celebrities and stuff. Then it got bigger because people like that started talking about it. But it's always okay. Yeah. Then it became okay. Then it became okay. Yeah, that's crazy. That's crazy, right? That's all it takes is for one of them.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. You know, you you wonder why, you know, what do you think the reason is why people take so long to take care of their health?

SPEAKER_00

Uh I know it is lack of education. And I feel like a lot of providers are guilty of not listening. And they do their bare minimum. And I know it's because of, well, they have to make money, they got to pay their student loans, they got to pay their staff, but they don't spend enough time with patients. And that's why I always tell people to go to a place where you can actually pay for that provider's time because you pay for that time. Whereas if you go to a family practice out to use your insurance, you got five minutes if that. So whatever you need to say, you need to have it ready. Right? So I tell people, go somewhere that's cash pay because you're going, you're gonna get what you are looking for as far as treatment goes. But also, you have places where people have so many bad experiences, they don't trust doctors. Or especially in my community, you know, I found that most black people want to go to someone that looked like them. And so because of that, they prefer not to go to a doctor based off of skin color alone because they feel like they're not gonna be listened to or not heard. And for me, working in the ER back in the day, well, black people are presumed to be able to take pain more. So therefore, when I worked in ER, you can have a white person and a black person with the same issue, that white person is gonna get more pain medications than the black person, even though they have the same amount of pain and the same diagnosis.

SPEAKER_01

Really? I've seen it. Wow. Yeah. All because of skin color. Yep. That's that's horrible. You even read that in the books. The funny thing is, it's not good for either one of them. Yeah. You know what I mean? That's the that's the that's the reality of it, right? So unfortunately, that's a that's a horrible case. Hi, I'm Phil Benamino, CEO and founder of Cost Plus Processing, the company that provides financial services to your business. We provide things such as POS systems, ATM machines, and check services. One of the biggest things that we strive ourselves here at Cost Plus Processing is our customer service. We are an A plus rated with the BBB with customer service, and we're proud to say we're here in the United States with all of our customer service agents. Our objections actually teach you and educate you about the costs that you're currently paying and show you ways where you can eliminate those costs that you no longer have to pay. One of the biggest programs that are out there today is our dual pricing program, where you actually can offer your customers now a choice of how they want to pay. Do they want to pay with cash or do they want to pay with card? And if they pay with card, it actually helps you to absorb the card fees so you no longer have to pay the fees like you've done for many, many years. Costless processing aligns ourselves with some of the top POS companies out there in the industry today. For example, we have perfected the car dealership industry, and our dedicated team are equipped to manage a variety of online payment forms and financing options that merchants require in this advanced ecosystem of payments. If you have a restaurant, we are proud to be able to manage the ongoing difficulties that arise from this fast-paced industry, and you're looking for pay at the table where customers can easily swipe their cards, tap their cards, and make their payments with tip and also have a choice of how they want to pay. We have the solutions for you here at Costco. We want to help other small business owners make their dreams come true for providing the best financial support from barbershops to liquor stores. Having the ability to take payments scheduled online and make calculating tip sharing an easy task only helps business owners put more attention and money into what really matters the most. Also, cost plus processing is on the front end of AI. We can also provide you kiosk for your business so customers can walk over to the kiosk and order anything that they want. Likewise, if you're having a problem getting employees in the kitchen to work, we can also provide you robots that will actually deliver your food straight to the customer. I want to thank you for the time that you took to learn a little bit about cost plus processing. And most importantly, why we are the future of merchant processing. You know, obviously you're in great shape. You take good care of yourself. What do you think are the three most important things in taking care of yourself?

SPEAKER_00

Sleep is huge. So many people neglect that. I mean, if you're gonna do anything, sleep, your body recovers, your brain recovers, the food that you're taking in is for nourishment. Like your sleep is everything. If you don't sleep, you you can't build muscle. You have so many people say I want to be build muscle, but you only can sleep three hours. Your sleep is essential, right? I always tell my patients too is drinking your water, right? Uh, your nutrition, what you put in your body. Like I had a patient the other day, she was eating so much processed food, body's inflamed, periods were heavy and painful. I said, I promise you, if you change your diet, watch your peers get better. And people don't realize that what you eat affects everything. What you eat can also affect your mood. It affects your sleep. And then also, you can't.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not gonna lie with you, my mood's pretty good when I'm eating ice cream. You know, I love me some ice cream. I'm gonna say it. Yeah. But you're right, it crashes me later. Exactly. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But for the most part, I tell people, you know, 80-20. Yeah, you know, I still eat my ice cream. Hell, I had my partner had uh a birthday recently. I had a piece of carrot cake and a piece of red velvet cake, but I knew I was gonna work that off.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_00

You can still do those things. It's not, it's a lifestyle for a reason.

SPEAKER_01

So it's obviously you say sleep, nutrition, exercise. I'm gathering is the the third of yours. Yeah. Now, you know what? If you had to choose between peptides, sleep, nutrition, and exercise, what's your number one?

SPEAKER_00

I would say sleep and exercise. And I say that because I don't care how much peptides you take, if you're not doing what you're supposed to do, they're not gonna do what they're not gonna be as great as what they should be because you're not doing the things that you need to do, which is nutrition and sleep. If you don't have those together, I don't care what you're taking.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. It's so funny because sleep is becoming more and more important and people are starting to realize that. But it's hard to fall asleep. A lot of people like myself, I struggle with sleep. Yeah, because the mind is working. Is there a sleep peptide?

SPEAKER_00

It is. And for people like you, I always tell them some people need a a routine to get to sleep. That may be, you know, uh blue lights, um, not eating any or drinking anything two hours before bed. That is having the the lights off. That is putting lavender on your pillow, that is um eating something like uh cottage cheese or kiwi or something with tryptophan in it that can help you to sleep, um, that helps to relax you. But then you also have magnesium glycinate you can take to help calm you down. You got aswagonda, L-theanine, those are natural supplements you can take. But then we have a peptide that we use for a lot of our patients. One, growth hormone is great at night because your growth hormone is the highest that helps you with sleep. We have what's called deep sleep-induced peptide. That's a peptide that can help you get to sleep and stay to sleep. And for those people who are very anxious, we have Celank, which helps you calm down anxiety. So those two paired together is a really, really good way to fall asleep and actually get sleep. Wow, that's amazing.

SPEAKER_01

You know, it's funny because people talk about waking up, right? Uh, a wake up, you set your alarm, you have an alarm to wake you up at a certain time. Yeah, you gotta do the same at night. I've learned that you gotta have a sleep time. Correct. And I'm saying, like, we're hey, okay, what whether it's 10 o'clock, 11, whatever number it is, whatever time it is, so that boom, the alarm goes off. It says, okay, it's time for me to get in my bed. Correct. Shut off the lights, do those things and get in that. 100%. So it it is important.

SPEAKER_00

And then some people just can't seem to do that. I'm like, you're some people gotta realize that you're they're different. Like you can't just be like, oh, I'm gonna wait and and wait up white somebody else. You need to do your thing for you. Right. And luckily for me, as soon as I hit the pillow, it's over. But for a lot of people out there, they need a routine. Right.

SPEAKER_01

You know, it's funny because you talk, there's so many different peptides for so many different things. The one that everybody wants, obviously, is weight weight loss seems to be the big one. Yeah. You know, you talked about REDA, but you there's other things out there. There's a trizepatite, there's semaglutide, there's other ones. What's what's the difference between one versus the other? Like, how do you know which best for you?

SPEAKER_00

So I know for me, uh, when I'm prescribing it, I tend to stay away from semaglutide because of all the side effects the nausea, the constipation. That one you see, you saw more of those types of side effects with that one, right? And people will lose weight, but they have less weight loss with that one because it only targets one uh hormone, which is G uh GIP, and then you have trzepotite, which targets two, which is GLP and GIP. But the thing about those two with semaglutide and trazipatide is muscle loss. A lot of people forget that they need protein, and that's because they don't have an appetite. But protein is essential. The last thing you want to do is lose all this weight and lose all the muscle with it. So if you're not working out, you're gonna lose up to 50% of that muscle. So, in essence, you look worse skinny than you did with being having weight on your body. So now you look skinny fat, and now you got loose skin. So now we got another problem, right?

SPEAKER_01

Right? The old skinny fat.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So I tell people that you need to be ready for both. Take care of loose skin that could start immediately and work out. That means lifting weights. Women, you're not gonna become a man by lifting heavy weights. Look at all these women out here who got muscle. Right, you're not gonna become a man.

SPEAKER_01

We're just trying to unless you want to, because there's some people that want to, you know, they want to, you know, they want to classify themselves as a man, or vice versa, for that matter. That's a whole that's a whole nother topic.

SPEAKER_00

Kudos to you guys, but I know for me I could never be a woman because they're not.

SPEAKER_01

I don't even know if I can say kudos to that. I I don't know. I just I just think what God gave you is what you are. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? It's like telling a dog you can be a cat. I mean, no, you can't. I mean you can try. Yeah, but you know, that's true. You can act it. Yeah, there's acting, you know what I'm saying? So but we know the real at the end of the day. But um, you know, obviously there's been so many great effects with different peptides. What are some of the worst ones you've heard? Like, what are some horror stories on some peptides like that people need to know about and hear so that they uh it's on their alarm?

SPEAKER_00

I would say if you're like abusing anything, like some peptides are only meant for a season. Um, things like folostatin, um, IgF, plenty of IGFs, those are meant for a season. And so we don't want people abusing those. How long is a season? I would say about three months. And how long are you off? I tell a patient at least two months off.

SPEAKER_01

But if it's all natural and healthy, and it's something that you provide. I mean, if you stay on, like when you assume that your body would create it normally, you know, it would.

SPEAKER_00

It would, but because it was heightened, probably won't be as low as it was when you started, but it will come back down. But it's not like how it is with testosterone. If you're injecting yourself with it, I mean, about a week to two later, you're back to where you started, you know, because you was giving your body something, an exogeneus that was not producing it, right? It was increasing your testosterone. But whereas peptides is it's increasing your body's production, it might not be as bad. Gotcha.

SPEAKER_01

You won't have that big of a talk about injections. I mean, having all these peptides for different injections, if you're injecting everything in your stomach, it does any problems like does it ever get art or some issues with that?

SPEAKER_00

I tell my patients that they need to switch uh injection sites, and most of us have fat, right? So I tell patients lower butt cheek, belly fat.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you look pretty lean, man. I don't know if it's not.

SPEAKER_00

I use my lower butt cheek. That's what my fat is. So I put it there. You can do your uh outer arm, you can do your outer thigh. Um, but then you can also do this thing called back loading, where a couple of your peptides you can draw all up in the same syringe and then inject one time.

SPEAKER_01

Really? Yeah. So there's no problem with that. No, but do you have to know is there's certain peptides you're not supposed to mix?

SPEAKER_00

I wouldn't mix my growth hormone with anything, but a lot of the other ones you can. Really? Okay.

SPEAKER_01

How do people go and know what they're like what's what they should be doing, what should what they shouldn't be doing, you know?

SPEAKER_00

Um, they would if they're going to a provider, but if they're getting it offline, then I guess they They need to go to the gentle giant.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely. They need to go to the gentle giant. Absolutely. And you know, that's one thing, you know, we talk about that as well. Not only just coming in for consultation, but you do do blood work and all that stuff. Like you're you're checking all the measurements of what you need and what you don't have and and all that stuff.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I don't play about blood work because I need to know where your body's starting at. We got to figure out what's going on there before I can be like, okay, this is what we're doing. For me to create a blueprint for you, I need to know what your body's foundation is. And that way I have a blueprint of what this is now and what we can look forward to later. Right. So it's almost like I'm personalizing the plan for them and I'm figuring out what their body does in order to build a plan for them to sustain this new journey and this new lifestyle.

SPEAKER_01

How young, you know, can kids be to be doing peptides? You see these kids in high school now wanting to do peptides or maybe doing peptides. Is that a no-no or is there a certain age limit on this stuff?

SPEAKER_00

I've actually treated kids as young as 13. Okay. Um, just because, like, for instance, I had a kid who his his brother's like 6'1, 6'2.

SPEAKER_01

Well, he got a peptide that can make me 6'1.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, you're you too old now.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, Jesus. Had to say that. Throw that right out, huh?

SPEAKER_00

I ain't dead yet. Come on, man. Um, but we have these things called growth plates in us, and they close at a certain age. Oh, okay. And so this kid was like six.

SPEAKER_01

That's a good recovery. Yeah. That's a good recovery.

SPEAKER_00

Uh so this kid was like 16. And of course, you know, school is different now. Girls don't want nobody short, they don't want nobody that don't got no muscle, they don't want nobody, you know, that's not uh secure. And so, of course, you know, he was, you know, of like five, two, five, three, and sixteen years old. Uh 15 at the time. And so their parents brought them to me and was like, hey, we have information that their growth plates are still open. Can you help? Well, we're using growth hormone to, you know, help them grow. But of course, it's a long process. You know, there's no guarantees, but because the growth growth plates are open, we could be using it for that for that reason. Gotcha. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Gotcha. Um, it's interesting because I think a lot of people, parents, a little bit again, uneducated, don't really know what you can and what you can't do. Yeah. But peptides seems to be pretty safe.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I mean, I tell people you can give them to your parents, your uh not your parents, you can give them to your animals as well.

SPEAKER_01

Really?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No kidding.

SPEAKER_00

If your dog is limping, you can give your dog a TBBPC injection as well. Wow. Yeah, they don't talk about that. No, they don't. Most of these things were tested on animals first. Why would you not give an animal if this could do this for me? They give animals the same antibiotics they give humans. So why wouldn't you give your your dog the same peptides you're taking?

SPEAKER_01

Right, right. Makes sense. Yeah. Makes sense. That's crazy. You know, one of the things too, also like even with BPC, they say inject it into where you have a problem. Correct. So, you know, if your knee, like I had some knee problems, of course, and I remember saying, you know, inject it right in your knee, you know, put it right there, right? And it's what's the difference between putting it there and somewhere else? Like eventually is it gonna get there or no? Okay. So explain that, explain that whole.

SPEAKER_00

So when it comes to having a a localized injury, you want that peptide to be as close or into that area because we want a targeted treatment. Whereas if I'm just sore from just overall just training and working out all the time, that's more systemic all over, right? So that's where you would do a uh sub Q, which is into the body fat injection, versus where you actually have pain.

SPEAKER_01

A lot going on here. Well, this is part of the show where I like to do what's called rapid questions, okay? I'm gonna give you some rapid questions. I want some quick answers from you. You ready? Yep. Best peptide for fat loss.

SPEAKER_00

Testmorelin, hypomerelin, retta.

SPEAKER_01

He threw in a couple. He threw in a couple in there. Best peptide for healing. BBC TV. Best peptide for longevity. G H K C U with epithalin. Best peptide to help age slower. That is epithalin. Okay. Yeah. Um, best to build muscle. All your growth hormones. Okay. Best peptide to help sleep. I think you gotta do it. DSLP, Salink. Sauna or cold plunge?

SPEAKER_00

Infrared is gonna be sauna.

SPEAKER_01

It's not it's not infrared. Okay, cold plunge. It's not matters. Infrared's important. Yeah. What's the biggest importance about it?

SPEAKER_00

What does it do differently? The red light and the information. Oh, you need it. Yeah. I don't want, I wouldn't want a sauna just for that purpose. I want a sauna with the red light part.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. Gotcha. TRT or peptides.

SPEAKER_00

Oh man, you can't do that to me.

SPEAKER_01

I've done it. I've done it. I'm stumping the giant. I'm stumping the giant.

SPEAKER_00

I would say peptides. Okay. Stem cells or peptides? It depends on what we're treating, but stem cells. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Over most overrated supplement. Ooh, good one right here.

SPEAKER_00

Them damn detox teas.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, okay. Most underrated supplement. Vitamin D. One thing that every man or woman should do.

SPEAKER_00

Get your damn blood work to see where you're at so you can stop walking around here with no sex drive, with no muscle mass, depressed, and just looking awful. Get your blood work.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, those are some good things right there. Good things right there. You know, where do you see everything going over the next 10 years? Because as we know, peptides are getting bigger and bigger. More and more people are getting more educated about it and stuff. Um, some people are making lots of money off of it too. And that becomes a problem as well because a lot of people think that, oh, they're telling me to up my dose. They just want me to go through my bottle quicker so I can buy another bottle. You know, and unfortunately, they might be telling the truth. Like that might be truthful to some of the people that are out there. How how do they know what's what's working, what's enough, what's not enough? Because you hear it different from everybody. Different people are on different doses of different different meds.

SPEAKER_00

I would say, you know, all of a sudden, people do your research, and then I know for instance, people think just because they're on the weight loss medications that they have to increase their dosage every week. But if you're getting the effects of appetite suppression, right, not having the cravings, and then you're feeling good with no side effects, that's where you want to stay. You don't have to keep increasing it. And then some people aren't on the right dosages because if you're a 250-pound man, you're not gonna have the same dosage as a woman who's 100 pounds. And I feel like a lot of these places either bumped you up too high too fast, or they don't give you enough to begin with. So you feel like nothing's working.

SPEAKER_01

You know, it's it's funny when you talk about that, but the truth of the matter is what happens when they come off of it? You know, people that that stop using it. Are they gonna gain all the weight back?

SPEAKER_00

The only reason they gain the weight back is because they never developed a lifestyle. If you just relied on those medications to only suppress your appetite, but you still ate bull crap, then you're gonna continue doing that again at the capacity you were doing it before, and you're gonna gain back that weight and some. So if you never develop a lifestyle, then you just wasted tons of money to lose that weight.

SPEAKER_01

You know, it's so important that they hear that again because what you said is lifestyle and people don't realize that. Use it to help you, you know, to get under control. Correct. But understand that, you know, it's what you put in your mouth.

SPEAKER_00

Correct. You know, and I need people to understand that, you know, the earth wasn't built overnight. You got so many people say I need to lose weight by this day. But I'm like, but you've been doing bad habits for most of your life, but all of a sudden you got three, three weeks to lose 50 pounds. Like, we need to be realistic. Right. And then if you do lose that weight that fast, you're not gonna like the way you look. So slow and steady wins the race. You learn the lifestyle in that time span. So if you do start the medication, then you still learn that lifestyle. That what the foundation was built off of.

SPEAKER_01

You know, it's so funny because over the weekend, I actually was just with one of my buddies who's in the UFC, and we talked about cutting weight versus losing weight. You know, he's walking around about 60 pounds heavier than what he fights at. Yeah. And I was making fun of him, going, Man, how do you walk around? So like, but but I've seen him cut weight and he's dropped 20 pounds in a day, you know, and he's like, as he said, cutting weight's different. He goes, You can cut weight, but that shit's coming right back. Yeah. You know, he goes, but if you lose weight, it's a lifestyle and you change it and it can stay off forever.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah. As someone who used to wrestle back in the day, a lot of people don't know that. State champ over here. Yeah. But luckily for me, I didn't have to do all that cutting weight because my weight class was between 226 to 275. And I was right at 260. So a lot of my teammates, uh, the reason why they gain that weight back and some so fast is because you're depleted. You have nothing in you. So by the time you make weight, oh, it's time to grow up because now you need that energy. Right, right. You know, but that was wrestling definitely taught me a lot.

SPEAKER_01

Oh man. Well, you know what, Kwam, you've helped a lot of people at General Giants. If you could speak to the 50-year-old pluses right now, and in 60 seconds, if you could tell them what are some things that they could do starting today to transform their life after there's a must.

SPEAKER_00

The first thing you guys gotta do, both male and female, is get your blood work and you gotta be open to suggestion, open to what someone like me is telling you, because you have a lot of people who want to chat GBT everything, but nothing beats experience. Chat GBT is gonna tell you what you want to hear, right? Whereas you have someone like me who's been there, done that, lost a lot of weight, looks apart, you gotta listen. And you gotta know that someone like me has your best interest at heart. Remember, you pay for my time, that's what you're gonna get. You're gonna always get what you're looking for. And at my practice, we make sure that you know what you're doing. You're never just paying all this money and then you're throwing off to the woods. You will always be able to ask questions. We have so many resources for you to know what you're doing, always. But blood work starts to transition so that you can live the next 30 to 50 years, the best you've ever spent. And that's what it's supposed to be. And I always tell people stop just surviving when you can be thriving. Just because you get older, don't mean you got to look it and feel it. You can hey, you can be sexy and having sex till you're 90 years old for all I care. But doing these types of things will allow you to do that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Well, thank you, Kwan. We appreciate you so much for being here. Anything else you need to tell the viewers, something that we don't know or need to know, you know, as far as where the future goes?

SPEAKER_00

Uh, protect yourself, guys. There's so many people out here selling peptides. I just want you to be safe, right? Go to someone who's credible. Um, you can follow me at my profile at Quan James, Q-U-A-W-N James, and then you can check out my website for anything you might be interested in. You can be anywhere in the world. We can do virtual consults, and our pharmacy can ship straight to you. So follow me to learn more. A lot of what you just learned today, I always educate on my platform so you will always get questions answered.

SPEAKER_01

There you have it, folks. You heard it right there. Understand and know your source. Because if you don't know your source, you might not be getting what you think you're getting. And as your boy Wham Bam always says, if your life was the movie, would it be worth watching? And if the answer is no, stop being ordinary and start being extraordinary. So next Wednesday, baby, stay positive and keep testing negative.
